A quick find and cache is in good condition. Our first NT cache which we did a special trip across the border to collect on our way to Lake Argyle. Thanks for making this possible
After two beautiful hikes in the national park we quickly found the cache. Thanks for bringing us here and greetings from Saxony in Germany!
On our travels we took the opportunity to grab this cache after expanding the search we had it in hand, thanks for placing it
Heading east and stopped by to grab this one. Struggled a bit but widened the search to an obvious structure and spotted it as we looked from the right angle. Tftc
We are heading into the Natinal Park so decided to stop and get this one on the way in. It was a nice quick find. Everything is good with this cache. Thanks for the hide
After a few nights staying in the park we grabbed this one on the way out. This park has some beautiful walks.
Travelling with richlink, north from Perth to Darwin and then south again, finding a cache or two along the way.
Where necessary, degraded caches have been repaired or changed, and new log sheets were added. TFTC Bushies 2

2 weeks in the Kimberley with Dino, Pebbles and Wilma. What a treat and not just that we went around to so many great natural highlights but we did Caches wherever we went which made me very happy and will be perfect to remember all those nice places we saw. Thank you all for showing us this beautiful state with your caches.
Today we are visited the wetlands and Wynham before driving to Kununarra and going to lake Argyle for a sunset tour.
On the way to the lake we were so close to the border with NT that we just had to make it over here. This cache was nice and close to border and the aim of us getting a first cache in this last of the Australien States and Territories for us.
A short lived worry was that we saw a cue at the other side when crossing into NT, (and we didn't have that much time before our lake cruise) but when we had turned around the cue was gone and all good with getting back into WA.
This cache: A quick find. All was dry but the container is a bit broken. I wasn't sure what the hint meant, but luckily spotted a glimpse of the cache.
Thank you Bushies2 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Woohoo!- First cache ever in the NT. Awesome walk in this national park after our find here at the gate. Container is broken, but could still sign the log sheet. TFTC
Nice little spot for the cache. First NT of the trip cache and LGA find.
When GreyHams discovered a great deal to relocate a motor home from Broome to Darwin, things quickly slotted into place to head out for another adventure together. Three planes and a full day of travelling later we arrived in Broome, with the most amazing orange sunset out the windows of the plane.
Plenty of time to discover a few of Broomes caches and places before collecting our wheels the following morning. It slept 6 and had all the luxuries, it was huge, climbing up into it there was no going back and off we set!
The drive was full of changing scenery. Loved the Boab trees in all their different shapes and mass numbers, termite mounds and the red earth. Wildlife lined the roads, always cattle but birds, wild horses, snakes, dingo's, pigs and even buffalo! Stunning rock formations, waterways and even many little fires it was a great drive stopping for the caches as we passed... but no crocs (sad face!)
Leaving Broome we had overnight stays in Fitzroy Crossing, Kununarra and Timber Creek, great places but the highlight being the Lazy Lizard in Timber Creek. Passing through Halls Creek, Katherine and even Kakadu among many other little towns and stops along the way added to a great trip. The van was comfortable and a novel way to travel, the caches spread out over big distances a chance to stretch the legs.
Arriving into Darwin and the van returned it was into town for a few must find caches, and to explore the town, a tad warmer than we were used to at 33C!
Many thanks to all the COs of the caches we stopped at along the way and that added to the enjoyment of the trip.

Aquilus1 & I decided at short notice to add another 'crazy' trip to our growing list of adventures. Flying from Canberra to Broome and driving a 'war rig' huge campervan from Broome to Darwin. It could sleep 6! The hire itself cost almost nothing as it was on a 'relocation' deal.
We arrived too late to pick up the bus on our first day....not surprising really as it took 3 flights to get there. The hotel we stayed at in Broome at had a "competition" on the night we arrived and several barmaids in odd clothing.... "Welcome to WA" it would seem.
After picking up the battleship, we proceeded easterly on our adventure. In three days we would see Fitzroy's Crossing, Hall's Creek, Kununurra, Timber Creek, Katherine, Pine Creek, Kakadu & Darwin, as well as a lot of road.
No crocs spotted, but we did see dingo's, water buffalo, horses, lots of birds & cows.
Favourite stop by a mile was in Pine Creek, at the Lazy Lizard. Very cool and also the cheapest!
Thanks to all the CO's for placing.

No problem with this find, box cracked but it was very dry

TFTC SL TNLN Bit of a search but success in the eng. Thanks for bringing us here.
The container is brittle and cracked and will need replacing. Sorry we didn’t have one with us
Nice easy find. The container is very cracked, so it will need replacing before the next rains. TFTC
Day 20 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.
Today was basically Katherine to Kununurra with a big stopover at Timber Creek due to a fatal hit and run that had the highway blocked for more than 10 hours until some enterprising drivers found a way around the Police road blocks for everything other than the trucks.
This cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.

The coords took us to 0m and we still didn't find it. A few items around but nothing we could see that would act as a cache. Not good for our first attempt in NT .
Just arrived from WA to NT and this is my first find here. I'm excited but at the same time a bit sad leaving WA behind. A good quick find and a new souvenir, tftc! Tb in.
With Markie McGowan looking at opening up the borders we thought we would hit the NT and roll the dice to get back in WA.
Signed my name near Barnzy12 and Jeb Jeb, two caches I have been trailing around mostly WA.

We were desperate to find at least one in NT so we went back & talked nicely to the border guards. Turns out this is actually in no man's land between WA & NT so we had their permission for a quick trip. TFTC Bushies2
Alas, so near yet so far. We have never cached in NT. We are over 2000kms from home but cannot travel the last 3km to get this one.
After booking a few activities the geowife suggested we go across the border into NT so I can knock pickup that region badge and pickup an extra LGA which wasn’t planned for this trip. We found one and then she said the next one is only 10 away let’s get that too. Who was I to argue?
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Warmun Roadhouse to Tumber Creek (NT).
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Bushies2' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Keep River' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Found at 11:40am not far along our great trek home from our Kimberley adventures. Just over the border which suddenly made it morning tea time, so we took the opportunity of the nearby shade and information shelter. Found before too long. SL TFTC
On our way from Kununurra WA to Timber Creek NT in our 4WD and caravan, we stopped at this popular National Park entrance.
Took little of use of the Grey Cells, but after reading the previous logs, soon the cache was found.'Well Done Bushies 2.

Grabbed as passing by. I’ve never liked walking on these things even as a child when up at the farm but again I had no choice.
A nice quick find while Mr dimor turned the car around. Lovely the heat

After a DNF at the border we pressed on to this cache to earn the NT souvenir.
Made a quick find and listened to the birdlife while signing the log. Magnificent.
Next stop was back to WA and Lake Argyle.
Thanks for the cache Bushies2 and the associated souvenir.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9820. We found this as part of our 2018 Round Australia trip.
Our last cache found in the NT for this trip. In the 12 years we've been caching before this trip we had found 14 caches. I think we now have another 200 to add to that now from the last 4 weeks. I almost left my GPS at this one too!
Thanks Bushies2 for the cache.

I found this a few days ago but didn't have a pen on me that worked. I can described the exact location of the cache if needed.
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 13. The road again continued West to Timber Creek and then Kununarra, plenty of roadside stops in the hyper long grass along the way.
Just before heading further in for a short walk it was good to get this one, even though I could not work out the clue.
Thanks.

I did the Goorrandalng Walk in the Nationalpark. And on the way back to the highway I stopped here. Interesting hiding place!
Well, with the weather starting to cool off slightly, i had been getting itchy feet to see more of this country and do a few caches along the way. The plan was two weeks in the northern territory but since i had not yet cached in WA, i thought i should set foot over the border and do a few WA caches as well. Then back into the NT for some caching, fishing and exploring. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful country. TFTC TNLN
On a serious 4 week roadtrip with Zauberkeks from Darwin to Perth I would like to thank all cache owners for the fun and information factor!

We, that is Zauberkeks and Cacheaffairs, enjoyed a 4 week trip from Darwin to Perth and would like to express our thanks to all owners of the caches for the learning experience and the awesome views and places they showed us!
Keep River was one of these spectacular locations! I tend to say, that this was my favorite NP of the entire trip. We saw plenty of birds at the lagoon (especially spoon bills)! We stayed here for two nights and did the Jarnem Walk in the morning and the Goorandalng Walk in the late afternoon -- and they were simply gorgeous!!! What a place! Practically a combination of little Bungles and lost cities with indigineous paintings and all... and we were practically alone!
Don't miss this place when you are in the vicinity!
Awesome place!!! Definitely a FAV-Point for these breathtaking two days!!! (too bad you can only give one...)
