Well folks,
I really, really, really wanted to keep this cache alive, and by way of maintenance, I even changed co-ordinates, but that was only meant to be a temporary measure till the permanent site could again be accessed. The original site will not again be available for a cache, and the eventual intended new site will not be publicly accessible for some months, or even a couple of years, we still don't know yet. A big thanks to the 366 people who found the cache, and those who tried. I just couldn't find a way to end up making it work right on the edge of the work site, and I suspect it would have been regularly muggled by the workers. It breaks my heart, but, I guess this one has to go, but, with the new foot bridge on the way, it will be back somehow.

Distance from original: 238.6 feet or 72.7 meters.
The original location is now in a construction zone, and will not in future be available for caching. The existing pedestrian bridge is to be removed, and replaced with a new bridge near the new cache hiding site.
The hide in the new location will be completed next Monday.

When I placed this cache, it was not expected to end up in a works site. The cache ended up with a work site below it, and I suspect someone may have dropped the cache into the work site, where it can't be retrieved. With over 350 finds in ten years, I do not intend to disable it. I will however declare the container and log sheet lost.
Because of the scope of the works, over the next ten days or so, will replace the container and log sheet, and create a temporary set of co-ordinates nearby, so as to survive the works going on. Expect the cache to be back on line on the 1st of December folks!!

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there wallyhunt,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I don’t think it’s there anymore because they’re doing lots of construction around.
Weren’t 100% sure if we found it. There was a Tupperware container but it had fallen off the bridge.
Such a cool area but its a bit scary going over the bridge at night haha. Had a solid search but still nothing. Will come back

The find was really a qaepag. Replacing it required some geochat, to pretend we were normal people doing normal things standing atop a highway chatting haha
Cache returned safely after all muggles were gone!

In need of a cache to keep my streak going and having just completed a month's worth of multis for another challenge cache I thought I'd pick a trad for a change.
AlphaDeltaIndigo and I parked up in the nearby side street, had a brief oh no moment when we could see some fencing and signage but all was ok as the fencing didn't extend as far as the pedestrian bridge.
I found the cache in the first place I set eyes upon.

Getting a sneaky couple after work, this being the second. A great hide, found quickly and luckily without any two wheeled disturbance. Thanks!
Nice quick find another for the afternoon. Tftc there are a few magnets loose which may have come off the cache but is still holding fast
Couldn't find it, looked high, looked low. Lots of rubbish under the walkway... another day hey. thanks !
Found on 20 Apr 2018 at 2:23 pm.
With too much annual leave built up I have started to take a few random days off to get it back down again so I took the bike out for 4 hours today along these trails on the opposite side of the city to what I am normally on. I managed 39 finds and 4 DNF's.
Apart from a few council workers near the first few caches, it was awesome on a Friday, clear trails and virtually no muggles anywhere to hinder my searches.
Stopped by here, parked the bike and after a bit of a search around I made the find. Also noticed the Munzee right next to it as well but I have stopped playing that game...too many to collect.
Thanks wallyhunt for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We rode to this one after finding a baker's dozen caches on the Federation Trail.
A very different view for us- we are usually down below!
Thanks wallyhunt for placing this cache.

Very nice hide! Took a while, but geocaching experience led me to the hiding place!
14:34, 27 June 2017. #770.
#2 on my map cleaning, centroid moving trek today. After finding Frog Pond to clean day 245 off the calendar, this one only had to complete 2/3 of the original mission and was a nice quick find in a logical spot.
The cache is in good condition.

16:48, 2 June 2017, # 258, out with ali doing a few after school collected TB to move on. Tftc
Yay #27 for Nadya. This was our second go and just had to reach up and feel around. Bit scary walking over the freeway with cars whizzing by below!
Looked unsuccessfully for this a couple of weeks ago in the completely wrong area, although as it turns out it might not have been there anyway. Tonight I found myself back in the area and this time I paid more attention to the cache name to focus my search and made the quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Reasonably easy to find. What an amazing view. Damn navigation took us on the freeway straight past it. But we got there
Tftc really not a safe area. The cache had lost its magnetic grip so was laying on the ground amongst. Broken glass, brick and I don't want to think what else.
I have taken the cache home with me as magnets had fallen off as was in an unsafe stop. Well replace magnets and replace
Out with geekids didn't bring a pen but scared the crap out of me and thought I dropped it haha
Great find a while ago was stuck to it pretty well, but no dramas and a very nice view today thanks to the chaotic traffic jams hahaha poor people trying to get home in it TFTC
While our son was warming up before his hockey game my husband and I took a walk across the freeway. The peak-hour traffic was heading home so we stopped to watch as the sun set and the city lights started to sparkle.
The log was signed after a short search. I should have trusted the GPS when it read 1.5m, instead of thinking that I knew better.
Thanks for showing us another view of this freeway.

The first find for the day. We did the first lot of looking in the wrong spot but then checked as per name. A quick find and it was an interesting view onto the Freeway and city. TFTC.

Nearly gave up... Very tricky hiding spot!

Loving geocaching perfect to make the trip a little more exciting with the family
So much rubbish, spray cans and beer bottles. Not sure if we were in the right spot?
Great hiding spot. Had to do some serious sleuthing, muggles everywhere this afternoon! No room left on the log sheet so signed the bottom.
