Had been told by other cachers and read the logs that this cache is still available - so stopped in on our drive through the Catlins - after walking the track this was an easy find log signed - thanks for the cache and bringing us here

We were at an event and overheard that this cache was still present so decided to see if we could spot. Thank goodness i try to keep copies of archived caches sometimes gives you ideas or information needed later. Well this one of those times and it wasn't long before we made the find. Log a little damp but hopefully with summer it should all dry out. Thanks for the cache .

I didn't realise this cache was still sitting here when I found the other caches in the area. All sorted today and the cache is in great condition too. TFTC # 15,463

On a whim, I walked up to the other falls to see if this cache was strill here.. and lo and behold, it is! I could even find my own log fro 2012 when I found it the first time..

Should probably be removed as trash though by someone..

Granville mentioned that "there used to be cache there"... sure enough, it is still there and in good condition too. I don't normally go out of my way to find archived caches, but when caching today with a previous finder who knew exactly where it was, why not?

Returned this way after checking out the current cache 86ft away at the Matai falls trad in good condition with peeps signing the little woman's dry logbooks. The archived caches' logbook was a little damp but still signable clearly with a pen, we had no trouble. We wrapped the book in some dry tissues and changed the the bags. TFTC

Found the archived cache in good order in the hide. Changed the bags and SL. There are now five caches in the area to visit now. TFTC

we stopped to take the short walk to visit the water falls. of course we searched also the cache - T4TC ..punkt on tour with chomo

The box ist still there and we didn´t recognized that the cache is archived. So we hope our log is O.K.

A good last find on this one, and a very nice walk to those twin falls.
Good that we found it just before getting archived.
Strange to drop a fav into an already archived cache, but our notes in the book say "FAV!" and so be it (we really liked the walk that day).

More beautiful falls this morning. After a little walk we enjoyed great views - first on Matai Falls and then on the Horseshoe Falls. Superb!
On the way up we found the cache quickly.

Came down to Dunedin for a weekend to attend mums event, and have a general good ol' family catch up time!

Last day down here, and we headed off early in the hours of the morning to collect a whole bunch of caches that were considered lonely for the next stage of the licence challenges up in Auckland on Rangitoto. Hadn't been asleep since the event that started at 1.59AM, and was pretty caffinated up!!!

Another nice wonder to stretch the legs in the early hours of the morning.

Two waterfalls for one walk! Worth the walk in and spent some time here. Found with Aoraki Sheep.

GPS had us 18m from GZ but not surprising with wet tree cover from the spray of the waterfall. In the end we found it by looking in the obvious spots. Found with debsnz

And another awesome waterfall - I have to admit with the twentieth majestic waterfall, they don't appear that breathtaking any more, but in fact THEY ARE! Thank you very much for putting out a box there!

We really loves falls but not my shoes they are now totally wet do not try to jump form stone to stone they a sooooo slippy TFTC

Made a short stop here on my way through the Catlins heading further south. Cache was easily found at a nice spot by the waterfalls. TFTC!

I think I signed the logbook dated Jan 13th, it is the 14th today...

We had a wedding to get to in Invercargill at 11, and we were coming from Dunedin so we didn't stop off at many caches along the way. We did both of these waterfall caches and really enjoyed them

Our fourth day in New Zealand on the road between Dunedin and the Catlins. More and more we feel in love with this awesome country... especially the nature... first we had a walk around in Dunedin and then traveled to the Catlins...

We were continuing south on our N Z Mega Event adventure finding a few caches along the way. We had decided that on this trip we would take the scenic route and head toward the Catlins Forest to explore that area further. We found ourselves stopping here to take a short walk to the waterfall and of course to find another cache. With the log quickly signed, we jumped back into the cache mobile and continued our adventure. Thank you for having placed the cache Bitsprayer

During our 22 day trip in new zealnd we have found a daily bunch of caches

We have done all of them with the four belgians - fieldi, team cabdriver, fonduvork and me.
