Out with kekemo, we didnt find this one. Only DNF for the day. Think it may of been damaged/ muggled. Not sure.
Wow Albany has expanded since our last visit which was for the 8th WA geocaching celebration back in 2009!
Rusty enjoyed a romp across the beautiful green lawns while we waited for the coast to clear.
thanks

Followed chwilliwr up the hill. Was looking at the right spot but John twigged to how to retrieve it.

Had been to a funeral in Albany earlier and had stopped nearby after. Before heading off home to Perth I noticed that this cache was nearby so walked up to it with another couple of cachers. Initially missed the cache but persisted and then found it.
Thanks Cruznoz for the cache.

13.30 - Visiting from Cairns and enjoying GCaching in WA. While the weather cleared we went out on this Sunday into deserted suburbs. this challenge fooled me for a while. then I changed focus and looked at the right spot. voila - cache in hand. I liked this simple but very effective design. well done. +/-0. T4TC.
Sorry late log. My initial search was with Team M-B the other night. Tough hide, under the cover of darkness we searched high and low and I am intrigued to whereabouts of this little cache.
We returned the next day with Wives and kids but it was bucketing down so we only spent a few quick minutes there. For the Geo fishermen, there were some local kids in the gazebo waiting out the rain who were fishing for red fin. Unfortunately we leave Albany tomorrow so I will add this cache to the other one which drives me "up the wall". TFTH.

The cache is still there. I've updated the coordinates to something more accurate. (I hope)
No luck finding this one today but I really didn't have a great deal of time as I was disturbed by muggle kids shortly after I arrived. I have a good idea where it might be but it will have to wait until another day. Docaroo =)
After 2 DNFs in a row I thought I had better check this cache out. However it is still alive and well. It is not your every day "hidden under a bush " type cache so a liitle thought is required to locate It
No matter how hard we tried, we just couldn't find this one. After spending ages scouring the location, we eventually had to give up and move on. We will be back though!
Both GPSs had us standing in the middle of the grass. Don't know whether it was the weather but after looking for fake grass decided that something wasn't right.
Had a look around the obvious places but with time not on our side we had to leave Albany with a DNF. We will be back to search again.

Found it. stared at by some young muggles and when pretended to walk off, so did they so i could come back and retrieve the cache. Adding to my favourites. TFTC
Clever chook......oh no they were ducks..............Thanks for the cache.........signed it.............."Stay safe"
Yay! Found it. How very clever this cache was. Geo-hubby was enthralled with this find and totally impressed by how clever it was. Thanks Cruznoz for this one. Oh and p.s. that big hairy spider mentioned by another finder was still there!!!

Too good for us. After 15 minutes searching we regrettably had to give up on this one. Loved the ducks!
Hello Mr Cruznoz
I dragged my husband back to the site on his birthday (and our son) and finally found your marvellous cache. We had been so close on the other occasions but were thwarted by Muggles or Storms or just Bad Attitudes. At least the ducks are consistent.
Thank you for the lovely work. We do appreciate your efforts - even if we find you a bit too tricky at times. )

It only took geo AJ about 30 seconds to find this one. Gpsr took him right to it. I was still reading the description when a loud "found it" was to be heard. Comments from kids include "this one is so cool, really awesome".
Back today but had a little help such a clever hide , but beware of big spider that was ontop of cache .
FINALLY!
shot of to gz straight after work and almost gave in then BOOM, got the log out and signed

A nice barmy evening and a few slices of bread to dispose off - and of to the lake we went in search of the cache. After a bit of a search it was found. TFTC and what a great place for an evening stroll.
Dont you just hate it when you look and look, and then check the logs to find that a cache has had several Did Not Finds!!! We didnt find it either, I should check before we drive there and waste time>
Hmmm visited a cache in Perth that has a Cruznoz feel about it!!!!!!!!!!!
Am thinking this cache is still there, but couldn't see the wood for the trees!!
We'll be BACK!

A perfect morning to visit the lake and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. However after spending quite some time there this one was too good for us. We will back with some bread for the ducks and another look. There was however a large structural piece missing at GZ and we hope it wasn't camouflaged in the missing piece. Probably not - just another good Cruznoz camo
On our 3rd visit to Albany this year! We are so addicted to Geocaching and the quality of caches in Albany in particular!
Hmmm well this one was too good for us. Another tricky Cruznoz cache has defeated us!
Thanks anyway.

ducks everywhere!! we took some bread and watched the ducks fight for a feed
our Gps took us straight to a patch of grass and we must have looked daft staring at the patch of grass for so long

The Canucks were saddened to hear of the demise of the original McKail Lake cache, since it was one of our first ever finds at the time we were introduced to geocaching. The feeling of amazement we felt at the ingenuity of the hide has not been forgotten. So when there was news that the cache was up again in a slightly altered location, we had to see if we could find it. It was worth the trip - it's every bit as impressive as the original! A nice conclusion to a quick geocaching cruise through Albany on a Monday afternoon. TFTC.
Edit: We weren't quite sure whether to log this as a `Note' or as another `Found' - we finally decided on the latter given the brand new hiding spot, but will edit the type of log if our choice was incorrect.

Had problems finding this one....went for a walk around lake, came back and found it very quickly. Great cache!!!
Some low down lousy muggle has taken a liking to this cache and decided to take it home. I'll make up a new container as soon as I can.
Geokid found this one! Very clever location...had to do the touristy thing for a while, multiple muggles about.
very clever yet again!!! Found with the kids on a cool spring day....the ducks certainly gave us a fright in the bushs! Thanks to albanygetaway for a slight hint! Different park for kids to play on.....and a few interesting muggles at the park.....
found by little bro when I was out putting a geocoin in waaay down south he showed me when I got back

Third search of the day in a short outing with two geo-kids. We treated ourselves to a ten minute stop here on the way home, and didn't expect to find it before our dinner-time deadline. We were pleasantly surprised to find the cache within our time limit (full credit to Junior Canuck #2), and not for lack of it being well disguised! We had to do some discrete `bird watching' when an innocent muggle strolled by. Quickly signed the log before it got too dark, and headed on our way to enjoy our dinner at home with exciting stories to tell the rest of the family. Lovely cache, a big thank you to Cruznoz for another wonderful creation. This has fired up my juniors with enthusiasm to beg dad to go treasure hunting with them every Saturday!

This is brillant i spoted it but the school hols where on, making it hard to get a free minute. Thanks for the Hide.
tftc....finally the park was quiet when i was going on my usual walk around the neighbourhood and i had my gps. loved the camo very creative.
Spent quite a bit of time on this one but gave up in the end. Oh well, has to be one sometime.
Finally we got around to this one....What can we say except " Cruznoz at his best."
Im sure you will be able to write a book one day.."Great cache hides....Its right under you nose"
Great cache spot and nice hide .

Finally got back to this one and found without to many problems. We have found another of Cruznoz caches and got the mind set. Very cunning and wonderful hide. SL TFTH
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice. had a quick blat the other morning at this one and couldnt stay long. returned this evening and was straight onto it. One of those moments where you cant find it the first time, but was in the first place you look the next time you come. Had to coax the huntsman away from my quarry which took a few moments, was nice for the local cache beast guardian to not be a squadron of mozzies.

Found this one today with the kids... so clever and very exciting once you discover it! Real spy stuff! Pine tree has all been cleaned up.
Tried this one but couldnt come up with the goods. Lots of muggles and that could have been part of the problem. Also there is a large old pine tree that has blown over onto a park bench near the play equipment. This is close to what we thought was GZ. Will try again when cleaned up and not a busy weekend.
What a great hide. Plenty of thought in your caches Cruznoz and another we really enjoyed. Signed the log. TFTH & TFTC.
They just keep getting better and better - we were very impressed with this little hide. An idea we will take away with us for future use. Thanks Cruznoz

This was the second one for the day & still had some rels intow. Found GZ easily enough but finding the cache was another thing. Spent a lot of time trying to find it & almost gave up. However, one of us who shall remain nameless came up with goods. Sneeky but one of the best I've seen todate. SL TFTC

Second find with the rellies out geocaching today. Congratulations Gekko1 on your first find!!
This one was indeed a very tricky hide. A number of us searched high and low but could not come up with the goods. We were ready to give it away.... when BINGO.... there it was!
I really liked the concept of this one and am thinking what a devious mind Cruznoz has!! I really did like this one!! TFTC

It was quiet in the park today for a Sunday, had visited here once before a couple of years ago but notice now a lot more building going on. A very clever hide - a variation of others we have done, but haven't seen one like this before. Well done. #2 of 30 today.
Very very clever, what an imagination you must have.
Our first ever cache and what a good one to start us off.

Took three tries to find this one. Lots of Muggles on Sundays, but a cold wet Wednesday cleared 'em away! Even so there was a lot of searching, head scratching and muttering before that one little tell-tale clue was spotted. What a clever idea! Neatly done. Another fine sneaky Albany hide. Thanks to cruznoz for diligent cunningness.
cheers, roymerc and 'Er Outdoors.

So clever, yet so simplistic! Loved the idea! Unfortunately Tarzan was absent from this particular cache hunt, but one day soon when passing by, I’ll drop in and show him this creative cache.
Needed something to do between football matches on the TV. It was a miserable day but during a break in the weather we headed out to find a couple of nearby caches. This one ‘made our day’. How do you come up with these ideas Cruznoz?
Very clever yet again Cruznoz. Your work is of the highest calibre.
Thank you
Thank you
Cunning cache. We followed the GPS and looked in all the likely places but still didnt see anything. We were almost deciding that it may have been muggled but the other finders comments about it bening well hidden made us do one last sweep of the area but this time we checking a little further away from the indicated place.
Yahoo....we found it. A great concept. We logged our find and went on our way happy to have another cache on our found list.

Now this one was a bit frustrating for mom... still walking towards it I indicated to the middle kid that it was just about in the right line with the coords and the little beggar had found it before mom and dad even got there! - So much so for micro ones being harder to find...
Well, can't very well say TFTH - there was none - but TFTC, we marvelled at it when we got there

Extra points for the design of this one! This was very creative and extremely clever. Whilst GPS and Geodog were trying to get us to go swimming I happened to be checking some likely spots nearby and came up with the goods. Thank you for the effort and the fun.
Yet another very well concealed cache. We have found the caches in Albany to be particularly creative. It took us a while but we got there. TFTH.
Our very first hunt, and a tricky find- ingenious! Very excited to be on the right path, and geofamily loving the challenges.
another stunning hide and a very tricky little approach to getting the cache out of its hiding spot. geokiddies loved this one.

Nice lake too. We really enjoyed checking it out. Thanks fo bringing us here.

Rremember this as a farm paddock with a dam. How things change in not such a long time span. Nice walk round the "dam". Great cache. Nicely concealed. Had a ball on the nearby playground. Kids at heat we are. Then for a drive around the nearby development with a creek meandering through. Should be a treat when finished. Many options for more caches in the future.
Thanks for bringing me to a part of town rarely visited.

A walk in the park (this park) is not something done by the Coasters before. Driven past many times and once or twice thought "what a great spot to hide something for others to find". Hopeful of a FTF, but beaten by "Dinger" and the "Rhyan Clan" who headed out straight after school.
Clever and well thought out, a challenger for "roymerc" and "mister_clyde". This is a ripper little cache, not too hard to find, but you have to look for it.

Twas raining when I visited this one,so I got to try out my new Geo-caching Poncho. Its made of very light material and folds up very small.Kept me,GPSr,and log scroll dry as a bone.
Neat little cache this one, in a very nice peaceful little Park.
Cheers.

Raced off as soon as we collected the kids from school and couldn't get there fast enough hoping to get a FTF. Found it in no time with our Team Effort Caching but to our surprise Dinger Day had beaten us to it. Congratulations Dinger Day and Congratulations CRUZNOZ for a supurb cache it was a pleasure to do this one and the play ground is awsome. We had never been here before but the kids difinately want to return again real soon. The ducks came over to see what we were up to and they are so cute.
Thanks CRUZNOZ for showing us this nice playground and park.

Out and about with The Rhyan Clan and The Wild Gang. We found it!!!! We were racing each other to get a FTF to only find we had been beated to it by Dinger Day, but we had lots of fun trying and the playground is awsome.
