The GPS was pointing me to the corner of the cemetery however I found it a lot closer to the entrance than indicated. Great spot. TFTC
#6948- A surprisingly quick find with thomo31. Replaced the soggy log. Thanks
Found with waywardwoman while caching in the area. Put in new log sheet and returned as found. TFTC
Capping the day off with this find. Does need a little maintenance place in same area but out of the weather. Thanks.

On the way home took a little detour on this scenic route.
Possibly the smallest cemetery I’ve ever seen

After attending a meeting in Lithgow yesterday afternoon, I decided to crash at my aunt's place in Portland last night, rather than driving straight back to the Central Coast. That gave me the chance to grab a few caches around Cullen Bullen and Wallerawang this morning before I headed for home.
I hoped that I was being brought to see something worth seeing as I headed down the Back Cullen Rd from Portland and as soon as I saw what I was approaching, I knew that's where the cache would be. A quick check of my GPS when I pulled up confirmed that I was in the right place ... and it then it took just seconds to bring the prize to hand.
Thanks for the hide josh-penny right way, and for bringing me to this interesting old place that surprisingly, joshwa27 hasn't found/used (yet) for one of his history caches ...

Headed away for the weekend with fitzy_1965. Made our way through Cowra and Bathurst trying to pick up some out of the way caches and some previous DNFs. I ended up with 48 finds but unfortunately we had around 17 more DNFs.
I got out of the car, walked over and just put my hand straight on the cache as fitzy wondered over......love the name of the cemetery too.....I'm a Cullen!

Day 3 dawned and after packing up camp we started caching again. A short detour for a nice cache find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks josh-penny right way !!

It was fresh and windy on this day, so we were glad for a quick find...
The cache seemed to have been displaced where we found it, so we signed the log and with good intentions we replaced it safely...

Interesting container well done Josh-Penny. May have been placed away from the original position. I found the cache about 3 meters from the co-ords, great spot, great bit of country & another dirt road, luv the dirt. TFTC.
We discovered all those many a couple of days ago.
We have solved all the interesting mysteries before we started our trip to the Mid Western Region of NSW.
Day 1
We started the day in Meadow Flat, followed by Sunny Corner and Dark Corner past Palmers Oakley.
We loved the hilly nature along many peaceful Gravel roads. Many smilies were forming on our map.
We finished the day in Bathurst.
Day 2
We started all fresh again in the morning. Leaving Bathurst, we were able to get going about faster along the sealed road.
We reached Sofala at around lunch time. We couldn't believe that about 40,000 used to live here. It really seemed that the city stopped developing in around the 1850's..
We continued towards Hills End and Windeyer through dry grassy land in 47 degrees heat.
We spend such a beautiful night here in Windeyer in the caravan park. We booked one of the train accomodation where you got to stay in the train back in time. What a great experience. We really liked Windeyer as it seemed so far away from all the city rush. Te locals were very welcoming and were happy to see us in the pub next door for dinner.
What a great community living were it seems like everyone knows everyone.
Day 3
We left Windeyer after a big breakfast. We travelled along Hills End Road until we reached the turn towards another Gravel road. There wer many animals to watch and it got even hotter and hotter.
This day ended in Mudgee.
Day 4
We took a look at Mudgee city today were we searched for a couple of caches and ten continued towards Rylstone.
After we continued to the Wollemi National Park which a good friend recommended us to go. Here we climbed on the top of the mountain and simply enjoyed the stunning view and the tranquil nature.
After, we traveled towards Kandos, Capertee, Cullen Bullen, Portland and Wallerawang back home to Sydney.
We hereby would like to thank all owners for this great interesting tour. We got to see many historical places and sometimes felt like as if we were living back in the the 1850's, which is a good thing.
Thanks

All credit goes to Toriaz for finding this one, since it wasn't where I would have thought to look. A cute little cemetery. Thanks
What should have been a quick find, took a bit longer as I think it was in a different spot, due to the container's features, it could have been hidden differently.
Oh well, another find and no zombie uprising!
Thanks

Nice quick easy little hidey. Tftc, i closed the gate behind me to prevent zombies escaping, just incase.
A day roadtripping alone around the general area. Travelled the wrong road, and realising I was parallel but far away and doubled back for the right track. All was well till I arrived at this little cemetery to discover it was for a micro. Hmmm, then mislead indeed by 'friend' ASO's previous log 'but after spotting an oddly placed letterbox' ... the 'fungus decobwebbed the said unit all to no avail - I have been told since by said 'friend' more fool me (or along those lines). For another visit ...
Took a few minutes to find this one, had thought being a Micro the prettier portion of our team would find it first (she always finds the micros and nannos), but after spotting an oddly placed letterbox (what is the go with a letterbox in this place) a find was made by moi! TFTC!
Waking the dead with a late night geo. Nice hide. Found with zzub and allenlennon
Mudgee Trip 2013. With the roads getting quieter I was happy to stop here away from the main road. This one eluded me for a bit. Thanks.

I saw this one come up on my GPSr and decided to investigate. A very interesting location here. I checked a couple of obvious spots without success then something caught my eye and I soon had the log extracted from the container. A great spot that I enjoyed coming to and a very good hide as well.

Took some searching but cache is safe and sound, great idea for a container, about to give up when geomum came up cih! Nice to see some creative caches out in the bush, nice peaceful cemetery also tftc
We searched everywhere but no luck this time. Probably didn't help that it was raining.
Sneaky! We enjoyed finding this nicely hidden cache on our second visit. Thanks josh-penny right way.
I like the hiding place - and it fooled us on the first visit. Fond it this time after a bit of a search. Very creative cache container. TFTC
This took a bit of a search to locate because our GPS's were taking us a few metres away. A clever hide in a pretty little spot.

Thank you for bringing us to this lovely little cemetery we wouldn't have known about. An interesting piece of local history in this beautiful setting. TFTC.
Much easier than climbing to the top of Pantoneys! Log sheet is full... and a cute little micro.
I ironically found one of these only last week and so I almost kicked myself after spending a few minutes eliminating all of the other "traditional" hiding places.
A "huge" container and well hidden

The things you find when out caching. I'm sure there is plenty of history here.
Thanks

Out for a weekends caching towards Meadlow Bath where we were going to meet up with some muggle friends for lunch on Sunday. We arrived at GZ and made a cuppa whilst looking at the old cemetery. The GPS took a while to settle and then we made a quick find. Thanks Sjohs-penny-right-way for the cache.
Out on a weekend caching trip. Actually, we were supposed to be going to lunch with some friends on Sunday at Blackheath, But Black Bunny decided that we might as well make it a dual purpose trip. Of course, we cached all day Saturday, and on Sunday, and we were very nearly late for lunch. After that, of course, we had some caching to do, and a long drive back to Canberra. We made it by about 2300. A long weekend, but fruitful. Lunch was good, too.
We stopped and had a cuppa here. Nice spot - cunning little cache! Thanks, josh-penny right way!

Almost gave up on this one for some reason & then we spotted the giveaway cache concealment. Can't believe we missed it to start with! A nice spot.

Second josh-penny cache for the day.
The observant Geo-wife spotted this one.
It's great that areas like this are being maintained
for the information of future generations.
Signed the log and we were on our way to find some
more caches. TFTC

I went over the structures a few times before I spotted something not quiet right nearby. Nice touch first time I've seen one just like that, might have to do something similar sometime down the track.

Found fairly quickly on a wet day. Very cool cache. Haven't seen one like this before.
A very pretty and peaceful spot. And such a clever little cache container with a cute little log. Thanks for a very enjoyable cache, perfect location
Very sneaky hide. Took us a few minutes to find it, but once we expanded our concept of what we were hunting for we found it quickly. Cheers Gav [4294]

I'm not sure if the cache was in the right spot. I found it in under 5 seconds. Reading the previous logs, others have not been so lucky.
Thanks josh-penny right way for the cache.

Found it! 12:45 Had a quick look around the headstones here before getting down to business. Had a bit of trouble with the co-ords at first but there are only so many hiding spots so the log was signed and returned PDQ. TFTC

We had visited this spot several months ago with plans to hide a cache here as we visit the speed way offen. Great to see more caches appearing in this area.

This cache was not where we first looked but Mrs R took the find in about a minute ! like the container ! very creative, good to see you lot hiding again as it's not a bad drive down your way ! keep up the fine work.
Found with the company of Sleepyhill on our way home from work. Took a little more searching than we expected but then Mr Sleepyhill came up with the goods just as we were about to give up due to fading light.
We both commented that we have been along this road many many times previously but still we were unaware that this peaceful little spot existed.
Thanks for the cache and thanks for showing us this little spot.
BTW good work on the container. Have seen one similar somewhere before on our travels.
