Found it on 23/9 with Mrs Flag, a fun wee find with a playground nearby and school holidays in full swing! Watch out, dchanel is on my tail lol!
Visited this park earlier with no luck so back this afternoon, no muggles about and quickly grabbed it. Tftc
Nobody about here today made for an uninterrupted search and soon had CIH. TFTC. SL.
Had to use the bathroom whilst the council workers packed up but then in for a quick find.
Nice easy find once I realised IPS was not necessarily what I thought it meant. TFTC
Found this afternoon while in the area for work. Stopped to use the facilities and thought wonder if there is a cache here. Guess what...... There was!!
Nice easy find.

My last day on the Gold Coast so time to go and find some more caches in the area before heading off on my homeward journey. This one didn't turn out to be too hard although it wasn't in the first few places I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Not so sure that this qualifies as IPS, but I'll grab the smiley face regardless

Not having a boat to float I had to be satisfied with some village caches. My phone was indicating something nearby but I decided to try for the more obvious place first and there it was. There was a nice breeze blowing through here this morning. It would be fun to do the water caches at some time. Thanks Herbz.
This was our second time here and we thought it had beaten us again. However Anth had his caching eyes in fine tune and soon the cache was in hand. Colour made for excellent camouflage. Thanks for the cache Herbz
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. A quickish find, with no muggles here today. TFTC
Just as I pulled up at GZ car park a truck load of council workers pulled in beside me. They didnt look like they were gong anywhere in a hurry (surprise surprise!) so I tried to look as innocent as possible a i searched for the cache. Managed a quick find, sign and replace. Thanks Herbz!
Out with teamdfl for another Mad Friday. Only one lady with a little boy here today so there were no distractions. A bit of a search before we made the find. TFTC, Herbz.
Out with IolantheK on a freaky Friday. I had almost visited this cache a year ago when I was out on a numbers day. I gave it a miss then because I needed to find caches quickly to get my numbers up for a milestone. Today was just about fining any caches anywhere. Our GPSs zoned in on the wrong structure to start with. We soon figured out where it should be though. Not long after that we had the beast
Nice and quiet muggle free Village Green today. Makes it feel like a FTF with a new log sheet. TFTC. SL.
Found the magnet that looked very close to what would have been the cache. I think this one has been washed or muggled out
Couldnt find this one tonight, gz a little all over the place, did find a very small magnet in a strange spot, not sure if it was part of the cache? Might be worth the owner having a quick check to see that all is in order.
Thanks Herbz, always good ones! Caching with Berken! Will need a new log as its almost full!
Found on a morning of geocaching with my 82 year old mother. she's loving it.
This was Mum's 2nd find she walked up to GZ & put her hand on it straight away.
Must be beginners luck.
Thanks for another good cache Herbz

As we arrived at this location, we were pleased that the last muggle was just leaving with her dog. That gave us an uninterrupted opportunity to search. Luckily a quick find was made. TFTC Herbz.
Don't you love it when you just walk straight to a cache. Time go the next one. Thanks Herbz
A good looking playground, pity I had no kids with me . I did, however, have a fellow cacher who walked up, peeked, and grabbed it immediately. Not exactly what I was expecting! But nice to have a quick find. TFTC, Herbz. =^.^=
Had a go at this one late last Sunday night with no luck. Decided to give it a go in the daylight today and found it straight away. It was sitting on the ground out in the open. Signed the log at placed it back in a more suitable location.
Sometimes you are just lucky to look at the right spot at the right time!. We arrived and spotted it right away! TFTC Herbz.
this took a little while to find but found it after reading some of the logs.

Found while out with my mum {Whint & Baddal} and my sister {Gambler2000} & Captain Terror

Back in my early days of caching I had a lot of trouble and DNF'd one of these IPS series, so although my cache finding skills have probably increased ten fold since then, I knew this would be a tricky one. First cache of the day for Whint and Baddal and I and co-ords had us right on those bins, and boy were they rancid today. Whint checked out the shelter shed and I took the downwind BBQ area (chivalrous aren't I?) We both hunted high and low and I was checking every detail at close range. No cache, so we widended the search area and increased the camera setting to macro. It was as I was checking a slightly more obvious spot that I noticed a familiar container. Ah, it does blend in very well, but sticks out as soon as you see it. We signed the log and were happy to head away from the stinky bins. A clever one, TFTC Herbz
This was a very sneaky hide. Very hard to spot and I must admit I was very lucky to see it.
Thanks
Thanks
Second find for the day.... took us a wee while to find... was really hoping that it was not anywhere near those disgusting stinky bins.... I have to say I was relieved when Captain Terror spotted the little beast so we could get out of there..... poo-eeee! lol

"We had "Take a Seat" and "Hiding in Tamworth" I know we have to be somewhere but can we please just do one more"
I can still hear myself saying it, it's just down the road and we have to pass it again. There were muggles here on our way up so hoping we could do another quick find.
YES!! They agreed!! So we head to GZ now which structure HUM well mybe its here
YES Geo Youngest Girl comes up with it saying "Sorry" thinking she had broken something until we tell her "That's the Cache"
This was rather loose in it's location may need to be checked.
Thanks Herbz TFTC SL

My previous search for this one was unsuccessful. It appears that it was not there last time so I thought it was time to try again.
Only one large and one small muggle in the play area so I moved in for an inspection. There didn't appear to be too many places to hide a cache but after my recent second failure at the Shelter I knew that it could be very difficult.
Luckily I looked at the right angle to see something a bit different and I knew that I had it located.
Thanks Herbz. I'm gradually getting them all. It may take a couple more years yet though.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 4:00pm. Muggles were about when we call earlier but back at 4pm and found the cache quickly. TFTC
I'm just slowly making my way south for a week-end out on the bike.
This one was probably the quickest find out of all of these IPS caches.
Thanks for the cache.
edit: because I got a couple of caches mixed up.

Found it surprisingly quickly - my eye must have been sharply in tune
Another sneaky cache in Helensvale. TFTC.

On our way home KateRX and I though we would just stop in and grab this one.
And that we did, signed the log and moved on.

My GPS said the cache was located around the garbage bins... I wasn't going to close to them, there was something really rotten inside. We expanded our search and Noo82 came up with the cache.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Having earlier been muggled out by some children playing near by, we came back again. After search in the obvious spots for some time, we were about to give up for the day when we decided that one last look...
ahhh there you are with the log signed and the cache replaced we were on our way.

A bit worried as we had just had a DNF on another, wondered what we were in store for here, but it came to us fairly quickly.TFTC.Herbz.
My third visit over the past six months. Finally managed to have Ms M in tow this time. She usually finds all the caches straight away that I can't find . As she was zeroing in on the rubbish bins I suddenly spotted the little blighter. How DID I miss it on my previous visits? Ms M says that I needed the competition

Had to re-visit because of picnicers. I was looking in the wrong area. Had to re-think and search differently. Great hide.
Great hiding spot, lots of muggles about so had to leave & come back to this one. Glad we did, 21st find for the morning, well done tonks.
Had to revisit after Mum and kids sent as away packing as they were right on the GZ. Returned and searched high and low. I found this well camo micro. TFTC
Thankfully teh muggles moved on, so we could move in to make our search - took some time - great cammo and hide - well done again Herbz
Replaced container today. Previous one had gone. Moved location slightly to make it less muggleable (hopefully).
This one beat me. Spent a good 30 min checking over the Barbie, Bins (v. smelly) and seats. Even a couple of trees.
I even found a coupe of lizards around the Barbie. Half expected one of them to be plastic. Not today.

We had a reasonably quick find on this one today. Have searched for ages on very similar caches.

No muggles around today. Far too hot. After a quick search Stairman1 found this one. You sure need small writing for this log. TFTC
With the local kindergarten at play here, I thought it was best to give it a miss
Fangsoki knew right where this one was supposed to be and had it in hand in a flash. As we sat down to sign the log, a muggle family arrived [xx(]. Doh!! Luckily a good place to return it to without arousing suspicion and they were busy on the play equipment anyway. Thanks Herbz
I had tried to do this with Radnoski a few months ago to no avail. Today with Lokipagan - we enjoyed success. When we approached the park, not a muggle to be seen. With the cache located after a bit of a hunt, we sat down to conclude formaltiies. Then instantly a muggle family turned up. Loki returned the cache in her own subtle way and we moved along. TFTC Herbz - happy to be able to finally get this one
Another clever cache. Had us guessing for a while but finally found it. TFTC. Enjoying these ones Herbz.
Another excellent idea where the container hidden spot. Loves this park so beauty. SL. Thanks Herbz
This is find number 600 for me and I can finally finish the IPS (In Plain Sight) Series.
I accidentally found "IPS 5 - Hanging Around" on March 13 this year and have been in search of these devious caches ever since. I was finishing off another Herbz series called "Shores" and the old yellow Garmin Etrek indicated a cache nearby. I followed the arrow not knowing what the actual cache was or what type of hide it was. (This was back in the printed out cache details day and I didn't have that particular print out on me) After searching the GZ for a while I saw something unusual and decided to check it out. It was a cache so I signed the log book and only found out when I got home it was part of another Herbz series.
This cache was the last remaining un-found cache in the series and after quite a few visits to the GZ I finally got to sign the log tonight and finish off the series. (it only took 6 months and 29 days)
TFTC Herbz. TNLNSL. Well done on the various series around Helensvale and Coombabah Lake. Now that these caches are done I will have to focus on your caches that I haven't found in the Hinterland which will take me up to the various pinnacles and around those long walking tracks.

Cache replaced with new container. We'll see how this one goes. It's in an easily mugglable place so if it disappears again we'll move it to a different position.
No joy on this one, Even knowing exactly where to look, I ran my fingers over every millimeter of that object and found nothing, I saw a spot that I was sure had had something there. This one may need to be checked.

After tracking down the other two IPS caches in the area with Fangsoki we saw that the park was relatively muggle free so we started to search for this guy.
After a bit of subtle searching, the last of the muggles left the park and we did a more thorough search of the area.
You are too clever for me Team Herbz. One day I will work this one out and finish the IPS series........ but not today.
