###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

A few caches while Jonathan Camper gets serviceed nearby. This puzzle has been on the solved list a long time, we weren’t lucky here today.
Because of the recent DNF’s and the log back in November, it seems this cache needs some attention, thank you.
Nice day for caching but this one certainly escaped us. Trusting its still where it should be. We took the hint but still were left with the dreaded Blue Dot. Thanks for the puzzle.
With the help of old mate Google I had a viable set of numbers but the checker didn't like it.
I decided to trust my instincts and since I was in the area I thought I would give it a go.
Turned out to be very easy as the log was just lying on the ground. I scavenged about and found a torn bag but no container. I had no clue where it was supposed to be so I have placed it somewhere nearby and CO notified.
TFTC and puzzle.

After dropping a mate at the airport, I went round for a few finds before returning all the way home again to pick up the parents to drop at the airport!
Solved this one while I was out of the country for the last 5 months. Finally had the opportunity to nab the final today. Thanks to atCatpacity for replacing the log. Cheers the_robots!

Not generally being a sci-fi fan, I had to do some research to solve this puzzle! Luckily, Google was my friend and solving didn't take too long In the area today, we decided to pick up some solved puzzles. GZ for this cache is beautiful! A short search at GZ, and the cache was in hand. As mentioned in previous logs, the logbook was soaking, due to a large hole in the ziplock bag. We have added a fresh log in a new ziplock - hopefully that keeps for awhile! Thanks for the puzzle and cache, the_robots
Took a while until I noticed something different. Then it was a quick retrieval. Log totally waterlogged. Tried to make a mark but not entirely successful. More of an impression. . Tftc nice puzzle and have a fave
Tricky find. We messed up one of the numbers as we were just working off our GPS and mobile phone to figure it out but since that showed us in the water we just substitutes a few numbers until one looked like the right place going by the clue.
We wandered up and down then though about it and soon found the container. Wow that well hidden.
Thanks for the cache.

Nanny & Poppy got my own online account so I can now log this, found with Parkacruz, smileyjims & piknik15 TFTC
A very late log, found with parkacruz, piknik15 & Parkeripp but we never logged online which we are now rectifying TFTC
I enjoyed your cache, I found it with Nanny & Poppy aka parkacruz and smileyjims, this was a fun place TFTC
A quick solve of this one before my morning walk/run along the river.
Great little location for the puzzle.
There was enough room in the cache to fit a TB that wants to go to Europe, hopefully this is close enough to the airport
Thank you for cache and robot lesson

After and event on the other side of the river and a bit of kayaking adventure I decided to see i I could claim some smilies on the way home.
Third time lucky at this one over about three years. Got a hint on the hide location at the event so put it on the to-do list. Happy to say I spotted something awry on arrival at GZ and had the cache to hand in an instant.
Glad to finally avenge the blue frown face that has been bugging me for a while.
the_robots I found your cache at 12:26pm, this was the 6th of 6 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5103. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Didn't take us too long to solve the puzzle and after a bit of a search we had the cache in hand.

Another solved puzzle so we decided to head down and perform our signing duties. WOW we never knew this little park existed, what a beautiful location, a favourite point for bringing us here today TFTC and the puzzle
We were attending a meeting close by, so I decided to make a quick detour to find this one that I have been trying to get to after solving it some months ago.
After conducting a quick search of the location looking for something out of the ordinary I soon spotted the anomaly and the cache was in hand.
A very quiet and beautiful spot, TFTC and bringing us here.

Had this one solved for a while now, so headed out today to finally get a smiley here. After a brief search we had the cache in hand and the log signed. Tftc robots.
I'm not much of one for puzzles. But after visiting the nearby EC I inexplicably clicked on the cache description of this closest puzzle and was pleasantly surprised. I knew almost all the answers without having to google. Admittedly there were a couple where I consulted Mr. Google but overall I was happy with the state of my S.F.knowledge.
Being a sci-fi junkie we were able to answer five of the six questions without any research. Once at the GZ like finders before us, we widened our search area and looked for something just a bit different. Bingo there it was. No signs of rust but we did disturb a colony of ants. TFTC
Magical location. Add fav for hide and location.
Out for a quick cache with Cravo10.
Really enjoy your hides the robots.

Solved some time ago, convenient to ride along river today. Nice camo, log is dry.

Another cache that was in the solved pile which I never seemed to get around to finding. Finally I had a chance to stop and grab it and managed to find without getting rained on. Lovely little spot and it took me a few minutes to notice something that blended in very well but maybe shouldn't of been there. A fav point from me TFTC robots
I looked at this puzzle when I first started caching nearly 10yrs ago and didn’t get much further then reading it. Fast forward a couple of years and I did attempt the puzzle and searched for the cache but came up empty handed. A couple weeks ago while looking at caches around my workplace i decided it had been long enough and the cache had to be solved came up with some coords and today I came to search and happy to say we came up with the find even if gz was 7m out (probably due to tree and cloud cover). Looking back on our first attempt at searching we were only 30metres out so we close but no cigar. Great Camo. Tftc.
After our Parisian trip in the first week of the Easter holidays, we (i and my husband Voske1967) went for 3 weeks to the other side of the world to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, food, landscapes and culture of Australia. Of course, geocaches were also searched for and found in Perth. This trip downunder will stay with us for a long time! It was pretty hot in Australia for the autumn season
I thought I solved the puzzle, but I was out a little. A short stroll around and I noticed something that matched but was a little different and sure enough I had the cache. Fitting location tftc
Yay yay yay! My third attempt to grab this - I can thank SharePoint wrestling today (brain fry) as I decided to get the bus out here early for a bit of peace and quiet and hopefully a battery recharge. No one about, which was definitely a bonus. Took a while to find it but well worth a new bout of Denghi Fever. Very satisfying to sign brand new log too. I had just put it back when after school hoards started to arrive. Now to wrestle with SP with renewed vigour!
We've replaced the actual container, and new log book. Please bring a writing implement to sign the log, and enjoy the location.
We've picked this up for much needed repairs. Hope to get it back in the wild within a few days. Camo still in great condition, just a small container rust issue to resolve.
Went with a smallish group of two cars to hit some more urban caches today. When logging part of the Boddington series, we realised most of our finds were in the same area, so we decided to hit a few other LGA's and this one was on today's list.
What a cool place this is! Was slightly concerned after reading previous logs and seeing the location that we were searching in. We all picked our spot, and the first place I looked at contained the cache! Thanks for the hide!

Solved this one a long time ago. In the area now, but worried about the last log but found within seconds. Cool hide!
Out and about for a few hours this morning chasing down the odd smiley or two. Been here before for a quick look. Had more time today and was conducting a systematic search when a family decided to set up for a picnic nearby.
I'll be back for another go in a year or so no doubt.
the_robots I couldn't find your cache, this was my 3rd DNF for the day. I did have 10 finds today so all is not lost.

My third hunt for this cache. Searching the whole feature at the gz looking for various types of camo with no luck. Is another hint out of the question?
I solved this puzzle in Adelaide prior to my trip to WA.
This afternoon I set out to find a few solved puzzles. It didn't take me long to notice the cunning cammo and logbook was soon signed.
The actual cache container is looking a little weathered, is falling to bits and would benefit from replacement. Logbook is damp but serviceable for the moment. The cammo is in good order though.
Thanks the_robots for the puzzle and the hide. Favourite point from me for the hide.

Liked the simple yet enlightening puzzle. Knew three of the answers off the top of my head but had to look into the others.
Another nice part of the cache is bringing cachers to this little area that I didn't know too much about despite driving by regularly.
Very grateful for the hint otherwise this could have been a nightmare GZ. Plugged away methodically getting nowhere when I decided to change tack, step back and look for something a little different. Happily this resulted in the excellent camo being discovered.
Definitely deserving of a fave. TFTC the_robots.

With a day out sans family confirmed last night I had a look what was in this area and enjoyed the quick puzzle solve.
After arriving at GZ I was glad for some cover from passing cyclists as I clambered around the area trying to get the find.
With my initial search area coming up empty I went slower and more methodical as I spread the search area out and after about 15 minutes was able to add my name to the log book.
Everything was in good working order and I replaced the cache as found. TFTC.

I knew on approach that I was in the right area. GZ had me in water, so I searched in places that matched the hint and previous logs, to no avail.
Seemed to be in the right spot, GPS jumping around. Lots of casual water lying around, but no cache for me today. Pity, I wanted to make this my 400th
Returned in the daylight for another go. Gps put me in a slightly different spot each time I checked it so I ended up searching most of the walkway. Found something curious that could be good cache camo - but no cache.
Figured this one out a few weeks ago and decided to drop by on my way home. Voracious mozzies and descending darkness meant no find today but I shall return soon.
Being a little too old to be familiar with more than a couple of these guys had us doing some online research before skipping over to Perth for this caching holiday. GZ seemed somehow appropriate and after checking here and there, we noticed one thing a bit different to all its friends. The cache was firmly in the grip of its host but yielded to some wriggling and jiggling. Thanks the_robots .
Solved this a few weeks ago and dropped in to have a look for the final on the way past this arvo. Arrived at GZ after a short stroll and checked a few spots but had to leave empty handed.
the_robots I couldn't find your cache, this was my 2nd DNF for the day.

Love Sci Fi, loved the puzzle, no need for Google or hints. However we were calling the CO all the names under the sun at the GZ. Took us ages but after Geohubby used some logic & spotted something that was ever so slightly different we changed to singing his praises. Until we lost the car keys that is, but that is another story altogether. Fav for the puzzle & Camo. TFTC
Trying to get a few cashes before heading back to USA and just could not locate this one... I searched the entire path

Found this cache on an early morning bike ride, having gathered the clues in research earlier in the week. Coordinates were spot on and the new tin was found within a few minutes of arriving at this gorgeous location. Thanks to the previous finder for replacing the cache container. Log book is still pretty dry and easy to sign, but may suffer if the area gets wet. I'd suggest it still needs a small ziplock back to really keep it dry. Camo for the cache was excellent and really blends in well. All very nicely done and another fav point given to this cache. Thanks for this cache the_robots.
Well after nearly 4 years since I logged a DNF I finally made a find even if I still needed to PAF to make sure of what I was looking for. Thanks arnott.family.
I gave it a new container and log book although the log book is not water proof.
Thanks the robots for the cache. It was absolutely stunning by the river today.

After attending the Point Walter event, we had time to find a few caches on the way home... This cache was solved many moons ago, but we have never been in the area to make the find! Although it was getting late in the day, we stopped by to find this one... Arrived at GZ to find a muggle sitting on the boardwalk talking on the phone, so we begun the hunt towards the other end After quite some time he eventually left & Jase crept further that way where he discovered the cleverly camoed cache [^]
Thanks for bringing us to this lovely location the_robots Sadly the cache all but perished & desperately needs replacing. If anyone is planning on visiting the cache soon, please take an eclipse tin/logbook

This one has been a bit of a bugbear of mine since about 2011 when I first looked for it. I had been hanging out with friends nearby and quickly decided to see if we couldn't answer all the questions and hopefully make the find. We did get the right coordinates, but couldn't locate the cache. I lost track of the coordinates, and had to re-solve the puzzle. I was in the area today so I made sure I gave myself some time to come and collect it. I got to GZ and had a fair idea of what I was searching for, but no luck in finding it. I had to resort to a PAF, and was pretty much told to keep doing what I was doing. After a more systematic search of the whole area (gps wasnt much help), I came across the well executed camo. The cache container is in complete disrepair, and urgently needs to be replaced. I will make up a replacement, and try to get back here as soon as I can to replace it. TFTC the_robots, glad to have found this one now. A fav point coming your way.
Cache container has succumbed to the elements and needs replacing... Rusty and no longer weather proof, it won't hold up much longer.
I wasn't hopeful of finding this one on my second attempt and was more concerned that I only had 5 minutes to really hunt, before I had to continue to the airport for the return trip to Brisbane... I had to have a go though, so after parking nearby, I made a hasty approach to GZ while the sun was only considering getting out of bed...
Torch in hand, I arrived at a familiar location but slightly different from where the GPS wanted my last time... Hmm... [?] I got stuck into the hunt and within 2 minutes, spotted the very nicely crafted cache... Aha I said, that is very well done... [^]
Sadly, the container is not in a good state and the lid won't stay in place. It is also rusty and has been hammered by the elements... It really needs replacing to stay in the game...
I added my name to the log and tucked things back the best I could. All done, I hot footed it back to the car and headed to my waiting plane...
Cheers Robots, the crafty design gets a favourite from me. It needs some TLC though...

Hmm, sneaky little blighter... It eluded me this afternoon. Hopefully I will get a chance to drop in again on my way to the airport on Thursday morning...
On the way to work today, I decided to stop past for one last look
A very systematic search revealed what I hadn't seen before
Cache on hand. As per previous logs, the container is closed to perished. Might bring another new cacher here and show them a good camo job and try to repair it.
the_robots I found your cache Karakuri Ningyo on 28/11/2014 6:14 am. This is my find #2298 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape. Thanks for the cache!

Found it with BissraVicky yesterday. The hint and GZ actually quite spot on. A clever hide and a nicely crafted cache but requires maintenance. The internal cache is very rusty and I was unable to write my log. TFTC and the puzzle!
Found it with BissraFranky. Nice crafted cached hidden right at GZ. Hints help. Cache needs maintenance though. Took photo to prove the found as unable to sign log. Another fave point towards you. TFTC
Had another look today with no joy

Pity. Such a lovely area. I saw some previous logs of the container in poor condition so hope it hasn't gone.
Will put on watch.

This is a subject that we know next to nothing about so it was off to see our friend Mr Google.
After a little while we came up with a set of coords and plugged them into Google Earth. We know this area very well and these coords were close but didn't seem quite right so it was back to the drawing board. A short time later we had another set of coords and this time we were reasonably confidant we were correct.
Thanks the_robots for an interesting cache and a good hide.

The cache container needs urgent maintenance, the lid is completly rusted away. Sorry we didn't have a replacement with us.
On the way to the airport with BettyBoo3747, just time for a few quick finds.
Looked for this one years ago, probably under similar circumstances (going to the airport, not much time!), but this time more successful.
A nice area on a cool morning.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6237. Our last morning in Perth and we are on the way to the airport. Time to gather a small number on the way.
This is a lovely park and it would be nice to see some water sitting at the stepping stones. There were ducks nearby enjoying their pond and rowers on the river practising their stroke. It was lovely being here before the hordes arrived and there was only one lady setting up for a party. The hide certainly had us bamboozled for a while but finally Rob discovered what we were looking for. Our names are now in the log and we left happy that we had added a smilie.

I like these non- cryptic puzzles and I didnt even need google for most of the answers here. Whoo hoo! Solved a few days ago and a nice camo to be found here. Never been to this park even though its right next door to my mother in law's apartment. Worth a fave point. Coords spot on too. TFTC
Quick find after the 11-12-13 event in South Perth. Was dropping Dimor off nearby so detoured for a quick hunt. A bit of a hot/cold game and I soon spotted something a little out of the ordinary and then had the cache in hand. It's very rusty, so definitely needs replacing. Thanks for the puzzle (which I solved months ago) and the hide.
This needs urgent maintainence as the lid has corroded and it broke off today.
We placed it back on but not sure how much protection, if any it will give.
Maybe also take a new logbook and ziplock in case current ones get damaged by nature

Having got muggle parther to help me solve this puzzle the other week in anticipation for me staying at my cousins nearby later in the week thought I may as well do it today since I was visiting my nearby cousin.
When I mentioned this had a Japanese name she knew exactly the place this cache was .
We went to location and while muggle partner did other things I went for a walk. I was hoping he would help me find the camo cache but when I got to gz it took a whole minute if that to find the it .
I just needed his help to open it, then the lid happened to break off as cache has corroded .
A quick sign of log then time to head the 160km home.
TFTC and bringing us to a lovely little park. Great camo too
We got to see a pelican on the sandbar close to shore. It didn't seem too worried about the human & dog in the water close by.

With a late start and the threat of rain, we endeavored to do some caching.
The rain held off as we rode our bikes along the path, by the river.
Solved this puzzle a while ago, in preparation for the hunt.
Turned up today, and after a short search, a well camouflaged cache was found.
Thanks for the hunt today, the_robots.

Getting everything logged from my recent trip to Western Australia. The first two weeks were slammed while I was on assignment but I managed to get out every day for a find or two. Got to visit some really remote places like Meekathara and Wiluna and got down to the beaches near Marybrooke and Naturaliste. For the few days I had to myself I hit the Wandoo, the Albany Hwy and the Southwest Hwy Series. So I covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of Western Australia. I had to get used to a lot of things, like driving on the left side of the road, give rather than yield, take away rather than take out and yes with a question mark is asking for conformation. Just goes to show we may speak the same language but words don't always mean the same thing. Sorry for the cut and paste nature of the logs but I have a lot to log and my sanity is important. Thanks to all the locals for the hospitality I was shown while there and thanks to the CO's for the hides, the fun and another smiley on the map. See you on the trail, and cache on!
Driving by and the TomTom notified me I had a solved puzzle nearby. Had to do a couple of laps waiting for a muggle eating lunch to move on but it was a swift find. The log holder does need replacing. Fav for the camo.
Had trouble with this one as my gps pointed me 2-3m off the path and in the wrong direction. Lucky I happened to spot it when I walked away a bit. Lid has rusted off.
Had this one ready to go ages ago, but could not get through the road works. Today it still required a u turn to get here. We enjoyed the location and the cache. the container is rusty, but the log is fine in its zip loc bag. Nice play ground near by for geo grandson. TFTC. Giving a favourite.
After completing QuickStep, it was just a hop, skip and a jump to get to this one. A very quiet, tranquil place to visit early in the morning. There is many potential hiding spots at the GZ and this one took me a while to find. Considering the hiding method I would suggest that the cache deserves a difficulty rating a little higher than 2. I had a lot of fun finding this one. Thanks the_robots.
Lovely Sunday morning by the river, good camp I looked past it several times before something clicked! Tftc
This cache caused me grief from the very start. I had two sets of numbers (pretty close together) but couldn't decide which was correct. Flew all the way from Brisbane and arrived near GZ to see construction fences stretching for miles . Figured I'd have to give this one a miss, so went to find the nearby (sort of) Commando. Couldn't find that, so decided to leg it to this one and see if I could defeat the construction fence. I did just that, after a 700 or so metre stroll beside your lovely river and spent quite a while not finding the cache at the calculated GZ [:(!]. Trying to stay calm, I went to my reserve GZ and found your very neatly hidden cache. I tell you, it was a relief after all the trouble. Oh yes, there were two motorcycle policemen chatting to the construction workers overlooking GZ as well. Now, who wouldn't want to go geocaching? .
Thanks for my first mystery cache in Western Australia.

I tried to publish a cache and this was the reply, "I'm sorry, but this spot is too close to the FINAL container of the existing "Karakuri Ningyo" cache, and will need to be moved." So, I had the heads up on where I needed to look, and obviously since I'd tried to use the location, I really love it. I wanted to retrieve my cache so took the opportunity to find yours. Your hide is fantastic. So brilliant in the way it blends in. Unfortunately it's not as well secured as I suspect it once was. The log was beyond use and the pencils were decaying. The inside of the tin is rusting. Despite this it remains a fantastic cache. I did my best to secure the cache, replaced the pencil and left a new log in a ziplock bag. With more storms on the way tonight, I'm not sure how this will help, but it was worth a try. Thanks for the great puzzle and cache the robots.
A favourite point from me.

Solved the puzzle a while back, thought I'd stop by. The recent storms had taken their toll on the surroundings; trees blow over the bath, all kinds of debris washed right up to GZ. Looks like cache may have been submerged for a while there, didn't even try to retrieve log out of plastic bag as it was soaking and would tear!
Definitely in need of maintenance, but should only be a dry logbook!
Great spot, nice puzzle, like the hide. Thanks robots

We were on a picnic in Maylands yesterday when this popped up on a 'find nearby caches' search. We solved the puzzle only to realise we were on the wrong side of the river! Determined to find it we grabbed the bikes today and after a bit of a search got it. Log was dry but had obviously been soaked recently because a few logs have been washed off. Tfth!
