Juhl and I were in London for four days and despite visiting all the famous sites we also found time to do a bit of geocaching on our way through the city. We found many great caches and all in good shape – what an achievement in such a busy city to keep these caches up to speed. Therefore we wish to thank all the cache owners for placing and maintaining all these caches. They were source of much joy and excitement.

Comments regarding this cache:

Juhl found this very quickly. I did not even know that we were looking for a cache! Big Grin It is indeed a lovely stroll along the bank. Thanks for placing a cache along the way.

Greetings from Denmark

Yes, we had a feeling it was missing as the obvious place was bare!

It may well be the best of the cache series I have seen so far too Very Happy Great location on the river and a top mix of the (very) old and the new. I like the effort put into choosing the locations for the series of Carry On caches. Cheers from Australia!

Thought I'd been quite subtle replacing cache until a muggle accosted me "What job do you do.mate?" Explained that I didn't work,so had to explain about caching.I don't think he had a clue what I was on about. TFTC

I fear this one has either fallen or cleaned up. I could see where it was supposed to be. Might be worth a check and/or replace.

An interesting part of history. Was rather worried that it is yet another piece of the world that we have stolen, but the inscriptions claim that it was given to us. Quite a story about it's journey to England.

Easy find with the clue.
Muggle central, on what must be one of the busiest roads in the UK, good job everyone is too busy living their own lives to notice anyone else.
SL TFTC.

I found the place a magnetic micro would be happy, but no keysafe. So I've replaced this cache with a temp 35mm somewhere fishy. If the owner checks & finds I somehow missed the original, feel free to let me know & I'll edit my log. TNLC! Thanks for a fun challenge.

Took a deviation on my route to work and had a stroll along the embankment. Came up trumps without much effort.

Many thanks for the hide, I've never actually stopped here before despite going past many times over the years.

Found on a 'day trip' to snow- and icebound London with the work social club...

An easy find since the cache's hiding space is empty and the cache was lying on the floor in the snow - and had recently been found by the local police1 (see the pic).

Tried to rehide as best I could but the Cache Owner probably should have a look at this one.

A woman hung around for ages at the cache site so eventually I left to begin Follow that Camel. On my way back the coast was clear and I was very surprised to find the cache hidden where it was given how it is fixed. Nice hide.

my first London cache, and I had to be stealthy as many muggles nearby, used the camera as diversion for the search, found then the even harder replacement move, had to pick my moment quickly
good start to the day, thanks.

Lots of muggles passing by so had to time the find when no one was coming. Very nice to walk along the river and find a few caches.
