Suscoe was out caching with our good friends Phetlern today around Wagga Wagga. It was a pleasant day in the low 20s with a mild breeze and lots of sunshine. We enjoyed the range of caches found today,Thanks to Fred6603 for this puzzle and hide. It has been on our to do list for a while. Glad we found it today.A favourite.
14:30With lots of corrected coordinates and green icons on the geo map, it is time for a visit to Wagga Wagga with Suscoe to clean the geoboard a little. The first day of our tour around Wagga Wagga with Suscoe finding a few Lab caches as well as geocaches. The weather was a lot more suitable for geocaching with bright sunny skies, unlike the previous day with rain, rain, rain. This was one of the caches we found, the majority being either bison tubes or eclipse mint tins, with the occasional sistema or berocca thrown in for good measure.Found the outer container quickly enough, but then the head scratching started. After a fair bit of fiddling the log was eventually accessed and signed - FP awarded. Our thanks to 'Fred6603' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38258*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
What a great cache! We found this one quickly, or so we thought, but that was only the beginning. It took quite a while to finally access the log as we twisted and turned and poked and prodded. A truly great innovative cache. Never seen anything like it before. A favourite from us. More power to you.We met up with good friends and caching buddies Roostaman, Mrs Roosta, and Rebel Acts on a beautiful day where there were clear skies and the temperature nudged above 20 degrees. There are a good lot of new caches in the area since our last visit so we have much to look forward to over the next few days. There were a couple of great and challenging hides today that we really had to work for.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Fred6603.**SKI Pair****
This was one of a few we found before heading off to meet up with some other cachers. Geoturtle37 and the ladies in their little puzzle group had solved this ready for this trip. Even then, they had to get a push from yet another person. Thankfully, the cache was no where near that hard to find. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
The ladies in our puzzle group had attempted to help solve this one but I still had to seek assistance from yet another cacher to finally understand how to solve it. Very clever in its simplicity and a favourite for me. Found the cache with nowhere near the same amount of trouble. Thanks for this clever cache.
A rather large day of caching in Wagga Wagga today. Last time I was here we looked at the Wiradjuri Trail with intrigue, but never got around to doing it. With the recent installment of a giant powertrail across the WT, I decided that it would be a wonderful day out to go and do it. Hired some bikes and a large amount of cycling later had me walking away with 50 finds (I think, I can't count idk). Thanks to ADAcache for the wonderfully maintained trail, not a wet log in sight! And TFTC to all other owners!A short comment for every cache is below:Solved the puzzle, sneaky. No idea how I solved the field puzzle, but I kind of prodded and poked and it fell apart. Took a while to get the logbook back in but soon got it all sorted. Favourite for the nice field puzzle and piece of variety! TFTC Fred6603!
Solved this riddle a while ago but finally got around to the stroll to find the device. Huntsman found a nice home with the cache! TFTC
After solving the puzzle, we came to GZ to solve another puzzle. Very clever. TFTC.
A very clever device at GZ. Once we worked it out, it was CIH. Great work. Have a FP. TFTC
Now normally in this situation this would be a Write Note. I found this with some friends who'd already solved the puzzle. I love puzzles, but I'm bad at them. So I had a look at this, expecting to put it on the list to sit with for weeks and maybe ask for a hint. I tried a few different answers based on reality and the possibility of a simple bluff. Of course they didn't work. And then I realised the puzzle looked familiar. I thought and thought, then I googled a phrase. Of course! I solved a version of this 15 years ago, when I was brighter and had time between lectures. They often say the devil's in the details, but sometimes it's in the vague bits. Some quick maths and I had the right answer. Okay, I technically had foreknowledge and I did use Google, but I'm still quite pleased that I solved a geocache puzzle the same day I saw it.But wind back. The actual cache. The last before a break and an afternoon event. Team Canary led me to the approximate location and we spread out. After a few minutes it was Team Canary who realised we'd walked right past the best hiding place, and sure enough he removed the contraption. We looked at it. The second stage was easy enough but the third gave us pause. Then a few parallel movements and we were able to sign the log.For elegant simplicity and a dash of deviousness, this is one of the best caches I've found in a while. Extra points for a genuinely hard puzzle that I still managed to solve.
#13,508 16:00Day 2 of the Geocaching NSW Expedition to Wagga Waggo. At the end of the day we visited this puzzle cache. What a great well-crafted cache! Worth a FP.TFTC!
This was on my list but I went for the solve to help an outstanding point.Took a couple of goes but the checker finally went green.Great container with only a little bit of moisture the log, a FP from me
Solved the puzzle mid last year in preparation for this roadie. Quickly found this cool container. Took a moment to work out how to get to the logbook though.
Over from New Zealand to attend the Rutherglen Mega. Now heading back to Sydney getting many caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache, Fred6603

From Euston to Wagga Wagga today, with a few caches in between, on our way to Sydney. Wanted to do the lake Albert walk&Lab, thought we might try to solve the puzzle. After a little hint, the puzzle was done and checker happy. It took longer to do the Lab than expected, but still determined to get this cache, we continued on. We finally found the path. Cache in hand within seconds of arrival, no problem opening it. Log full, so we added a sheet. Thanks Fredd6603 for the challenge.
We're starting to get the impression geocaching hides and secret photo shoots have something in common. When we saw people heading off with a chair, a ladder, a sheet and a look on their faces like they hoped we weren't going where they were, we knew we'd better find another way to GZ.
Fortunately there was another route and the cache was well away from the flapping sheet. A interesting gadget and our first Rubik's Tube solved. [^] TFTC Fred6603.

This one took us a bit to solve last night but signed log on way back home to tasmaina TFTC. The tube in a tube in a tube makes sense now.
Log only got 1 or 2 spots left.

Once we figured out the tricky word puzzle which took a few hours last night, it was a quick find. It was my first puzzling catch. Tftc:)
#6000.
Yay, I have slowly but surely crept closer to the 6000 mark and managed to finally reach this milestone. We were in Wagga for the day and I had a look at caches with favorite points near me and this one popped up. It was pretty cold today, but the whole family set off in search of this one. I managed to spot the interesting container rather quickly. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Down in Wagga for family Christmas and keen for a puzzle to fill the calendar I thought it about time to check this one. Mum came along for the adventure and we had the cache in hand in seconds except it was being so stubborn I wasn’t quite sure I had it right. A series of unhelpful PAFs and then a very help message to the CO and I knew I was on the right track. With the CO’s blessing we dashed home to give the cache and little love and presto soon had the log signed and was back out with dad to replace it. A very enjoyable family affair and a favourite for me. I was well amused that it was the middle tube that stumped rather than the intended inner one!
Thanks so much for a great puzzle upon puzzle upon puzzle. Thanks for the cache.

Called by here when we 1st arrived into Wagga But had a DNF butthought we had time to have a 2nd look.
Spoke to the CO & he suggested we take some WD 40 & do some maintenance. Yese we were able to open it this time & we carefully placed all the pieces in order so that we could reconstructed it correctly.
FP for a cache that is different.

Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache Fred6603!
Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
We had previously found Rubik’s Tube V, which made this one quite simple by comparison, taking less than a minute. Nevertheless a very nicely designed and constructed field puzzle that is certainly deserving of a favourite point.
Thanks Fred6603 for the puzzle and the cache.

It was my caching partner that had done the heavy lifting with this one but we were in the area and decided to swing past the gz and have a crack at it, the cache container was soon located and we soon had our name added on the log, nice work with this super cool cache Fred6603, thanks so much for the fun and the hide.
This was the first of a few "Fred" caches I found today with deshadybear! Huge thanks to Fred for keeping us interested, we focused on your hides for a little while after finding this excellent cache to keep us entertained rather than finding other less exciting caches!
A favourite from me, a very well built container, we were lucky it was somehow opened so fast by another event attendee we met at the cache!
Thanks

23,487. Found with minniek and Sui_001 after attending the nearby Community Celebration Event.
We headed down to Wagga today with a main aim of attending the neat Community Celebration Event. Once it was complete we headed off to grab some caches before we had to head home. This one was nice and close to the event and so it was next one to be found - and it was a mini-event while we were here ! Quick find at GZ. Then an even quicker opening of the inner container. That crosses off a previous DNF here several years ago. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Fred6603 !!

Headed to Wagga Wagga with fitzy_1965 and Sui_001 for a bit of caching.
After a nearby event we headed to this one next. Almost a traffic jam here lol. fitzy_1965 was glad to see a DNF turn into a smiley.

Having just attended the nearby event with Albida33 we stopped here to grab this cache. I was so lucky to be travelling with a previous finder as I wonder how I would have gone opening this incredible cache. The log now carries my name. TFTC Fred6603 A FP for the ingenuity and creativity of this homemade cache container. Great respect sir for your work.
So I said to Roosta, what is the best caches in Wagga that is not a driveby or a throw down. He suggested this one and another nearby. So after dinner, he showed me the puzzle to solve, after some tooing and froing, we came up with final coords.
I could see where it was going to be from a distance, pulled it out, along with a very angry huntsman.
As for the cache, was not sure exactly what to expect, but it was quite clever and well put together. Only took a few minutes to get and sign the log. Fav point for the amazing precision and effort that has gone into this one.

Solved this clever puzzle at home before we headed to Wagga for a long weekend.
Took the Jeep off road to make a quick grab of this amazing creation !
Unbelievable skill to create this tube.
I think we got lucky here and soon had CIH

OCW the Bebes. Worked out the coords back on Sydney before out trip down here for a long weekend. Got to GZ and quickly retrieved the cache. Opened and found the real puzzle. After about 5-10mins of trying we managed to get CIH. What a well made and clever cache. Fav point for me. Tftc
Wowwww. What an amazing puzzle. Working out the Coords, was one thing, and the coords, were spot on mind you, having the CIH, the easy part. Unscrewing the lid, yes, it was tight-ish. Hmmm. Now, looking at this shiny Stainless Steel item and trying to figure out how to open it / annoying puzzle, was quite the other. Being a novice at puzzles, and never seeing anything like this before, it really had me stumped. Arrrrrrrrrr!!!! It was only by chance that, something happened, and I finally, 50 mins later, figured it out. Sorry, no spoilers here, the rest is up to you to enjoy this awesome little mind %$"*, sorry, Awesome little puzzle. Enjoy! SL TFTH TFTC

Another nice set up, but we just couldn't get it to open no matter what we tried. In the end we used another tool - slightly longer to spring it open [^]

Goin on a cache hunt, goin on a Fred hunt. Out to get this one with [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG). I had finally solved this one after much anguish, I had tried this and that, finally I had to ask for help, and then got it. Then bingo the answer got a tick.
We headed out to ground zero and found its little hiding place, great little spot. I did look for the Babushka dolls mentioned in another log but cold not find them, anyways. Next we had to extract the log. We did this and that, we pull and pushed, screwed and wiggled, still go. Mumma decided to take over and after a while she got it.
I did like this puzzle it was a great one I did have a good look before I put it back together,I did enjoy it.
The cache was good condition, all is fine. We have found it, we put in our stamp, we replaced it where it was and now, we have logged it.
Thanks for the cache, Lil Donna & co

A fun puzzle which after a bit of thinking,
I only needed four checks of the checker to get the green tick
Stopping by GZ this morning,
I soon found this sturdy toob
I unscrewed the lid and out fell ...
... er ... what's this thing ?? [:o]
Guessing the logbook was inside the thing somewhere,
I began fiddling with it.
Finally !! 10 minutes of fiddling later and something happened
Now what ??
More fiddling and something else happened
Now what ??
Grrrrrrrrr !!!
Finally !!
The Eureka moment,
and I had the logbook signed
This cache is going straight to the poolroom [^]

Took me a week to figure out the riddle for this one. Eventually got it with the help of my step brother. The added puzzle when finding the cache was rather brilliant. Took one lucky move to solve it with the help of my family.
Used up a few brain cells solving the puzzle, wandered in the wilderness for a while finding the ‘box’ and then we were baffled. Nothing seemed to get us any closer to getting the log. One chance move and something gave us the clue we needed to finish the puzzle. Great cache - we had a ball!
Enjoyed the puzzle and after poking about in a few wrong places found the cache. Then the fun started. We thought we were so clever in solving Rubik’s VI but this one had us stumbled for a long time. Finally one thing came clear and the rest followed. Another more than excellent cache, thank you.
Found 12:05 11/6/18 with Simber15. What a great device. Took us a good few minutes to find the correct tool, after struggling with it for a bit. Thank you Fred6603 for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Wow. That was a good challenge for a mild winters morning! Started out with MrWindy announcing at breakfast he had solved the puzzle to reveal GZ. We grabbed a coffee and a hash brown and made our way to GZ. Located the outer tube quickly and after a few mins started to work our way inside. The last step involved a muggle (Mrs Windy) to spot the tool we needed for this last stage to access the paper log. Sometimes we can’t see what’s in front of us and a muggle is required. Haha. Happily added our names to the log and went off in search of the next challenge across the water. Thank you Fred6603.
Second and last find today. I solved this one a while ago. I found something that worked even though that wasn't the way to solve it according to a previous finder. (So there are two way of solving this puzzle.) Once at GZ I found the field puzzle quickly and soon after it was signed and replaced. Once again TFTC and another FP given to Fred6603.
I had the numbers sorted ready for this trip south but I knew we faced another test. We found something at GZ that was either a tool or was the cache, in which case we needed to find the tool. We couldn't be sure. It turned out that a few months of disuse had made the first move just a bit harder, but then it released and the game began. After quite a bit of head-scratching and failed testing, suddenly we had a log to sign. Awesome work demanding a fave! Thanks Fred6603.
Found during a Wagga Wagga road trip with AG27, FIJ, TikvaNZ.
I solved this puzzle so long ago that I can't remember how I did it. And my notes don't help me much. Of course with this type of hide, solving the puzzle is only part of the task to make the find. I had heard from AngelG27 and TikvaNZ just how hard this one was. On a previous visit they had DNFed it. This afternoon, we'd just had yet another DNF (this time at Swing into Wagga views) and I'd had a fall and cut my leg. So I wasn't feeling too good about the world. But with some teamwork and some persistence, we got the log book out eventually, and got our names in it. Then it was time to jump back into the geomobile and head for the next one on the run sheet for the day.
Thx Free6603!

On another D/T mission with ZQX, TikvaNZ and Fox in Jox to the Wagga Wagga area, this time a day trip. It was an early start from CBR, but also a relatively early return, so we had to be efficient in our finding of caches. It was another great day with some very fine geocachers, who I am happy to also call friends! I found 10 for the day, but also there were quite a few DNFs sadly. Thanks to all the COs for their caches which challenged us today in one way or another.
Seventh find of the day and very glad that TikvaNZ and I managed to avenge our previous DNF. This time the lid for the outer container was easy to open, and with contributions by all, we had the log in our hands in not too many minutes. The puzzle was actually a bit tricky as I had not come across that style before and I am not really good at these sorts of deceptions - a hint was needed to get the coords sorted. But a fav from me for all the fine work and the puzzle!

The 7th find on a day's caching trip to Wagga Wagga from Canberra with with AngelG27, ZQX and Fox in Jox. See previous DNF log. Thanks for the maintenance. This time we had no problem, accessing the cache contents, but it took a few minutes to get to the log. Very impressed with the engineering. TFTC.

A great day-trip to Wagga with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX to collect a number of high D/T puzzles, trads and multis. Returned with a good number of smileys, but also had a few DNFs along the way. We'll be back to address those!!
I had solved this one a while ago. Of course, this was only part of the solution. At GZ, TikvaNZ and AngelG27 were eager to avenge a previous DNF and this time the issue that prevented them accessing the container was not an issue. Once the Tube was in hand, we gathered, tried, conferred, tried again and then gradually got to the log. A nicely constructed puzzle. A favourite. TFTC Fred6603

After a day out with friends I decided to head to this one to try my luck again. It was an interesting puzzle and after doing a couple of the others I wondered what was in store with this one.
Once at GZ the cache container was quickly in hand but that's as far as I got. It didn't matter what I tried I wasn't getting to the log.[B)] So with the help of a local friend we fixed the problem and a bit of this and that and I had the log in hand. I need to eat my weeties!
Now to reverse what I had done and at one point I wondered if I was going to make it but once I held my tongue in the right spot everything was back in place ready for the next intrepid finder.
A favourite point given.

A mini posse comprising Fox in Jox, Noikmeister, TikvaNZ, ZQX and I headed south on a wet Saturday to grab the 9 tree climb caches at Walla Walla and few more around Wagga Wagga on our way north again. We had a selection of preferred DT and puzzle caches in mind. We did not find all of them, but we had great time anyway. I ended up with 3 DT caches I wanted for the day. After ZQX and Fox headed home early, the rest of grabbed a few extra caches to round out the day.
This was another puzzle set as homework for the posse, and we ended up with good looking coordinates - although for me it took a hint to get there. At GZ we found the container, but could not break into it. A hint from a previous finder (and the CO) suggested we were on the right track, but it was just too tough for us on the day. I will come back and have another go next time I am passing through. Thanks anyway Fred6603.

Today's caching mission with Fox in Jox, AngelG27, Noikmeister and ZQX had been in the planning for a while, with the aim to collect a bevy of high difficulty/terrain caches to fill some holes in our respective D/T grids. We left Canberra just after 0630, arriving in Walla Walla just after 1000. We had some rain on the way but all was clear by the time we started caching. After completing the Tree Climb series we started the journey home via some caches to find in Wagga Wagga.
Solved in preparation for the trip - a joint collaboration with AngelG27. But we just couldn't open the cache.

We were in town for a few days to wisit our adopted family the Hinks, The cace was found in the company of the Hinklinator and Crazy Nat Girl. Well it has taken me some time to final get around to finally logging these, I had the Puzzles solved when they first came out but then they got pulled for the Mega, previous trips we were flat out doing Munzees, this trip we set aside several hours to spend on what have to be some of the best caches around. Thanks Fred6603 for the cache.
This thing was a pain to find.. until i thought about the name, The GPS was very inaccurate here though
Apologies for the late log. I found a list of caches that I had found and not logged.
I met my son in Wagga for a days geocaching.
Thanks Fred for the hunt and the location .

Wagga & The Rock December 2014. Sol de Lune suggested a trip west to get caches we both had not done concentrating on some of the Wagga Multi's that have evaded us over the years. We had a successful trip culminating with the event at The Rock. Thanks to all the locals who helped us when we cried for help. This was my second try at opening this one, and today I saw something critical, and something else I felt sure should come off did this time, after that, well ... whalah !! very happy. An amazing amount of work has gone in to this and thanks for all the effort. Thanks.

Camped at the show grounds, while picking up a few caches in the area.
It took Geo-wife some time, to solved the page puzzle.
Geo-hubby worked on the field puzzle and had the log out in seconds.
Thanks Fredd6603 for another great puzzle, a favourite point from us.

Hide was clever but easy..again its not just finding it..is it lol got it apart..after awhile but putting it back together was a challenge! Again great cache my poor brain hurts!TFTC
The long weekend has arrived for us Canberrans, so what better way to spend it than to team up once again with Rapidlywild and set off for Wagga and surrounds for what was to be another epic geomission?
RW did the driving-so we just had to make sure she was topped up with water and “Mother” from the esky to keep her going safely, whilst I provided the entertainment lol [:O)] We had a great day’s caching on Saturday, and Sunday’s effort ended in an epic 22hr day at 7am Monday when we arrived back home with a swag of finds and big caching hangover lol. Craziness! [:O)]
Worked on the puzzle with RW before the last trip to Wagga that I was unfortunately not able to join in on So now on our return trip, it was my turn to collect on another famous Fred container
Once at GZ it was a quick find of the container, then it was a little while of fiddling, cursing and twisting to finally retrieve the log...yes! Log duly signed, then I went to work on reassembling the container...FAIL! For the life of me and RW, we tried to put it back together again but out of fear of damaging any of the parts, we have contacted the CO to apologise and to reassamble.
Thanks for the awesome cache Fred6603-fave from me

Another phenomenal Fred6603 puzzle conquered! Cache was being guarded by a huntsman and her babies, but they couldn't deter us! This masterful mechanical marvel took a few minutes to reveal it's secrets but due to our experience with others in this series we had been mentally preparing for the challenge and before long we had the deviously concealed log in hand. TFTH!!
Well it was Mission: Wagga Wagga time again. The original plans were for Boot65, specimenX and myself to go and attack Wagga Wagga and crack some of those puzzles that we have been working hard on solving. Unfortunately some circumstances changed which resulted in specimenX being unable to attend this weekend. So an inpromptu phone call was made at the 11th hour through to FurfacesLL to fill that 3rd spot in the motel room. After some quick sweet talking, we had FurfacesLL lined up and ready to join. Oh the fun is about to begin......
It was an action packed weekend for sure. We had a large number of laughs and wore ourselves out to the brink of passing out. Our adventures ranged from nice simple traditional 1/2 star finds right through to a full blown 5/5!! There was manic tree climbing (by monkeyman Boot65), Cliff climbing, canoeing, trying to crack open some very well constructed caches (often resulting in 3 "tools" getting frustrated and then all laughing at each other as it all comes apart so simply) and some long night adventures till early hours of the morning.
With WP1 of the 5/5 marked off on Friday and WP2 collected on Saturday, we headed out after about 4 hours sleep for another attack on Wagga Wagga. We headed off to the Cache Café for a smoothie to kick us off for the day. We met up with Roostaman for a meet and greet before beginning our tackles. Today we collected the remaining WPs for the 5/5 and made it to GZ. Wow what an adventure!!!
Solved the puzzle from home in preparation for these caches. Once again, we surely were not disappointed with the cache container. Took some thinking but eventually the opening process came to light. logging duties completed and it was time to move on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Fred6603 - Another fav from me

2655. Yet another marvellous creation. Yes us lucky cachers get to find these things in the wild. Found with Rapidlywild and FurfacesLL on are Wagga visit. These all exceeded our expectations, although the CO may have been cursed at on more than one occasion. We were so close, yet so far.
Thanks Fred6603 for the cache and the head scratching and thanks for putting it near a shady tree. A chair or two would have been great.
Booo to all the finders that haven't given this a favourite. (Am I allowed to add that)

On a impromtu caching trip to Wagga with Boot65 and Rapidlywild we decided to attack another Fred6603 cache, although knowing what we were going to be in for I am sure we were all a little hesitant.
After locating the outer container we decided to try and crack this one in the shad of a tree close by. We could see that we were install for another unique cache solve which would have us scratching our heads for awhile before we eventually worked it out.
Thanks again Fred6603 for another amazing cache. You are a well welcomed gift to the caching community!

After driving to southern Sydney Friday on a work trip I'm heading home via a couple of days in Wagga.
Today was a day to knock over the new power trail along with a few other caches in and around Wagga.
Yet another nasty Fred puzzle that took a bit of thinking and a bit of maneuvering to open. Very well designed and constructed and worth a favorite point.
Thank you for the cache Fred6603.

We had a fantastic afternoon cycling around the lake, and stopping for a few of Fred's magical caches. If we had just found one, it would have been well worth the effort of cycling to it, but to find 3 made it an exceptional afternoon.
This was the first, and perhaps the most straightforward. The puzzle had me going for a bit until I realised what it was all about. After liberating the outer cache container from its home, we took it to a shady spot. Geoson and geodaughter started fiddling with the contraption while I was making sure that no bits were lost, and they prodded here and there and revealed the log quite quickly.
A very well made container and great fun.

Another great cache! I always regretted that I found about caching soon after my father-in-law died. He was an engineer, and had an in-home workshop with every tool you could imagine, including lathes, a drill press, kilns etc etc. He would have loved to have made caches like you are.
This puzzle was solved by GeoDaughter - she got it straight away, after I struggled.
Again, I was sent to run to GZ to recover the puzzle. Once more it was handed over, and once more it was a pleasure to open.

This was our last chance to do some caching in Wagga Wagga before heading back home and I'm glad this was on my list! My GPSr had me going bush a bit but soon got to the right spot. Another superb container and the smell of the oily bag took me straight back to first year of engineering in the lathe workshop! Classic stuff Fred6603, thanks for the fun!
Our first Fred6603 geocache so we opened the box with with great excitement. We were not disappointed and had a very enjoyable finding some more. An ideal geocache for an engineer on holiday! A favourite point from us.
Masterfully piece of work. We are so privileged to have been able to do these caches, what an education we are getting on what can be achieved in the caching world. Tftc
Wanted to have a go at this one since my last visit to Wagga found the time today.....worked out the co-ords and moved out to the location, found the cache and moved to a better spot to crack it open. [^] it was easier than I had imagined it would be TFTC Fred6603 will give this a favourite [^] well worth the effort
Found on a very hot windy day. Container is a classic, but did find the way to open and log the find. TFTC.
With this being such a great cache, we had 15 mins spare so took Justz_1, a new cacher, to have a crack. Sad to see that she got this one pretty easy. Looks like it has become worn & easier to open then when we attacked this one. This has taken some of the challenge out of such a great challenging puzzle cache. Thanks again for all the work that has gone into these.
Last Wagga day trip I found almost 50 caches… But, truth be told, many of them were very average!
So this Wagga day trip, I decided to choose quality over quantity! Only found 7 caches, of which 6 were “Rubik’s Tube” caches! (The focus of this trip! - Well, other than visiting my wife's sick Aunty). I had heard so much about these, and I had seen some of Fred6603’s work before, so I was determined to tackle these!
What else can I say! Cool! This was another fantastic engineering masterpiece! I could probably have spent ages on this, but with a little experience under my belt by now, I recon I had this open within about 10 minutes! Gotta love it! Have taken some photos to show the kids! (Won’t publish them here
Incredible – thanks again Fred6603.

racked our brains trying to figure out the trick, then there it was and we were off. had a lot of trouble opening the container to access the puzzle but all was well in the end. TFTC
Solved the puzzle for a visiting friend some months ago, and it's been sitting in our database ever since. The puzzle came apart surprisingly quickly - a little bit too quickly actually. We suspect there's some wear and tear on this one, might be worth the owner having a look. Great way to end the series, though. TFTC Fred6603.
Finally had the chance to attempt one of Fred6603 caches in this set of tubes.
First of 2 done today. On completion I started to get an idea of the mechanical ideas you use.
Hope to get through the series now!

Puzzle solved before we left home and once at GZ, McPhan came up with the find. From there it was a matter of checking, looking and then cheking again. A good 5 minutes later and the cache was open.
Another great little container....but still a few to go yet.

I think this was my favourite of this Rubik group, which we attempted late on a very chilly afternoon. A Fred6603 cache never disappoints and always stands out from the crowd - thanks Fred.
These caches were favorites of the trip, love the workmanship and ingenuity!
This one had us going for about 10 minutes, till SolDeLune came up with the trick.
Love your work. Thanks for the cache.

4516. [green]Took a while to twig to the puzzle and even after I explained it to the kids they never twigged (which is a good clue for Tatton Saint BTW). Anyway another puzzle conquered and so far Sol is safe. We did take a while with #3 though as they were back here when we pulled up.
TFTC and the Cube. (In fact you're evil enough to have had something to do with that movie.)[/green]

Wow this is incredible. Solved the first puzzle easy enuf. But the cache itself had us wondering for a while. Team effort to crack this one. TFTC Glad to get one of these Rubik's done.
