Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

I was coming all this way to leave without signing the log so I grabbed my trust sharpie and headed up. Phew really needs replacing.
We stopped to have a look at this one for the second time. As noted by others, it's wet and stinky inside. We didn't try to pull anything out.
On a drive Easter Saturday, Great views and drive. Message sent to owner log wet
Our last cache for the day.
The log book is wet and rusty and will need to be replaced.
We managed to avoid the plants with the spikes here.

NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and I had planned for an awesome weekend adventure at Larapinta Falls. But instead.... we ended up at the Bunya Mountains due to the weather.
Yes it was to be a very wet one from Sunny Coast to the border and beyond, and west, but we were determined to enjoy our weekend... maybe just not in tents.
Waking this morning, the weather seemed reasonably clear, so we headed off on our alternative adventure.
Our last cache for the day. We pulled up the geomobile then headed over and up to make our find. The logbook was very soaked and quite smelly.
Thanks for the cache Speedmistress.

With my new swag to test out, an overnight camp in the Bunya Mountains with plenty of bushwalking to find all the great caches on offer seemed ideal. After heading up the mountain it was part way back down again to find this one. Some searching was needed but it was eventually spotted. Seems I found the old container, not sure where the new one is.

Headed back down to thicker,
more breathable air today,
I stopped by this spot
A scratchy stroll took me to GZ,
where I soon found the sad remains of a once proud cache [:o]
Not too worry !!
The logbook has dried out,
and I had a new container with me to replace the olde,
smashed up version

Found with the geo-crew during a Sunday morning visit up the mountain. The log was still wet. Many thanks Speedmistress
Found this on my way up the hill today. Container is broken, log is soaked. Needs maintenance urgently.
Parked in the nearby pull off area & made our way up to the cache. As previously noted container is broken & log is soaking wet. A lovely drive through a beautiful area today! Tftc Speedmistress xo
TFTC. Having a great day out in the mountains with lcoll112. Cache no longer water tight as lid has cracked open, signed log as best we could. Log saturated and had no spare.
Floating around the area while we wait for the event in Toowoomba on 15th October. Have had scratchy internet since we arrived on 10th October, so late in logging. Have been around this area previously and found some of the caches. Now, catching up on the missed ones.
Sent Mr D up the hill for this one, found, then I had to toss up my pencil case so he could sign the log. I think it took me longer to throw the bag up than it did for him to find the cache. Thanks Speedmistress.
PS: What is the reference to a "Load of old Cobblers"? I don't understand.

Morning drive to find some nearby caches! First for the morning! Container lid is cracked and log book is wet. Beautiful morning - birds signing, wallabies jumping around!! TFTC
We got up this morning at 4 o'clock and drove all the way from south of Logan to the Bunya Mountains, revisiting the area after 25 years. Geodaughter loved the many wallabies and took plenty of photos. The cache was located quickly, signed and replaced. TFTC
After a fantastic day at [Rural Challenge 2016](http://coord.info/GC6FDQE) yesterday, Team Canyonero still had daylight to put to good use. Fangsoki at the wheel and Crew153 in Command central headed this way, and first on the way was .... hey I know this CO, we found one of hers yesterday. It was still early, but with various GPSr units struggling to find satellites it took us a few moments to sort out brush from destination - but there it was in due course, so duly signatured.
Thanks for placing this cache, Speedmistress. Found in good condition.

After spending the night in Crows Nest after the 2016 Rural Challenge Event Fangsoki, Pprime and I headed to the Bunya Mountains for some caching.
This one appeared on the GPS as we were passing so we decided to check it out.
We found a reasonably easy route to get to the area and then it took a few minutes to locate the cache.

Fund at 1348. Found while on a geocaching expedition in my favourite region for a couple of day. A nice and easy find while heading up to tha Bunya Mountains. TFTC.
On my rather last minute road trip, I decided on heading up this way as I love the Bunya Mountains and have wanted to return many times but just never had the opportunity. Today I was flying munchkin free with only Jelly the Wonderdog as company. I know that domestic animals are not allowed in national parks so that made my choices of caches limited. While I went to hunt for the few I could find "road side", Jelly happily waited for me to return in the shade.
This one was a nice easy find after I battled the thorny bushes on the way to GZ, but they were nothing compared to the crazy flora I ran into later on in the day. I left my mark and replaced the cache as found.
Thanks for the cache Speedmistress

We are finally able to spend some time to catch up on logging our cache finds from over the last few months. After a very difficult 2015, we were spending the New Year weekend in the Bunya Mountains with an eclectic bunch of cachers. New Year's Eve was spent playing a silly game and after much hilarity and seeing in the new year with sparklers and very little sleep, we spent the next few days wandering along the various tracks.
We had a terrific time exploring this area and with our name in the logbook, we were off to find the next cache on our list.
Thank you Speedmistress for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Stopped in the pull off and Mr LLJ went wandering off.....I was distracted by some unusual bird cries. It took a while but then I spotted the wedged tailed eagle atop a dead tree being bombed by a very flighty, hyperactive willy wagtail AND a pair of crested hawks - some call them Bazas.
WOW what an experience. [^] [^] [^]
Thanks for allowing us a reason to stop Speedmistress. A great bonus, plus we signed the cache. [^][^]

My last cache for 2015. Stopped on the way up the hill with Mrs Lat&Long. We went searching, found the cache and signed out names. Back at the car, we had a delightful nature experience. I'm sure you'll read and see the details in her log. TFTC.
Stopped for a quick bite to eat and then went and got this cache. Nice area, great scenery. TFTC
Another weekend caching adventure with Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and TCC, this time we were headed off to the Bunya Mountains, travelling up via Esk, Blackbutt, Yarraman and Maidenwell. After setting up camp in amongst the grazing wallabies at Dundabah, we headed out for a few night-time caches to end off the day. Crookedpete was a previous finder of this cache so he and TCC remained in the toasty warm car will Swellerfungus and I prowled around in the dark for some time before we eventually spotted the cache which we had managed to walk past. At least we didn't attract any cobblers pegs to our clothes. TFTC
On a weekend in Bunya with SNJ, Crookedpete and TCC we arrived and set up in the Dark. After a hearty dinner we set off for a few of the easier to get to caches before bed.
Our last for the day and a fun one indeed. Made infinitely more difficult in the dark, eventually SNJ made the find! Phew! Now...how to get out of here????
Thanks Speedmistress. Cache container is beginning to crack - bit still dry and ok.

Great little find on our way home from the Bunya Mountains. GPS was a little bit out but soon found it.
Took us a while to work out where this one was as no gps coverage. Easy find once we worked out general location. Tftc
Find number 1 of 4 for the day. We found 4 this day that were along the road on our way to Dandabah. We had a bit of fun scrambling up the bank to get to this one. TFTC Speedmistress
Heading off to visit family after a wonderful overnight stay here, we stopped by to grab this cache.
Mrs Parko went one way and Mr Parko the other and we met up at the cache for a quick find.

After starting the day with Kestal at 4:30am and five walks totalling 14km, we were looking forward to going home. Kestal has found all caches in the area now and I had just three to go. She convinced me to stop here and am glad I did as after the scramble up it was a quick find...two more to go now!! Thanks Speedmistress.
On a geocaching weekend around Nanango and Kingaroy with Richmond Lad. I hope to find some that I have missed on a previous trip earlier this year. After a long search by Richmond Lad it was decided to call it a DNF. Maybe another time.
Managed to pull off road very close to gz. Geolze scampered to gz and quickly signed before any traffic came. TFTC
The very last one for us in the Bunya Mountains today as we grabbed this one on our way home! I tried getting to this one from one direction unsuccessfully and then ventured in from a different angle with a lot more luck. TFTC Speedmistress
All set for a super long week-end in Toowoomba from Friday until Tuesday.
I am in town to find all of the new caches in the area since I left town year ago.
Today's mission was to find a few of these in the Bunya Mountains. [^]
I just followed the GPSr to this one. It was fully exposed so I covered it over with a few thing.
Thanks for the cache.

A lovely way to end the Easter holiday, geocaching with the family. Left collapsable pen as there wasn't one in there.
Captain Terror and I were up camping at Westcott with Herbz and Fangsoki for the weekend. This morning the other guys went off to do a walk and the Captain and I decided to stick around and find a few caches on the roadside.
So we jumped in the Herbz-mobile which is quite fun to drive around in and headed down the road towards this cache. We parked the car in the park opposite the cache and headed over on foot. The Captain didn't want to take my straight there route so he chose a easier path. Soon at GZ and the cache was spotted quickly. Captain Terror signed our names in the logbook and headed back down the quick way. Thanks for the cache Speedmistress and Griz066

After camping the night up in the Bunya Mountains with Fangsoki and Herbz, Net88 and I decided to break away while they did a hike and go for a drive to do some other bits and pieces. Finding this geocache was among them. I was surprised to see I have a DNF on this geocache from the first time I visited. I have no memory of having been here though. Oh well.
We blasted down the road in the Herbz-mobile (and what fun it is to drive) and pulled up in the parking area across the road. Net suggested I take one route up, but I could see something a little more - possible. I came to the right area and spotted the container after a brief look. Not sure where I was looking last visit. I added the names to the logbook before replacing as found. Then, after a car or two had passed I took the quicker, gravity assisted way down to the road. TFTC Speedmistress and Griz066

Off on a mad adventure again for a few days. Heading towards the Bunya Mountains to clear out the caches there, and maybe find #4000 along the way. My very scenic route took me on quite an interesting tour of the surrounding area as a weaved my way towards my goal.
Almost at the goal. Finally near to the location I was aiming for and 11 finds to go. This one took a bit of finding. The hint is not exactly helpful, and I was looking for something much larger. I eventually caught a glimpse of the edge of the container. Phew!

We searched for this one for quite awhile. There appears to have been a bit of a landslip down onto the road. May be AWOL.
Found this cache after a quick search. Took some time to remove some of the cobblers too. TFTC!
Very misty and damp at the top of the mountain this morning. I decided on a drive down through the moody Bunya Pine forest to the bottom of the mountain to start the days caching at this cache.
Once I found a safe park, I pondered the likely location and in the absence of any geo trail, I pushed my way through the thick scrub to GZ. A bit of a search and I soon found the container. I briefly considered a more direct route back to the car, down the embankment, but thought better of it.
And yes, some cobblers pegs to start the day. Thanks for the cache, Speedmistress.

On an Easter Weekend Trip to the Bunyas with The Green Gecko's, we got some caching done. This was one we attempted.
We had a good old dig around for this one but couldn't find it.
In the end we had to abandon our search in favour of safety (muddy slope because of the heavy rains overnight) and concerns that the roads where getting flooded in spots.

On our way home, and with heavy rain the night before, we searched for this one but just couldn't locate this one.
Quick easy one to start the day. We parked down a bit and walked back to it and left geokids sleeping in the car which we could see from gz.
Both Geowife & I looked extensively (though mostly independently, as someone had to babysit the geokids in the car) for this one, with much kicking around in the dirt and poking with my stick. But all to no avail. A GPS which was all over the shop in no way helped our cause
Kind of found by accident. Kicked cover off and found a top looking at me. Eatmorchikin had been out looking for this one and had given up. Using clue I thought it won't be where you would think it should so I looked wider and literally stumbled upon it. TFTC...great to be able to do some caches whilst in the Bunyas on holiday....eatmorchikin & Stigglepot
Thanks to my wonderful wife and her sharp eyes we found this one. Of course, I was almost standing on it and couldn't see it as usual.
We found this one as part of a brief introduction to geocaching for some friends of ours who are now new geocachers - BigScotty04 - good on ya.
I must be gifted at navigating the bush, 'cos I was the only one not covered in cobbler's pegs. Thanks speedmistress.

Well... the covering had moved off the cache so it was an easier find. As noted in another log is about 7 meters farther up the hill from gz.
The third cache to find on this rainy day. Bit of a challenge getting up the hill in the mud for us. TFTC

1435hrs. It don't know if we would have found this cache if Griffo hadn't disturbed the covering. A bit of a scamble in an out of the way place. TFTCSL
The hint is correct. Not an easy cache to locate. Luckily I managed to disturb the covering and the Green team walking behind spotted the cache.

Didn't expect to need crampons and ice axe for this one. Spent quite a while clambering around within about 10 metres of supposed gz, but came out empty handed.

Arriving at ground zero i was not expecting to clamber through bush.
After searching GZ (well where my GPS put me) & a 2 metre radius i came up empty handed & frustrated.
A wider search higher up reavelled the cache. (GPS had me 7 metres from GZ)
But along my journey to find this cache i had dropped my pen. (GGGRRRRR)
After back tracking a few short steps I came across it. (Thankfully)
Geohound visited site from the safety of the car. Please be aware no dogs are allowed within the Bunya Mountains.

Oh the approach to this one.. it was somewhat awkward. Thankfully it was not a busy day for traffic. I led the charge up and searched GZ. Thankfully Gaz found the cache after a small hunt and it was in good condition. I dropped in a trackable. Of course we found a better way back to the car! TFTC Speedmistress
We know why the cache is so named as we got nailed by cobblers pegs finding this one. Spent a long time scratching around at what we thought was GZ but then went a bit higher and bingo. Certainly not obvious but a nice hide. Cache still nice and dry. TFTC
Toowoomba 10.10. This one hadn't been found for ages, but I thought I would give it a go. GZ was a bit awkward and there was a good pile of stuff on it, but it was there and in pretty good condition. Thanks.

My compliments to the cache owner and last hider, because I found this a most not-obvious hide! My GPSr's GZ was mostly 7 to 10 metres away. While I was signing the log, I watched the GPSr cycle from 7 metres to 21 to 5 to 15 to 1! TFTC Speedmistress.

Sometimes yr gps is spot on and sometimes it's a mile off and how do you know when to trust it and when to follow your gut feeling, or, follow your gut feeling BY following your gps......I guess you just don't know til you find the cache.
In this instance, with so many cachers in such close proximitry and competition running high, i just put the blinkers on and blindly followed my little e-trex (at a very brisk walk) Took me straight to the cache which unfortunately was almost completely exposed. We signed the logbook @ 2-35pm and made sure it was completely hidden when we left. TFTC

Found at 1435 with Loupyloo.
We pulled over the Geomobiles across the road and Loupyloo was off like a rocket with Mr Simia and the Geodaughter snapping at her heels.
