Came to replace the cache today but the rest of the camo had been removed so had nothing to attach PVC cap to. Decided to leave this rest spot open for another cachet to place one.
Found the clever hide but there's nothing under the hat. Sadly seems to have been muggled.
Sorry but this one is down for a few days as cache has gone awol!
Gotta wonder what the muggle who took this one was thinking.

It was getting late but the area was quiet but I couldn't find the cache. I did find what looks like clever camo but there was no cache inside it. Will try again another time.
Love it! Luckily one of us tripped over it, otherwise we would have missed it! Very sneaky hide!
I liked this hide. Even with a few other vehicles nearby you can grab this one easily.

Found this cache at 10:30am. Time for a cuppa. at "Mells Rest" Very cold even with the sun shining.Worked out were the gps took us, then had a cuppa some workers were in there truck watching. The Male Bushie went for a stroll and a consentrated loook and came back with it in his hand. A very crafty camma.
Took: 50C 2003 coin
Left: 50C coin 2006.
Thanks Latanzi for the hide.

Found cache in a downpour which i suppose made it easier cause there was no one around. Great hide
The light of day had definately gone by the time we logged this one @ 1807 with Triple-GGG.
Today was the first real test of the Magellan Explorist GC for us and it had proven a great success.
With this cache we just followed the description straight to the cache. Found by Mrs Simia and we also got some great photos of a nearby spider.
I really think the Stop, Revive, Survive type caches are extremly vaulable and make for a great Road Trip. TFTC

Full marks LATANZI - what a great hide! We pulled into the Rest Area to find another couple taking photos of their car - so we made use of the facilities while they drove off. A truck driver parked further off didn't bother us. We followed our GPS to GZ and said "Surely that can't be the cache?" but it was! Loved the fact that the council have even mowed all around it! TNLNSL TFTC
Quick find with not many other places it could be. There was a couple of muggles sleeping/hiding in their vans but they didn't emerge. Good place for a quick break from the trucks on the highway. TFTC.
Had to time the retrievl as there was a few muggles in the vicinity but some simple teamwork and cover did the job. Nice hide. TNLNSL TFTC latanzi. [395]
The summary.
Today we did a push from Newcastle to Taree and back, the tally for today - 20 caches (two needing maintenance), 37 degree temperatures, a scrub tick, a bruised knee and a cut finger. Sounds like a typical day caching ...... with fun had by all.

Easy find after a hard days driving. Took hand left a defending soldier. Needs a pencil.
Loved it. Max had no idea although he was almost tripping over it. TNLN. Thanks.
this cache was a cracker. great hide! but it wasn't good enough for geoson he took advantage of the clue and walked straight in and found. took a geocoin hoping to move it on. TFTC and again GREAT HIDE!
Spotted GZ from the car... but I still love this type of hide. Muggles around but a quick game of cap frisbee gave me the cover I needed to make a grab

Stopped in and dropped a couple of TB's off for the happy travelling cachers. Have Fun
11:40am. ha ha ha.. love the creativity of some of the Cachers!
GPS told me it was there but I was under cover as the rain was heavy. Looked and thought - No it couldn''t be there as nothing was out of place.
Walked over and well... brilliant Latanzi.
Still smiling back in Sydney
Put contents into a snap lock bag.

Another excellent quality Latanzi hide. I must admit that I knew where it was immediately, but I love how these hides can be made right under muggle noses without anything looking out of place
Thanks Latanzi

Awwwwwwsome,,,, this is a great hide, I am amazed about the imagination of some hiders. We walked past it quite a few times until I thought it can't be and well it was... fantastic. It was a team effort as Soccerpride was with me
SL an returned it for the next victim

Finally got this on my 3rd time stopping by, the 1st time I looked I thought that might have been where it was but didn't check due to muggles watching over me, second time the same thing happened + heavy rain.
Brilliant hide

Stopped for a rest break and thanks to Geocache Navigator telling me this cache was only 30m away I couldn't resist finding it despite my other half's complaints. "But you found one yesterday!" [:(!]
This was a nicely hidden cache. Been a while since I saw some effort put into a clever concealment so it was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for the cache!

Brilliant Latanzi. A great hide. It was obvious as you walked up to it but a muggle would never look there. Stopped in on the way home from holidaying at Forster. TFTC

This was cache # 1 of 11 for the day, on our way south to Merrimbula, the cache was found at 0630. A great spot to stop for a rest and a great cache that fitted in so well to it's surrounds. Thanks to LATANZI for the cache.
Well done Latanzi on a very clever hide, although it is very obvious to a cacher, muggles walk right past it! Fortunatly there was no-one around.
Pulled up and had the place all to myself. Spotted it straight away. TNLNSL, thanks Latanzi.
It was raining today so there were no muggles about.
Excellent hide. This was my first of three finds today used to break the drive. TNLNSL. T4TC.

The best time to attempt a rest area cache is in the rain. There was one car of muggles but they were up the other end and I could easily grab the cache without being seen and get back on the road.
Thanks LATANZI for the cache and the clever hide.

1350 On our way to Nelson Bay for a great cache trip. Almost took a snake with us.
Had a couple of coins that would have fitted, but moved them through: Baa, Oink, Coocoo, B2B ingot

Found on way home from Hallidays Point....pouring rain so fairly muggle free...Cheers.
Found at 5.00pm GAFF1. The tenth cache found on c-pprass's annual trip to Port Macquarie with the mothers-in-law and sister - the oldies are looking forward to their stay in Port Stephens now!
What a clever hiding place - a few muggles bedding down for the night so we tried to be invisible - a bit hard for some!
Thanks LATANZI

Great hiding spot. found 1.05pm busy with muggles. Very ingenious idea! TFTC
MMMMMMMM, FTF on our trip NORTH up the Pacific Highway toward home. The last thing we expected to get on our trip was a FTF, but I did the PQ this morning, and it just happened to come up on the radar. Luckily we are on a bike, and not a car, as theres no way we could have stopped where we did if not on the bike.
Found very easily at 1505 hrs, number 10 for today, number 294 for the 3 week 4 day trip so far, and number 961 ever, its also about my 41st FTF.
Cheers and thanks.
