Spent a fair while scoping out the area but no luck with this one today. Found a post with a couple of cable ties from where it may have been, it may have been muggled?
Was back in Old Bar today and can confirm this one has been muffled. I am no longer in area so it's been archived
Found on a caching trip with 'Vaggfam'. Cool cache container, and a lovely spot. You wouldn't expect this to have been up the end of the road.
That's what caching is all about, exploring areas that you would not normally go.
Fav point for me.

First cache of the day on a trip with the family and 'Nudge74' around the Old Bar area. This is a very well constructed cache and it is obvious that a lot of work went into it. Fav point for sure!
It had been a little while since I had camped out yonder with the Pathfinders - pre-geocaching days.
In fact I think the area is nicer now than then. FOUND without using the hint
The log scroll is getting a little full and the plastic bag will need replacing by then too. I guess the cache is 'water proof', so I don't know how the log has gotten damp in the past

a nice hide so this one gets a fave point from me

Not a trace of mud when I caught up with this one, except that is, on a nearby fence post which sported the mud lines of termites. In fact I examined this post very carefully half expecting the cache to turn up there. However the cache itself was far more unusual.
Thanks for bringing me here; its a nice part of the Manning Valley.

I rode the push bike out along the bumpy road from towne to find a very delightful, and completely quietful, picinic area
No mud here at all ?
So where is the cache ?
The trees didn't have it !!
So I finally terned my attention to something that caught me eye on arrival.
Dare I ??!! [:o]
I kept me eyes closed as I twisted off the lid, expecting the inevitable, and somehow wondering how I would put it back together
Nothing happened !!
Eventually a logbook did fall out

After pulling up in a very dry grassed area, I had to think why it was called muddy? But upon arriving at GZ it made all sense, very clever container! TFTC.
We decided today was a good day to hit the old bar area while we are staying in the area for the long weekend, with today being nothing but a perfect day with clear sky's and a cool wind to go with it, apart from the smoke from the current bush fires. We always enjoy coming up this area

A clever idea indeed.
I just wanted refill my water bottle while I was stuck in the area due to a road block.

Found on 24/8/13. 62nd find. Interesting cache. Not too many muggles. TFTC Latanzi!!!
This was a great hiding spot latanzi. Absolutley loved it. The cache is quite worthy of a favourite! And.. It certainly lives up to its name!
Wow - what an ingenious hide. Congrats latanzi. Worthy of a favourite.
Our first find after an extended break from caching. It's been almost 4 months,
so hopefully we will press on from here. SL.

A great cache. In need of a drink on hot April day out. 2 favourites in a row doesn't happen very often
Brought the caravan up from Belmont to Forster and beyond for a few days caching around this lovely neck of the woods or should that be coast?
Should have attempted this one after Good Little Tern instead of OBPET nearby - would have saved a k or 2 on this road.
Having seen this kind of hide a few times before, it was a quick find by Mrs C. Thanks again latanzi, appreciate the work put into it.

This drive to us to the end of the line, very quite in this part of the country today.
A very nice hide using good quality fittings. Seen this type before but this has to be the top of the range.

Another great spot had it all to myself, Nice Cache, No good for washing your hands though, TFTC
We have found a nice little spot at the Coopernook Hotel to park the caravan and go off caching. Today we headed out towards Old Bar and enjoyed finding this cache. We enjoyed the scenery and having a look around the area. We put in a log scroll.
Thanks to latanzi.
Thanks to latanzi.
Glad the clue was here as i think i would have went nuts without it Love the Hiding spot TFTC
If I could read the right clues for the right cache it would be a lot easier lol. left a Kentucky quarter and put everything in a zip lock bag- getting damp. Thanks, very clever spot. Team LincolnCaleb
Found this one while on a campout down at the local van park

Nice cache ache Latanzi, obviously a lot of thought has gone into this one, must be honest, we read the clue & it all became "crystal clear". Such a clever hide, this one gets a favourite point from us. 1.5/1.5 cache but 5 for ingenuity.

I love caches that are a bit more than a tupperware container, and here is another Latanzi special. Had a feeling this was going to be something more than that by the previous logs and wasn't dissapointed.
The locals have certainly wrecked the place with burnouts and empty bottles in what would normally be a great part of the world.
A very fitting name, "muddy" today.
Thanks again Latanzi.

Reperio at 1245. Darwinian and I had never been to Old Bar before, so before heading home to Lake Macquarie we took the short detour out to visit a few caches. This was another nice little reserve visited today, but it looks like the local boys have certainly done their bit to make it a bog hole by leaving their tracks all over it. After zeroing on GZ, we soon spotted the likely hide, and once we tested it, the cache was extracted. Very nicely done.

Nice hiding spot, lovely area to have a picnic. Didn't sign the log because I was bad and didn't come prepared.
Ok got to the GZ car park and my GPS went round in circles we read the clue and went for what we thought would be an obvious place!
Turns out it wasn't so we went back to the starting point and then I spotted something I thought looked out of place.
I went over to it and sure enough it wasn't working!!!
I took it back to the car for further investigation and bingo HCIH ....very nice hide guy's, well done.
We all did a tap dance and sighed log.[:0]

It's rather a shame this cache is out of the way and therefore won't attract as many finders as it deserves for the effort that's gone into it. Very creative effort here, loved it. Luckily with the hint I went straight to it or might have been scratching my head for a while. Thanks Latanzi.
Found by Mary & David at 1305. What a lovely area, and such magnificent trees too. We could imagine camping here. Loved the camo. Our thanks to LATANZI.

Found at 10.15am GAFF3. Another wonderful spot that you can't camp at - which is a piitty. I thought that the cache was hidden in that manner - just needed the hint to confirm it before any bad things happened. A fantastic hide which once again lifts the caching spirits.
Well done Latanzi.
Well done Latanzi.
Found this cache late in evening with only light of headlights of car and then realised we didnt bring a pen so went back and 'found' it again with The Emongs a few dyas later and then logged it. TFTC, pretty little spot.
Clever one Latanzi. I was signing the log when suddenly two muggles turned up in a car and sat down to have sandwiches directly opposite us. It was difficult to be discreet about putting the log back and it was surprising how oblivious they were to what was going on around them!
Very, Very Clever
Thanks for the clue

What a fantactic hide! I have seen something similar, so after having read the hint already I knew exactly what was required when GZ was reached. Thanks for this one, it was a perfect example to the first time cacher I had along with me about lateral thinking and the sorts of hide that can be achieved with a bit of ingenuity.

Found this on our introductory to geocaching day with the Hookhunters.
We loved this one! My 15 year old was mad that the rest of us wouldn't believe him when he said he found it!!!! Extremely clever cache!
Found at 1305hrs
9th from 10 on a day trip to Taree, on a day off work. I have never been to this area before and thanks for taking me there.
A very good effort in the placement of this cache. Very well hidden and I would not have found it without the hint.

I had my eyes set on a FTF at this cache but got pipped by GC and son. I needed a quick find as I had the family with me, so I checked the hint which spoiled a really clever hide, great work Latanzi!! It has been years since I have been down Mudbishops lane, and if it was a sunnier day it would have been great towade out in the water. TFTC
1655 Wonderful, a FTF! Out with geo-son, his cousins and a friend. Had everybody looking, but sometimes it needs closer attention to details. (LOL)
Brought through a Travel Ingot - Bridge2Bridge. (Am sure it would have fitted, but am keeping it for more missions yet)
Thanks Latanzi for getting us back here, and reminding of the need to finish a container for one close by.
