Another little blue face on my map that can now be changed into a yellow one. Thank you for replacing this cache.Another adventure for the weekend, this time with earthlight and LB. We are heading to Port Hughes to catch up with friends, attend an evening event and of course finding some caches along the way.TFTC Southern Cross CachingKeep smiling
Quick find in the early morning. Glad there were no kids around. Always feel a bit weird crawling around playground equipment.
In town getting some supplies and came here for a quick find, not expecting this but happy Thanks for the hide Tftc
Found it! Much easier find than expected given the difficulty although the hint definitely helped! TFTC!
A quick find out collecting a few caches while house sitting at North Beach,TFTC
Came with a previous finder, confirmed it wasnt there, replaced with a new tin, owner can check on it
We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches. We parked across the road from this one. When we first arrived it was a bit busy but after going for a ride we made our move. We found the tin pretty quickly, signed out name and returned it. Thought it seemed pretty easy for the D rating so had a quick look for another one but nothing sighted. Thanks for the cache placement.
Checked this one today after recent DNFs and yes, the container is missing again.Replace this time with a mint in the same spot. So will up the rating to more difficult by adding a further star.Cheers and happy hunting Southern Cross Caching
Today Im day tripping with LB, doing some caching, a bit of maintenance and planning on attending an event later tonight on the coast. We even PAF here with very good instructions for a find but alas, this one eluded us both. Perhaps next time it will just jump out at us instead of us being dusted in chunks of rust!TFTC Southern Cross CachingKeep smiling
phoned a friend who previously found it and its no longer where it was a year ago.. reckon its been taken or moved
Omg! We came this morning with the kids and it was too tricky with us all looking. Park was also busy. Came back and persevered and found it. Very, very clever!!!!!!
What on earth was I thinking? Of course I wasn’t going to find it but I gave it a good shot anyway.
Took about 15 min to find and got lucky. Can completly understand how this cache can take a couple of attempts to find.
Finally, I found this one! Having been here at least 3 previous times, I managed to bring home the bacon! You little beauty! TFTC, though I suspect it is located in an easier location than what was intended.
Found with KarpyKarpyson, PrincessJuzzy, CodyGamer and LogieSaurus.

Probably looked crazy crawling around under a train in the dirt, but I found it! TFTC
TFTC. Day 9 of honeymoon caching trip. Off on the road again!

Wow! That was a toughie! Path tag for your troubles & a fav point from us

Got a quiet moment on a Sunday afternoon!

TFTC, took ages to find, and probably looked like a psycho climbing under a train in the mud, but thankfully after a while of searching with the partner, finally found its hiding spot after actually looking around.
Grabbed it while there was no-one around. School being back made it possible today. I did have a hint from a friend which made this quicker than I would have been otherwise. My puffer jacket and its hood made it tricky. Even with the hint it still took me a few back and forths to spy it
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We have enjoyed our time travelling the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geoguided tour.
Well the chilly weather returned today so we have had to rug up. Caching in the surrounds of Wallaroo. Not so quick find but we did get it. Thanks for the hide.
Day 8 of our school holiday adventures sees us hit up the west side of the Yorke finding some random caches as we meander towards home. I can’t believe I found this straight up! I never find these! Ha ha. Thanks for the cache
Back to try again a yr later with GeoKids and GeoNanna to try again. Found it finally! Tftc
Was here almost a year ago for the Cornish Festival with family but far toooooo many muggles to have a decent look. Ended up giving it a miss then. Returned earlier today and yet again one tooo many muggles due to a market nearby. Late this arvo returned with geo daughter and finally found it before heading out for tea.

My old bones aren't built for crawling under trains ....but cache was in hand after a few minutes of searching
Today is Good Friday. Public holiday plus fine weather, means go outdoor and geocaching on the way.
Today, I and J plus the little one visited Kadina, Wallaroo, and Moonta. We tried 10 caches on the way, and found 9 of them. It's a good mix of different cache types, including traditional, multi, virtual, letterbox hybrid, and lab adventure.
This is the fourth cache we found today.
We visited the treehouse nearby, and saw the APES EXPRESS. Since there's a cache here, why not have a try?
Cache has been found with the help of hint. Nice one.
Signed the log, and placed it back.
Thanks for the cache, Southern Cross Caching.
PS: I took a photo for the Apex Express.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. The storms of the past week have stopped our work for now so today we headed out for lunch at Port Hughes picking up a couple of caches along the way.
Quick find today with no muggles about.

Kids pleased to find this. They’re just the right height to find.found a small spot to write, but log was damp and needs replacing. TFTC
Found during a stay at Moonta for an extended weekend, targeting caches mostly around Moonta on Saturday, Wallaroo on Sunday and Kadina on the Monday. Thanks for the cache Southern Cross Caching!
We were supposed to head off on holidays on Friday but one thing lead to another and then 2 x 40 degree days forecast so we decided to head off today rather Than yesterday.
It was flipping hot!!
We could not book into a camp site so decided to head towards port broughton and see what eventuated. We had a fun day, avenged a few prior dnf and enjoyed some icy cold beers at the Bond Store Wallaroo (can’t recommend enough) and then ended up free camping in PB. So incredibly hot TG for the genny and AC.
Fun start to life in the camper van!
We all had a good luck under and eventually the Geohusband found the cache. TFTC

EVERY single time I have come to look for this one in nearly 11 years, the Express has been crawling with mugglets and their minders! Or it had maintenance fencing around it one time!
Anyway, I had a window between mugglets today and dived it. Luckily finding it within 30 seconds, and just as lil feet went up the steps!
A quick sign and replace.... FINALLY one of my oldest unfounds on Yorkes is off my map!
TNLNSL
Thanks

Read clues, got dust on our eyes, felt like we did a good look but just couldn't find it
A day trip was planned with Trigger_Fish, AnyMules & Davidwazza to visit the Sad Fisher and some other caches scattered around the top of Yorke Peninsula and the Copper Coast...
It was a full day of caching...getting picked up at 10:00am and arriving back at 11:50pm...
Fun and adventures were had today...
It was very squishy under here with 4 of us trying to locate the very well hidden cache...it was made more difficult by the muscle pain in my knee from getting in & out of the car while doing the Sad Fisher series...
We decided we were not going to give up and kept searching...Trigger_Fish finally said the words all cachers like to hear "Found it"

Today, the objective was *The Sad Fisher* series on the top of Yorke Peninsula. I first had a few hours to do some solo geocaching, visiting Port Arthur, Clinton and a few other points of interest on the top of Yorke Peninsula's hills. I then caught up with AnyMules, Trigger_Fish, and hevwalker, and we then spent the next 3.5 hr trying to keep motivation whilst power trailling the Sad Fisher. We then headed to Kadina for a late lunch and a few geocache visits, and then on to Wallaroo and nearby North Beach. As it got dark, we headed south-west for some 4WD along some beach tracks, and then back towards Kadina for a fast dinner. Willamulka was our final destination of the day (at least while I was with the group), before I returned back to my car at Kulpara, and made the late night drive home.
We thought this would be a scary 4.5 difficulty cache, with a few others in the group having attempted this previously and left with a DNF. So as a group attack, we started searching as per the hint. I initially thought I had a good search of one area and "cleared" it, only to have Trigger_Fish repeat the search in that same area, and exclaimed that he had found it. He had a better look than I did. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Southern Cross Caching for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Very crammed having four of us underneath here, but one of us was sure to be able to find it. And soon enough the Trigger_Fish had it in his hand.
Thanks for the cache Southern Cross Caching.

Mr Felix is the only one who can search down there for our team but armed with a torch no luck today.
A very tricky find, could only spend a couple of minutes crawling around under the train before I became the weird dad at the playground haha
Will come back another day
Will come back another day
With restrictions about to ease even further, I think we can safely enable our caches for people to start finding again. Please remember to practice safe hygiene measures while out an about, remain safe and most importantly, have fun.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone, in these terrible times and with the current government directive for people to stay at home unless it’s essential. We’ve made a decision to take our caches off-line to stop temptation and encourage people to stay home. If this goes longer than the allowable 2 weeks period and geocaching hq decide to archive them, then so be it. But let’s hope this is over as soon as possible with as little damage as possible, so we can all get on with our lives this great game in the conditions we are accustomed to.
Cheers and stay safe and healthy,
Shane and Josie

Well, wasn't that an adventure! A train cache... Oh yeah? Where? Came here after a nearby event and began the crawl. I learned from a local the original train never used to have the ramp... I think it's a good idea to allow everyone the opportunity to see above... Well, almost a good idea! TYFTC SLTNLN
After the event near by today we stopped
In here and after a short search with some previous finders the cache was found.
This afternoon/evening I headed north towards, Snowtown out to port Broughton then back to Kadina for the evening with Laighside lengends collectong a few caches here and there along the back roads. A good day out with 36 finds.
Thanks for the cache.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Back in Kadina, find a few caches today and tomorrow.
Easy find, but full of water - right underneath a puddle of the train floor. We replaced log book, dried the container and returned it to it's hide, but a bit further away from the puddle. If Cache Owner wants the dried out pages (when they do dry out,) we can send them to him. Thanks Southern Cross Caching.

Random geocaching on our 4 month road trip Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania Adelaide, Alice Springs and back to Perth with Tessplus3, Hippo380, The Great Patrini (TGP)& Bellarina. TFTC
Deceptively easy when you have a geokid with you. Certainly isn't Micro sized.
96th official day of our Australia Lap. With UMeHedgiE, Hippo380, the Great Patrini and Bellarina.

Got the GeoHubby to find this one while I watched the junior geotroopers run a muck, took a little while as we thought it was micro tiny but happy with the find in the end. Another windy day at the playground on our holiday
Checked last weekend, cache still in original location and in good condition.
I am spending the weekend camping on the Copper Coast to get out of the city and to grab some caches in this as yet unexplored area.
I arrived at the park mid morning and lucky I had the whole place to myself. Having seen how big the train was, I thought it was going to be a long search. But thankfully with my trusty gloves on, I stumbled upon the cache within a couple of minutes. The hint was very helpful.
Thanks for the cache.
