I've decided to Archive this, hopefully someone else can find a more secure place to do a hide, as this is a wonderful area.
With no legitimate finds in over 9 months and no owner replacement in almost 5 months, this one may be gone for good. Hopefully it may get a last minute reprieve though.
A hot day forecast so an early morning walk was in order...and if caches are there to be found what more could we want?
Searched for quite a while for this one but unfortunately came up empty handed. Thanks for the hide anyway ROMA123

Hmmmm looks like this one has taken a little walk again folks, so sorry for those who have spent time looking. I wont be able to check this for a couple of weeks, so will disable until I can.

Had a big hunt but couldn't find it. Looks like lots of people have tried as geotrails evident.
Will try again another day.

Found on our Holiday to the area We were having a great time and loving the area
M0rb!d & Co were out on the hunt but unfortunately even with nothing left unturned, poked, prodded or moved around we could not locate said cache.
Hunted high and low (mostly low ) but could not find this little cache. Just a stone's throw from our camp site, but didn't have time to return to look again. On the day we left the wind was ripping up the river and the waves were big!
Found on a caching day in Berri on the way home from our great eastern road trip.
Found easily out walking in the rain - love the river, if only or was Summer I'd be in there! SL with my bestie cheers from PG

Perfect cashe. Growing up on the river I appreciate reflections. I sat by the river and reflected on the good times. Told the story of always swimming and being scared stupid when the Murray River Queen came around the corner and we all thought we'd be run over. Swam like there was no tommorrow. Thank you.
This was our 16th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 14:44
So this now makes our total find count 6495.
[blue]
Hmmm, an eclipse tin under a bush. After finding over 6495 caches, it is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While some nanos have their place, eclipse tins and 200ml Sistemas seem to be the norm these days, especially where a larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Car.
Thanks ROMA123 for the hunt today.

Flind it. Rodda23, Jayden5. We found it (: was fun. State Dirt Kart Title Weekend (:
Found while out on an afternoon ride with some students from school who have been looking forward to finding some caches since we started looking at compass and map work
A certain member of our team sometimes gets irresistible urges to ignore "road closed" signs and drives around them in order to take the quickest route to GZ (thereby making some caches drive-bys when they're actually not). This is what happened here and the canny construction workers nearby saw what happened and locked the gate, so a serving of humble pie was consumed in order to release the geoBeast. We visited this area last time we were in the Riverland and had to wade to get to GZ then had no luck finding the cache (which we later found out was missing). We found the cache easily this time and then, after gaining liberation, continued on our caching way. This is a nice WALKING trail, lol. TFTC
Staying in the caravan park with some friends for the night.. Weren't sure what to do so we decided to do some caching! TFTC
Thanks for another good cache.

Christmas with the extended family, the GPSr loaded to grab caches of opportunity, unfortunately our timeframe has meant that we only had time for a few caches.
The riverland, I have been here several times, although not in recent years, and today was my first time where I could grab a couple of caches.
This one took a little time to find, and I had to wait for a muggle to clear out of the area after he had finished his smoke.
THanks Roma123 for the cache and bring me to the nice spot on the river
This is my find number 2067

Enjoyed the walk to this one. Cache was very secure, though I thoughtlessly unravelled everything before realising I'd have to do it all back up! An easy find, TFTC

Now well on way home from a three weeks holiday to the Eyre Peninsula SA with Mrs One-Eyed ,our 4wd & caravan , arrived at our onite stop at the great caravan park in Berri SA close to the Murray River.
After a well earneed cuppa, we took a walk to the riverside and located this cache okay.
A very peaceful walk along the new walking trail.

Great hide!

This cache was checked today, and is still secure, hiding, waiting to be found.
Thanks Gemini7 for checking it.

No joy here for bogonghazy and myself whilst on a flying visit to S.A. from Mexico to do a few Trails. He had a good search around, and having read the clue, called the search off. Thanks to Roma123 for the short walk in this lovely spot though.
Sully1 and I decided to walk to this one, only to discover 6 inches of water at the crossway.
So I took off runners and socks while Sully waited and searched every root around every tree I could see. I then checked the clue about a seat, and saw a concrete pad, but no seat.
Hopefully it's just me that hasn't seen it, hoope it's not gone again.
Thanks anyway ROMA123, it was a lovely walk

Found with Triumph Twins while motorbike touring in the area. After a meal at the local hotel we wandered off in search of this cache, arrived at GZ just on dark so with phone torch we searched and amazingly found the cache. TFTC

After all this time I was back in Berri and was sure I would have a find this time. However, three of us had a thorough search and left empty handed.

#2341 Found on our last day in the Barmera area - we were making the most of our time and visiting places and caches along our route. It was late afternoon and we were pressed for time - we umm'd and arrhh'd for a while before deciding on a quick stroll - it was too nice a day. Glad we did as it is a pretty area and we located the cache to boot. Our thanks to ROMA123 for the placement & for encouraging us on a walk
After dad went to see if their was accommodation at the nearby caravan park(turns out none), I asked to come and find the cache. A short run and I found the cache, but it was a great difficulty to undo the knot of the plastic bag to get to the cache. Eventually I undid it, signed the log. Thanks for the cache in a beautiful spot.
Found just on dusk so the birdlife was great. For once I didn't have a pen on me so couldn't sign the log but left a Bendigo pathtag instead.
Did go for a short walk. Geo son thought he knew where it would be hidden. Lovely spot to reflect. TFTC. Took coin left keyring
A lovely walk, seeing all the new little trees and reeds sprouting up around the area after the flood. Cache still safe. TFTC

Had a nice stroll along the wetlands and knew there wad a cache along here. Did realise it was disabled though; but thanks for the walk anyway. I havent been along here since I was in high school 15+ years ago, so a nice place to reflect.
Temporarily Disabling this cache....Due to the Murray River flooding....will replace and reactivate when subsided. [xx(]

Lots of water in the river right now meaning there was a creek flowing across the path. I was the only one with water friendly sandals so I was it!! Lved walking across to get the cache while the others waited. FUN CACHE!
The cache wont last long if the water comes up any higher... may need to be looked at.

Found with Southern Cross Caching, Schatzsuche, Parrothead and Geotrecaz. Since this one was kind of cut off due to high water, somebody had to walk across. So we were mean and made Josie do it Lol. Thanks Josie!! And thanks for the cache!!
If you are going to claim some of these you have to get your feet wet,I did and it was a great place to reflect and peaceful most of the time, tftc
Well, there was a water crossing, and Mark was up against it. Mary and Monica/Mogni refused to go, so off went Mark to brave the not so deep waters. Whilst writing on the log, Mark was interrupted by two young fishing muggle lads and was stuck momentarily until they moved on to better waters. Mary and Monica were happy to see the slight nod as Mark approached them to indicate he had been successful.
The floods have now cut off this cache requiring a water crossing. The brave among us trudged through the mid calf deep water, while the woosie ones remained high and dry. Found in the company of Gum Ako, TK2, Dazzatron and Skippy. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely place.
Another cache that we can remember looking for before, but either we didn't find or didn't log it. Today we did find it, together with Southern Cross Caching, Schatzsuche, Parrothead and Someuser, and the rest of us talked Josie into walking through the water to retreive it for us. TNLN, thanks ROMA123
