I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, %CO%, requesting additional time.

An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO, vidahoy.

The cache will be disabled and I'll check back in 30 days to see if either

- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated in a Note log here, when action will be taken

**If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then we can only assume that the cache has been abandoned and, regrettably, it will be archived.**

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Thank you

Found a big chunk of honeycomb, but didn’t find any cache.

22-Mar-21
With a bunch of DNFs and not being found for over a year, this one may need a check by the CO to confirm it is still available.

No luck here for us.

02-Mar-20
No problem with the puzzle, bat at GZ we couldn't find anything.

06-Dec-19
Quick solve but no luck finding it. Looked carefully everywhere, might be missing with no find logs for such a long period.

Thank you Perrycom adopted by vidahoy with thanks for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Lmao great hide

13-Jun-19
This took a lot longer to solve then it should have. Eventually after going down many, some times very off topic, rabbit holes I spotted the clue.
GZ was a quick find with an extra reward of a pathtag falling out of the hide amongst the natural camo. Looking at the logs it seems to have been lost in the host for 6 months. It now has a home in my collection. TFTC and puzzle.

06-Jun-19
Thanks for the puzzle. Nice to tick another solved one off the list.

28-Apr-19
Thank you! Today I headed out on a solved puzzle run. I'd looked at this one a number of times without luck, and decided to take another look last night. After trying a few unsuccessful things, I tried something else for no other reason than 'why not', and ended up with workable coordinates! It was only then that the puzzle made sense, and couldn't believe it took me that long to solve.
Cache found without issue at GZ. I think a non-cacher had found it, as the lid was off and the log was out, but everything was still fine, including the TB that was there too. Took the TB and packed everything together as it should be.

24-Mar-19
Decided to head out early and do some caching north of the river. Managed to pick up a few puzzle caches that have been sitting in the solved pile for a while, turned a DNF into a smiley, did a multi and picked up a few traditionals as well. All in all a good morning of caching TFTC vidahoy

Today we were at a local event so took the opportunity in finding some puzzles we have had on the solved pile. Cache quickly located and added our names to the log. Tftc

Got a clue on this one while at the 'New Years Day' event nearby so decided to detour via here on the way home. Lots of people out and about this afternoon but nobody near GZ luckily, spotted the hide in the first place I checked.

Crosses off the Peppi Grove LGA for me so awarding a favourite for that.

vidahoy I found your cache at 2:37pm, this was the 3rd of 3 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5161. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

A nice puzzle that came easily once we were on the right track. Lots of dog walking muggles in the park this morning but nice and quiet at GZ.
Out and about picking up some solved puzzles before the rains come.

I had solved the puzzle some time ago and I needed a cache to tick off the Peppermint Grove LGA so after we had visited the sculptures at Cottesloe we popped over to grab this one and enjoy a coffee in the nearby café after.
Also grabbed the TB that was here

Had been down to a furniture store in Freo so plotted in a few caches for the drive back home to break up the journey. Solved this puzzle before leaving home as I quickly saw what needed to be done to generate the required cords Smile Numbers safely plugged in the GPS I managed to find a nearby parking spot then walked the final few metres over to GZ. What a lovely area with some magnificent trees. Quickly found the one I needed and after a loop around I knew just where the cache was hiding. In that short walk however a couple of muggles had converged nearby with their dogs...and I was conspicuous without a pooch of my own. So I retreated to a nearby bench to wait it out - thankfully it wasn't long before they had parted ways and were walking away. Taking the opportunity of tree cover, I delved in to grab the container. Drat, it was only a large concealer, not the actual cache. I had to put the phone torch on as I wasn't fishing around in there in the dark so after waiting for another opportunity, this time it was hand-in, cache-out Smile A fun little puzzle and a lovely final - thanks for bringing me here and TFTC Smile

08-Jan-18
I was definitely overthinking the puzzle and the answer popped out at me within seconds once I stood back and had a second look at it. Find was simple enough at GZ. Nice tree, too. TFTC.

A lovely cool Boxing Day and what better thing to do than clear up the Western suburbs on a pleasant drive with megawat60.
It was good to find this cache at last! I solved, he found it! Thanks for this puzzle and cache from Vidahoy and thanks to the maintainers.

Out again with m4yb for some caching on this Boxing Day for 2017. Finally I make the find Yay!
Thanks for the smiley and the hide.

I worked this out a while back and have gone looking for it twice. But I just cant find the right tree! If anyone wants to give me a hint that would be great

Solved prior to my visit to WA from Adelaide.

Found while out introducing a couple of friends from Perth to geocaching.

Thanks Perrycom and vidahoy for the puzzle and the cache.

I went for a bit of a caching outing this morning with some Sylvanian Family members who a certain junior from Freckles101 insisted I take while she was at school. I'm glad they found this cache. TFTC vidahoy

10-Apr-17
I can't tell you how many times I have attempted this cache, only to be muggled out each time. I've had it on the solved list for at least 3 years and have tried every trip to the west over that period... That's a lot of times by the way... Surprised

This afternoon, I was working my way through the solved list again and dropped by this one to find the place deserted... Err, WHAT, there's absolutely no-one here. Amazing given the school holidays and a great day weatherwise... [?]

Not at all disappointed with the muggle free area, I moved in for the hunt and quickly located the cache. I etched my name in the log and replaced the container as found, before moving off with a great sense of relief at finally having this one ticked off... Big Grin

Thanks for the puzzle and cache Vidahoy and thanks to the local caching community who maintain the cache for you.

04-Apr-17
Solved this last night in anticipation of being in the area today. Knew immediately what to do with the puzzle having previously completed one based on the same theme.

Once at GZ was put off a little by the lorikeets(?) and had to dodge some exercisers who turned up out of nowhere, but made a simple find.

TFTC vidahoy and to Krabiboy for the replacement.

Since quick find here in the obvious spot Smile. A great location for a cache [^]

Smile With a pile of ever growing solved puzzles and a stack of unfound multi caches about I decided to add a bit of spice to my caching adventures this month and only hunt out mysterys and multis Big Grin. Unfortunately a bit of a hiccup at the start if the month threw the challenge out the window but today was a day for redemption Smile. I made a plan to head for this area and pick up the caches that I could and managed to stay away from traditionals [^].

A big thanks to vidahoy for placing this container out here for us to find [^].

vidahoy - jinta29 found your cache Keane as Mustard on 19/3/17, 12:17 pm. This is my find #6346 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for bringing us to this location and adding to the wonderful spirit of this game!

Had this solved some time ago and happy to make a quick find today

I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.

**See you there**.

vidahoy - Kyzabra found your cache Keane as Mustard . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

10-Feb-17
I solved the puzzle about 2 years ago and went to search for it at the time. Unfotunately, the cache was not there as it had been muggled, but today I noticed that it had been replaced and enabled again. I was very excited to drop by today and discover this one in between the heavy rain showers. TFTC

02-Feb-17
I worked out the puzzle a few weeks ago (it really is very simple) but this was my first chance to come and look for the cache. There were a few dog walkers about this morning but none near me as I studied the tree. The covering over the cache alerted me to its location. I've ridden by this park many times but never stopped to admire it. Thanks to vidahoy and whoever is maintaining the caches now. A fav.

26-Nov-16
In the area for a non geocaching event. this one was solved and found quickly before the event started.
thanks for the cache vidahoy and KrabiBoy for placing a new container.

03-Oct-16
had this puzzled solved for a few weeks so headed off in this direction to see if we could turn it into a find. Excellent gps coords had us right near the likely host but a very friendly pooch and even friendlier owner just wanted to play (pooch) and chat(owner) Eventually they left so we could delve in and find it. Cache in excellent condition. TFTC and puzzle, Vidahoy and whoever is maintaining his caches.

10-Sep-16
Found this one recently and hadn't got around to submitting my log until now - typical of me to fall so far behind with my logging though. Better late than never, or so they say. And this one has been on my map for way too long. Finally found myself back in the area today and was happy to make a quick find, despite all the muggles that were everywhere. Am sorry that I never got to meet vidahoy before his passing, but his caches live on. Thanks to everyone who is helping to keep his memory alive.

13-May-16
A previous attempt to log this cache was foiled by it not being there (no matter how high I climbed!). This time however, the cache was found easily and in good condition (no climbing required!).

Enabling listing and removing NM attribute

21-Mar-16
I have had this clever little puzzle sitting in my solved pile for far too long.

I was in the area today and when I loaded up the cache page, saw the recent logs. I have placed a new cache at the final coordinates, so it can now be reinstated. New cache is a 200ml sistema container.

TFTC vidahoy.

vidahoy, I found your cache Keane as Mustard on 21/03/2016 at 7:25 PM.
This is my find #2383 and find #3 today.

17-Jul-15
I am no longer interested in replacing this cache.

16-Jul-15
I do not want to see any more of vidahoy caches get archived so I am going to treat this cache as a community maintained cache and as such I can deal with it as required including enabling it again once it is back in place and removing the NM attribute. I am going to disable it whilst it is not there so other cachers do not go looking for it whilst you are away.

Please advise me once you have replaced the cache after your holiday and I will enable it again and also remove the NM attribute. If anything on the listing itself needs altering I will alter it for you.

15-Jul-15
Time for this one to be put to bed. A string of DNFs, a NM log more than 12 months ago, no action from the CO who last logged on in Dec 2013.

15-Jul-15
My apologies, I haven't been watching the listing closely enough. As many locals know, Vidahoy passed away. I will replace the cache within the next 28 days; I am not in Perth at the moment but will make it a priority when I return to work next week. Reviewer, please do not disable this cache since then there is no CO who will be able to enable it.

12-Jul-15
Very confused we ended up in the open.

01-Jun-15
Looked everywhere

22-Jan-15
Didn't decipher the coords but thought we would have a look in the trees and if we could find it based on the photos. We couldn't. We are local so will be back if we see that someone has found it.

25-Dec-14
Unscrabbled the message, and still couldn't find it. Must be gone

11-Dec-14
I found the tree with the nesting lorikeets from the photos.... But I didn't want to disturb them any further. They flew away as I was starting to poke around. It was dusk and hard to see but I really couldn't see how a container could be concealed securely in these trees. I checked many trees and I just don't get the clue either.... Will come back another day......

13-Jul-14
Like many others we couldn't solve the puzzle. But with careful looking and reading other logs we had an idea of what to look for and soon located it. Lovely spot. TFTC

20-Jun-14
Quickly came to repair our first find as vidahoy is no longer with us. The cache has been exposed to Muggles for about a month now so we seized the opportunity to repair it. The repair is crude and will be improved on soon. I hope somebody will be able to repair it in the meantime.

02-Jun-14
This needs maintainer as the cover is missing on the tree while the cache itself is visible will come down some in 10-20 minutes bit if you are passing through it would be appreciated of you could cover it up with pieces of bark Tftc

18-Apr-14
I also have to confess that I had no idea how to solve the puzzle. After looking at the spoiler photos and walking around from tree to tree.... I would not have found it if it weren't for the birds nesting above being startled when I poked the bottom if the tree. Great Gide, worth a fave.
Thanks for cache vidahoy.

Tried to find this cache as many others before - without solving the puzzle, just going from tree to tree. No luck on this occasion.

20-Nov-13
Came to Peppermint Grove for a bit of fishing and solved this puzzle before heading off. Found it surprisingly quickly as these tricky camos normally stump me but I got lucky today. Loved the camo, thanks for the cache!

12-Oct-13
Sat at the nearby café having a brew figuring out this one. Typically Mrs O read every third word of the description and then handed the phone to Mr O to decipher.... which of course he did.... quite quickly. Mrs O was however required to back up the numerical values but then we were soon off on our way. Alas we then put on our blinkers and headed to what we thought would be the right place, then zigzagged about until we actually looked at the co-ords and went to the correct spot. Doh! Mr O got this one. Nice hide. Like it. TFTC.

14-Sep-13
Was caching with my girlfriend the other week (looking for my first cache) and she said "oh, I think we found one down at the dog park) I have no idea how to solve the puzzle, but she was right.
Apparently one of the dog walkers rang the ranger about it. I think all the Bark in the Park crew at 5pm know all about it.

Didn't log as raining like crazy. TFTH, best I've seen.

11-Sep-13
Last of my long lunch find today. Just as I arrived the heavens opened with a deluge of reason for a good 5-10min so waited it out in the car. Quick find once at GZ, loved the removable camo ... nice work Vidahoy. Another example of his brilliant hides. Great legacy to have for the local caching community. TFTC.

07-Sep-13
I'd say the lorikeets have been breeding there's about 8 now. Great cache!

Found @ 13:06!

Find #2 today!

Had a quick look at this puzzle and was a little confused so I sought help from a previous finder as I was quite busy at the time...

Kicked myself when I got a reply - I probably would've figured it out myself if I read the text properly again...!

Was nearby today so thought I would get this cache too.
Arrived at GZ and noticed two colourful parrots had made a home in the tree!

Noticed something a little suspicious and (after a bit of fiddling) soon had the cache in hand!

Very nice and well constructed hide!

TNLN TFTC!

Was a long way from my toy cupboard, but internet could tell me what value to give things. Lots of passing dog walkers but timed my move.

18-Aug-12
We sill have no idea what the puzzle meant, but we did a loop of the park checking the possible spots and voila! We just signed the log but must say it was an impressive stash of stuff in there! Nice hide, pity we don't see the dog Smile tftc!

12-Aug-12
First things first, I must confess that I don't understand this puzzle ... I went to the given coordinates and found myself standing in a wide open space, with no clues as to how I might solve the puzzle. From previous logs on the old incarnation of the cache, I had a fair idea of the type of hiding place it might be in ... Initially, I didn't check the first object that caught my eye, but after checking two similar objects, I went to this one and soon had the cache in hand. Nice camo job, hopefully it's only friendly muggles that know about this cache. SL. TNLN (nicely stocked cache by the way). Thanks for the hide vid.

Somebody logged a visit in the cache but has not posted on the Net.
The hide seems to move slightly over time without a finder.
I wonder if muggles are interfering again? There are some nice swaps in there, so will keep an eye on it.

After a heads up from the new CO I had another look at this puzzle. Back in 2009 when I found the original cache I didn't have any idea what the puzzle was about and brute forced the cache find.

This time, at least, I could work it out and got the new GZ. With Gwiber I went and found the cache and collected the *FTF* certificate about 7pm.

Thanks vidahoy for the new puzzle and cache.

Lots of goodies, please make good swaps in this new location. Beware of MUGGLES. Cool

Having taken over this cache from 'perrycom' who did such a clever job with the puzzle I will replace it in a slightly different position, so the muggles will loose track. I may make it a bit more camo, for safety. I think this may mean that there can be a new FTF. So new seekers, look for the new altered coords in the puzzle, when I put it back up, and we may have a new FTFinder!!! When you are finding, look out for Geodog, with a kink in the end of her tail, (brown short hair staffy/kelpiy Geodog, very enthusiastic and fun loving).
If you are in the area and looking for 'Keans Point' or 'Bay View' thank "perrycom" for bringing you here in the first place, with his family friendly cache.

31-May-12
This cache has been well and truly muggled. Although I replaced the container, after finding it on the ground, it has no log book and also needs maintenance. I have advised the owner, but no response, so will watch for developments and try to place another cache in this area in due course, if it is archived.. Perrycom seems to have archived most of his other hides, so I guess he/she is out of town.

26-May-12
Looked in nearly every tree, used photos and hints, may have been been moved by muggles...

04-May-12
unscrabbled the puzzle as required, made a quick find on a drizzly day, no log book, so i signed on a scrap bit of paper

tftc

27-Apr-12
While walking the Geodog, saw the cache container by a rubbish bin, no sign of a log book. Replaced the container in it's rightful place. It needs some repairs and maintenance. Obvious muggle interference.

26-Apr-12
Found it- we think? Not sure about the puzzle but went wandering in the evening and found what seemed to be a typical geocache 'klippo box' in a tree however no certificate,no log nor pen. Just a few v tatty looking items. Replaced it in tree. We're new to the game but think it must be it.Kids were disappointed

Big Grin Good Friday and a day of caching with Mr. Wileyclan. Wink An opportunity to grab some solved puzzles Cool and some other caches up in some areas we do not often visit.

Muggles were everywhere, GZ was easily located, but the man walking the dog was heading straight towards us. He stopped and chatted, asked if we were geocachers, I thought that the two blokes in a park by an object hold handheld GPSrs was a bit of a give away, so we answered in the afirmative. Vidahoy thought that busting us was quite amusing.

While we chatted, I recovered the cache, signed the log and returned it to its resting place. Thanks perrycom of the cache and the puzzle

06-Apr-12
So today I headed north for a caching run with rudi63 in search of my 1000th find. We had a plan in place, go find caches. Seems like such a simple plan and it worked for us for the most part!!

Oh my, how do you say BUSTED!!!!!

rudi63 and I snuck over the road from where we had managed to get a parkig spot on this lovely afternoon that had brought the muggles out in hordes. We walked to ground zero and let some girls go past. I quickly saw the container and told rudi63. I also said that I would wait until this muggle with the dog had gone by. Problem is that he didn't go by, he stopped and asked if we had decrypted it!

What??!!! He then asked if we were geocachers to which we replied in the affirmative. Nice to meet Vidahoy out and about, I am sure he had a chuckle at busiting us

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache after all that perrycom

Cheers Cool

Kudos to Travellers Two who had already solved the puzzle. The hardest part was entering the coordinates in the new phone app! Fairly straight-forward find. TFTC.
