Find # 2126

On our normal weekend caching run, SedgwickDave and I were first heading towards Yarra Glen, then doing a bit of a loop via Christmas Hills, Kangaroo Ground, Hurstbridge, Yan Yean, Mernda, Plenty and South Morang. It was a cool morning, but most of the afternoon was beautiful and sunny.

This was my 30th and final cache for the day, an epic caching run that has taken us to many great new places we had never been to before. we parked nearby and walked through the long grasses to GZ Where we found a neatly camoed cache.

Thanks again to homerjay73 for the cache, TNLN.

Found @1733 #1968
On another epic cache run today with caching buddy ahomburg. We had run this route before which is Yarra Glen then west towards South Morang and everywhere else in between. A good numbers today with 30 found in total and a few DNFs. An awesome day with a cool start and the forecast rain didn't eventuate so it was a rather nice and sunny at times.[^]

Once making the short walk from the car to GZ it was like mmm... now where is it? After a short wander around the clever cache was finally spotted. Nice.Cool A satisfying find. TFTC homerjay73, left blue gem stone.

Quick easy find on the way home from South Morang with ee! Have seen this type of hide from you elsewhere Homerjay!!

NO TB's in the cache as listed! Very disappointing when TB's are not there! Will email owners to mark them as missing!

Another day marked off on the calendar for Project 366 just 38 days to go to have it completed!!

Caching with the kids over the school holidays was fun, but it's really nice to get out on my own while they're at school.

Parking around in the lane, it was ready to be ignored by the muggles whizzing by.

Again, quite thankful of the fact that there was no sign of the arachnids mentioned in previous logs. This camo and cache size impressed me enough to off-load a couple of my growing collection of trackables.

Found with Kmace. Parked in the side road and found the site after some searching. Kmace said the coodinates were a bit out. I liked the camo.

Found this one today with Irontoad. I was impressed by the camouflage on this cache but did wonder what the significance of the location was. Great hide but I think the coordinates may be a bit out but that may have just been the cloud and tree cover today. Took nothing, left nothing and signed log.

Thanks for the cache homerjay73.

Out caching with teams Ian & Penny and Liz & Bruce. As the traffic on the main road was getting busy we opted for a parking spot on the side road. Bruce very quickly had the log book in hand - what's the story/reason behind the cache name?

TNLN . . SL. . Thanks for the hunt homerjay.

Third find for the day with GeoDad. A suspicious Muggle was gardening near by so we had to move the car and approach from the road side. We replaced the log with a notebook we had in our swag, but it needs a new zip lock bag as the old log was starting to get a little soggy. Excellent camouflage!

Took: Dump Truck
Left: Log Book & Bird Hair Pin

It's Dads 81st Birthday and since he resides in a local Aged care facility, we took him out to Hawkstone park.
We also took him caching with us. Every day is an adventure for him.
He saw a bunch of cyclists wizz passed while we were there and that got him started on how he used to be a semi-professional cyclist.
He recalled when he used to shave his legs an hop on the old treddly for a ride around the roads. "We didn't have lycra in my days...and if you came off your bike you didn't want the hairs stuck in your wounds. Thats why we used to shave our legs...."
Thanks for the memories Homerjay!
