Found this one in a nice group of cachers after the Hello 2016 event at Richards Campground. It was totally awesome to find something that hasn't been touched in over 5 years.
After attending the nearby Event for the New Years Day "Hello 2016" souvenir, we set off in the company of Wozzle68, Fergzter and chooknchunk to clean up some local caches in this impressive part of the world.
Chook had this archived one under her radar for sometime and today was the day to see if it was still in place while caching in the area. After some extensive searching in the location of GZ and using the hint Fergzter literally dug it out. Rusted , wet and totally decaying we still managed to get our team names in this one.
Thanks Bustedleg for the hide.

In the company of Chooknchunk, The Tritonz and Wozzle68 we were caching around Mt Cole but Chook from Chooknchunk suggested we go and have a look at this archived hide. We were not expecting to find anything given the 6 years since it had been archived. However given we were nearby it was worth a shot. Nothing to loose. Well after wandering down the track we managed to find the GZ easily enough but it took a fair while to locate the cache. Over the 6 years ants had built up the earth around the container so our initial search resulted in nothing. So I got down on my hands and knees and gently dug out the hole and before long I was rewarded by spying the now rather rather decayed but still intact container (please see attached images). So after taking a few photos insitu we carefully took it out of its hiding place and managed to extract the log via the rusted out bottom of the container. The contents of course were sodden and rotting but we managed to find the log and even after a short while add our names to it. We also added a new fresh log with RITR paper to hopefully weather the future if any other geocachers are as mad as us to return to this long forgotten geocache. The cache was returned as we found it, but lifted up a bit so hopefully it wont fill with water once again.
Many thanks to Bustedleg for this hide. It was quite an adventure in geo-archaeology. Also awarding an fav point for the experience in locating this one.

Found with Fergzter, Wozzle68 and The Tritonz after a New Years Day morning tea event down at Richards Campground. We spent the rest of the day caching around Mt Cole. A while ago Chook had discovered that there was an archived cache at the Towers and had kept the cache page (along with a couple of others) tucked away in a pocket in the car. With no guarantees that there would be a cache at the end, we all decided we would enjoy the walk anyway. At GZ, we all hunted around for a while, until Fergzter got his hands dirty and managed to extract the cache from deep in its hidey hole. We carefully opened it and separated the sodden log - but somehow we still managed to write our names in it. We also signed and added a separate RITR sheet in a separate bag as well, because the first lot of signatures weren't that sustainable. Gotta log the find properly to claim the smiley - even when archived. Thank you Bustedleg, for bringing us here and for giving us a lot of fun still, even with your archived cache.
Found on a wet wintry day whilst in the area attending the Spring Camping Event, with Bogonghazy. We decided to check it just in case it was still there, which it still was, and completely full of water. Thanks bustedleg.
Found today in the company of Sully1 while attending the Spring Camping Event.
As my GSAC is not completely up to date, we were unsure if this one was arch'ed, but as htere is another cache so close, we decided to have a look.
We found this full of water, and it's a shame, as it's such a great spot. My thanks to bustedleg for bringing us here, and the effort in placing this cache.
We hope your health picks up soon. TNLNSL

This one looks interesting but if is gone for a while, it should probably be archived until it returns.
Waslked down after the one at the top, bushbashing a bit until we got to GZ and spotted the easy track. Always the way. Cache quickly found and signing duties done.
Unluckily though these containers just don't really work in the bush despite being out of any direct rain. As expected when opened the cache can had about 1/2 cm of water in it - what happens as the air cools down overnight it contracts and sucks new air into the cache under the lid. The moisture in that air then condenses out and forms water inside the tin - the lid was also quite rusty on top - I expect the top of this is probably in cloud a lot of winter.
Luckily the ziplock had kept the contents nice and dry, would suggest replacing with a Sistema or ammo tin - but otherwise it's a great cache in a fun spot to get to with top views. Thanks bustedleg.

Found on a week end away ballooning with friends. Cave hill creek and Langi Ghiran stete park is a great place to fly out of.
Out and about with Doheng on a ballooning weekend.

Well, this was an interesting route on a very windy day...so much so that a tree fell across our road and so could not return the same way, but had to really use GPS to find alternate road out. What a great tower! Took nothing, left a spoon. TFTC...our second FTF for the day!
