Taking a long cache filled dawdle back from Busselton. Quick find here thanks. Amazing tree
Random geocaching on a weekend from Perth to Busselton TFTC.
I replaced the container and log, eaten by snails.

As we headed in the direction of our chosen beach with a view to swimming there, and another warm day, we passed by this cache. A quite impressive tree there.
The cache itself was uncovered and so spotted as soon at we got to the GZ itself. We noted the cache container has a hole in the base, but all else was ok. We put the cache back with what looks to be the normal cover back in place.

Nice quick find on my way home. Container has a hole in the bottom and log book is very damp.
NEF on the way home. If only the tree could talk. TFTH!

Wow. Probably the biggest Morton bay fig tree we have ever seen.
Cache was a bonus. Seeing the tree was the reward.

Easy find on a cold wet and wintry day. There is a spark plug as a swap in the cache, Never seen that before. Cheers.
Impressive greenery indeed. Easy find. Cache is in good condition. Replaced pencil so there is a writing tool in there now. TFTC. 500 up for me, on to a thousand now.
Quick stop and find on our way back to our accommodation at Peppermint Beach from Bunbury. A warm day, but good to get a find on the last day of the year. TFTC

TFTH TFTC! Day one of a huge caching trip with Barnzy12 to Bunbury for the weekend, an area we haven't ventured to for far too long with so many green dots on the map just waiting to be found.
We started off by grabbing all of the newly published ooh yeh heading south caches which hopefully one day can make their way all the way to Bunbury, and luckily they were positioned where they were with the newly installed fixed point to point camera nearby which may have nabbed us otherwise.
We got to Bunbury after grabbing a nearby archived team red roo cache and went to complete the skippy in the bush series which was a lovely walk around some suburban bushland with a great variety of plants and vegetation for us to see. All containers bar the disabled one found without issue. I might have to ask you where you get your magnets for the mint tins as they are highly effective baffle!!
We then grabbed a bunch of park and grabs around town which were pretty stock standard.
We then drove down to the Ludlow Forrest to complete the Bigfoot series of caches and some others in the bush. It was a lovely drive around on the 4x4, which handled the bush nicely even with a few obstacles. The highlight of the day was some ripper money box hides including big foots ATM, which lived up to the normal team money box standard
We closed out the first day with some park and grabs around town at dusk and into the evening. Thanks to the local COs for their caches so far..

TFTC! Day 2 of the Bunbury weekend geocaching trip with Cravo10. After a massive day yesterday we decided we needed more of the same punishment and decided another big day was I order.
We headed around town grabbing a few park and grabs gradually making our way south towards Ludlow grabbing a bunch of caches on nice quiet country roads which was most pleasant.
We worked out way around the area, accumulating caches not going too far off the main drag.
We then worked our way back toward central Bunbury taking the inland route picking up a few more caches which again were mostly simple grabs.
The time had come for us to leave as I had a short appointment to attend in Perth so we made our way back down South west highway where we picked up an archived cache which was just a slight detour on coalfields highway and bunch of new caches in the Harvey area and three caches in wagerip which was a must do, collected about 40months unloved due to the very unfortunate yarloop fires, some nice caching there dimor.
Thanks to the local COs, a huge weekend and fortunately there are still a heap more for a return visit!

The things I do for caching. I needed a cache to gain the Geocaching Day souvenir. This one was the closest to home that wasn't found so off I went for a 60km round trip. Stomped around GZ, tripped over sticks and got poked in the face by the tree. I couldn't found it then I read the change. Quick find once I crossed the road. TFTC.
Found with lid off and very wet. Have dried off as much as possible and replaced where we thought it may have been. Log book in plastic bag is OK. TFTC

Old man tree has dropped a heap of leaves over the cache and ir has become difficult to locate, I have moved it to the other side of the road.
