I am not sure if the original CO got permission for this cache on private property as a result as the adopted CO I will archive this cache
TFTC. We are in the Bundaberg region for the next six weeks doing a housesit. We are using the time and geocaching to explore around the region. A nice sunny day, we decided to explore Elliott Heads and grab a few caches as well.
Drove to the end of the road before taking a walk along the path. Got to GZ and was required to go under a fence. Suggest the CO check this. Cache container has been nibbled at.

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. The cache seems to be on private property as we had to go under a barbed wire fence to get to GZ. It is only a matter of 10m but still....
This was a pleasant stroll to gz... or well as near as could be. Then a bit of limbo there and back and all was good. Found about three pm with offroadcaveman. Find number 991
Quick easy find had views of kids throwing rocks at a washed up washing machine Tftc!
A bit of an adventure. Ended up on private property just through the fence. TFTC Lovely views.
Having spent most of the day grabbing caches from a relatively proximal distance from the car, it was nice to stretch the legs a little to get this one. The walk was spectacular with escaped watermelons growing along the path, amazing views and some nice daydreams about owning one of the properties as a Bromance/keteers timeshare holiday home. My $5 found at a CITO would surely do the trick if we fed it into the correct pokie, right?! TFTC
This was an interesting walk for a cache. To be honest I didn't really feel like a big walk, but I decided to give it a go, and I am glad that I did. Getting the right path took a double take - are we allowed to be here? Then following a series of odd paths we made it to 8 metres from the cache. Oh, we have to go over THERE! A hop skip and a jump later and we quickly had the cache in hand. Log signed and it was a quicker walk out - or felt like it anyway.
We noted property for sale as we headed out, and all daydreamed about buying it with winnings from the $5 JND had in her pocket - all we need is a lucky streak at the casino, right?
Thanks for the cache A Fave Pt for the difference and the daydream.

With a long weekend in play it was time for another road trip for The Bromance. With Crookedpete off doing his best Jack Sparrow impersonation on a sailing boat somewhere off of Hervey Bay, the full complement of JezNDez stepped up admirably to fill his shoes. A destination of Bundaberg was set and we headed off from Brisbane on Friday afternoon to begin our adventure.
Thanks to the abominable traffic heading out of Brisbane and a stop in Gympie for dinner at the RSL, it was around midnight before we located a sneaky spot to set up our tents off the road, not all that far out from Bundaberg. With a little over 4 hrs of sleep we quickly struck camp this morning and headed off before sun up to begin a new day of caching. With the morning spent collecting caches on our target list in Bundaberg it was time to head towards the coast. Having picked up our target list of caches in Bagara we continued south along the coast towards Elliott Heads.
Locating the indicated parking coordinates we set out for the walk to GZ. It was a welcome change to get a decent stretch of the legs after some significant driving over the last 24 hours. This really was an eclectic spot, an unusual combination of locations encountered along the way which held our interest the whole journey. A favourite for the pure variety over such a comparatively short distance. Cache found safe and well after getting an indication of the hiding spot from previous logs. TFTC

Found it today with another homeschooling family. Walked along the rocks to the cache, it took so long! We finally found it, wasn't sure about it being behind a person's property but both geo kids went and retrieved the cache. Swapped little treasures. Great to see wild watermelon growing in the shrubs.
After a very long rocky walk as we parked a long way away, we found this cache. Signed and made a swap.
Found out with Geo Hubby while on holiday from SA. Left TB TFTC TNSL wasn't sure about going under the fence but sure enough it was there.
While camping at Bundaberg with Geodad (Whitey Wiskas) and Geodog (Scruffy) ...
We just had to go out and find a few caches ..
Not sure if cache is still in good location, appears a new barbed wire fence has been put up, and the cache is now in a horse paddock .. [?]
But even so, was a great walk in a lovely spot, on a beautiful morning ..

A nice easy walk to this one from the Elliott Heads end. Cache was lying out in the open, with minor excavation suggesting the local rabbit had taken up residence at GZ. Replaced the cache along with a few good sized rocks to discourage the intruder. Thanks for bringing us here, Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
Love the walk but was unwilling to cross the fenced boundry as we want to set a good example for geo kid.
Was a bit confused because didn't know whether to go past barbed wire or not :/
Parked where recommend and took a path. When I got well into the course I realised it was the golf buggy track. So I pretended I should be there and when i met players used the golf language. "Great shot" "good Jason won a major" "use an 8 iron next" and the old favourite "four". Back to the car and found the intended track. Even past cows who were curious so not many people use that track. It's now late in the afternoon, if ever I earned a beer it's today. Fav point TFTC fulfilled71
TFTC. Beautiful location. Took a car and tassel. Left a fairy and dinosaur. Also left a travel if to enjoy the views.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 1:00pm. This cache is on private property and may have to be moved. We had to climb through a 4 strand barbed wire fence to get to GZ. The cache is in good condition though. TFTC
Holidaying at Elliott Heads, we took an early morning bike ride, we left the bikes and walked the last part of the track. The cache was soon in hand and signed. What a wonderful spot.
Found it! Nice spot for a cache. I'm catching up on my logging found this one a while back. TFTC fulfilled71!
Field of views one day field of upmarket houses the next. TFTC enjoyed the walk coming down from the northern end.
Had us going for a while but soon the fully house trained, egg laying, direction finding, non allergenic, fast of foot, keen of eye, geocache sniffer Duck had it in beak. even if we did have to clamber through the barbed wire fence to get to it. TFTC
A fairly warm day for the walk from the other nearby cache along the beach for my Dad and I today. An enjoyable stroll all the same along sand and rocks alike. Got nearer to GZ and headed up the dunes. When the GPS wanted me on the other side of a fence, I wasn't keen but I could see where the cache was. Not so sure about crossing fences into what seems to be private property. But I ducked through, found the cache and signed before heading back to the public side of the fence quickly. We decided to take the high road/track back to the car. TFTC phillipsart, a nice walk along the beachfront
Holidays nearly over, a quick trip to Bundaberg to see the in-laws ... and grab a couple caches of course. [9D] Headed out with Muggle-wife and her camera to catch some views as well.
Took a walk along the coast and quickly found myself at GZ, and with cache in hand. Noice.
Thanks for placing this cache, phillipsart. Found in good condition.
{Overall find #1474}

Another warm, golden day of caching in the vicinity of Bundaberg. A beautiful stretch of coastline and an assortment of creative hides made for a great day out.
Thanks to phillipsart.
Thanks to phillipsart.
Followed the track as instructed found GZ. This cache appears to be on private property and should be relocated. There were many muggles watching As the Hound was sent through the fence with pencil in hand to round up the cache, the muggles were watching closely but did not attack, the hound would have stood little chance as they would have been coming out of the sun and would have had him before he knew they were coming. The cows did not appear to be too cranky about the invasion of their paddock. TFTC
I continued up from the neighbouring cache onto this one. I made my way off the beach and up toward the GZ. Ahh a fence. A man does - what a man has to do. Looked left and then right and then went for it. I found the cache, signed the log and bolted to safety. The cache was in good condition. Might need reloacation from the cache owner though. Of course I found a track back that involved me not walking over rocks TFTC phillipsart
Walked along past all the high class houses.
A pleasant walk and then we were surprised as we approached that we had to go through a barbed wire fence.
Soon found the cache when we arrived. TFTC.

Out caching for the day with Green Team 2. Left TB. A new fence has been put up?

1010hrs.Out caching for the day with Guddink. A nice walk along the edge of the ocean. Don't know if the fence is new but looks like private property. Picked up The Travel Slug TB to drop at the 2011 Bundy event. TFTCSL
Found our own car park for this one and headed off in search of cache with Geo-in-laws. After a brief search I had the prize in hand TFTC phillipsart
We have been going to look for this one for ages and as we were out that way for another one decided to have a go. Went through a bush track and skirted a 4 ft snake until we realised that there was a tarred road from another direction.
Not too bad a stroll and the views are well worth while. Took Crime stoppers keyring and left a bracelet. TFTC SL

Had to climb through a barbed wire fence to GZ. Is this cache on private property? Took a 50c piece & left a soldier. TFTC
It was an eventful walk along the coastline to this cache. We saw a hare scramble away ahead of us and found a coconut all ready for breaking open. Great experience for the geokids. Once at GZ we determined that the cache was on the other side of the fence. Not wanting to all traipse through private property we just sent Mr DisSister in to do the retrieval. The sun was almost gone by the time we were finished here so we had a quick dash back along the fenceline detouring past large amounts of water along the way. TFTC
A quick easy find along the track via the golf course. Another beautiful spot. Were surprised that we hd to climb through a barbed wire fence to get to the log. The wire on the fence looked new and a couple of rusty old fence posts had been replaced by new timber ones so maybe the fence hasn't been there long [?]. Not a problem at all for us as one of us could hold the wires apart for the other to climb through, but for solo cachers it may be a bit tricky. Took a TCL keyring and left a car. TFTC. [^]
Located and signed log, We approched this one from Elliott Heads as we could drive along the track which made it closer for us.
