Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
ATTENTION: THIS CACHE IS A WRECK. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND IT AS IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A CACHE. THE FOLLOWING THINGS HAVE HAPPENED: there is no lid - it is full of water - the log book is soaked - it smells horribly horrible!!! I suggest that the owner goes out immediately and fixes it. You might even consider archiving the cache. It's really that bad [xx(]
This cache is a wreck!! [xx(] I found this one after thinking that is was rubbish!! It didn't look anything like a cache! I SUGGEST THAT NO ONE ATTEMPTS TO FIND THIS CACHE!!!

Found this one on a great afternoon, plenty of muggles around - fortunately none to close. took Seabees coin.
There were a few muggles around so we sat and read the history of the Rock Pool. Very interesting. Then casually conducted our search and came up with the goods. T a Christmas Teddy Bear L the SeaBee TV and a Stonehenge pin. SL TFTC Cheers...........Gaztek
930 - 2 for today. Found on 15/01/11 9:55 AM
On the way to GZ found a part of a sistema container. Thought maybe it's been muggled but after reaching GZ and a brief search the cache was located. All OK. TNSLLN

love the medallion so much we went home to get something more valuable to leave in its place!
So near but yet so far - staying with rellies only a couple of minutes walk away, but missed this one as we flew back to UK on 2/1. Next time.....
Put the cache back this morning. The area is pretty littered from NYE and last night's storm has left its mark. (New) Cache is back in the old position. Happy Caching.
Sorry guys, the area is a mess and needs a spring clean. Cache has gone missing, need to find myself first. Will be back,
We were not sure we would find this one. However after working around a few muggles we found this one exposed. We re hid it so it would not be found be the wrong people next time.
Reperio at 1140. Arrived at GZ to find a couple of muggles sitting nearby. Got to searching and scoured as much of the area we could without looking too suspicious, but after 5-10 minutes we gave up the ssearch and climbed back up to the top where lo and behold...the cache was found sitting out in the open completely exposed. We rehid the cache into the niche that it was sitting in front of, but this one may need top be checked at some point. No one usiong the pool today but it looks like a nice way to spend a warm day.
Great location.

Tricky to find. As my 14-year old son noted, GPS coordinates don't indicate altitude. This was higher up the cliff than I expected; in fact, it's easier to find the cache from the top of the cliff. We added a "hello kitty" momento to the cache.
Found the cache few meters away from GZ - out in the open, box opened, clearly been muggled though seems intact, no pen for log book. Have replaced where my gps said GZ was but windy so may be few meters off. Left hockey card. Tftc
Sorry second closer look, lid of box is broken, won't close properly. Definitely needs maintenance.
I have two attempts in the last couple of weeks to find this one but to no avail
couldn't find this one. even went back to the car and looked up the logs to get some clues. but the second trip back there was unsuccessful.
Found it today but entered 9/4 in the cache book . A beautiful day at the beach starting with Mother's Day breakfast at the Strand ...
Lots of green ... took a while to find without attracting interest from other beach goers.
Thank you.

After checking out the local wine and food festival (and ended up eating over the road anyway) we made our way to the baths to see if this was going to be possible on a crowded day like this. After a brief period of looking around I spotted the corner of it, and then just had to choose a time between muggles scrambling up and down the path to make the grab. Took it away to do the signing duties and left a coin. Then back to GZ to pop it back home again at an opportune moment. Nice spot by the water today, thanks mstanger.
Went down to Dee Why to watch the Beachley Classic surfing and to drink some wine at the festival. There was no surf so no surfing and the wine festival is tomorrow...Duhhh. On the way back I remembered this cache that was a previous DNF. This time we didn't have the GPS but found the cache straight away. Signed the book and took the geocoin. Back tomorrow of the surfing and wine!
Nice quick one after a Sunday lunch of fish & chips and watching the geo-boy chase seagulls. Picked up the cache on the way back to the car.
Dropped off a GC I've been hanging on to for far too long, TNSL&TFTC. [:o)]

Needs some serious maintenance after last weeks rain. Took it out and will give it a clean, new log and swaps...
Found quite easy. Container was full of water and log is completely soaked could not write on it. Considering the amount of rain we had am not surprised. Left $1 coin. Thanks
Down to the beach for an early morning surf but there was a gusty westerly wind which flattened the surf to a millpond and there was also a sea full of seaweed so we decided to cache insead. The nearby natural rockpools were great to check out and quite a few little kids were having a lot of fun exploring them too. Great little spot for the cache as it's mostly out of the way a bit and today, even better, out of the wind! Swapped TBs, hopefully Martha will be able to track down Dr Who
Found this with a few youngsters who helped me look. Took the travel bug with an opera house-decorated shoe keychain-thingy attached.
Just dropping off Swappo TB. Our last visit to Dee Why today before returning home to UK, sadly I think it may be some time before we return. Thank you for this cache in one of our favourite locations, somehow our local caches back home don't hold the same appeal for TB exchanges. Cheers.
Found by an approach from the top as many enjoyed the water in the rock pool below. TNLN and TFTC.
3213.
Found this one quickly after a bit of a slip and slid down from the top. There were a few people enjoying the nearby pool.
Thanks mstanger for the cache.

I couldn't get over the amount of people swimming when it was raining. Dont they know they'll get wet...... Jokes aside.
The cache was found after a quick slippery slide down the hill.
TNLN Thanks

Good to get outdoors between showers on a rainy christmas break
Watch out for the parking cops round here, they are very officious. You can park on the street without having to buy a ticket and it is not too much further to walk.

One of our favourite spots to visit when we come over from the UK. Really pleased to find a cache here, dropped off some trackables whilst we were here as it's time to move on. May return over the next month for some more TB's in/out. Cheers
a good find one of our favourite places dropped off freemantle mission and king R4
Looks like someone had partied well near this cache. Had to clear quite a few bottles, cans, etc to get to this one but cache nice and safe. Great spot. Thanks.
A quick and easy find after a coffee and watching the surfers, very hot day so had to stop and rest rather than rush back and do something useful!!!!
Left a UK 2p, a TB and crocodile, took TBs. TFTC

Quite a bit more muggles than you'd think. But still a nice easy find nonetheless. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found while on holiday from England visiting my son and future daughter-in-law in Dee Why, walked from " Wild Wingala " cache to this one, found with no problems in a lovely location, nice hide, Thanks for the cache.
A nice sunny day means lots of people at Dee Why beach. enjoyed having a look in the rock pools in the area.
Why did you pick this beach dad,
Why did you bring us here
Why not Narrabeen or Colleroy
Why this place, why would you steer
There’s a cache here son, that is why
No cache in Narrabeen or Colleroy
And a cacheless beach is a crap beach
Ok so just a little white lie
Thanks for the swim
Thanks for the cache,
Thanks for the view
Dad’s rock and always win!

quick lunch visit to check on the cache and take some trash out (it's really terrible... used underwear, seriously?!)
everything in order, the log book needs a new bag and a few trackables have gone missing, i'm afraid. - happy caching

Lovely location. Was a bit worried I might touch some of the discarded items near the cache, such as the undies but went for it.
Yikes... There were quite a few people up top having the morning coffee and reading the paper.
What makes caching easy is when the container is left exposed and in plain sight.
Log signed and the cache was replaced and covered over.
I relieved some of the pressure on the lid by taking some of the trackables.

Nice easy find in an enjoyable location, thanks. Pity about all the rubbish. Took gingerbread man, left a 12 sided dice.
Navig8ers took the travel bug, and pack of cards.Replaced with faith rock , small rubber and nail.
Didn't find it, too many muggles. The waves were giant, and they all sat on the rocks watching. Searched for an hour but still couldn't find it. Thanks anyway!
Great spot and my two year old loved all the toys! He took a a crocodile and a little red sports car. We dropped off a motorcycle travel bug and geocoin and a matchbox car. The golf ball geocoin came all the way from the US so hopefully it will tour around Australia for a while. Thanks for the fun!
After a short search, found it watching carefully the workmen at the pool.Left Octopussy GC, took chinese fan coin. SL TFTC
Quick dash to the beach to find everything in perfect order. Lots of garbage around need to come back for some CITO.
A nice quick find during the last rays of light for the day.
