Eleventh stop on a little Bathurst to Orange and return caching trip. Glad I could finally turn this one yellow. TFTC

Out for a drive today to grab a cache, and pulled up right next to GZ expecting the cache to be back towards the fence more. It wasn’t until I came back to where I was that I eventually located the cache.

Another find along this back road. Lobe the scenery...the hills, the lack of anyone but me.
Given the location I find it hard to believe the cache has been muggled but there IS a lot more growth than usual. I have put a replacement cache nearer an obvious object and maybe the original will show up later.
Don't you love roadworks! No sign of the cache so replaced it. All ready to go.
Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 3. I am confident the roadworks have covered or removed this cache.
Thanks.

Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 3. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
We had pushed out to the end of the road for me to get the last cache, but as I had been driving no one had looked at the logs. A pity as previous DNFs were there and the cache definately was not.
Thanks.

not sure if its still there with the roadworks that are going on. Looked in a couple of likely places but no luck.
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey out along Freemantle Road then across the river and back to town.
Another nice KellickGuider cache.

Out with RoddyC while in Bathurst house sitting.
Caching to day in the area.
Quick easy find. A change now to cattle country. White faces are watching me.

14910. Found during a run up around the Bathurst region (again) with minniek.
A lovely days caching in a now familiar area. Next stop for the day along this scenic road. Quick find by minniek (thank goodness after the last one !!) Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !!

Another great day for caching with fitzy_1965. Headed up to the Bathurst area to fill in some more gaps.
Quick find here today. PS I think ants have started nesting inside....might be worth checking.

Checked! All OK and waiting to be found. Please make sure camp is carefully replaced.
On my way to the Mega travelling on as many dirt roads as I can so thanks for this placement. A quick find & away.
Nice easy find on the way back to Bathurst from an orienteering event at Ophir. TFTC.

Thanks again, KellickGuider.
This was an easy find, but only because of the aerial imagery... I've been using my iPhone for a while, and after a recent upgrade to iOS6 and Apple maps ;-(, my phone GPS always wants to snap-to the nearest main road, so I couldn't apparently come closer than 20m to this cache... Weird! Anyone else with this issue?

Having a successful day's caching today! Another relatively quick find. TFTC KellickGuider.
Sorry, that was someone else's container. The cache is still safe (and dry!) in its hidey hole.
found the empty tossed about plastic cache container. Another one found muggled for the weekend hunt. 3 in total
Sorry for the late log ! went for a sunday drive and finally found this cachecache is intact log book was slightly damp but no dramas , thanx for the drive
This has gone on way to long ! this cache needs to be listed at the proper coord ! come on to all concerned all have to abide by the rules ! sorry to the CO but this is has to be amended !
THESE ARE THE COORD'S S 33 11.813 E 149 21.815 As has been pointed out to myself the cachers should only have to load the "right" coord

OK Scenic routers! I'll need your help. On Edit Cache it says" You can modify your cache coordinates via a log entry" This is the second time I've done this AND I added to the cache details because after 5 logs it isn't shown on the opening page. What else?
Coordinates SHOULD BE
S 33 11.813 E 149 21.815
S 33° 17.813 E 149° 21.815

FYI. YOU can only change the cache coords a short distance. If you try to move them further than the system allow you will receive a message asking you to contact the reviewer. This is because the new coords have to be checked to ensure they are legal.

No nasties to the owners ! but please can this cache be listed at the "right" coords,
It was a delightful drive on pleasant back roads, right away from heavy traffic, to reach this cache. Thanks for setting it up, Kellick Guider.
Yes, the map is out but the revised coordinates are at the bottom of the cache information. I misread my own writing originally. The cache is still safely hidden at the amended coords - checked yesterday.
Coords put this in the middle of the never never ! good for one it's good for all ! might want to look at this one riblit !!
A while ago Budokan in NZ was doing stats for the two of us and we decided on a challenge. GSAK stats show which dates of the year you have cached. If you have never got a cache on Feb 29th then the earliest opportunity to complete the challenge is Feb 2012. The deal was struck to see if it can be done. Budokan has been busy too.
Today was Geowifes birthday and in the next 2 years it falls on weekdays so I would be very limited in caching on those days. Forward thinking indeed, but a date crossed off.
When I ran this past my better half she was up for the cache run. It is a nice drive out there and on reaching GZ we had a quick find. So a good birthday find, which topped off what has been a great day. Time for a cool drink to celebrate, geowifes birthday of course.

Found on the way home, always great to finish up with a drive by. Funny thing is was only out this way a couple of weeks before they where published.
JABs.

Found it ! I have been watching this one since it was published and had made the assumption that the middle of a paddock was not a lilely spot. Based on the cache name and the name of a nearby location to the North, I had concluded that the coords contained a simple typo. This was confirmed by a recent log. So it was with a much swelled head that I headed out to find the cache right where I had predicted. Gee I love this game. Took geocoin. SL TFTC

We had the same experience as Code1, in that we tried the listed co-ord's from numerous ways but all to no avail. After an email to the owner we got the correct co-ord's a week ago but just didn't have the time to go and find the cache until today.
This is close to where we looked also on our last trip - just goes to show that geocachers do sometimes think alike.

Our maps showed the likely roads to go to this cache, but with the fear of buck shot in the bum we did not continue.
Can the owners please post a note to say all is good ??

Armed with the updated co-ords we took a late Sunday afternoon drive just to get out for a bit. Found straight up about 20m from where we had looked on the previous trip. There are some nice views to be had along this road so anyone coming this way take your time and enjoy the drive.
Thanks KellickGuider for the *FTF* and prize. No luck with this one but the one from "Banjo" was a winner.

M is where the new coord goes !! Gowan is where gc's pq put it ! a bit more than 20 ?????
Never said we went anywhere near the previous listed co-ords. We looked on this intersection on the first trip based on the cache name and the locality "GOWAN" being the same and the hint, ie around the signs and other things that could be reached from the road.
Apologies to all. Due to a transcription error (couldn't read my own writing!) the coordinates are wrong. They should be:
S 33 11.813 E 149 21.815
S 33 11.813 E 149 21.815
Had a bit of a hunt for this one today. Checked a few likely spots in the area i thought it might be give the discription and the hint without any luck.
[Think the Co-Ords might be a little out on this one as It puts you on Private Property.
Could they be checked please.]
