Archiving -- the cache appears to be MIA, and I'm no longer local so I can't maintain it.
This should let someone else place a new one in the same spot -- and I hope someone does, it's a great location.

Looked everywhere but no sign of it. I was tempted to feel around for it under the deck but with number of spider webs under there I thought better of it.
This was a revisit with geo grandkids Ed 4 and Lewie 2 ....Found 18/1/15 but was not logged on correctly then , my mistake!!!! thanks kodas.....
Thorough search, could'nt locate this cache, no activity for a while, maybe its gone.
Beautiful day to be hunting! Quiet spot, beautiful view

TFTC. Out for a Sunday drive and came across this awesome cache, in this lovely spot. Must keep this in mind for a picnic!
What a beautiful place. Perfect for a family bbq. Never even knew it was here. Thanks for bringing us out here (:
Found this so very long ago in the accompany of DiMorgan. This is a great spot & should make a return visit some time.
Sorry for the late log.
Thanks kodos

Since we'd already detoured off the highway we decided to detour a bit more to visit the dam. A lovely recreation area that was being used by no one once the Council workers left. Great views of the water, unfortunately the cache had collected some as well and the logbook was quite wet but luckily signable. TFTC kudos.
We met family members here for lunch after the event at North Brother and looked at the GPS, just out of interest and we didn't know there was one here. The cache was spotted quickly and we left it for the nephews, only just introduced to geocaching the day before, to locate and extract the cache.
Thanks kodos

Found with earthly65 and brad1987 on our caching long weekend in Port Macquarie....TFTC
Our final day in Port we headed to the pacific highway the other way out. with a slight detour back around we eventually made it home. Found with earthly and robbieracer thanks for the cache. Quick find. Thanks
Caching in the rain this Australia Day....already wet, muddy, and each nursing multiple wasps stings before we got out of the car so the rain no longer bothered us as we made our search ha, no muggles mad enough to be here on such a day so no stealth required ....beaut location for a cache, thanks for bringing us here kodos...found with robbieracer66 and brad 1987 as we round up our Australia Day long weekend of caching in Port.
Nice and quiet spot, haven't been here in years since coming up for a Girl Guide bike hike #Girlguidesgoplaces TFTC
12:00 We expected this spot to be very busy on such a nice weekend day in school holidays, but there were only two other people here. They were not looking our way so we were soon onto it. TFTC kodos
Easily found and a good location. Beautiful view of the dam. Found early in the morning with nobody else in sight.

Really easy find as cache was in plain sight! Texts was dry as lid was missing so BYO pen...TNLNSL. Replaced cache & covered it a bit better, hopefully it won't be muggled! Beautiful place!! TFTC.
Lovely location lived in this area for 15 year and never new this was here cache was here
Nice easy find (a little too easy - cache was very visible). Didn't feel we could change the location but used a little camo. TFTC

On our way to Wauchope to meet the train, did a quick detour into Cowarra Dam to find this cache.
Had a friend showing him geocaching, so he was down on his knees & found the Zip Bag.
We have replaced the container, log & included a few swappables.
This would be a great spot to come for a BBQ.
Thanks kodos

Container and log missing, just pens and geocache tag remaining in a ziplock bag.
Had been out here once before but that was before my caching days began. TFTC x] The Eyles Crew
Found it after waiting for muggles to finish their BBQ 3rd cache today nice find TNLN
0925 GAFF1 Was reminiscent of a couple of years ago when I was trying to find the Dam Challenge the first time.
Left: Yoda, and another bag for the new log book.
Thru: coins & shirt
(No sign today of the Challenge)

Thought i logged this already, Found with the geowife quickly as there were no Muggles around today.
Last time i was out this way we were fighting a bush fire and the dam was just a giant hole in the ground.
I cant remember what i left or took but i signed the log.

Spotted by the youngest GeoKid on a quiet morning. As already mentioned, log is wet, but GeoDaughter managed to scratch our name in there. TFTC.
Found the cache quite easily, what a lovely view, great spot for a bbq.
Couldn't find the micro clue, is it still there?

Look under all the decks in the area, it was no where near where we first looked. The log book was really wet and hard to read or write on. Left a pen as there wasn't anything in there to write in the log book with.
Found It!, Nice morning for a lengthy bike ride!, the cache is waterlogged, with the logbook being to wet to sign

Thank you for bringing us to this amazing place, we just loved it. The log was too wet to sign and needs replacing. TNLN
Very wet...Dried it out as well as we could but log book may need replacing.
Found cache but was difficult to retrieve...but we didn"t give up!! Log book very wet so left note on separate piece of paper. TFTC!
Found with Bedmaker.
We should have read the cache notes first because we tried to get to it from Rangers Apprentice throught the state forest and ended up on paved road to the dam after an interesting, but fun, drive through the bush.
This was a beautiful spot to come for a picnic.

Found with TassieGirl on our way home while on holidays.
After doing Rangers Apprentice we thought we'd have a bit of adventure so drove through the state forest to make our way here.
After about 30mins of 4x4ing we finally hit a paved road and were on our way to the dam.
There's probably an easier way here but certainly not as much fun.
Once at GZ we had the whole place to ourselves.
Had a look around at all the info and views then wandered over and grabbed the cache.
The log was very wet but we just managed to add our names.

Came with geofriend who had found this one previously and did not find it even with a GAFF5! Could have something to do with the upgrade of the gardens out at the dam site. All in all, geofriend is certain the cache was removed along with tons of weeds that recently graced the area with their presence. Makes sence to me as I have tried to find this chache on earlier occassions.
13/03/11 11:30 Found this one with the help of Wombat1.
This is very tricky with the muggles around & after some searching it was quickly in our hands
Just enough time for a signing & move on.
took nothing left nothing
Happy Hunting

Found this while returning from a weekend hike on the south side of bago with Andrew_Ally_and_Kids.
Heaps of muggles picnicing here this afternoon.

First find for the GEOKIDS!! They were so exited! I think we have a new pastime
The iphone makes it hard though.
Took 3 gold balloons and left the matchbox car.

I was working in Kings Creek area and visited this wonderful Water storage a week or two before this one got listed. Finally came back to find the caches in this picnic ground.
This one didn't pose too much of a challenge today but really enjoyed the visit.
TNLN thanks for the hunt Kodos

Made the short walk from Corrawa Dam Challenge to grab this cache. Great view of the dam from up here.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Tnln. I replaced where hint said it was going to be. Ducked in just before closing time. Tftc cheers
Found within metres of Cowarra Dam Multi. Not exactly where nominated, but easy find if you hunt around under deck. Just finished undisturbed hunt, when 4 car loads arrived on a car rally. Cache rehidden undetected. Warm, clear Hastings day.
found this cache with clues only on a rainy day. good find and hint is great. was concerned about replacement as description indicates - didn't want to lose it and wreck the fun fof fellow geocachers. left fiona and took nothing signed log.
Found it with my second attempt. I think the co-ordinates were a little bit out, but by expanding my search area I eventually discovered it. I had previously found the Cawarra Dam Challenge on my last visit and it is surprising just how close together they are! Beautiful day to have a BBQ and enjoy the serenity! TFTC!
Found this cache very shortly after doing the other cache here. It was a lovely day to be out caching and this is a good spot. TFTC.
Decided on the way home today to have a go at this cache. I had previously done Cowarra Dam Challege but missed this one. Didn't think there would be anyone out here on a Friday arvo but I managed to disturb a young couple who looked like they resented my presence. Found the cache very easily in the end and made a quick get away so the young ones could go back to "getting busy"
Found at 4.10pm GAFF1. Love coming back to this dam, it's so tidy and peaceful. Apparently the water in the dam is pumped in from the river at Wauchope?
Finding the cache was a bit tricky as the GPS was indicating a lower level, but then a wider search resulted in the cache being found in an unexpected spot.
Do you know that this cache is just 2 metres from Cowarra Dam Challenge - which is still there!
So future cachers, make sure you find the right one.
Thanks kodos.

Verified that this cache is not only still in place, but is apparently untouched, and is still happily sealed against the elements. While you're here, try Cowarra Dam Challenge (GC1VPMJ) as well.
The cache is apparently long gone, and I haven't been able to get back to replace it. Archiving at coldzero308's request, so he can place caches nearby.
1500 - 1550 Was looking actively under the boards, and thought I'd found the cache, but was just a spray paint tin. Found a blue Kilometrico pen that couldn't have fallen through cracks, and a couple of volleyballs. BUT, no sign of the cache !!
Instructions could also include to come in from Kings Creek Road, as this was the third attempt, and a Mazda Metro isn't supposed to go four-wheel driving, as that was the only tracks showing on Tracks-4-Australia.
Thanks for getting out to here, will be very happy to come back, now I know how to.
