Tftc Youngoldfella, from our camp at Mingo Crossing we headed in to Mt Perry for lunch and a few caches! Lunch was tasty and all was good with the caches too.Beautiful views
Beautiful scenery from this spot. We always enjoy visiting here. Clever hide. Were pleased to find the area near GZ had recently been slashed- an admirable effort on such a steep slope. Had two campers set up there so had to enact stealth mode. Tftc.
Well I made that harder than it needed to be. A bit sneaky and well hidden. Coords were good so trust them. My sister was the finder again Finished in Bilo and catching a couple of counties on the way north. Been a great roadtrip.Time to visit Qld again. Up visiting family and doing some small road trips. Thanks for getting me out and about youngoldfella
Had very little in the way of cell signal here, so just used caching instinct and found it with no problems. Lovely views a little smoky but still beautiful. TFTC!
On a cold windy day in November - Lou Lou Roo, Bandito86 and Janine M had a gorgeous view a top a rock! An easy find, mind the Roos on the drive up to the look out.
Today, I embarked on an adventurous quest to find the cache a hidden relic of geocaching history tucked away amidst the breathtaking backdrop of these majestic mountains. It was no ordinary find; this cache had stood the test of time, waiting patiently for the next intrepid geocacher to stumble upon it. The journey to the coordinates was a rewarding challenge in itself, and when I arrived at the designated spot, With a keen eye and the spirit of adventure as my guide, I began searching among the rocky terrain. After a bit of careful exploration, I managed to spot the elusive cache. It was a testament to the enduring spirit of geocaching, a time capsule from years past. Inside, I discovered a logbook, its pages filled with the names and stories of fellow geocachers who had ventured here before me. I eagerly added my own geocaching username and the corrected coordinates to the logbook. The view from this vantage point was simply awe-inspiring, a panorama of rugged mountain peaks that stretched as far as the eye could see. To the cache owner, I extend my heartfelt thanks for creating this enduring treasure and for leading me to this remarkable viewpoint. It's encounters like these that make geocaching an adventure like no other, where the journey is just as rewarding as the find itself. As I departed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with the geocaching community and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Happy caching, and may your geocaching adventures be as fulfilling as this one!
Just poking around the district & came for a drive to the lookout. Looked around & thought that would be a good spot for a cache, so I looked it up & yep, there it was. Grass is all cut & neat.

Repositioned hide and replaced the container and log book. You seek a very large Bison style container.

On a round-a-bout way to Longreach, we are. Nothing strange about that now, is there?
Well, if it was a YOF cache, we had to take out chances. Buffeted the long grass to do so.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 7.55 am on Saturday, 20th May 2023. TFTC, youngoldfella.

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Found it and what a view Thanks for the cache
Wow , what a great view here. I found the cache when i saw a SPOR, then i enjoyed the view. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Muggles in the carpark meant a theatrical performance in sightseeing. Easily spotted and retrieved once at the correct level. TFTC
Our first find, it was closest one to our home so had to go see if we could find it. Did not disappoint.
Fantastic view and cache is in great condition with the original log book still going strong. 5 minutes to locate the cache and 55 minutes to remove the cobblers pegs and spear grass.
What a beautiful view of Mt Perry. Unfortunately we did not fi d the cache here today, it seems the GZ is being used as a impromptu toilet by I would say a number of people. Toilet paper and human waste meant our search was cut short.
Haven't had much luck today so pleased to see this one was still here. Found with NutCacheBNE
Beautiful look out with lovely mountains surrounding the area but may I suggest re-hiding the cache….A lot of pigs have decided this is a good place use as a toilet and it was not very nice going down there
Found with GeoDad GeoChris18.
Do not mix tracksuit pants with in season spear grass.

Out for a few days driving around and having visited the delightful township of Mt Perry we are here now checking it out from above. A Beautiful view, and a nice quick find in the obvious spot. No other issues for us today here, a nice spot and hide all round.
Thanks Team Fuddley ( Adopted by youngoldfella) for entertaining me at this location.

I checked this cache last week and cleaned up the area a little. There are not that many places to move this one to in close proximity. This is not the first time this area has been used for a toilet stop but there is nothing I can do to prevent that other than archive the cache and I do not want to do that just yet as it has been he since 2009. In all that time 11 years people do do the wrong thing ( Not Geocachers).
Tried to find it but the amount of human waste and toilet paper made it impossible.
So sorry but someone is using this area as a toilet. This makes it a definite no go area. Maybe consider moving the cache away from the toilet site?
The area around GZ is being used as a toilet. Crap and tp on the rocks so walked away. A shame.
A cache like this is one of the reasons I love geocaching - I never would have come to check out these amazing views otherwise! Finding the cache was another story, we were led astray by the clue but Boofhead86 managed to come up with the goods while I was wandering no where near GZ. Took in some more of the views then on to the next cache.

This cache is worth a visit. Wonderful views of the town and surrounding area. Once I found the cache after a wild goose chase. We sign the log and returned the cache.

While staying with my parents at Binjour, my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to go to Mt Perry and do a few caches. I hadn’t been to Mt Perry in about 25 years. This one took us quite a while to find. A previous log to dig deep helped us to find it. Great views. TFTC!
There is a fabulous view from this GZ. The cache was found quickly. Love caching in Mt Perry.
TFTC. It is great to be caching in this beautiful part of the country.
Had a good old hunt around to find the cache.
Thanks Team Fuddley for placing the cache.

1minniemoo,nyssaflutterby,1giantpanda and I had a weekend away planned, we had to change thing a little at the last minute due to the weather. The weather looked good up this way and it was!
Saying goodbye to Bundy now and on to our return journey, though not in the typical Bundy_brissie fashion of course!
Great views from here today, though there was a fire to the north.
The cache took us a while to locate but eventually NF found it.

On our home bound journey now after heading to Bundaberg for the weekend, we detoured via the Boolboonda Tunnel and decided to head home via this route instead.
My phone seemed to think there was a road where there wasn't on the way up to the Lookout, but we followed the proper road and soon arrived.
I expected this to be a slightly easier find than it was, but I also expected it in the rocks above this. Anyway we found it without too much searching. Gorgeous views here on this clear day - although there seemed to be quite the fire out Agnes Waters way.
Thanks for the cache Fuddley.

TFTC. We are slowly making our way to Bundaberg for a housesit. After driving from Monto this morning we settled into the Mt Perry Caravan Park. after lunch we headed out to do some exploring using geocaching as a guide.
This took us longer than it should have. I missed it on my first search in the most likely location. Had to go a little deeper.

Wow, even in the rain cloud and fog, the view is pretty darn cool.
And the fog/clouds added to the ambience.
Thanks for showing us here!
Found about three in the pm with offroadcaveman.

I was in the area grabbing older caches - and this one was on my radar.
As is par for the course, the car GPSr had a totally different idea where the road went up was. I pulled up at GZ to find it abandoned. Excellent.
The smartphone would not settle down. It did, however, kindly lead me through a cobblers peg patch I eventually found where I was supposed to be and was soon signing the log. The cache was in good condition.
Some great views to be had from here. TFTC Fuddley

We were in the area for a day of geocaching (what better way to spend Australia Day). The views from up here are stunning. Thanks Fuddley for bringing us here. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
