Quick find here. No pen on me so have taken a photo of the logbook as evidence of my find. Greetings from Perth. Tftc
This was my next stop on my caching journey through the Lower North Shore. In my childhood I had often come to this part of North Sydney and so this was rather nostalgic, and I remember being fascinated by this sculpture whenever we drove past it. Little would I have known that in the future there would be a cache hidden there!Coords are spot on and it's exactly where you think it is (don't worry, it's not inside the sculpture). TFTC!(Logged under my previous username, 'hjckrau'.)
Great spot but lack of pen meant I couldn't sign, will have to stop by again another time hopefully with less people around!
Cool quick find, spotted it early on but let Mum get the joy by spending a few extra minutes before having it in hand. TFTC!
TFTC! Very quick find, nice place! A couple of muggles looked at us a bit weirdly haha...
Spent way too long hunting around the tail of the serpent rather than the head, my GPS was definitely confused around here. Once I realised that the serpent was longer than I had thought, it was a quick find. A nice and sneaky urban cache and worth a favourite point for bringing us to to this spot and fantastic sculpture.
Once I located the name , the cache wasnt far away .nice spot to put a cache . TFTC
second DNF avenged of the night! once again, i dont know HOW i missed it the first time. Definitely easier when there are less onlookers aroundTFTC!!
Today was wet and rainy day, but that did not stop me and batapus from doing some weekend caching. After doing some soccer at Cammeray, we walked down Merlin st to our first cache. This was 4/5 for today, we approached GZ, but the coords were not updating keep telling us that we were on the other side even though we were next to the wall. Anyway despite the coordinates difficulties, we checked BOTH rocks, but then once we checked the right one, it was another easy find for me again where now it stands 3-1 to me!Now it was on to the final cache of the day at North Sydney station.#142 TFTC!!
Nice discovery after a cafe break nearby. Revisiting a place of Sydney that I last worked there more than 3 decades earlier!
maybe just having a bit of an off day, couldnt figure this one out. hides so out in the open always make me nervous that somebody is going to come and tell me off haha, ill have to wait till i can bring along some less skittish friends
Easy find, geocaching feeling more and more like my materials sciences class with these urban cachesTFTC
Day 2: Lane Cove and North Sydney
Today’s plan was to strike north of the Harbour for two main reasons: to get the Lane Cove Virtual and to find a Letterbox cache in Sydney. The weather was lovely today, and despite walking almost 25k steps, it really didn’t feel like it, and I return to the city a really happy cacher
(End of the cut and paste section)
A quick little find in the only logical spot. Again, all quiet today, so this was pretty easy all round. Can’t seem to “see” the serpent in the sculpture, though, but thanks for showing nevertheless. TFTC!

Took a while for the coordinates to settle but once they did it was a good find TFTC
Found, but unfortunately, there is no pen with us today. Our compass is also way off, but read the description, and you can't go wrong.
Glad to have found this one. My compass was terrible. The cache appears to have been where it should be, given the description. I'm assuming it must be the buildings here in Sydney. Not used to this in South Australia. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Geomum is spending a few days in North Sydney doing a course. Came out to find this one at lunch time. The occasional muggle did not hinder the search. An easy find in a location that was a little too open to muggles, so replaced cache in a less conspicuous spot. TFTC!

Super EZ! 1st place I checked, I think it might be my quickest find yet! Found in 10-20 secDon’t overthink
not sure if it’s been moved, everyone said not to overthink it but it’s proving difficult lol
This was an interesting piece of art here, a quick find here and cache is all good
Today I headed to Sydney for short meeting I needed to attend, with the rest of the day free before my flight home I decided to make my way around caching the north shore before heading back to the city to catch the train. Total of 26,000 for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Finally a chance to turn this DNF (from 23 February 2021) into a smiley and we did it! Over this side of the city for the Aussie Women’s One Day International cricket team to hopefully win against Pakistan, because we support women in sport. A great start to the day with a long overdue smiley here!
This took longer than it should have as I was overthinking where it would be. Gave me plenty of time to check out the nice stones. Tftc
Found while out and about with Geoson in North Sydney on a beautiful Sunday. Easy find, with the greatest challenge being avoiding the gaze of a smoker along the path. Eventually she finished and went back inside and I grabbed, logged and returned cache to it's hiding place. Tftc
Quick cache find here. Interesting art. Signed the log and headed for the next cache.

That took a lot longer than it should have done! GPS jumping around all over the place but got there in the end! Tftc
Very simple one. We over thought it and that’s the only reason it took a good minute. Love this cache

Quick find to finish off our day of caching. It helps to come to this one on a Saturday afternoon as the normally busy area is very quiet. TFTC.
A quick search and the cache was located! Had to watch out for all the potential uni students doing registration around the area. TFTC.
took a few tries but ended up at the wrong spot. didn’t have a pen on me but easy find.

Visiting a friend for a few days who lives nearby so thought I would try again to find this cache since our DNF in 2015.
Having looked at the photos and previous logs I thought I had a good idea where the cache might be. Sure enough had it in hand in now time. SL then returned as found.
Found on 7 May 2022. TFTC, Gaztek.
