A very enjoyable day caching towards Talisker and Cape Jervis from Middleton grabbing any caches we passed which we hadn’t already found.
Certainly was a special find…a great way to finish the day and another favourite point on it’s way.
Many thanks for the hide NormyCrew????

#16391 - 1:20:00 PM; Arrived in Normanville last night with the geohoney and today we set off on a bit of touring down to Cape Jervis and then on to Victor Harbour. Stopped for some caches along the way on a cool and sometimes drizzly day. No problems here and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Adding a fave for the ingenious use of available materials TFTC NormyCrew-EllistonCrew
My last find before heading into Victor.

Owl, Sushilord and JJ52 had been planning an expedition for a while, with a target cache a puzzle the Owl and the Dragon had been working on for a while. That done they concentrated on caches all 3 hadn't found - including this one - and an enjoyable afternoon of caching followed. The views in this area were fantastic.
A trip down to Victor and surrounds was organised with Doctor Owl and sushilord to find a few caches that none of us had found. We had a fun day driving some cool back roads and picking up a variety of cache types and even managed a nice lunch to break the day up. [^]
We spotted the hide as we walked towards GZ and the cache was soon retrieved and the log stamped.
Thanks for the cache Normy Crew.

Caching down south with Dr Owl and JJ52 was the aim of the day. After meeting up with JJ52 the serious caching and fun and games started.
The hide was easily spotted and the cache easily found.
Thanks for the cache NormyCrew-EllistonCrew.

Drove south for a seachange caching day with Sebastbat and Jack, not a big numbers day but thinning out the little boxes on our maps. A nice change of scenery and a little cooler down here than back home.
Only really one place it could be, once we made the connection.
Appreciation to NormyCrew for placing and keeping this cache on our SA geo game map

Looking around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Short stop here today cache and contents are all good
We decided last minute to pack the swag into the car and go on an overnight camping trip to deep creek, despite a few touristy things along the way there and back, we stopped to find a few caches out of the way.
Thanks for the cache

7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. With clouds overhead, and some light rain forecast we waited until after lunch to do a short tour today following our GPSr.
Replaced the log here.

A fun adventure after work with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) ! TFTC
Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, I headed out with my household and geocaching buddy [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) for some hiking adventures along the Fleurieu Peninsula. We were also targeting some key geology sites that were good analogs to some of our oil and gas work.
We had a few walks along the ocean checking out some of the sea caves, before stopping off in Second Valley to look at the cliffs and study its marble deposits (a repeated visit for me, but first for [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T)). We had lunch at Normanville, and then headed back south for a few hikes in Second Valley Forest, and Middle Fence Forest, before heading home via Inman Valley. A great opportunity to also have stopped to study Selwyn's Rock (Glacier Rock) nearby. Despite some concern of rain, the day was pretty good with our fitness, but there were some cold winds.
A nice hiding place for this cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks NormyCrew-EllistonCrew for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
We have been on Kangaroo Island for the past two months, but recent fire events have chased us back to the mainland. Camped at Rapid Bay for a week, took a drive to Victor Harbour for an appointment, and cached our way back again.
Sneaky hide, not what I thought it would be but easy find Thanks NormyCrew & EllistonCres

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Found with Astronaut99 and Beaker on a long weekend camping, kayaking and geocaching adventure up the Coorong and all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highlights included seeing hundreds of Pelicans in the Coorong, Jellyfish in the crystal clear waters at Victor Harbour/Port Elliot, visiting a sea cave, and waking up in our swags on Australia Day to see the silhouette of kangaroos! Thanks
Found with FerociousFlea and Astronaut99 on our trip around the Fleurieu Peninsula for the Australia Day LWE. It was certainly a hot one!!

Greetings from Brisbane . Having never visited SA before, a weekend trip to Adelaide was planned to see the sights and find some special geocaches you have hidden here.
Day 2: An early start was made to head into the Adelaide Hills before visiting McLaren Vale, Cape Jervis and then down to Victor Harbour. With a few hours of daylight left, I headed back into the city for a few more smilies, then climbed a hill to watch the sun dip below the horizon .
Not what I was expecting, but the GPS saud it was *there* so that's where I checked, and bingo it was there.

#2907 Enjoying a warm sunny day exploring the area and picking up the odd cache. We found this cheeky hide quickly, because there wasn't really anywhere else to hide it . TFTC NormyCrew-EllistonCrew.
My first guess was correct but had to look around some before coming back to it and discovering the cache.
