No luck today after an extensive search, we even widen our perimeter. Thanks for the views anyway.
Had no luck with this one today. We searched every nook and cranny and were very careful not to tread on any flora. Thanks anyway Cracked Pepper. Great spot!
Found after short search and then walked down to the beach to check out these waves. TFTC
Nice easy find with yet another beautiful view-we are lucky to live in such a beautiful place:)
Found with jocada13, after following our noses when we lost signal. Thanks for bringing me to another part of Portland I don't remember coming to before.
Found it great view down to the beach

There were plenty of waves today and even a paraglider to dodge as we searched. TFTC.
I was in Portland for the day to do some caching. I took the 2WD along this road, it was a bit rough. The light was fading at this point, but there was still enough light for me to make my way to GZ and locate the cache. TFTC Cracked Pepper and to Bunyil for replacing the wet log.
Good spot for a cache. Sadly there were no waves to be had on the day that I found this
Found it at 11.15 am, cache was full of water, logbook was soaked and unusable, have replaced logbook, with new one and placed some dry swaps, everything that was wet, is in other plastic bag in the cache, included the old logbook.
Find number 999, just got out of the area before a few muggle body surfers turned up. TFTC
Found whilst visiting Portland on a very hot day..Love caching this historic area..Great spot..! TFTC
The road to this cache was in a pretty poor state, we thought it best to park at the top of the hill and walk the roughest part, it seemed like I'd been walking up and down hills all day. Hawk eyed tarshawk spotted the hide from the track, making for a quick find, followed by a walk back up the hill. Did I mention how great the bay looks from here. tnln sl tftc
Interesting find here today whilst dodging the fisheries....hmm suppose that's what you get on the Easter long weekend. Always a great view here. Not sure how or why you'd try driving down here though. TFTC.
Found while enjoying a few days down Portland way before everyone heads back to work and school. Today we headed down to Cape Nelson and collected a few caches. The bot flies added a couple of points to the difficulty but the view was magic.

Didn't even know this beach was here .. a hidden treasure .. tftc .. left frog, took bird keyring )
ADDED TRAVEL BUG for someone to start it's journey!!! It wants to go to Queensland.
Visited our "spot" to check our Box. Has been out there 3+ years now, 40 People have enjoyed the view and we've added 2 people to our TEAM. Turns out down at the beach the march flies think they're January flies and have turned up in force and with 4 bodies to protect an only 2 sets of effective swatting arms, Team Cracked Pepper + 2 mini peppers quickly high tailed it back up the hill away from the flies.

DOn't know about the waves but the track in was wicked!! Probably not the cache a person my age and with my arthritis should try at night!!! But had heaps of fun, except for the enormous bug that attacked us!!! TFTC
A nice easy find found whilst walking the GSW walk. Thank you cracked pepper. TNLN
Found with Fred6603 on a stopover on our GOR trip.

TNLNSL TFTC Cracked Pepper,

My Favourite cache in the area. It was near sunset when i found it, and it was so serene. what an awesome place.
We're on a trip around the world, now for three months in Australia. Today we did some coastal exploring on our way to port fairy. Nice view. TFTC, greetings from Holland.
The waves looked pretty wicked from GZ today. Found with a muggle cousin after visiting relatives, a lovely spot for a cache and very memorable. TFTC.
Surfers returning up the hill to their car confirmed that conditions here are "awesome". Though one voiced his doubts that he liked the windmills here.
Found today by RSF1010, who appreciated the concern for the fragile nature here and that no vegetation needed to be trampled during the search and retrieval of the cache.
TFTC and the great views

The wicked waves were quiet today, in fact it was an idealic scene looking out over the bay.
Thanks for bringing me here Cracked Pepper.

Used a previous finders coords for the road in as the sign was missing for an easy drive to GZ, waves were quite flat today but the scenery was spectacular TNLN TFTC
Like the last log, my Garmen tried to take me up the private property track. Decided to drive a bit further and found the road to GZ that the Garmen said did not exist! Lovely view and a great beach. A nice easy find. Thanks for showing me this place. TFTC
We attempted this one last night as the sun was setting but the Nuvi wanted us to travel up a road that was private property. We headed off to find another way one but somehow missed the entrance so we decided to leave it and return this morning. Today we returned with SuperPop and had a lot more luck finding the correct way in and were very impressed with the views at gz. Even though it was very still and the waves were far from wicked it was still a good Kodak moment, we know it is an area that we will be returning to. The GPSr led us directly to the cache location and the container was located after a brief search

Calm, calm, calm, and foggy - this place is not living up to its name today.
Could only just see the water from GZ.
Tripped down to the lighthouse, it looked interesting with the fog swirling around. Wouldn't be much use to shipping today though.
The road sign has gone from the main road, so future searchers will have to keep an eye out for the road.
Thanks, Robmc.

Great spot for a cache with a location that is both eco and cacher friendly. No need to trample anything here. A nice quick find on a stinking hot day.

Found by Mary & David at 0815. One of those caches where the views take your breath away. Hints of sunlight peeped out from leaden grey skies to accentuate the amazing colours of every shade of green imaginable in the vegetation. The sun also picked out the white foam breakers, the darker rocks beneath and the many colours of the ocean. Our thanks to Cracked Pepper.
TomTom had no idea how to get here so common sense had to prevail. This sure is one lovely beach! Very tempting to go in! Cache was found easily very close to the track, Thanks Cracked Pepper.
Congratulations Team Cracked Pepper your first cache is a beauty!
Caches like this one, are the main reason I got hooked on caching...going to special places that aren't widely know or published. This beautiful secluded beach is only 10 minutes from my home, yet I didn't know you could drive this close it, this easily, in fact I've even tried to find a way here, and been locked out by gates at private property.
Bucket Boy and I spent over an hour on the beach and clambering over the northern headland, before leaving as darkness descended.
Left a purple pen and took the travel bug.
Thanks for bringing me here Cracked Pepper
