Drove through the area again today and see this one is still disabled a month later. Will it be making a return?
A trio of animals, a Rat. Mule and Starfish, were out on the weekly Wednesday wandering.
We had many laughs and adventures.
We searched high and low here and there. but the cache remained elusive.
Will return another day.

Great little spot away from muggles. My daughter found it easily. Left a trackable. TFTC!
NIce walk around the lake as geopartner stayed with Izdog as grass a bit scratchy. Nice area. Made a bit of a dog's breakfast of this one looking in nooks and crannies but then looked back and saw the large container for the smilie. Thanx
What a nice secluded spot in the middle of town. With a slight bit of muggle and rain dodging i managed fo find this one quite quickly without drawing too much attention. TFTC
A little overgrown, found it eventually on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon! TFTC
TFTC took a while but finally found once we hit right place. Great to explore after our picnic and footy kick. Shame its been let go
Came looking with geokids after footy match. At least we won something!! Tfgc
# 1634 - On the road with Triciac2 from Qld to SA we try to find a cache (or two ) at every stop.
Doing the tour of the Fleurieu Peninsula we passed through Yankalilla today. Beside stopping for a cuppa we also went for a walk and found this cache. We made the walk a lot longer than necessary, as we didn't know where the entrance to the park was. Finally found it, and the cache as well.

With Dutchie1950 travelling through. Going now to get a pie for lunch. The country side is looking great. Tftc
Off for a drive along the Southern caching map with Purrfect Di, < Alex > , and Jack.
Di found this one after much searching through the run down area.
Such a shame it's been let go. Would have been a lovely spot for a picnic once.

We enjoyed a nice stroll over to this cache, and spent a while looking around the area, which is very neglected. Someone obviously made this area nice at some stage, but it's been let go now.
The cache was found in about the fourth location we checked. All nice and dry inside the container.
Thanks NormyCrew.

Found on a great day caching the Fleurieu with Pony1966. Looks like this used to be a lovely picnic spot, is unfortunately rather overgrown now. TFTC
Took a few minutes to find with all the overgrowth.
Had a guardian watching over it today (pic)

Found on my way to picking up my daughter. I had to do a U turn when I realised the cache was on the other side of the creek. The cache is in good condition but the garden needs a clean up. TFTC
We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville. Day 6 - we decided to take look at the caches around the Inman valley area north to Myponga. We found 24 caches of our trip which started at around 9am and finished around 4.30pm. Tomorrow we leave for a day in Adelaide before flying back to Brisbane at night.
Took us a while to figure out how to get to this cache, but we did. enjoyed the walk across the hockey fields, then came across the area around GZ. Re-read the description: we had trouble finding a visible lake of any description, and there were no ducks - but hundreds of white sulphury-crested galahs. They were about the only bit of activity around here. Would have liked to know why the stoneworks and the large wooden seats were placed here - a (possible) plaque is missing (see photo)
After all that, we located the cache - it is OK. On the way back, Mrs RoddyC stopped to admire a big old gum tree, and to take a snapshot - as she often does of trees she likes to look at because of their beauty.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 9.50am on 30th November, 2016. TFTC

found with sir_spectre for the day. He got 6 finds, I got 33 finds and 0 dnfs. nice easy find and luckily there was no muggles at nearby oval. Did see a duck on the lake too.
well last time I was here I got all the rest of the caches around yankalilla and by the time it came to do this one the rain had increased from light to heavy to raining ducks so I pulled the pin on finding it. This time I had jacknor with me and no rain so the cache was soon in hand.
Not much of a lake here today but I guess you get that at the arse end of summer. TFTC.
Enjoyed the walk past the duck pond, but no ducks there today soon found the cache. TFTC NormyCrew
Hi there NormyCrew.
We found your cache **"PICNIC AT DUCK LAKE"** at 10:29:00 AM today.
This was our 4th find for the day and this makes our find count 12946.
Our cache run today started at a random cache on the map. We then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest etc. & finally ending up with 10 finds & 1 DNFs.
This little area certainly deserves some TLC.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Victorian Travel Flag".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
