Quick find in the logical place. What a gorgeous spot & the perfect place to release a TB with a mission. Please help it on its way! TFTC!0
A wonderful walk along the creek. Stunning! Thanks for bringing me here! SL, Replaced as found,TFTC Ozjeeper
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook
Got close to GZ and thought it was in a different spot originally. Heard two muggles coming so kept walking along which helped me see a Geotrail, so followed it and it lead me to the cache. Nice and dry log
At GZ it was a quick find and the log is completely signable. Not regular but small. TFTC
Could the cache owner please replace the logbook and clean/dry out the inside of the container
Could the cache owner please replace the logbook and clean/dry out the inside of the container
I had to empty a pool of water from the container. The logbook was too wet for me to be able to write on it, so I’ll instead send a photo of the cache to the owner as evidence I found it. Apart from that, this is a pretty good spot for a hide, TFTC
After DNFing oh my Reid I came to ferndale. I saw a very large cat as I was going into the reserve. The cache container seems ok but it was filled with smelly water. I etched my name in the sodden logbook but this one needs some love. It’s a cool spot and very worthy of a cache. I can’t for the life of me get the stink off my hands… wet wipes x2 and nothing. I’m gonna need a shower TFTC!

After a nice lunch in Chatswood, I decided to pick up some of the traditionals in the area.
This was a nice, short walk into a pocket of bushland. Amongst the mossy rocks the hiding location was quickly spotted. Despite being shielded from the elements, the cache container had a lot of water and also the ziplog containing the logsheet was full of water.
As adding my name was not possible, a photo log instead.

Another beautiful afternnon gave us the opportunity for a repeat visit to enable this one after a replacement container and a new logbook had been left. The pencil that we had intended to place in the cache ended up with the guy we met on the trail who had just lost two beagles that he was supposed to be minding ........ but that's perhaps a story for another day.
We paid an afternoon visit to clean the container (see the previous log) and were dissapointed to find that the contaier has been stolen. Disabling this one until a new container can be installed.
A pleasant morning stroll through Ferndale and a quick and easy find. Log is reasonably dry but container has some water in it. TFTC
Wow, this one hasn't been found in a while. Quick and easy diversion off the path, not too difficult to see GZ. Loved the walk. TFTC
A lovely walk through the bush. Cache was a relatively easy find. Thanks for bringing us here!
Visiting a friend I spot yt? Ed this one and thought it'd be a quick grab but wasn't dressed for a bush bash so took the path. Hint led me to the right spot! TFTC. Yet another lovely spot I have passed many times.
A pleasant walk through a glorious green ferny patch of bush to GZ. A quick find, exactly where the hint said it should be.
Beautiful stroll along the creek and soon had cih. Thanks for the afternoon out! Tftc
Well that was a nice surprise. What a gem Ferndale Park is; although I didn't see all the flora and fauna mentioned in the description I did hear lots of bird calls. I entered the park from the end of Ferndale Street and walked the trails around to gz. It wasn't until I got back to the car that I saw how many trails there were through the park, must come back for a wander another time. With the generous hint the cache was quickly found. TFTC and the background of Ferndale Park.
In Sydney from Florida for week #2 of a 6-week ANZ trip. Out picking up a few caches while the hubby works. Love the many birds & their calls. Still yet to identify all of them. Much of the flora is similar to ours at home except for the tree that sheds its bark to show a beautiful off-white bark.
Finally wound my way through the park to the gz. Didn’t walk far enough & had 1 attempt then walked on and went straight to the cache.
Great walk through the park. The huge stand of bamboo near the end of the trail was amazing! Needed some green time after spending 2 weeks in Perth & Sydney/ChatswoodCBD’s.

A nice walk through the forest.
After passing a couple of muggles along the path i made it to the GZ.
Due to an error i made when entering the coords into my GPSr i spent 10 mins searching a site about 20m from the real GZ before checking what had gone wrong.
The error fixed i got to the right spot and noticed the caches hiding spot pretty quick.
I ended up leaving the TB currently in the cache for the next person.
Thanks.

One of my favourite things about Geocaching is being introduced to small pockets of urban bushland that I never knew existed and possibly would have never had the opportunity to visit. I've driven past this area so many times and never knew what was there. Today littlest Geoson were driving past the area, and with a mission to drop off a TB that's been caching with us a visit Ferndale Park fitted in nicely. We both enjoyed the walk through and carried on exploring the tracks once we made a quick find at GZ. SL, dropped Travel Slug off, TFTC and thank you for bringing us to this area Ozjeeper.
Found this cache on a beautiful sunny morning.
What a nice area. Well done CO

This was such a fun cache to find! Thanks for leading me to this reserve. I would never have guessed there was such a big patch of nature in suburban Sydney.

Avoided the muggle dogs for a quick number 10 for the day.

Wow! I had no idea that this beautiful bush was so close to such a busy suburban area. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the cache. TFTC!
A lovely walk on a hot afternoon in the shady fern-filled gully. TFTC ozjeeper
A nice meandering path past a bridge and creek led me to GZ. iPhone bounced a little bit hint helped. TFTC.
This was the thirdof my afternoon, after work, caching expedition. I did the infamous 'Lane Cove' this morning before work, now just some good old regular trads on the fringe of suburbia. This one was in an amazinf little rainforest gully, Sydney seems so lush and green for this Canberra cacher who is used to really dry, dead, bushland, but this one was by far the most rainforesty.... I need to do more caching in sydney! Though the log was a little damp, but I suspect that is because everything in here is a little damp
What a lovely little bush walk with a neat hide at the end.
Log was somewhat damp.

Found quite easily, great to see larger sized geocaches and in such a nice location TFTC
After a few wrong turns and bushbashing we finally found and conquered our Moby Dick! TFTC

Wow - this is a truly beautiful piece of bush in the middle of suburbia. It's so nice to see clear running water and zero rubbish. The local residents and bush care group are doing a wonderful job. Spotted the likely spot on approach and soon had my name in the log. Thanks for bringing me here.

We couldn't find the right path to this one and we were low on time. We seemed to be running around like we were in a maze. We got within 50m but still couldn't find a track to the cache
Oh well thanks anyway for bringing us to this beautiful location

I approached this one from the west and initially I wasn't all that impressed with the walk alongside the golf course. Once I made it into the actual gully area however I changed my tune. It really is quite beautiful, especially in the fading light. I even saw an echidna. The cache itself was easy enough to find. Thanks
I had a most disproportionate amount of difficulty finding this cache. It was not due to the cache itself - which is awesome - but to the fact that I have no sense of direction and got hopelessly lost in a maze of paths which all seemed to go the wrong way. Alice in Wonderland with a touch of Escher. My second attempt. I suck at geocaching but I finally got there! Thankyou ozjeeper!
Beautiful creek!
we just moved to the area and a spot of caching is a perfect way to explore the new surroundings. TFTC

The track was very wet and after following few wrong tracks found the cache. TFTC
Nice walk into this secret valley. Not many places you can actually walk up a streambed without getting wet.

What a wonderful walk along the creek. It was gorgeous with the sunlight peaking through the trees. So peaceful too. Thanks for the cache. I left a fridge magnet in the shape of a turtle with Hawaiian design (straight from Hawaii.)
Yeay Found it
With my sister and niece, on my holiday in Sydney.
A nice walak through there. TFTC

There's lots of very pretty paths in this reserve..... We know because my iPhone send me along every one of them before we found the right approach to GZ ha ha ha !!!
Anyway once we got there we made a quick find.
This really is one of the prettiest woodland walks we've been on

I love caches like this and are giving it a favourite. Really nice walk through the bush to it. It was a quick find and didn't see any trackables in it. Tftc tnln
My iphone GPS was insanely accurate, made for an easier hide than expected. Tftc and the bushwalk!
Parked up on Eddy Rd and followed the trail behind the houses. Amazing walk with a lot of care from bushcare volunteers in a pristine part of Chatswood. Such a wonderful part of Sydney, hidden away.
Thanks ozjeeper for showing me the area

What a beautiful and peaceful piece of land! I took the change to explore a little more the surrounds! The sound of the water running along the path is amazing.
ozjeeper, thanks for bringing me here! Retrieved TB 'Capt. Pirate Faceman' and left TB 'FarmtagZ'. No more TBs in place.

Such a beautiful place, was astonished to find that something so forest-y and serene was just next to Chatswood city. I regret not bringing my camera with me today but perhaps sometimes its best not to have the distraction of it. I walked very slowly, taking in all the nice sounds and smells and sights, with my spider repelling stick whooshing about in front of me. All up, only one jogger passed by, but apart from that I was basically the only one here this fine afternoon. I was extremely worried I would miss this cache as I don't have GPS. I wasn't sure if I had walked too far or too little, so i ended up scrambling about to places I thought it might be. I was pretty much just guessing, using my cache intuition! In the end, I found it, which was actually a huge surprise...I was sure I'd fail. Dropped in the Pirate dogtag TB. Please take good care of it, it's come a long way!
Thanks for bringing me here, Ozjeeper!

Great urban cache. I highly recommend coming in from 'Upstanding Citizens' and finding the rail to river trail. Bird's galore and a beautiful walk along the creek. Cheers!
