Not the work of local bush regeneration people. The more likely candidate would be the person living in the nearby rock overhang.
Upon investigation of the camp I found items the suggests to me they were the cache contents.
This one has gone to the big cache in the sky.

Returned today armed with some alternate coordinates from a previous log. Still no success. I see a lot of places that could be a good hide, but am still empty handed.
Perhaps Geomatica could go check the cache? I note that there is evidence of some bush regeneration work having been done - clearing weeds mostly - at the GZ and wonder whether one of the workers found the cache and took it.
Am also open to the possibility I have simply missed the cache, though.

Spent about 20 minutes in the GZ. Lots of plant growth, leaf litter, fallen branches and spiders webs. Even though the previous 2 logs were DNF's I thought I'd give it a try. The task is made more difficult by the amount of stuff covering the ground, but also the GPS is useless under the tree cover....and the hint does not help direct the search. So - large and complex GZ - much ground to cover. Perhaps it's a good time for the CO to check it's still there - and provide a clue that is a little more assistive?

Well, perhaps it had been a "Very nice piece of urban bushland" but my GPS had me in the area that had been badly trashed - broken bottles, discarded clothing, an old chair, general rubbish around and no sign of the cache.
I couldn't find it :'( I spent hours looking under rocks guess I was looking in wrong spot
It's fabulous to see pieces of urban bushland like this they still exist so close to the city. On our drive to the reserve we saw a bush turkey strolling up the road and a kookaburra perched on one of the signs in the park. TFTC.
After finding Off Campus we decided to knock off another "To Do" cache. Drove down into this unknown part of Chatswood to us and began driving down the bendy hill.
Made our way to the park and found a weird park that was legal on weekends
Now which path to take?!
Chose the right- not necessarily the right path and found ourselves at "GZ". Turns out we were wrong.
Corrected out error and found the nice big cache that was nicely done.
Log will last a while
Wish I brought the Geocoin that I dropped in Off Campus

Found this a few days ago but did not log until today. Great park and wonderful cache! Took Tortoise and Hare Geocoin for a journey down south. Thanks
Had this green and peaceful bit of bush to myself today. There were no trackables of any sort in the cache. I have left a TB (sneaker) and a GC (tortoise and hare) plus a few swaps, took nothing. SL TFTC
Nice park- Thanks for showing us. We had a nice walk through the forest. I didn't see any coins though.
This one was on the way back home so no point leaving it unfound. A nice bit of bush but very wet. It did not take long to find GZ but we found no trackables despite the listing. We had out trackable visit. SL and replaced. We took the direct route out up the hill and jumped the fence.

Found during a rare, sunny dry spell. This is certainly a great piece of bush. There are many artificial spots close to the track that fit the hint but the cache is not there. Try for a more natural one a bit further away. There are no TBs here, except for Aussie Track-a-bear, which I left in place. TFTC
Bit wet today so had a fun time slipping around on the damp ground but found the cache with ease. SL, TNLN, TFTC!
Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!
This was cache #15. Ran into another goecacher who helped with the find. TFTC!

#425 There was a person holding an iPhone on the start of the walking trail when I arrived there. I thought she's definitely NOT out to go bush walking if she's using her phone. So I asked if she was geocaching... And indeed, she was! She said she's very new to the game (found 14 yet). So I told her that maybe we can go and hunt for this cache together. This one is quite off the walking track, but I'm glad there aren't plants/bushes to be bashing through. I saw the carefully placed rocks from afar, and knew the cache would have to be there. And indeed it was! Nice meeting you, Kerry! Didn't take any of the 2 TBs, and only took a photo of it. The 2 koalas that want to go to Disneyland are cute. I wish they can go there. TFTC!
Tftc enjoying an early morning cache hunt. Swooped tbs. I thought for 1 minutes the " rocks" referred to we're the ones by the path. Then I spotted the cachers track..... Great spot.

Great cache in an awesome reserve. We took the wrong path at first, but since it was short, walked the whole way and back. We then realised where the right path was and had a lovely walk to the geozone. Nice big path. Co-ords a bit off but with the hint we got there in the end. Swapped two trackables. TFTC.
A shiny Sunday afternoon. Didn't have any trackables in our inventory but we'll move the Quakey Shakey TB on and w L a Penn State rugby pin. Nice little park. SL TFTC Cheers.....Gaztek
Great cache, a tough hint as there are many many rocks but we got it in the end
While in the area for work today I thought I would take a break and let the geo boys stretch there legs (School Holiday work with dad day)We found a good spot to park and went in for the hunt. My pointer did not like the trees and the clouds but we new were in the right spot so we just expanded and I turned up the cache with out too much fuss.
Nice size out here good to see so I left a TB and took a TB, SL and Rtnd safe.
All contents safe and dry.

Nice big cache. A little walk in the green and the cache was soon in hand. Was a bit confused with the clue because there are tones of places to find it. TFTC
Gorgeous place. Getting lost walking through nearby streets was actually a bonus. A shame I have no trackable to swap. TFTC
Dropped a geocoin. Found with Kirby24706 . A few trackables seen in cache. TFTC
Geokid and I took the long way round and ended up doing some bush bashing to get to GZ. Geokid had the right idea and we found it fairly easily. iPhone gps was within 5m. Took sun medal left car SL TFTC
Went for a little stroll in the bush on my way home. GPSr took me to the right spot for a change and I made a very quick find. I sometimes wonder if caches like these are more obvious due to the camo. More obvious to geocachers perhaps, not Joe Muggle I guess.
There were a couple of trackables in there but nothing like the long list shown on the inventory. I guess these should be marked 'missing' to avoid disappointment. Anyway I dropped two in to replace the two I took.
Great bit of urban bush.
Thanks!

While down in Chatswood for 'Off Campus' I thought I'd see if I could locate this one after dark. I knew I'd be missing the enjoyment of this section of bush that I'd have in the daylight, but since I was in the area wanted to have a go. And the nighttime bush has its own charms . . . in moderation!
Armed with my new 5000 lumens HID torch, I set out from the car park and trailhead into a very quiet and very damp bushland that's called 'Blue Gum Park.'
I encountered one dog walker near the street, who must have thought me a keen bushwalker indeed, but otherwise I was alone in the forest with the local native birds and animals.
Realising that my trek would, unfortunately, be only a short one, I wasn't disturbed by the muddy conditions and fallen trees that were the result of Sydney's recent heavy rain and storms.
GZ was quickly found and so was the cache -- and it proved to be in good shape. My GPSr had the cache about 8 metres off, but this could just have been my machine on the night -- and in any case is plenty close enough.
TNLNSL.
Many thanks to geomatica!

Another beautiful piece of urban bush in our neighborhood. Couldn't enjoy it for long as it started raining. Dropped off GeoTriad Geocoin took little plastic shark TB.
Follow up to previous log - there were only two of the trackables listed in the inventory in the cache - have noticed this a lot lately - hope someone is not finding and removing them all for some reason.

This is the start of a day which was to be out at Middle Head for a work bush regeneration day. I stopped off at the 'exchange' and after an easy walk, found cache dry from all the recent rain. SL. Dropped geocoin TN. Replaced everything back again. Could hear the water off in the distance, and a tree was blocking part of the track as well. TFTC.

Teamed up with Geokids for this one. Wanted to set off geoson's TB that is bound for Scotland before we leave Australia. Thanks for setting up this Trackable Exchange geomatica.
Heavy rain, GPSr batteries dying. Geodad took us on roundabout route, but once we were at GZ, cache was soon found. TFTC
Not been geocaching for some time, but needed to set off my TB before leaving Australia. Anyone heading for Scotland in the near future??
been meaning to do this cache for a long time left the TB at home so took nothing left nothing tftc
Found after i decided to ignore the gps and go with my instinct. Great park and creek will be back to check it out better when i have more time.Swapped TB's Cheers
It took a wee while to locate the right spot but once I broadened my search area just a little bit beyond the obvious and used my cache sense, the hiding place was located. Shame about the distinct lack of trackables here. I've dropped one in. Hope it doesn't disappear. Maybe the cache owner could mark the other ones missing? TFTC, Biggles.
Had a good look around, but didn't have enough time to finish my searches. I found a few 'obvious' hidey holes (as referred to by previous cachers), but they were all empty.
Oh well, my intention was to retrieve one or two of the TB, and on site I finally read the logs which said all TB are missing. I'll come back some other day.

My GPS was all over the place here. It initally had me searching in the completely wrong area. It eventually led me to the correct spot and then the cache was obvious.
No travel bugs here, I was looking forward to taking some back to Perth.

Left a Pathtag. No other TBs in cache. Lovely piece of peaceful bushland to discover while my wife is chasing the post Christmas bargains in Chatswood. TFTC
A beautiful location for a hide. Didn't take long to find the right place to hop off the trail. The hiding spot seemed obvious. I was caching with Melelina for the day and ALL trackables were missing except for one which Melelina took. Dissappointing as so many are listed in this cache. TFTC.
This cache location was the highlight of our geosearching day! Loved all the gum trees! Took my first trackable. Still need to buy my GPS,
so when I do the little pig will find a new home in the USA or China. Thanks for showing us this lovely reserve...

Dropped by this cache on the way home from work to see if i could grab the priscilla TB as i had found a similar porcupine-ish animal i was going to attach ...but TB isn't there anymore and hasn't been logged as moved T___T had a laugh at the bonsai potato set (i've sure grown lots of them in the bottom of the cupboard!!), then replaced cache and dashed back to the car to get out of the rain!!

If I was placing GZ, I'd have recorded it at: S33 47.475 E151 10.508... but I could be mistaken.
Left nothing, took the Isle of Skye t/b.

TFTC, found it with no problems, however there were only 3 trackables inside and I didn't fancy any of them so didn't swap any.
Thanks Geomatica for bringing me to another beatiful and well hidden part of Sydney. Loved the walk and grabbed Golden Horns coin whilst leaving behind Piglet and Q1c1+1 TBs

I found the original cache months ago and now that it has moved I thought I would give it another go.
I had to go to Chatswood this afternoon so I called in with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to find than the original cache.
Dropped in an Enthusiasm medal and swapped geocoins with one I've had for too long.
Another great cache from Geomatica.

Reperio at 1605. This was a really nice spot to visit today as the sun was out but due to the recent rain there was just a hint of water around. Being a TB exchange I thought it would be almost a drive by, so it was nice to have to walk a bit further in.

Was getting dark by the time I got to this one. I had walked all day and was buggered. I got to 7 meters away from gz and thought I knew where it was. I started to search but came up empty handed. I moved to rocks further down the gps was no help at this stage as it just couldnt get a fix. I then spotted the hide I grabbed the cache and nearly grabbed the gc from it. But soon discovered that another canberra cacher placed it TFTC
We did find this site without any fence jumping and it only took a few minutes, with no-one around. Had hoped to see a few more TBs and coins, but there were only 2 TBs which we did exchange, but no coins at all. GZ was very damp but the cache was dry. No other swaps, thanks for a good suburban hide.
dropped off couple of tbs - sorry but i got the HOO RAY TB straight out of my Cache and put it into this 1 forgetting to get the Tracking code so whoever finds the TB and wants to logg it will have to go to my Cache and unlog it from there, at

Contary to the previous log,
YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANY JUMPING OVER FENCES TO ACCESS THIS CACHE.
Really, to save yourself a 20 metre walk!!!!!!
Just follow the fence around to the end and follow the path around to the cache. It is that simple!
This is how caching in the National Parks got a bad name.

Now what does one do late at night after watching the Waratahs beat the Hurricanes and move into the S14 finals??? A cache or two on the way home.

Last find (#7) of the day on a great geo-hike from Roseville Station. The coords had me looking in the wrong area at first. Took a while to find at the GPS was all over the pace but we finally located the cache. Dropped off a Wolf Geocoing and took a Turtle TB. Recorded the other Trackables.

Found at 5.05pm GAFF1. A lovely little park, however it was becoming dark and those famous rock platforms that have an overhang were all over the place and looke like they may have hidden a hundred caches. Thankfully the cache was found soon after and in not a difficult spot while the birds were chattering away.

It's a good job you now get a notification of when a cache that has your TB in it gets archived, otherwise it may have been a good while before I found out the cache had been muggled and all trackables had gone.

Maybe someone doesn't like you? Or they need to be located better? We have 42 cache, and have lost more to bushfires than muggles!
Having such a high number of muggled cache shouldn't be referred to as "part and parcel of caching I suppose".as so many coins & TB's have been lost, (one of which I'm tracking get the clue to find a cache!)
Do other cachers have such a high number of muggled cache?

Came looking for this cache a few months ago, right between it being muggled and marked as missing .. was very frustrating, looking for something that wasn't there - I'm sure you've all been there. I've been waiting for the right time to come down and find it ever since geomatica brought it back online - today was the day! Pretty much went straight to it, the coordinates were spot on. Camo was great though, looks very natural, I can't see this one being muggled any time soon. Thanks geomatica for your efforts in getting this cache up and running, since coming here a few months ago, I've been back to this beautiful park a number of times, it's so relaxing and the perfect place to spend a lunch hour.
