This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Came here on a rainy day !! With geo hubby who found it before, it appears that it’s not here anymore. Eagle is not here either
A beautiful but I did not find. I didn’t look very hard but did inspect some likely spots near GZ. A combination of mozzies and previous DNFs had me on my way empty handed
Disappointed not to have found it. Lots of rubbish on the way in, lots of mozzies.
Best DNF ever. We’re up from Sydney visiting our friend in Nabiac and came over to Foster to swim with the Turtles. Rough seas this morning but a very amiable group. Breakfast to follow at Beach Bums Cafe at the surf club. We saw two young sea eagles sitting on the lightpost going over the bridge both from the Tuncurry side and later from the Forster side. Then we drove over to nearby GZ and another eagle was sitting on the telegraph pole overlooking the trailhead and oyster yards. We walked in and spotted the high nest but couldn’t see if anyone was home. Had a good look around but didn’t find the geocache. We did a little CITO and were headed back to the car when a fin surfaced close to the shore. And then another. Two dolphins very placidly cruising in the shallows. Magic! Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers... Gaztek
Lots of mosquitoes discouraged me from spending too much time here. Very few rocks in the vicinity of GZ.
Spent 40 min searching in the rain but couldn't find it. Heaps of garbage and bottles left behind from bogons make it a challenge
Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Visiting from Sydney, really cool spot with the eagle. Found the cache and collected a couple of eagle feathers found on the ground TFTC
Such a great place for cache, luckily one of the log message helped us found it lastly.
We are staying at the big 4 next to this cache. Such a beautiful spot here! Loved the cache and it was great to see the eagle on the perch. TFTC!!
TFTC. I’m visiting from the Cessnock area. Found with 2 geocaching friends. We saw the eagle. What a lovely spot.

catching up on very late logging. found with banj5150 , may be signed as beary_unicorns or thusbruv_sqrd due to username changes. tftc
After a long period of not much geocaching, the girls from Beary_Unicorns and I decided a geocaching road trip was required, and Forster was our target destination.
came to find this morning however could not attempt due to people camping directly under the nest
Not under a rock. Great cache. We watched the eagle eat a brim above us. Thanks for the fun.
Out on my own today fully clad. Thought I would give this one another go but conceded after 20 minutes and lots of bites.. No joy here.
Out and about with &others on our way back from the falls. Pretty miserable day but we stopped to check this one out. Co ords just kept jumping around but the mossies were very focused. They won after a 10 minutes search.
Out for an early morning cache on transit back to brisbane from Melbourne
I've never stayed in Forster before, lovely spot. Def will again.

Dec 15th my first introduction to geocashing, good spot well guarded by two birds of prey
Having just arrived in Tuncurry this was our third and the last of the available caches for us to search for. The cache was a nice quick find once in the Ground Zero area having spotted it on approach. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache, where we got see two Eastern Ospreys (we get the Western Osprey back home) and greetings from Zimbabwe
The birds are Osprey. Three were perched in and around the nest, screeching as we approached, two adults and a juvenile. The cache was covered by a piece of wood.
No cache but how awesome are the eagles, i guess this feather is better than nothing!
Found the empty container and then the log lying separate, Not sure where it was supposed to be. Put it back where it maybe should be?? Four eagles where there so very cool
Container left open a very wet and soggy inside. We found another container nearby, so we put a bit of paper inside and put it with the another cache. Thanks Omega62
Been down this road many times.
My uncle was a pro fisho and oyster farmer and owned the jetties along this road.
It was much different then when parts of the road went under water at high tide.
Now all these houses are built on the swamp. When I was a kid there was a solid flood that when it happens again, and it will all these houses will go under as the water was just under the house and it is 2 metres above the ground and still there.
The eagles landed while I was there too.
Cache is a bit damp.

Took an eagle eye to find it and then put another bit of paper in the cache to be able to log a find. Thanks Omega62 for the placing of this cache.
Found It! The logbook needs to be replaced immediately!! It’s so wet and unable to sign!! Had to write on different paper and it’s already full!! It needs action!
Reperio at 1135.
Out and about today tracking down a few caches, and we pulled up next to the access point and enjoyed a quick wander to GZ where the cache didn’t take too long to find.
