Area now clear of vegetation due to Council gardening. No other suitable sites nearby for a cache of this size, either very boggy or dodgy litter in vicinity.
Visited site and Council has been at it again. All very clean and tidy. Could not find cache, so will move to a more secure location.
Tried again in better weather and with more time available. GPSr indicated exact same location as last time. Thorough search but no luck. Not sure how much excavation of 'loose vegetation' is required.
Troodles and searched for some time, but had no luck. Not a good start to an afternoon's caching!
Forgot to log this DNF. Really overcast/rainy day, so GPS may have been leading me astray. Will revisit...
Off to a slow start today. Last night while at McDonalds (at 6-10pm) my campervan was broken into and laptop, phone, camera, money, compass and back-up GPS was stolen. Had to replace early this morning. Cache was found after a short search. SL TFTC
Found it eventually, took a bit longer than I thought it would. Left a copy of my Street Map with the caches I came to find today. TFTC
Made this a bit more difficult than I needed to. Still a quick find though. TFTC

Excellent camo and very well hidden. Slightly concerned when we saw some work had been going on in the area but cache remained undistrubed. TFTC
Out teaching the young one to drive. Nice easy find today. (last time DNF but checked the logs when I got home to find it temporary disabled) sorry no spare maps to add TFTC.
This one certainly had me going for a while but after about 20 minutes finally had it in my hands.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Boy that was fun I would have been looking for days if I had done this one on my own very nice spot. TFTC
Cache replaced today. Partly covered with leaf litter. Please replace carefully.
Went to check this one today and couldn't find it! Making up a replacement which should be in place in another day.
XC and TK out and about on mountain bikes... I feel sure we have been here before for this one.. But I see it has been reborn in a slightly different place.. Well we couldnt find it.. I must be losing my touch...!!! We must have scratched away every leave in the area.. oh well.. will watch it and see what happens .. will be back..

Was raining quite hard as we approached and I was thankful for the slight cover provided by the trees here as the overhead powerlines spat and hummed to the incessant rain. Cache found in excellent order and would have loved to take some maps...I love maps, I could read them all day. On the way back to the car in the dark, a figure was approaching from the other direction and it crossed to the other side of the road from us...we were surprised to see that it was a woman walking alone...not a very smart thing to be doing late at night, near a park, by yourself.

Out with Glyn and BackPAQer today to see how many caches three guys can find powered only by Wild Bean Cafe coffee and ham rolls. The weather was wet but the spirits were high.
Did the first one. This one seemed less of a walk.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Nice to have a few local caches around. It' s fun knowing they're there each time you wander past.
Onto it in a flash! Oh, the logbook bag is split, didn't come prepared with a replacement. Nothing in or out. Cheers!
Easy find - the cache was a bit exposed when we found it, so we covered it up carefully afterwards. Interesting seeing all the old maps and guide books in the cache, although we didn't have anything on us to trade! TNLNSL - TFTC
(No.6) on the cache raid and it is definitely not about the numbers (TUI), A quick drive and cache at a nice little park in an industrial area in Auckland, found cache easily with no issues, TFTC TNLNSL (857)
Auckland traffic was kind to me tonight. Found I had a bit of spare time on my trip to the airport so stopped off en-route for a few quick cache finds.
A nice quick drive by, ideal for my short little cache hunt this evening.

Good one. I enjoyed the original and appreciate the replacement. Camo is a little worse for wear and cache was a bit exposed. Tried to revover as best as I could. TFTC, Biggles.
Fifth of fifteen finds on a stormy day - we must be mad . Took a little while to find this one, great idea for the map swap T4TC.
Went round and round, due to a detour in place, but eventually got close enough for the hunt. Enjoyed this one, though the camo plastic bag on the cache is destroyed.

Found on the way home. Will be back to drop some maps in some time now that i have seen it.
After doing a few caches with the wonderstuff I ventured out in auckland by myself.
A bit scary at times but this one found easy enough.

A quick find now that it's in it's new spot, safe from the motorway encroachment. There are some advantages to working on a Saturday - scratching the geocaching itch without feeling too guilty about it.
Nice and straight foward the hide was especially easy with the helium balloons marking the area - I hope you don't mind but I took them away - lost balloons to a good home. T4TC
A nice easy find, and stopped to have a bit for lunch. The external bag is ripped. Cheers Gav [3626]
Out and about with OG Phatz checking out the new Oregon 300.
Once settled, the arrow pointed to the location.
Nice camo.

On a joint find day with TWS.
It will be nice when the works are finished. Good park for the kiddies.
Dropped off Bee's Night racer coin.

I like the way you dissapear into the trees as you round the corner for this one. T4TC!
I had an inspection in the afternoon (very close by), so couldn't resist this one.
Quick find. Nice spot.

Busy spot today… as the finish line for a local street race was less than a 100m away… luckily not close enough to be of any concern. Nice placement, many thanks.

Cache in plain sight, so covered it up more before leaving. The wind could undo that though. It will be interesting to see how transit leave this place looking once the construction is finished.

Since we got the FTF on the first inception of this cache, it seemed fitting to grab it again on this edition, this time with mm1968. It's a great idea for a cache. TFTC!!!
