The grounds where this cache was hidden have been cleaned up too much to rehide the cache.

31-Oct-10
Had this in my gps for a while and came past with the geokids. Didn't realise until after that it has been disabled. Shame. Nice place, nice views.

06-Oct-10
Thanks to Team Doobie for replacing the cache whilst I was overseas. I have checked the location this evening and wasn't able to find the cache. I suspect the local muggle kids know the location now and sabotage the cache. Will find a new cache and move the location slightly.

Found this one last week but didn't have a pen. TFTC SL

07-Sep-10
After walking around a few times and not finding, noticed something in the field that looked like a log.
Surprised It was the log. Found the container completely destroyed.
Replaced the container with a small clear container.

31-Jul-10
My 2nd find ever and the first for the day

24-Jul-10
Just a quick note after an email from pjmpjm. It seems this cache really is as easy as we should have expected, but we had a grossly wrong assumption. Thanks pjmpjm.

24-Jul-10
We weren't sure about this one. We'd downloaded it previously onto the GPS, so we didn't have the latest logs and we weren't sure when it was last found. As it turns out, it was just yesterday, so I guess it probably hasn't been muggled, although at the time we wondered. Being a one star difficulty, and with the number of logs saying it was just out in the open, we expected a fast easy find. As it was, we searched all over the structure, in every nook and cranny, and turned up nothing. Will be interesting to see what the next searcher says. Anyway, some great views across the houses towards the mountains. Thanks.

I didn't have took hard. When I reached GZ I found the cache just lying there out in the open.
I concealed it a bit better after signing log

what a mungrel place to find using out of date maps in the car GPSr if comming from 'Prison Walls' cache. A 5.8km round trip when as the crow flies it was about 500m. Great Cache hide. We found it out inthe open, but rehide it a bit better. TFTH...SL...TNLN

The last cache for the day,, a quick find, again the cache was in the open. You can not appreciate the views in the dark. SL TNLN TFTH Big Grin

25-Jun-10
A fairly easy find, especially as the cache was sitting out in the open.

13-Jun-10
Tftc had to dig a bit but eventually found it.

Did not find

31-May-10
Found pretty quickly once I made my way into the Paterson Reserve! Driving around looking for access to the grounds took me a few minutes, until I discovered convenient Scaddan Street.

Anyhow, what a bold -- perhaps even reckless -- hiding place, with an excellent built-in 'decoy' that will fool many geocachers! Some slight 'clearing of debris' will be required in the end . . .

Fortunately, I read the logs of earlier finders, and will repeat: 'Pay attention to your GPS.' But you may follow your common sense instead, and thus have a much, much longer search. It took me twenty seconds. I must be learning something after all . . .

Cache is still dry after all the rain. SL. It was quiet at the park today. I could hear the loudspeakers from a local school, warning students of wind and rain on the way, so I quickly took a couple of photos and headed back to work. The gloomy weather conditions meant that I didn't take time to try to view my home back in the Blue Mountains.

Thanks very much, Timlioli, for re-establishing this one. I really hope it survives. I left a tiny bit of its 'green face' showing, just like I found it.

29-May-10
A new container has been found. Not as unique as the original but I hope it hangs around for a while. Happy caching!

27-Mar-10
looks like the container may have gone to grow in another garden. I'm surprised it lasted this long, will look out for a suitable replacement.

26-Mar-10
The description was good, and we found the immediate area early. Unfortunately, we came up with zip for our first geocache, but we did find a short pencil under a tree. Won't be able to count this one as a find - but we will be out there again tomorrow.

05-Mar-10
Quick find. Nice view of the mountains. I remember this area with no houses at all. It's a pity they destroyed it with all these houses. TFTC

04-Mar-10
Very easy find. Great views of mountains, Shame the council for letting development of houses that block the view, Did this one on the way home from work.

Love the container, a bit magic.

25-Feb-10
I had to come back to this one after visiting earlier, as there was a muggle mother and children at GZ the first time. There was a muggle there the next visit too, but I decided it was time for a late morning tea so settled in, it wasn't long before I had the place to myself, and the cache was discovered after a short search looking initially in the wrong yet more obvious spot; I hadn't really paid attention to the gismo which was pointing in a different direction, but once I did I quickly had the cache in hand. Nice container! this completed the timlioli trifecta, thanks for the cache.

Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger.................!! I liked this cache, was quite unexpectedly easy!! Cache had no log inside the canister so we left a couple of sheets of notepaper!! TFTC.

Wow, nice view. Big Grin nice cache too. Thanks for leading us here. Smile

Replaced log this morning. I must admit I didn't expect this cache to remain in the location for this long! Even though it has been muggled a couple of times.

beautiful view. tricky to find

Our first find. Took us a while to find it, very clever hint.

No muggles about today. After location GZ, I thought the GPS unit was faulty. But I stood back, had a second look at the area & went straight to the cache. TN LN SL TFTC

Isn't it funny how you're drawn to the obvious. It wasn't till I read the description where it says small swaps that I had to rethink my position. No views today, too much rain.
Thanks

Today we had the park to ourselves.

Nice hide.

A quick find in the oppressively hot weather. I'd say the cache was returned to the correct spot by the previous finder. No views today, the weather was far too hazy!

Cheers

28-Nov-09
It was a very hot day, hot enough to make my heart race just walking to this cache. The Blue Mountains were far from visible in the haze. Hoojar came up with the goods.

Cheers.

Signed log. This cache has been muggled, put it back together as best I could. May need some maintenance.

Tks timlioli........ GazMag

24-Nov-09
This cache had been pulled apart with log torn. I found the container's lid and put it back best I could. Also left extra paper for log.
Not sure where it should have been placed as it was on the lawn when I found it.

All the best.... GazMag

Man we struggled with the muggles on this one. First time we had to leave and come back. Even today we had to wait for the muggles to leave. Worth it in the end, nice little cache TFTH SL

Had decided to check all obvious spots before trusting the GPS- the fairies would love this one! TFTC

15-Jun-09
I should have trusted the GPS it was telling me where to go but I thought I knew better.
Nice mountains view off in the distance. Sneeky hide. TFTC.

14-Jun-09
Well I had to come out to Quakers Hill for something else so decided I might as well go caching that direction. This was the first to find. Found the obvious container but it was empty. Hmmm. Then spotted the unrolled log sheet on the ground a few metres away.

Luckily got to it before the rain started so signed the log and put everything back together. Thanks timlioli.

Had some time off work during the middle of the day and went looking for this one. Searched for half an hour in the wrong spot, then sat back and pondered. Checked the GPS again and found the cache quickly. A clever hide. Thanks.

24-May-09
And another cacher starting searching at the obvious location even though the GPS states its 8 metres away. Red Face
Found this after a quick search at the actual GZ and then had to wait for 10 minutes, stranded like a shag on a rock waiting for a family of muggles to leave before I returned the cache. Boy did I get some interesting looks Smile
What a great park.

I approached from the east past a Soccer game in full swing. Once I got to GZ I wasted a few minutes looking in the wrong spot. I then checked the GPS and found I was searching 10 metres from where I should have been. I followed the arrow and immediately spotted what I had been looking for. Brazen hide indeed, nice one.

TFTCSL Cool

14-May-09
Now that is a brave hide, I'm surprised no one has muggled it! Nice clear views to the mountains as it was blowing a smog clearing westerly. Thanks for the hunt..

09-May-09
Great little cache. The funny thing is that in my desperation to find a cache earlier in the day I had looked at a similar object, never expecting to find one later in the day.

Wow that western side is a real killer I'm glad you warned us of how steep it isRazz When we arrived at GZ and began the search......hey Deputy thats not it there surely.... ahh yeah I think it is - hmmm oh well it certainly looks the part for now, we'll see how long that lasts.
Thanks for the cache nothing taken nothing left, Cheers

04-May-09
2nd on our after work cache hunt..... We approached from the Western side and even with a little dew on the grass got to GZ nps. The hardest part was doing the limbo under the fence. Nice hide I hope this one last for quiet a while before it is cooked!!!!!.

Aha, nice sneaky hide - I looked directly at the cache, thought that it was quite impressive, and then proceeded to keep searching..... eventually the penny dropped! I'm sure the views would be great if it wasn't pitch black.

TFTC. FTF. Woohoo.
