We went to do maintenance on this cache today and couldn't find it. Looked high and low, but it was no where to be found.
Great view and easy find! Wasn't able to sign the logbook as it was soaked. Left 2 trackables. TFTC
Gorgeous views and a nice quick find. Log book is very wet so we attempted to dry it out! Too wet to sign so have taken a photo.TFTC
Out today with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog12 for a bit if an adventure. Found at 2.05 with ratdog. Too wet to sign. Left calling card.
Made the track along the beach not long after high tide and looked around. Took a little looking as kids play nearby as evidence of the cubby and knew it wood be covered well.
Found it pretty easy after abit of a walk. Log book almost full and gold pen almost out of ink. Thtc was a good spot.
Caching day with Frullet in Mackay picking up a lot of caches south of the town.
I gave up then F found it in the same place were I almost crushed my finger.
Very good views and good path to the hide too, even if Frullet was on his way down the cliff.
Thanks for hiding this one

A quick find after a short walk in the rain. After the last cache we found disappeared down a hole we thought this one might meet the same fate so gathered some rocks to put under it.
With the rain and low cloud cover no boats were visible from GZ today.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Not too hard, did have to rummage around a bit but thats always good fun. Signed the log, little bit damp but left it in the breeze for a few minutes. All good now.
Found with benjimun and kezzabiggy. The natural environment makes it difficult to find the spot.
Beautiful place to find this. Took a little while as there are so many options for where at could be. But it wasn't as hard as we first thought. Found with benjimun and White.boy.
Seldom read descriptions until after the fact. Met the owner & asked permission to cross his block which was cheerfully given. Walked to that high point which had excellent views but GPSr indicated still a way to go. Decided to check it anyway but didn't see anything. Found a grassy way down & searched where Magellan indicated & where it didn't. Slowly checked in a widening circular pattern to no avail. Read the description at this point - whoops. Moved on after 30 or so minutes. Thanks. (That property is for sale btw.)
Bit of a rough climb as we came around the beach over the rocks lucky was low tide found big legless lizard skin so beware tftc
Haven't been down here for 20 years. Lovely day even with the showers. TFTC
Took kids down for a drive after school. Great spot and hide. Took parachute man and put in thomas tank engine.
A lovely walk along the cliff top before we found the path down a level, we counted 21 ships there lined up today. Thanks for placing the cache here
Seeing there was a cache so close to home, I ran down with my cousin to hunt. Spent a good 20-30 mins looking for it, then just as I Gave up, sat down and BAM! Right next to me :p tftc, the area is beautiful.
Drifted in and a little walk and shortly afterwards cache was in hand. Counted 13 ships to pick mine from. Be careful if the cliff edge. TFTC
We seemed to be almost back at Gold St and still no easy path and then there it was Fairly easy to find. TFTC
Found it. Took an hour to find as it was buried. Erosion made it difficult to find
Yayy thanks for the cache! Beautiful spot, found with my family while having a BBQ nearby.
I found me way to the end of Gold Street and wandered across the block "for sale" to scope out the view
I decided that this was not the spot for my future home and that there must be a better way to the cache
Down at the end of Driftwood I found a nice park stretching off towards GZ.
Off I skipped to the top of the cliffs [:o]
I wandered a bit and found .... THE PATH !!
Down near the beach I set to finding the cache.
And managed to fill in a good half hour of the day [^]
Gosh that is well hidden [:o]
I missed digging deep enough the first time
TFTC and the views of the boats.
I counted 29 today

Found at 1:37 PM GAFF1. From where we were looking down at first it looked like much more than a T1.5 - it looked like a T3.0, but then we spotted a nice sedate track that took us straight to the cache - not that we actually took it - we took the geocachers route
Another lovely spot that commanded magnificent views.
Thanks coral.sea.cat.

Was having a bad day. So JuniorSeeker2 and I packed up to do some geocaching. Couldn't find an easy path so we took it carefully down a less steep part. A great place. Well done for discovering it. TFTC.
This was our first attempt at finding a cache. So maybe it was our lack of experience. Beautiful views! The kids loved it!
A great view to sea & to see all those boats lined up waiting their turn.
A good hide.

caching with my family after the Sarina markets, on the first sunny day for us this week. Unfortunately [:p]we went through the empty block to the cache, geo daughters boy friend missed the cache but I found it, might have to get the kids interested before they head off on their camping holiday.
2.00pm. Very windy here today. Still a nice walk and good views. Took a while to find but we did get there. Signed the log and left. Then when we were well on our way along Hay Point Road we realised we were one pair of sunglasses short! Visited the three caches in this area then returned to pick up the glasses from on the rock.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Followed the driving instructions provided and parked in Driftwood Close. Accessed the GZ with ease.
Located the cache after a brief search and took the Geogold geocoin from the cache.
Not one ship to be seen today.

Great find on a debaucheress Thursday night - safety was not first with a GPS and a torch - TFTC
Excellent hide! Beautiful location. 20 boats to choose from. Took colouring pencils Left tropical fish. Cheers, CSCat
Couldn't locate this one and ended up giving up half way along because of all the rocks and it was raining quite heavily so wanted to get going before we got sick. Was a nice peaceful area and disappointed geohubby was unable to locate - so close yet so far!
Went here with Sattlepop and becka80. It was raining and late so becka didn't get out of the car (she had her baby in there) and Sattlepop quit half was. I looked up the top and couldn't find it. I look down below and I couldn't find it. My iPhone tells me it is down below. With daylight disappearing I reluctantly left. Any clues would be much appreciated. As mentioned below by others wear suitable footwear. My first ever DNF. In the words of Arnie "I'll be back"
After a bit of searching we found this one right under where my mum was sitting. Great view. Thanks for taking me to a place I would have never visited otherwise. TN L- phillip island v8 supercars ticket. TFTC.
It is certainly a million dollar view and I guess that is why there is still vacant blocks here. The miners can't even afford them.
Thanks for the cache Tigersden

Went to find this one on the 16th August while on my way to Rockhampton, There is a distinct lack of street signs in the area. I found Gold Street first and discovered the private blocks of land as mentioned on the page. They are loosely fenced off and are still vacant so I decided not to go that way. Eventually found Driftwood close and after a long walk found the cache. Took the winner's medallion and left a small purple rubber snake. Thank you Tigersden for placing this cache. The cache is still in good condition.
This one hurt. Went for a wander along the beach from Driftwood. There is a clearly defined beach access track from Driftwood. First I blew out a near new thong, so the rocks and shells were hurting one set of tootsies. Found the cache at 1405hrs. As I wandered back to the car, I blew out the other thong, so both sets of tootsies were copping a caning. So I tried rock hopping, only to lose my balance, and go base over apex down a crevice. The result, a scraped up right hand and left foot.

A bit unsure about this having to walk on private property to get to the location. No tables chairs, nothing at this little tiny ledge that could even hide a cache, maybe I was in the wrong spot?
A fairly easy find & a lovely outlook.... think I walked through private property to get there from the top of the point
Oh well was worth in... left Thong TB, left nothing.... TFTC

Wouldn't mind owning one of those boats. Sure put my Kayak to shame in carrying capacity. TFTC

second night attempt. But still illudes myself and mattm84. Can u give us a small hint? We only have phone gps atm. And with the spots thery are giving us, weve looked everywhere and cannot find...
Pt. Douglas Trip 09.4. It took me a few goes to get the altitude right, but eventually I spied the sneaky hide. Thanks.

after a morning at the Sarina markets - time to have another attempt at some nearby caches that have thwarted me to date.
2nd attempt at this one ... and the weather was much more pleasant today enabling a much more concerted effort ... not really needed as the hide was revealed in no time
swapped some bugs, grabbed the gps coin - leaving two others that have already been lifted ... wont stuff up the logs
SL nabbing the FTF prize by a day ... phew
now on to the other one
cheers

Our story goes just like Dandents only the weather was perfect for us.
All four of us scoured the area with no luck.
I must admit I was a little disapointed to trade a FTF for a DNF.
The place looks like it gets frequented by kids that like collecting stones, so I think it has been found and muggled.
Will keep an eye on this one as well.

after a rather successful outing ... we came unstuck here.
Parked off to the south, and wandered along the headland towards GZ while the wind and rain howled around us.
Upon arriving near GZ started to look around at all the possible hiding spots, so many ... and so many odd arrangements around the place that could have been built to stash a cache. But after sorting through a number of spots, climbing over the outcrop, and back again, had nothing in hand to show for our efforts. A little squall coming in from the east encouraged us to halt our searching.
Will keep an eye on it and see how others go.
cheers
