Only thing found here were two hundred million thirsty mozzies. Recent floods may be to blame...for the mozzies and a washed away cache(?)
Saw this on my map so though I would head in for a look. The road in is closed due to flooding. The bridge was dry so walked down and across. Found cache quickly, however it was very wet. Inside both log books were soggy and I was unable to write on them. Tipped water out of the container. Then headed back to the car to find some paper and a glad bag. Signed paper and put it in the new bag and back to GZ. Put new log( in dry bag) in the container (left old soggy logs in their too) and returned where found.
On my way to a Red Hatter xmas in July lunch at the Barramine Homestead and spotted this one on the radar. Much rain this last week and the road in temporarily closed so parked, changed shoes...we all always have a spare for muddy, wet conditions, don't we? Tiptoed through the water across the bridge and there it was. Nice spot to stop and reflect. Thanks blacklegend for another wonderful cache. 11am
TFTC . May the fourth be with you. We were on the way to Yarrawonga and this seemed a good place to pull up and have some lunch and stretch the legs.
As others have pointed out the container was damaged and the log saturated. We walked back to the Motorhome and found a suitable container and log page.
Cache is now all better.

The cache is in need of repair. Has a hole in one end and the log can not be used.

The forth of 5 on our tour of the some of the caches around Yarrawonga. Great location. We continued down the road among the roos and birds. Thanks Blacklegend.
We didn't spend to long here back have marked the reserve as a good spot to come back to and spend a night or two camping. We noted the old log the was close to GZ and wondered what it would have been used for in the past.

Nice quick stop off the main road. Quick, easy find in an area thats good for a break from driving.
#3 find for the day. Good spot to stop and stretch our legs, another car pulled up at the same time but soon left us to our own devices. Co-ords were spot on and we found the cache easily enough - but beware the large 8 legged cache guardian! We quite like the unusual container too. TFTC
Last day of our trip, today we go home to the south coast, a few caches in Echuca and then it is off to our home state. Again quit a few caches we picked up along the road. Took a detour from Albury via Wagga Wagga and ended up home by 10 pm.

Hiding place was obvious enough. My phone GPS also dithered quite a bit down near GZ. Lovely place!
Heading from Kyabram, Vic to ACT and needed a night to camp. There are some nice camping areas off the main rd, and this cache happened to lead us to a great spot by the river. Nice container. TFTC.
Another easy cache by blacklegend17. Love the rest stop. Cache is nice and dry though we've had lots rain here lately. TFTC.
Found this cache whilst on a days caching trip whilst visitng mum in Mulwala. A chance for two FTFs in Jerideree saw me heading out this was and stopping at all the ones not in towns on the way. Nice spot that I have been to many times before as a youngster in the year or so that the family lived in Burramine, before moving north to Savernake. Great spot for a geocache. Thanks Blacklegend!
a grab as i had a meeting in this area
thanks to Blacklegend for putting this cache out for us to find

A nice easy find in a great location. Took the drive around the bend after signing the log sheet. Thanks to Blacklegend for the hunt.
In the area for a few days catching up with family. It is a great opportunity to grab a few caches. This was a lovely spot.
Thanks Blacklegend for placing & maintaining these cache for us to find.

What looks from the road like a simple rest stop turns into something much more. While we were stopped near the cache a car towing a caravan, an old bus converted into a camper and another car all drove past and down the track. This made us do some exploring after signing the log. There is clearly much more to this area than meets the eye. We did follow a series of pot holed tracks until we found the river but never came across the other vehicles that had gone past so it must be a big area.
Thanks for causing us to stop here and explore.

On a bit of a road trip this weekend to knock over some of Victorias LGA's.
2 days, 1200+Km, 1 event attended, 19 caches found, 1 DNF and 8 LGA's put to bed
This was the nineteenth cache and the nineth for today that came up on the radar to find.

While traveling to Echuca stopped for Morning Tea at Bourke Bend rest area and thought I would take a look for the Geocache. It wasn't too hard to find. Unfortunately the logbook was a little damp but I still managed to sign it. Thanks Blacklegend.
We're the second finders today, talked to a couple of ladies about caching. Nice billabong and no need to fend of bushrangers.
With Mrs one-eyed and our caravan in tow with the trusty 4WD stopped for lunch, and found the cache okay
On returning back to the 4WD I dropped my good Nikon , only slight damage though .

This is one of the caches we found while out on another glorious day amongst the magnificent ancient, River Reds - our last in the area for a little while. We have definitely bookmarked this border area for a return visit, sooner rather than later. A quick find and our last visit into the red gumms as we headed toward camp. Based on clay deposits it looks like this cache has been under water - contents OK though.
Our thanks to Blacklegend for bringing us here.

Driving back to Canberra with Black Bunny and Coolwitch, we had to stop a few times for a cache.
Quick find. Thanks, Blacklegend!

Found on the way home to Canberra. A lovely location here. Found log sheets in hidey hole outside of the container. Weird. However, the were dry, so I signed, replaced back into container, and rehid. Thanks BL.
Thank you for another cache Black legend container looks like it has been flooded but log ok.
Found on a way out and about going from Finley to Yarrawonga. Thanks for bringing us here Blacklegend.
What value... two caches for the price of one! Think someone has planted a bogus cache here. Wrote on both logs. Very nice area, kids enjoyed a run around here.
Wasn't low but a pretty obvious cache marker on it. Pretty damp log just needs a new plastic bag. Tftc
Murray July 2014. A long weekend trip down to the Murray to explore and get some great caching dome. I was able to visit some great spots and get some very interesting caches on this trip. Thanks.

Found it with a little trouble. Replaced container as other one was no longer waterproof.
Very busy spot with Easter campers but managed to grab it between carloads of muggles
On route to Loxton today traveling from Wodonga. Picking up a few easy caches along the way to break up the drive.

Interesting spot. Had the cache quickly.

A lizard was with the cache this morning. The place was popular, several cars went by while we were there.
#435 After walking 13.7kms with the geohounds to complete PPPP series it was time to do some drive bys on a loop trip to Yarrawonga then home. Have been camping in this beautiful part of the world on the nearby Murray R in recent times (but before we took up geocaching). In complete darkness was able to find this using 1 bar on the Iphone as for some reason this cache was not loaded on the GPS. Lucky - TFTC Blacklegend.
This was the first of many road/track closures that Sully and I encountered today due to flooding. Luckily it's a short walk past the gate. Thanks again Adam
Found with bogonghazy during my short weekend and his full weeks visit up around here. We did a run to Toc today and netted 56 finds, even with a few hold-ups throughout the day. Thanks for this one Blacklegend, nice little spot to stop for a short break.

great spot use to camp down on the river years ago pulled up for lunch here today tftc
# 3115. Robmc, chewinprickles and I were returning from our day caching in NSW and I spotted this one on my GPS as we turned off the highway to go to Man Flu. On the way back out we pulled up and I hopped out to search for GZ and to say hello to the kangaroos that were near the lovely water hole. This is a lovely little spot. Made a quick find here and now we continue towards home. TFTC
This was extremely popular this afternoon. As we drove in there was a truck with a few port-a-loos parked by the highway. Drove on to GZ and stopped for a quick find of a container. It was the small film canister which might be a replacement for the original? We decided to look around a bit more to see if wwe could find what might be the 'original" cache and looked high and low around what my gps said was GZ with no luck.
Then the cars started to arrive! It looks as if there might be an event here over Easter, or at least a fairly largeish group camping. So we abandoned our secondary search and left them to it. TFTC, nice spot and obviously very popular for camping!

Heading home along the Murray and for the first time stayed overnight in Tocumwul. Off to Rutherglen now. Quick find but there are 2 caches. The one near GZ that clearly looks like the original and another (small film canister) with some loggers but no other geocaching details on the cache. Signed both but needs looking at.
