VikingNav and I FOUND this cache! It was open and behind the tall green tree inside the monument walls. The logbook is unsignable as it is a big mass. We placed the contents back in the container and put the lid on it. We put it back where we found it. Go inside the memorial gate, look to your left, behind the tall greenery in the corner.

I made a query several weeks ago, and forgot to update it before this trip. So we stopped here and looked for the cache. Did not find it at the coordinates, or with the hint. I decided to look a little farther and made the find. TFTC

Geo cycling the GTT over 3 days, picking up caches on the way. Day 3, tapawera to stoke. Cafe not yet open, so I killed several minutes hunting around without any luck

It seems like I searched every hint item but no find for me this time. Autumn leaves all over maybe kept it hidden from me. I'll return one day, thanks for getting me to stop.

out with Red Roaming as we tour the world but spending the most time in New Zealand. Logs signed DD & RR or with our full caching names. having spent a lovely night in a farm backpackers we are on our way to another backpackers in Nelson. Found with aeshna_uk. Stopped by at the Kohatu Flat Rock Cafe across the road for a quick break after the Lewis Pass on a drive to Nelson. After coffee, checked and noted the cache was across the road and popped over to find it - straightforward find, thanks to the hint. Dropped one TB and picked up the other. TFTC!

As I waited for (what I hoped would be) for a final lift to Ngatimoti I found this cache quickly. It's interesting to find caches on a hitchhiking journey and I found five in total, starting in Lake Hawea. TFTC

We spent 4 incredibly wonderful weeks in New Zealand for vacation and
had a lot of fun to discover all the marvels of this country.
Day 22 - it was a long drive from Motueka via Westport over the hills to Karamea.
It turned out we had to endure another 14 adventurous kilometers on a rough gravel road
with unending curves and steep climbs to get to the Oparara Basin.
But once there we were impressed by The Oparara Arch with the brown colored Oparara River below,
one of the biggest arches we've ever seen!
Besides we still found time for geocaching and picked up quite a few caches on our way.
This was one of them!

From 19th February to 20th March Stadibast and I visited New Zealand. Half of the time we made a trip around the North-Island. After a short stay in Auckland we went to: Bay of Islands, Cape Reinga, Rotorua and the Wai-o-Tapu-Thermal Wonderland, the great Taupo-lake… We made a Rafting Tour in the Waitomo-Glowworm-caves or hiked the Tongariro–Alpine-Crossing and, and…
In the second part of our holidays we visited the south island, hiked in the Abel-Tasman-Reserve , went to the Marlborough-Sounds, the Golden Bay, the Oparara-Arch, the Franz-Josef- and Fox-Glaciers, had a great sight on Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman, relaxed at the Wanaka- and Hawea-Lakes,….
New Zealand is a very amazing country and with exceptional natural sites. We are very impressed of these great nature monuments and sights and we are happy that we met so much friendly and helpful people.
On the way from Motueka to Westport we passed this place and stopped here to search for the Cache.

Today was the day we wanted to crank up some numbers so we went caching for 'park and Grabs'. It was a lovely day and we started in Wakefield before heading south and then back north. This was cache No 17 and we left a travel bug. Thanks to all the cache owners who made this a special day.

On our fourteenth day in New Zealand we drove from Greymouth to Nelson. Weather was again grey and wet, not our favourit for Geocaching )
A short stop, kook around and the box was in our hands.

On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.

Today we drove from Nelson to Greymouth. Of course some caching on the way. This was one of todays finds. TFTC!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Seventh day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. Driving to south and heading to Christchurch Mega event. Heading south by west coast via some nice caches!

HockeyHiker19 and I were on day 7 of our geocaching honeymoon in New Zealand. We pulled up and made the find just before a couple of landscape maintenance workers arrived.

Just as we pulled the cache out, two caretakers arrived to work inside the monument's fence! Oh well. We just signed the log and put it back without giving them a second glance. Thanks!

Our family are travelling in our campervan to Nelson. Jdscout was back at the wheel. I convinced him to stop. A nice place to stop too.

NZDi and I had planned a two day caching weekend with the original idea to cache from Blenheim to At Arnaud to Kawatiri Junction to Nelson on Friday, then cache around Nelson on Saturday. We decided this would be too ambitious and scaled it back and start from Kawatiri Junction and this was the twenty-first cache of the day.

Throughout the weekend our logs were signed Kiwimykl + NZDi or KM + ND or variations of the two with or without the date depending on the size of the space available and / or the particular logging requirements of the CO.

Thanks to a good hint, this was a QEF PnG on our road trip from Kawatiri Junction to Nelson

Hello from Germany, since one week we stayed in New Zealand. What a beautiful country! Today we drove from Nelson to Greymouth. On our way we stoped at some nice places and found easy hitten caches. This was one of it. Thanks to the owner.
