The attached accommodation/resort looks to have great views of Brisbane CBD and vicinity! I parked adjacent to the road, and I made my way up to the rocks next to the car park. A one-pass along the rocks had me spot the suspicious nook, which contained the nicely constructed and unique container with integrated camouflaged cover. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I grabbed the TB for future travels. I had trouble sorting where to sign in the logbook, as it is comprised of a bunch of loose pages together; a simple staple would be amazing. Thanks Nastyrangey for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This morning, it was a quick round trip to Mount Samson, and then I returned home through Clear Mountain Conservation Park. A recently published geocache became my target, and I used the opportunity of my outing to find a cluster of geocaches within the vicinity. It was a brisk morning, but the scrubland visits made me enjoy the outside adventures.
Forgetting to read the hint I was looking in the wrong spot entirely. Obviously coming up empty, I reread the description and hint, turned around and there it was. Excellent camo, an easy find if you look in the right spot. Thanks for the clever container.
Very clever beautiful views and lovely fresh air. Found with DL197 2:35pm log is full and very damp. Needs a little thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place.
Great hunt well camouflaged but was found with the help of bryce3515.
Found 02/07/23 2:32pm thanks for the cash

Nastyrangey I found your cache ClearMtn Rocks on 1/4/2023, 3:30 pm. This is my find 4922 and find # 26 today. Found it after a brief search. Coordinates spot on. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I wish I’d brought some new log paper with me. This log’s a bit damp and tired. TFTC!
Sandra took the geomonsters to the pictures this morning to see the Minions: The Rise of Gru, so I headed out to check out the caches over at Clear Mountain.
Spotted something that look a bit out of place and bingo as per the hint item (and obvious place to hide something), cache found.
Fantastic views towards Brisbane.
Thanks!!

I loved this one its located in a really hidden place that no muggle will ever come across
Quick and easy find today. There were lots of cars, some even parked right in front of GZ, but there was a parking spot in the carpark. Walked around and found the cache easily. TFTC Nastyrangey
Could not find anywhere after adventuring the entire rock wall, found lots of roads and spiders!
Wow! I've completely forgot how amazing the view is from up here, it's absolutely stunning.
With the car parked in the lodge carpark I briefly took in the sights before starting to search for the cache, how could you resist. Once at GZ the sneaky cache was quickly spotted and retrieved, but as soon as I popped the beast open one half of the cache fell out of my hand and rolled down the hill, luckily I was able to reach it in time otherwise it would've ended up on the road. Opps!
With the log signed at both pieces of the cache firmly back in place it was time to head off.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Unfortunately, the mentioned parking spot now has bollards so you can’t pull over there but I found a spot of grass on the side of the road. Quick find and admired the fantastic views. Thanks for the cache
We had the opportunity for a morning out in the Samford / Dayboro area taking in some great galleries on the Samford Art Trail.
We were hoping to have lunch on the balcony at the hotel here, but alas very busy and no tables available. Disappointment however was avoided as we saw that there was a cache nearby. Down the driveway and along the road and the search began, and not very long after we had a container in hand. What a great container and hide. Log sheets were dry here and we were back to the car in no time. Thanks very much for the cache Nastyrangey, we really enjoyed the find.

Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL
Excellent co-ords made for a quick find. Great container, worth a FP
Thankyou Nastyrangey for placing this cache.

We stayed the night at the Clear Mountain lodge, and as we got ready to leave to head to Dayboro for the mega event, a quick search of nearby caches showed us this one...a mere 20m away. A great way to start the day.

Last for the day. Admired view toward the city and the rather large house on the other side of the road before turning interest to the cache. Wander3d along the rocks till spying the odd man out. Nicely constructed. Tf5c
Out on earthcache day picking up a few smiles on the top end of the dark side.
Found with GS1947 & RoddyC.

That is a spectacular view of the city... disrupted today with a giant crane at the nearby construction site...
Nicely constructed cache... I attempted to put the “temporary” log into some sort of order and I replaced the snap lock bag... tftc...

Quick find. Very clever!! 6th find for the day with Angelagram. Thanks for the cache!
Found fairly quick rock wall find whilst out and about today. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Happened to be staying in the lodge so it was an easy walk to find it. Great little hidding spot.
Over-shot the mark when driving so a back-track on foot soon located this unique cacheT indeed for an original cache container.
On our motorbike ride we stopped here for a photo of the beautiful scenery. And noticed this cache.
Awesome cache, a fav point from me!

Parked across the road under the big old fig one of my favourite trees. All is good with this one. Thanks for the views
Great place for a Sunday drive and a lovely little cache with spot on coords. Great stuff. Thanks for placing
Clan-mess and I seem to have difficulties with these hides, but not today.
We parked across the road and found the cache quickly while enjoying the scenery.

Oh no. Not another one of these type of caches. These hiding places aren't always the most hand friendly.
I was wrong about this one though. The cache was located quickly and the log signed.

Great camouflage and not too many muggles to worry about today, lovely view! TFTC. Happy New Year!!!
Left geohubby to search for the cache while I stood and admired the view. He found it on the ground but replaced in the obvious place, loved the container. TFTC Nastyrangey
Out and about grabbing a few caches today with Dora the Explorer! and Phil Serenity.
This cache was found not long after arriving at GZ.

On my way out to mount Samson to collect a few caches today before the predicted poor weather arrives tomorrow. Another beautiful day in seq.
Found signed and returned safely.

Staying at the lodge here and got up to watch a beautiful sunrise. Grabbed this quickly before heading in for breaky, what a perfect view! Tftc
I'm glad I had to drive up here to find this cache because it answered a long burning question I'd had. Many years ago I came up here to the resort for a school conference to present some software I had written. I had a room thrown my way for the night and seeing my wife was a teacher at the school we were the only couple present and all the other teachers were snaky as hell. It was so long ago that I couldn't remember where this place was but it all ticked back into place as soon as I saw it.
I must have never walked out the front either because I didn't know how good the view was. I had to stand here and take it all in before looking for the cache. Rock walls aren't necessarily my favourite tourist attractions but it wasn't that big a wall to hunt through. Found the very cool cache container just before a couple of Sunday drivers came up to look over the place. tftc

Very clever!! Even after we worked out what we were looking for, it still took us ages to find.
Quick find while we took in the view and walked around the grounds of the hotel. Nice hide and crafty container. TFTC
Out for a drive tonight with Net88 and AndyCol95, we had decided to go up this mountain and on the way I asked, "Are there any caches up here?"
Net88 replied, "Yeah there is one at the top where we’re going, but I’ve already found it."
Right, off we go!
We got to the top of the mountain, parked and AndyCol95 and I got out to start our search.
At first AndyCol95 and I started searching too early but then we read the hint and went to the correct place.
It wasn’t too long before we had it in hand.
TFTC, cute container!

In the area for work and we got to stay at the Clear Mountian Lodge. This one was a nice easy find close to the accomodation. TFTC.
Heading south from Mooloolaba to clear mountain for our last 2 nights here is Aussie. Been a great trip - even though I would have liked better weather in the first week and more geocaching (hubby really struggles with it).
We were told to visit the glass house mountains on our way so we did..
A nice lunch in a nearby cute wee town - then back to the lodge for a relax.
After parking - I was out and around the grass to this one.
Well hidden - should not be muggled here.
