In town to climb Mt Kosciusko (with the bonus of a geo event at the top). I made it my business to solve the coordinates for this multi while here and when the roads opened again after the Snowy Classic I was able to sign the log. My knowledge of Thredbo is all related to the disaster that happened in 1997. It was nice to come here to pay tribute. Thanks for making it part of your cache
On a road trip to attend Capital Geobash Mega and see many different sights along the way. Today we were heading to Mt Kosciuszko to attend an event and cache with 2beez. We have been here before but that was pre caching. Thanks wing6rider for creating for us all to enjoy. 2beez did the hard yards counting the steps! At GZ, we found it after looking from the right angle. Our final cache after a fantastic day. ...................................................Are you ready to nominate in the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards**? Check out the 2023 geocaching lists [available here](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/) to get a head start and find some of the great new caches. Nominations will open early 2024.
Wondered around Thredbo getting the answers for this multi. I had stopped at WP 2 and had a delicious eggs Benedict. Highly recommend here for coffee as well.Arrived at GZ and it took a bit to find the cache, but did in the end.TFTC
As WP3 is out of action you will need to "count" 141 steps virtually! Good luck!
This cache can no longer be traced, since the WP3 assignment (Exertion) can no longer be carried out due to ongoing repairwork to the steps.
Great meander through Thredbo Village with GEOJoh before a treat on the drive back towards Jindabyne. TFTC!
Whilst in Thredbo for a family Wedding I was able to do the leg work and gather all the information needed and completed the calculations prior to today. So today we made the drive home and pulled up to make the find. TFTC.
Octarine Grass Country is one of the examples of the high amount of magical background radiation in the Ramtops. The reason for its name is the strange hue the magic gives to the local flora. The river Quire, rising in the Ramtops, is the principal river and waterway, and flows on through Quirm to the sea.
CaptainVimes and I are on a driving holiday from Melbourne to Canberra this week. We had no difficulty calculating everything here and made a quick find at GZ. Thanks for the fun wing6rider
After collecting most of the information for this one on a lovely early morning walk around Thredbo, we spent the day up in the mountains, having a great time in such beautiful autumn weather.
At the end of the day, it was a little too late, and poor Mr Domsky had stumbled on the metal pathway just before the chairlift down. We had been running to catch the last lift of the day! Note to self. Never run on that metal pathway!
We decided instead, to head back to camp at our base in Jindabyne and leave this one until the following morning.
We only had one more way point to collect, and after taking a walk along the pipeline Trail, gather the final bit of information before heading back to Jindabyne again and collecting this one along the way.
Log signed where we can report all is safe and dry with the hide.
Thanks Wing6Rider & Crystal Warrior
A FP added here.

We made our way through at least three of these way points, and managed to explore a little of Thredbo before heading up to the top in the chairlift.
After counting the number of stairs (twice), we stood in agreement of our numbers.
It was then time to head up for the day, and we had hoped to finish this one at the end of the day, but in the end had run out of time, and will keep this one and all the notes we have for our next visit to Thredbo.
Thanks wing6rider and Crystal Warrior for all the enjoyment you have given us around Thredbo. We hope you are enjoying warmer weather!

Day 3 of the Jindy Jaunt. After our expedition up the mountain yesterday, there was still an hour left on the NSW park pass, so we decided to head up to Thredbo for a few more caches.
After our walk and morning tea in Thredbo we headed back to Jindabyne, but not before we stopped near GZ of this cache. In the nearby resort a triathlon was in full progress, but we had no issues finding and retrieving the cache.

Out and about again, a trip out to Kosciuszko to sign some high elevation caches. Phone was running out of power super quick so had to switch off every time to search with Jindabyne Exploration party. Then I did a few on the way to Cooma. Made the way back to Canberra where I hit some hides around Mt Airlie then back to Queanbeyan.
Had a big session of Adventure Labs too.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining their hides.

After a walk through Thredbo, a hot chocolate, and an investigation of the MTB chairlift and hire prices, we headed to gz where a triathalon was happening (well not at gz, but at the resort).

After walking to the top of Mt Kosciusko today, heading back to Jindabyne for an event then having dinner, you'd think I'd want a rest. Well I got my second wind (or maybe fifth) and seeing as my park pass still had time left on it, we headed back to Thredbo.
It was dark and now the night life was out so the drive was a little slower.
We got the info for the multi under torch light. Now at GZ it was a bit of a GPSr Walt's before the torch beam highlighted the cache....

Found while night caching with FUF009. We had fun dodging the drunk yobbos in Thredbo. Tftc
With our usual caching buddies doing an extreme walk today, fitzy_1965 & I took it easy.
We even enjoyed a sleep in which is usual on a caching trip. Once we got going, we headed out to Perisher and picked up an oldie and some AL's.
Next we stopped in Jindabyne for morning tea then continued to Thredbo to do the pipeline walk. It was so lovely and cool walking the trail.
After finding the information for the multi, we decided to go back to the dam near pipeline 6 for lunch. A beautiful place to just sit. Once we got going again, it was a quick find at GZ.

29,933. Found with minniek during our Kosciuszko Expedition Weekend caching around the Snowy Mountains.
After a sleep-in (a what??) we headed out from our campground to grab a few caches - not many during a fairly relaxing couple of days touring around Perisher, Thredbo and Jindabyne itself. After finishing the Thredbo caches and doing the tour gathering the required info for this one, we headed back to the BBQ area at Pipeline #1 for lunch in the shade. Then we headed back out of the park to grab this one. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one.
Thanks wing6rider & Crystal Warrior !! Fav Point !

Spending some time in the high country to take in some of the many wonderful bushwalks, and finding some of the last remaining caches in the area for me. Until there’s more!
DAY 3 - A fantastic walk along the river in the evening. A band playing in the distance. What’s not to live about an evening stroll in the mountains.
As I completed the Pipeline series of Trads I pushed my way through the throng of Friday afternoon revellers to collect the needed data for this multi. I got stuck on WP2, too many revellers, and the data did not appear easily. I reached out to a previous finder for a helping hand, an before too long had completed my stroll through the village and had a set of coords. As promised, on the way to Jindy which is just as well as I was making my way back to CP anyway.
This cache was a quick easy find even in the semi darkness, and cache is in good condition.
Thanks so much wing6rider . And for getting me out and about, and for highlighting this spot

Nice walk around Thredbo even if took a while to find WP1. GZ not far from our camp grounds. TFTC
What a runaround that was, but enjoyable. Could not find WP1 for ages. Tricky. We had a difference of 2 on the stair count, but figured it wouldn't hurt too much. It worked out nicely, as we are camping at Thredbo Diggings, but needing to go to Jindabyne for supplies. Quick find once at gz. TFTC.
Found with friends on an awesome adventure up to the top of the world (well, Australia)
For years, I've wanted to hike Mt Kosciuszko for my 40th. Well, this year was the year, and I was thankfully to have some great friends come with me for the experience. We had THE BEST weather and experience humanly possible. Just stunning. Left from Thredbo and headed up the ski lift, and then the walk began.
There was still lots of snow, despite it being December. This was a novelty for us, and there may or may not have been a snowfight and a snowman in the snow.
Answers collected, we then grabbed this multi on the way home.
Thanks for maintaining this awesome cache. Truly enjoyed the views, both at the WPs and at GZ.

We had driven to Kosciuszko this weekend for the ultra trail event, so today was the chance to go for a wander around Thredbo to help the legs recover and move a bit. After walking up to the Kosciuszko lookout, we returned later in the day and then completed this one. Ah stairs!!! Why so many stairs!!! The legs felt better for though! Calculated GZ, and sure it enough, we were able to pick up the cache on our back to Jindabyne. Enjoyed the walk today.

Day 10 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives before continuing south for a loop around the Snowy Mountains.
After spending last night in a hotel in Thredbo, I headed out this morning just after sun up for a walk along the Pipeline Trail. 3° outside and a thick frost on the ground - definitely the coldest we have encountered so far this trip. Luckily I was rugged up enough that it was still a comfortable walk along the trail, with some good views of the surrounding mountains.
It was then time to continue our trip with a drive up towards Charlottes Pass, before heading towards the coast for the run home. On the drive down from Thredbo we were waved down by a young guy on the side of the road. He had managed to run his car off the side of the road late last night and wedge it on a rock. He had walked 2 hours back up to Thredbo to stay overnight and was now walking back down to meet a tow truck to extract him. Having had to take advantage of strangers' hospitality to get us out of our own tricky spot earlier in the trip, it seemed karma that we were now paying back the favour to someone else. Although he didn't seem to quite know where he had left the car, we eventually came across it stuck well off the road. Not sure how he managed to get it that far off the road into that position. With plenty of driving still to do we had to leave him to sort out his predicament - not sure we could have done anything to help get it out from where it was.
Heading out of the National Park I was able to make a stop for this cache. One of the things I like to do before heading off on a geocaching road trip is to do some homework on any multi caches I hope to visit. This tends to save time during our travels and give us more time to enjoy the locations. Indeed this was the case for this cache as I managed to come up with some likely coordinates using the information on the cache page and some geo-logic.
Arriving at GZ the area looked suitable for hiding a cache and it didn't take long at all to lay my hands on the cache. Everything safe and well here. TFTC

After a pleasant walk around the village and up and down a bit counting stuff and mucking around with numbers for a while it was time to head out to Jindabyne for new tyres for the car and to pick up the cache on the way.
At GZ I mucked around trying to get a fix on the cache. After a second look at the location I saw it and was soon signing the log.

This was a really fun little multi. We started this on the 15th of March upon arrival at Thredbo and it was great for learning some history and getting to know the area.
Some of the points stumped us, but only for short periods before we found the correct information and were on our way again. After disagreeing over the number of steps as expected, found the last point successfully and had the co-ordinates for GZ.
GZ was actually just outside where we were staying so we remembered to pick it up on the 17th of March on our way out of the region, a nice easy find in a good spot. We will return for Mt Twynam though!
Thanks for the cache!

So after making the hike up to the summit for the CITO and to make the collect on some of the other caches along the way, Joolay, isopeda and myself took the chairlift down to meet up with barb2e and Kittykatch to grab the pipeline series.
So with GZ worked out, we swung by this one on the way back to Jindy. Luckily this cache was a quick park and grab - I was broken from all of the hiking by now and was officially georooted!
Thanks for the multi, wing6rider

Found with Barb2e, Joolay and SpecimenX during a rather hot afternoon around Thredbo.
And the last one for the day before heading back to Canberra.
Barb2e, Isopeda and Specimen X and I were looking forward to getting these on this trip. Anyway after climbing to Mt Kozzie with Specimen X and Isopeda from Charlottes Pass and coming back via Thredbo chairlift we were pretty much broken but this was in our sights and we pushed ourselves to get it done. Lovely walk along the river. Thanks wing6rider & Crystal Warrior for keeping us going.

On our third trip to Thredbo we finally decided to tackle this multi. We had a great little walk around the village once the day had cooled down. We also used this as an opportunity to introduce some muggles to caching - I think they are hooked! Tftc
Yesterday, we arrived in Thredbo. In the evening we walked around in this village, which seemed to be almost empty. Today at the walk to Mt. Kosciusko we realized, it had not at all been empty - In the afternoon, we continued traveling and immediately came to the place of this box. - Thanks for the Multi!
Thanks good little of Thredbo. Dropped a TB that came from Norfolk Island and picked up a couple to travel back to Sydney for a visit TFTC
Quite a fun little multi. We enjoyed walking around the deserted snow town before the summer crowds appear. We even had a couple of bobsled rides. TFTC!

This year is our 'year of the multi', where we're endeavouring to avoid them less vigorously.... so today on our Thredbo visit, we were organised, with waypoints all pre-added to the GPSr and written worksheets prepared. We got off to a bumpy start at WP1.... we scoured the place, even widened out the search a good 25m with nothing. Back at the car, my wife added - 'did you check the hint' - 'It's a multi waypoint though?' - checked, went back to the spot and wrote down the numbers.....
WP2 was a bit of a search too, with some funny looks from some cafe sippers as we gazed past them, we grabbed a bonus traditional here anyway.
WP3 - I had this pre worked out, but we walked up and down to check, and got 4 different answers between two of us!
WP4 - what a slog.... but the numbers were found, I had completely forgotten about that event, and the location of it was not what I had expected.
As luck would have it, GZ is outside where we're staying, give or take, and the kids found it quickly. We've added 5 TBs to the cache, will lighten the backpack and make way for some of the handfuls we picked up at the mega.... TFTC wing6rider, another FP.....

TFTC! A lovely visit around the town lets us get the needed details for this multi that happens to sit in a lovely place. Definitely not expecting so many people around for Easter, but there was an Easter egghunt! And mountainbikers! And a lovely weather to get to Australia's top peak. We found this on our way back from the top! Thanks for hiding and maintaining wing6rider & cyrstal warrior!
Myself and goose had collected the information needed for this one on our first night in Thredbo and after working out the final location knew that we would have to do it last since we had a bit to do before we would have chance to be near GZ.
Well today we parked up near GZ and in no time at all the cache was found, thanks for a nice multi.

After dinner on Tuesday night stainless steel rat and I wandered around with two objectives. 1, to check out the village and 2, to collect the information for this multi. We carefully checked the information/answers at each waypoint and took the details back to our lodgings to work out GZ.
Satisfied with our results we knew we'd have to leave the final until another day. Fast forward to Thursday and we packed up soon after breakfast and we headed off making our way slowly to the mega.
This was the first cache in our sights and before too long we pulled up at our calculated GZ. Within a couple of minutes we had found the cache and were pleased with ourselves, having completed all the Thredbo caches.
Thanks wing6rider. Adding a favorite point here.

After arriving at Thredbo late in the afternoon a couple of days ago, I visited the starting point, collected the required numbers and calculated the next waypoints.
Information from each of the subsequent waypoints was gathered yesterday morning, before I walked up Mount Kosciusko, and then when I got back in the afternoon.
Today I finally managed to get to GZ.
The coordinates led me to near a couple of trees. I had a quick look around the first one and saw a section of a grey/black painted container partly covered in bark and leaf litter next to a small hollow at the base of the tree. As I crouched down to take a closer look, it moved and I realised that I had been looking at a section of a snake. It slithered into the small tree hollow. Fortunately I did find the real cache at the base of the other tree, 1-2 metres away. After 4 weeks of continuous travelling, caching and camping on this trip, mostly in bush areas in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and NSW, that was first snake I have encountered, which has been surprising. And to see it around 9:00 am in the morning, before the day had warmed, was a bit of a surprise too!
This was a nice little multi that I enjoyed doing. First time I’ve been to Thredbo and I was quite impressed.
Thanks wing6rider & cyrstal warrior for the cache - a favourite point from me.

Sorted the answers for this last December. But someone else was driving. Today, on the way back from Thredbo with Marmaduke Rothschild and a muggle, I stopped to log the final GZ. The muggle found the cache! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
I actually found the answers in Jan 2015 whilst walking the Australian Alps Track and had some rest days in Thredbo, but alas the gz was too far to travel by foot from Thredbo. To-day after caching on Mt Townsend and driving towards home found the cache with JohnnyBoyACT and another part time cacher "bubbles". TFTC.
With the weather hotting up, it was time to escape the heat and head for the hills for the weekend. Hubby and I, enjoyed grabbing a few up around the mountains, where I hadn't explored previously. We made some good discoveries, clever hides and had some real adventures, over the weekend and shared some fun and laughs along the way.
While hubby found a park, way down the road, I was able to do what was need for this one. So I wander around, then up and down, grabbing all that was needed to come up with some likely co-ords. It didn't take too long before a neat little hide was found. It was enjoyable wander around the village.
Thanks for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Day 2 of an epic 5-day roadtrip hiking and 4WDing between the Alpine and Kosciuszko National Parks with Jacko had us travelling from Geehi, spending most of the day hiking around Mt Kosciuszko, and then ending up at Island Bend. Highlights included hosting an event on the highest point of Australia and seeing a leadbetter's possum near the campground late at night.
After a 16km hike between Thredbo and the summit we wandered around Thredbo (together with hundreds of bikers taking part in the Snowy Ride 2018 motorcycle fundraiser) visiting the required waypoints.
It sure was festive in town. I think we chose a good day to **visit Thredbo**.
As far as GZ is concerned, it was indeed 'on our way home'. Actually at that stage we did not have an evening destination yet, so we headed to the cache and then just continued to Jindabyne .
Thanks for the multi, wing6rider & Crystal Warrior.

After a big morning up on the summit we had a cruise around town picking up some much easier caches amongst the charity ride that was taking place. Great to see money being raised for such a good cause.
Was expecting a little multi - man those steps! Easy on the legs will ya! : D
Quiet surprised about the final being so far, didn't really make any sense however was happy enough to pick it up on the way out and must say I really enjoyed the 'tour of Thredbo'. Many thanks for the placement.

GrimRaider and I had a lovely walk around Thredbo, picking up the clues. We stopped halfway and enjoyed lunch at the nearby bakery before continuing on to count steps and pick up the final clue. I wasn't sure if we had it right, but the coords were spot on. Cache found in good condition. Gets a FP from me too - thanks a lot for the fun
Got all the blues this morning and headed into Jindabyne to see the sculptures in the lake. On the way back to Thredbo picked up the cache after a small amount of searching - TFTC
This was good fun, although wp3 was more effort than originally planned given my girlfriend is 36 weeks pregnant. Thanks for a fun morning out
In Thredbo to do the Kosciuszko walk with Bluewattle and team RoddyC on a beautiful autumn day. Before we raced to grab the first chairlift we had found two of the WP's that were close to where we had to be and was well prepared to continue with this good multi when we returned. We got a bit confused at the 1st WP (blaming the long walk we had just done) but it all worked out well in the end. After all the maths were done we were off to find the finaĺ where it didnt take long to locate this neat hide, well done and a favorite point from me.

We came across your cache, wing6rider & cyrstal warrior, on our geocaching holiday in Canberra.
Like quite a few others it seems, we decided to do this cache after conquering Mt. Kosciusko. Will we ever learn?
Forgot about the hint for WP1 and even messaged the CO before realizing our omission before he had a chance to reply (which he did rather quickly - kudos for that!). Then the walk began. Found the WP2 numbers quickly then on to WP3. Oh our poor aching legs! At WP4, found the sad reminder of events we watched in horror on the TV those many years ago now. Now to work out all the numbers.
On our way out to Cooma for dinner before returning to Canberra we made a quick find.
Favourite from us.
Log signed and replaced at 4.65 pm on 10 March 2018. TFTC.

Spent the night at the resort celebrating a friend's milestone birthday with McBarron. Took the opportunity to get out and explore a little with geobaby the morning after.
Struggled at WP2 to find the four digits - the door was open and not viewable on the four passes I did, otherwise very straightforward. I was particularly taken aback by the Memorial. I still remember watching this on the television 21 years ago.

We have travelled from Port Macquarie to the Snowy Mountains, primarily to climb Mt Kosciuszko.
After arriving back in Thredbo on the chairlift we quickly went to all the WP's and came up with coordinates that made sense and matched the checksum.
On our way back to our motel to Jindabyne we made a quick stop to begin our search. We missed it on the 1st and 2nd pass but on our 3rd we hit the jackpot.
Thanks for the cache

For the life of me I could not find any 8 digit number at the listed coordinates... not sure what I was doing wrong so I am very thankful that from the hints I could work out where the other waypoints were. I calculated a GZ and indeed it was just outside of the park so I was very happy, it was also very close to where I was staying so I saved this cache for my daily on our last full day up at Crackenback.
Once at GZ I spent ages looking for it... again, not sure what I was doing wrong. About to give up (and drive to Jindy for my daily!!) when I saw something and huzzah.... there it was. Took one of the TB's, left the other.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache!

Collected the clues gradually over our stay then went for the cache on the way home. It was fun exploring different parts of the village although my legs were definitely not happy after completing WP3. Goodbye Thredbo! TFTC.
Not a fan of ski resorts but did the cache anyway. Quick find and was soon on my way. Tftc tnln
Staying in Thredbo for a few nights whilst we explore the Snowy Mountains with JJCC. As it was heavy rain today we decided to take a drive up to Perisher Gap, Charlotte Pass, then back down to Smiggin Holes, Guthega, before heading to Island Bend to find a cache hidden there. On the way back to Thredbo we stopped by to pick up this cache which we had worked out GZ for yesterday. Luckily the rain had ease and a quick find was made of the container thanks to the accurate coordinates. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing everything as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache wing6rider.

I have had this done up to WP4 for a long time. Finally today I had the chance to finish it while visiting my son in Jindabyne.
This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
After getting to the top of Mount Kosciuszko yesterday, we were feeling rather sluggish today. Hence we decided to make this a much easier day by driving to different locations and caching within short distances of the car. Initially we went to Perisher Valley and Charlottes Pass mainly to see the areas as there were very few caches. Then we came back to Jindabyne before heading back to Thredbo. Yesterday we ran out of time and energy to look for the caches in Thredbo Village so our return today was to try to find those caches. Whilst we were there was an intense thunderstorm with fork lightning, accompanied by quite heavy rain, which started about midday – we were glad that we went to Mount Kosciuszko yesterday rather than leaving it today. We then came back to Jindabyne to look for a few caches in the area. It was mid afternoon and we decided to head off to Cooma to find some other caches that we missed when we came through the town on Saturday. That means that we will not have to go back into Cooma tomorrow as we head from Jindabyne to Tumut tomorrow.
This was probably not a good cache to attempt the day after walking to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko as walking around some parts of the Thredbo Village was quite demanding with numerous steps and some steep roads - our legs were complaining! However it did give us an interesting look around some of the buildings in the area. Data collection was completed without too many hassles. It was interesting to visit the site of the Thredbo disaster in 1997 but it was remarkable that the site is now very densely surrounded by new buildings. Obviously the engineers have done their job well but for us there would always be some doubt about future earth movements. With the final coordinates calculated, we postponed our search for this cache until we had completed caching in Thredbo and we were heading back towards Jindabyne. Once at GZ, accurate coordinates and easy access led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks wing6rider & Crystal warrior for an interesting multi which enabled us to explore some parts of Thredbo.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 408 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 96.5. We are now entertaining the possibility that we might be able to achieve our gaol before this trip ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

Every year since 2005, I've attended The Snowy Ride on the first Saturday in November. I solved this one on the last night I was here last year and have been waiting patiently to return for the find this year. I had hoped to hunt earlier in the weekend, but it had to be today on my way out to do as many of the ride checkpoints as I could fit in.
I sat down and checked my calculations and set up a google map so I knew when to stop on my way down the hill. The mapping worked pretty well as the geo-son and I parked within 25M of GZ. A short walk to what looked like a logical spot and the hide was quickly located and the log signed.
I was hoping to drop off a TB at this one, but once again the TB was too big for the container, so just a visit today. TNLNSL, TFTC wingrider6 & crystal warrior.

We did lots of caches in Thredbo, but this is the only one I can claim. Thredbo was so much fun. Thanx for all the caches.
I started out alone on this one, looking for the first clue. I could not find anything and had to explain myself to a family nearby. The mum was quite astute, saying, "So it's like Pokemon, but for adults?" I went back to the place we were staying and saw that all I needed was in the hints. Thanx for answering my emails CO! Finished the rest of the clues with geodaughter ZoNic the following morning and found the final prize on a drive to Jindy later in the day. Signed for ZoNic. thanx for making the trip to Thredbo that bit more fun for this non-skiing old bloke.
9 of 9 caches found on a long weekend in Thredbo. Nice little stroll around Thredbo and a nice easy find at GZ. Beware of the monster flies lol! Left TB...TFTC!
Camped just out of Thredbo for the night and left this one till this morning. Got the co-ordinates yesterday and made this cache the first for today. No problems finding this one and all was good with both the log and container. Thank you to wing6finder for placing this cache.

In Thredbo for a few days on holiday. I wandered around yesterday collecting the information. Today we went for a swim at the diggings, so I did a wee detour beforehand to easily find this cache. TFTC and the tour.
