As I approached the cache from the south and stared at giant cliffs I questioned the terrain rating of 2.0. Then as I climbed up somewhat precariously from the beach side I realised there were thankfully other ways. However if it was rated on the green ant scale it would have been 5.0. Half of the challenge was remaining as ant-free as possible. Thank you Mt Temingi for an enjoyable, interesting cache. The views from on top were worth the extra effort.
A bit of a climb but found it thank you Cap is damaged so cache is compromised. Request maintenance for it.Cheers
This one disappointedly eluded us today. Although we had fun scrambling down and walking along the rocks
Came from the top but didnt like the look of that so I came from the bottom and got lucky pretty quickly. TFTC
On our way to Yeppoon for 12 days with silence49 lance51 codawives Deafcat DutchAus SuriVisio log as deafgroup Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache Temingi.

Another day out with cousin Temingi searching for some more caches and found this one in good order. Thanks Temingi for the cache.
This cache was the highlight of my geocaching trip! The cliffside location added an extra level of excitement. It took some careful maneuvering, but the cache was found. Signed the log. The combination of the cliffs, caves, and crashing waves made this an unforgettable experience
Day 6 of the CQ reflection Tour for ruzzelz. This has now morphed as a week long holiday in Yeppoon, with T4mmmy, Just-a-Trifle, Fangsoki, Crew 153, 1MinnieMoo and Prime - we are the YEP23 mob.
1 MinneMoo and I took the beach approach and Wow the rock climb was fun. Meanwhile we briefly saw Prime just above us and then heard lots of thrashing about. Great spot.

In Yeppoon with the YEP23 mob and we stopped at a likely parking spot and there was some discussion about private property boundaries and access routes and we were We picked a route and quietly headed towards the cache and it was up to Pprime to locate the cache.

A week long holiday in Yeppoon, with T4mmmy, Just-a-Trifle, Fangsoki, Crew 153, 1MinnieMoo and Ruzzelz - we are the YEP23 mob. Hmmm, approach one along the beach not for the faint-hearted. Approach two from past the houses seems to no longer be an option as the vacant lot has a building going up. So Approach three, along the back of the bottom houses was the way. That grass is not their backyard - despite it's 'looks'. But still a bit unnerving. I scooted along the edge, quickly up to the bluff and then went bush - dislodging at least one green ant nest onto me (sigh), and then popped out onto a precarious edge - and 2m back along the ridge was the cache - brushing off ants and signing the log and not falling over the edge and getting back out again ... all good.
Thanks Temingi for entertaining me at this location.

1MinnieMoo, Pprime, Ruzzelz, Mrs Just A Trifle, Mrs Crew 153, Crew 153, T4mmmy and myself piled out to tackle this one next.
I have to say this one put me into a new level of anxiety. It all looked a bit too much like private land to me. But we got to GZ and soon found the prize. The views were fantastic. TFTC Temingi

Day 4 of our Easter Holiday trip to Yeppoon. Another early morning start for our group as we had quite a bit to cover today.
While Ruzzelz and I opted to head via the beach, and the others debated which way would be best to go, Pprime approached from the top. He chose correctly, as he got the cache easier from his angle than us…. But he also got all the ants, while we got the beauty of the beach, including discovering the cave here. Log was very quickly signed as Yep23 before a speedy exit from Pprime was made. I however enjoyed smelling the beach “roses” for a moment or two.
Thanks for the cache Temingi.

Very hard not recommended for little children. We climbed to the very top and couldn’t see any thing. Can not find from top of hill but climbing from the rocks could be easier. Came home with a few cuts and grazers.
Holy heck this one was tricky, lots of looking but eventually had a climb and found it!!
Definitely not go anyone who is afraid of heights!

Headed down to Yeppoon for a 4 day weekend due to Mackay Show Holiday. Cruiser loaded up with Caravan, Kayak with electric motor. Segway. Tree Fishing Pole. Retractable ladder, etc. Hope fully prepared for a cache attach on Yeppoon.
Have been looking forward to these Temengi caches for quite sometime.
Thanks Temengi for placing these for our enjoyment.
Some of these puzzles were solved early last year and I have been itching to get back to log them.
Had a great day out on the water yesterday in the Causeway with the kayak.
Caught up with CO Temengi for a good Geocaching chat and a few hints and guidance. Thanks Temengi.
Great location for a cache

Found but it certainly isnt for the Faint hearted, bit of work to get into and near a nice drop straight down!!!
Wow not for the faint hearted, best and safest (if you can call it that) place to access is from the top behind the houses. Be careful and not the best place to be if you don’t like heights.

Thoughts came to mind of a Ringo Starr song as I walked back to the car.
“it don’t come easy.
You know it don’t come easy!”
Our memories from some of Temingi’s caches 5 years ago were still fixed in our minds so we weren’t surprised!
Circled round, up and down a bit until we finally spotted it!
After a morning spent solving a few puzzles that had us stumped with Termingi and his lovely wife, we decided to try and find a few caches on our way back to the caravan. We might have stopped at a bakery on the way back as well, but other than caching, bakeries are a great way to check out the local attractions when you’re new to an area.
Dodging the odd bit of light drizzle, and trying not to slip as we went, we managed to find all of the caches we looked for today. Now back to the van to try and solve a few more puzzles after the lessons learnt this morning.

First attempt at geocaching. Took some time but found it after looking up.
A bit of a last moment trip but was great full the Bug could also do the dash. Some Interesting puzzles and scenery in between brilliant sun light and rain showers. We had a look at a couple of creeks for future visits.
Struggled with a few hides and the phone certainly didn’t behave at times.
We certainly my took more than the T2 route to the cache and found it out in the open so put it back in the obvious place. The rain began to pick up so decided not to continue rock hopping to the next one further south.
Signing duties completed and re hid. TFTC

Wow , was about to give up on this one but wow found him in the end , awesome little adventure, a bit dangerous would recommend shoes lol
Yea, nah!
Too steep for this old black duck.
Couldn't see any access from the top either.

This was a bit hectic and while I managed to climb right up and back down I could not find where it was hidden. Oh well I really did not have the right shoes for doing this one so moved onto the next one on the list.
Found it!!! Lovely little adventure for the boys with the lovely sunset TFTC!!!
With significant risk of death or injury we abandoned this one with the kids. Rear access available via back of houses is better however takes explorers very close to edge of cliff. After a brief look around we decided to abandon avoiding the risk of a trip and fall.
Nice one!! Beautiful little view once you get there tho bit tricky for geokid. Thank you
Caching in and around Yeppoon, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
With t he tide out we made our way around the beach and Mr "T" made the climb to the top. Great views were had from here, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Opted for the straight up route which was more like a T4 than a T2, maybe there’s another track up. Great spot, spent ages looking in rock pools.

Climbing straight up is way quicker. Great view and nice cave directly under neath. Worth the look
T4 for K.B. no easy mint tins under bench seats in Yeppoon?? Thanks for the lovely view.
Went the beach way yet struggled to find. We ended up having to do a bit of a climb. Once found, we had a beautiful view.
Finally found it (with a bit of help from
Someone who has been there before). First time to find a geocache for the kids!

I feel like the description leads you down onto the beach/rocks etc. but we couldn't find it. Was unsure if the Greenland behind the houses is owned by them or not etc so we just left it.
Hi there Temingi.
We found your cache **"Is it For sure ?"** at 10:20:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 20433).
We started the day off by nominating a cache in Yeppoon and then took a random route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. Today we found 6 caches & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Its the first day raining in our australian holidays. I'm on pretty early cacher tour looking out for this one. Gotcha T4T$ FF5
Well did it the hard way, from the bottom and straight up. Obviously don't recommend it at all, just follow the easiest/most logical way and you'll be fine.
Off to wash the blood away, and rest! TFTC!

Favourite find so far, the view is incredible but protective clothing is a must as the scrub is sharp
After a previous DNF some weeks ago got the chance to come back and have another look
Found fairly quickly this time and sat and took in the view for a while

A geocaching roadtrip is an amazing thing. It takes lots of preparing, planning and pre puzzling to ensure time on the road is maximised. I have to say I exhibited none of these attributes as we readied ourselved for this roadtrip. I was fortunately joined by the energizer bunny (seffnjarah) and the Square Jawed Mountain Man (Crookedpete) who both like to prove how capable they are as the alpha males of the Bromance. While there is often much chest beating and tantrums, we manage to remain positive and end up with a good plan of attack.
We set off on Friday lunch time (so CP had time to make himself pretty) and returned late Sunday nigh, traveling some 2000klms, approx 70 caches of varying D/T Ratings, in just on 54 hours. Sadly there were a few DNF's (which some of the team took harder than others), but we saw many different cache styes, and some amazing places. Thanks to all the CO's who placed these caches for us to find.
Some of these I managed to get close too, others were just too difficul tin my current state of health. My caching buddies assisted to get my nme in the cache. Some really beautiful locations here. Stunning views.

After a walk along the beach it was time to head on up an commence searching for the cache. The GPS took a while to settle down but soon indicated a spot to search and sure enough a cache was located. TFTC
It has been far too long since Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I did stupid things on a roadtrip a long way from home. So, a caching road trip from Brisbane to Rocky & Yeppoon and a few ports (and mountains) in between was planned. The well planned though overly optimistic caching itinerary included miscellaneous mind bending puzzles, half a dozen or so of Queensland's Oldest caches a few wee hill climbs, a healthy selection of unloved caches and any other interesting caches in between.
Second one for the morning - a brief walk along the beach was followed by a scramble up the headland. The GPS was bouncing around a lot. Whilst I searched where indicated, Seff made the find where his GPS was pointing. Thanks Temingi
