As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
In recent weeks we have emailed the owner to let her know of our intention to replace this cache, with no response.
We then replaced the cache and notified her, asking that the cache be re-enlisted. Still no response.
Perhaps the owner has computer problems, or personal or family challenges. There is a whole range of things of higher priority than geocaching; and our intention is not to disrespect this owner. They have found a lovely place for a cache and we would like to keep one there.
However, this cache has been unavailable for over 7 months. When it was first flooded, I offered to replace it, since I am in a time of life where I have more free time and less responsibilities. My offer was declined and I was told it would be replaced within the week.
It is now time to archive it so that they spot can be reused.

Any chance of this being fixed any time soon?
It's been a couple of months, and as the cache description says, it is within "walking distance from home".

Sorry J J...my back is playing major havoc at the moment so my movements are limited. I will try as soon as possible.
Have removed cache for maintence. The cache got flooded! Sorry to anyone who has looked for the cache and couldnt find it...I have had computer issues. Will try and get a more waterproof container and replace. Cheers, Miriam
Search everywhere - no cache - assume missing??? Would be lovely if owner check up please. Thanks.

Quite dry today, but that was no help to us. Found ourselves at an obvious place in keeping with the clue, but even after a long search we found nothing.
Found the cache, after slogging throught the mud, it REALLY needs maintenance!! Couldn't get more wet if it was placed under a tap! Totally full of water, I wasn't able to sign the log book because it was underwater and thorougly saturated!!
Took photo's to prove we found it!

Delta was very keen to get this one off the list!! SO despite all the water, slosh and mud, he put on his big gum boots and treked through the muddy water, I cheered him on from the (dry!!) sidelines!

Had a great time getting here to find the cache!! Great location, but needs a much more watertight cache container!

Thanks Delta Echo for advising us on the issue of water logging...we will chase it up ASAP! Cheers, Miriam.
Went with Delta to find this one - we got as close as 34 meters from it, but couldnt get any further without getting totally wet!!!
Will come back in drier season

Went to find this one tonight, but we got close to the cache and decided that we might need to come back with a boat, or at least some duck-boards to get through all the mud and water, I really hope that the cache is water-proof or up of the ground!
12:52 Found on our June Long Weekend YP mud slide!
The last day of the long weekend, and it was time for some Pyramid caching.
Slippery when wet is an understatement. More like a lake when wet We tip toed to GZ via the lake, after A had troubles finding it for the first 5 mins or so.
Ahem. Who forgot the tent poles?

It was a cold wet day when we found this one and my feet sunk in the mud, coating my new shoes with layer upon layer of mud.

The smooth bit was once a forest. Or is there a pulp mill close buy [?] Did the ANZ pull out of the project. Or did Peter sign off [?]
Who knows. But Freddo was wise. He did not drive there. I held my breath as i made the find. No Midnight Oil music was played during the caching of this cache.
There was daylight left after doing the Pyramid Series, so why not keep caching?! We also decided not to make this a driveby, although that big flat area looked tempting TNLN, TFTC
The flat smooth bit looks like skating rink so we parked the car and walked rather then trying a driveby.
Found by Lilysu and dog. Thanks for taking me out there. A beautiful afternoon walk and then home in the sunset.
