I tried to sneaky solve this at home but kept getting the wrong answers, so it was time for a real visit! My first coords didn't seem correct and a walk by was needed. Is it that it down there? Surely not. I retreated to the car and waited out the sunset stalkers (the lookout was packed) before heading back out and getting the cache. All is good with it, and access wasn't as bad as some had made it seem. Thanks for the short multi!
Just realised pulling up to the initial coordinates that we already had the actual ones. After double-checking the maths, we made it to the hiding hole. I'm surprised this placement was approved since it didn't seem the safest.
I took photos to work out the final coordinates a while ago. Today we were going past GZ with some time available and reasonably fine weather, so we stopped and walked to GZ. How do we get there? With a T3 , of course its not on the pathway! Some athleticism demonstrated by The _EVIL_MUGGLE got him to GZ, saving me from having to do it! Hes got longer legs anyway. Thanks for the fun of finding this cache Starruby.
Found it relatively quickly although had to do some mountain goating. Ive dropped a trackable which is originally picked up in Brimleigh beside the beach. This ones been on my collect list for quite some time TFTC
This was best hide for today. Spot on coordinates, brilliant location. A quick find. Glad didn't have to go down there! FP from me.
While staying down at Mt Eliza we decided to check out some caches. Picked up the clues and worked it out ok. Took the short walk and scaled our way. Agreed it could do it a CITO here. Great views. Thanks for the challenge Starruby
This was fun! We were looking at the beginning without having exact coordinates, just thinking that it could be there (in the location I had in mind). But after actually calculating the location, I understood that it is completely elsewhere. It was tricky, but eventually found it!Grab a pen or pencil with you - it is missing from the container. Thanks! Great one!
Visiting Melbourne from Port Macquarie. Our last full day down here for this trip. Caching wasn't the main focus of today, with a visit to a major shopping centre taking up a fair chunk of time.Worked out the numbers and soon had gz. Bit of a headscratcher but cache discovered before long. Thanks for the cache
Out with kbucky for a days caching around the Mornington peninsula area. We are targeting a few solved caches along the way. We worked out the numbers quickly enough and then wandered to GZ. This had us scratching our heads before kbucky made the discovery
Out with weirdobiker in peninsula area to look for ones we had both solved and other selected caches on our limited schedule. Some muggle dodging and not trusting our maths we got there. Tftc starruby
We are in the area to keep our 104 day going (& this month's souvenir), and fill this LGA. Saw this multi and made the decision to stop especially for the D/T rating.
Quick calculation and walk to the easy GZ. Then onto the true GZ, where we were looking in all the wrong places. The hint helped tremendously and the cache soon in hand. Lovely hide. Thanks for the fun

On our way back from Devil Bend, n0w0rries stopped at the viewpoint on Oliver's Hill to show Traveling_Jack the bay... and this cache was right there.
A bit of math and a walk and... Oho, what do we have here?
Out foreign visitor did the work of retrieving the cheekily hidden cache.
Thanks, Starruby.

I had started this a few years ago and never got there. I had some time today and finished what I started. Luckily it all worked out.
Found out and about on the 2023 trip for the Rutherglen Mega. Thanks to Starruby and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
What a beaut place to cast an eye towards the horizon. The photos on the cache page are amazing too. Crunched the numbers and wondered if I'd made an error as the ratings seem generous but then I do come from higher altitudes. Also maybe it was more challenging when the cache was created. I performed some gymnastics as the pen was in the car so after two trips I signed the scroll.
Thanks Starruby for adding this cache for us all to find.

Done This a few time, seems we can’t count and had a couple set of coordinates. (Seriously don’t ask us why!). In the area today, made a quick calculation. A good set hopefully this time. Made a quick find, and the other half like monkey made this on look so easy! Signed and replaced. Don’t know how we had so many issues!
Clues managed and great view. Took the scenic route to café plus calf burnt. Hint was condusing but made sense at GZ.
Thanks to Starruby for the fun and the adventure.

My first 4 difficulty rating
Was trying to figure out the long way but gave up an took the short route. Awesome cache, using the most out of Oliver’s hill, despite the bay looking like a chocolate milkshake

I was down south for the CITO and teamed up with OzHockeyChick for some post clean up finds. The D/T of this one grabbed our attention and we soon were computing the numbers for GZ.
Initially thinking we had missed something given the rating, we set off to GZ and spotted the cache pretty quickly. After squeezing through the log was in hand and the stamp applied!
Thanks Starruby for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Beautiful sunny afternoon to collect this one after working out GZ a couple of weeks ago.
Fun maths, simple puzzle. Was confused at the final answer but shortly it all made sense. Felt like a true trapdoor apider
Well what an adventure. We had solved this 6 months ago but there were always muggles around and we were not totally confident in our final co ords. So today being an overcast dog day we came down to give it a shot. No one around so we decided to risk it all and venture to this cache with a challenging retrieval. Log book signed, all in great condition. A favourite point from me.
I wasn't prepared or expecting to go out caching today but somehow my caching buddy Jetsons23 twisted my arm to go out and grab a few in the Frankston area. The weather whilst looking quite menacing and drizzly at times, held out and we were able to enjoy ourselves.
We had solved this one abut 6 months ago and tried on previous occasions to find the cache but there was always something that stopped us at GZ. Today however, we had success. Getting to GZ proved too much for me once Jetsons23 walked into the first big spiderweb and that was it. I lost it and decided to go back to a different vantage point at GZ. The cache was found easily and in good condition. A dirty black eight legged cache guardian greeted us along with my scream.
Beautiful view here. The water was so calm and still even though the sky was cloudy and dreary.
Thank you for the cache here Starrruby

This one would definitely be a challenge during summer time and daytime. But at 10:30 at night on a warm Autumn night this turned out to be an easy one to find but not so easy to get to. Still log is signed and this one is now a yellow face for our map.
This cache had us a lot confused. We did the puzzle and had the first 2 points. Turns out we worked it out way wrong, the clue had just confused us at first. Very busy, so many muggles lucky for us we came along late in the day and as light was fleeting we worked out the puzzle. Even with the light that was fading there was still plenty of muggles. Not sure how you could do this in the day but overall a great cache and one that I would recommend giving a go.
This one gets a favourite point from us and TFTC

Not too hot to be out walking so came up the hill to the nice lookout over the bay. completed the calculations and made a quick find on the way back - thought it was going to be harder than it was.
It’s another lockdown and we’re looking for unfound cages within 5kms. Happy to find this one after a scramble through the bushes. Nice hide and thanks for keeping geokid sane and entertained!
*'Twas the Night Before Lockdown...*
...and thank goodness it was nighttime because oh boy is this an interesting placement!
That being said, I knew what I was getting myself into well before this evening, having collected the required numbers, looked at the final waypoint and thought "well that'll be fun to get at another time that is not right now".
That was some time ago, and a fleeting thought of finally getting around to an attempt here appeared last weekend when we drove right past gz, but there were simply too many people around to even consider trying (by design, I imagine) and we kept on driving.
But finding ourselves close-ish once again, this time at a far later hour, that previously fleeting thought of this cache had since been weighing on our minds for the past week and it was decided to finally take a small detour home and go and give it a shot.
Somehow, there was still a considerable number of cars parked nearby, though thankfully no people to be seen outside, so a quick hop over the fence and I was on my way to gz, pushing past a few bushes (and avoiding a couple of sneaky and tiny spiderwebs) before my GPS signal settled at a particular location and I noticed something of interest.
Turns out it was a very neat cache construction that soon revealed the container in no time at all!
Everything was signed out of sight from passersby (something I was still weirdly concerned about despite there not really being anyone nearby at all) and replaced as found before I took a shorter route (albeit one that called for more athletic abilities than I possess) back to the car and onward to the promise of McDonald's for dessert. Success!
Thanks to Starruby for another ridiculously crafty hide that provides a very unique adventure in this area!

A very nice winters day in the sunshine. The views were picture perfect today as we looked over to the Melbourne skyline.
At the posted coords we did the cals and set off. When we got down to the water level we knew we had made a mistake. Anyway we re read the instructions and quickly realised our mistake. Another uphill walk to the new GZ. Coords here were stable at a particular spot. There I made the decision to go for it as muggles were not around. Straight away I found the cache in the first attempt. Quickly signed and back safe as found. I got back on solid ground and back to car.
Thanks Starruby

Got the coordinates a few weeks ago came to retrieve cache today knowing there wouldn’t be to many muggles as it’s cold & windy. Was a quick find.
Nice quick find on a Sunday arvo lockdown walk with the family. Plenty of muggles to avoid but found a gap. Tftc
What a great cache, some effort involved with this. I weighed up my options but decided to take the long route. A favourite from me.
I pulled in here with a previous finder who suggested I go for this multi. I insisted on solving it myself, then put in some coords. There?!
So with some trepidation I headed over. But luckily I timed it so that I was able to head in without being spotted and pretty soon I had the cache in hand.
Thanks Starruby!

Picked this one up early this morning with the geo gf, worked out the puzzle a while ago. Just before heading into the gz someone honked a few times I assume he was giving me the heads up I was in the right spot. Really liked this hide very creative TFTC
Dropped in today to check on the cache. All still in place, though the foliage is a bit thicker than last time I was here! Sprayed the cache and hidey hole to clear out any arachnids which caused concern for the last finder.
Stunning spot even on a rainy day.
Managed to log this one between two decent downpours. Lucky.
I disobeyed the hint and took the short way and true: not the easiest but feasible! Two jogging muggles added some adrenalin as they kept running up and down the bridge (they passed me about four times - good on them!)
But the biggest hesitation I experienced when I discovered a redbackliving there with its egg sacks! Made me wish I had my gloves! But again: not impossible, just extra care, it's gotta be logged!
Tftc! Great effort for a first one!
Maybe add dangerous animals to the attributes! Cheers

I came here during my lunch break on 4/8/17 and took photos of the clues. Two years later on the 5/8/19 there was internet connection problems at work so we could not do any work. During this time at work, using my phone, I solved several caching puzzles including the coordinates for this one. Today I came and made the find after parking in the bottom carpark, walking along the foreshore and up the hill straight to the hide. Great work out on this beautiful sunny Saturday. TFTC
I have many memories of this hill. Growing up in Mt Eliza, I would’ve passed through countless times. I also lived on Bruarong Crescent very close by for a while. I worked at a local Greek restaurant for many years and drove my boss home through here hundreds of times. An earlier memory is of my dad often stopping by here and taking out his binoculars to view the ships in the bay, which is a hobby I still do today. A childhood friend who lived next door had the name Oliver also.
I managed to do the sums for this a couple of years ago now I recall after taking a picture of what I needed. After working out the ground zero, I figured it was perhaps a little beyond my capabilities. I do recall parking at the bottom of the hill at one point while I was scouting out spots further along the foreshore for a cache of my own and wandered along checking out whether I could negotiate the slope and terrain of the hill and deciding that wasn’t going to happen.
Being in the area, I decided it was time to have a proper crack at getting this cache. Waypoint coordinates still in the app was handy. A thought that unsettled me was, a man seen jumping the rail at the edge of a steep decline could well be mistaken for someone contemplating doing the unthinkable… Once over, the adrenaline kicked in and I spotted a trail which would be useful. Spotting something that I really didn’t think would be the cache, I was pleasantly surprised! It really wasn’t far to go and not as difficult as I thought it may be, although squatting down trying not to be seen with such a steep drop right next to me wasn’t comforting as I’m not a fan of heights.
This one got the heart going. A really fun cache! A favourite for me. Many thanks Starruby!

Dad had a spare hour this afternoon, and was in the area, so dropped down to Oliver’s hill to attempt this multi.
What a great view and the water was so pristine this afternoon. Kayakers were out and the slip-road car park was full.
Easy calc to work out where the final was, then a little wander and a stretch and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for a great little break.

Looking for a cache for the calendar I worked my way through a multi in town which I was unable to locate. My next obvious choice was this one. I made the right choice and after some calculations it was a quick find.

Tftc sl dropped tb ... this is a beautiful cache i fell inlove with this hill the first time I laid my eyes on it. To do a cache here is truly imaginable !
It is only recent that my motivation to grab a cache or two before uni started to kick in again, especially when it came to clearing out the Frankston area. This cache had always had the allure of being harder than what it actually was. But last night I chose to finally knock this one off the list.
So after a little bit of a sleep in today I soon headed off to do a couple multis before uni. Arriving at gmz I was soon able to spot the item I needed amd soon had the answers I needed. A short stroll to gz led me to the thought het that cant be it. So like any other giant I walked over the fence and soon had the cache in hand.
Loved the views and the little hidey hole, thanks for the cache

After making an attempt at Starruby's Bunarong 2 (we ran into a ranger at the supposed GZ), we thought we'd aim for another of the CO's hides.
We have been to this spot countless times, being born and bred locals; and we knew where/what the first waypoint was.
After some calculations we arrived GZ, and conveniently there was a swag item in the open near the hide- something that say a geoboy may have accidentally dropped...something that Geodad may have to enter GZ to get unsuspiciously. We were able to sign the log quickly.
What an excellent cache, Starruby! It earned us our first hidden creature souvenir too- Big Foot. Thank you so much for this hide!

Am here visiting from NZ and our hosts stopped here to show us the views. I quickly worked out this multi while photos were being taken then we headed to a likely spot to find the final. Thanks! Was lots of fun! Great hide.
Out to find a cache with my mate [@Shhhlanksmk](http://coord.info/PRTEW6H). The first one we went looking for was a bust, so I mentioned this one as an interesting one. I've actually been here twice. Once very early in my career, figured out the numbers, made it to GZ, then nope'd all the way back to the car. And once this past weekend, where we jumped out of the car, looked at WP1 to get the info, when my darling wife announced that it was far too cold to go caching, and that I needed to buy her a coffee. I mean, she was right, but still!!!
Anyway, today we grabbed the numbers, strolled on down until we were standing on GZ. Could spot it from the footpath. Unfortunately a persistent stream of cars made this hard to get from above. So instead we went a bit further along, and picked our way back across and then up the cliff face. This was made all the more difficult by a really persistent drizzle. Eventually made it to GZ, and got to put our marks on the page. And, to top it all off, the traffic had dropped right off, so we could go the short way back to the car! Anyway, thanks for the cache, which was a really interesting read, and the hide, which was a most precipitous journey.

I headed to the first stage and did the required calculations. Then I double checked. Just as well, as I had made a mistake. Next to get to GZ. I made a presumption about it, which turned out to be incorrect. But I soon found a good sized hide, well camouflaged. A lot of effort has gone into this one! TFTC Starruby

I decided to have a leisurely drive around the peninsula for a few hours today and look for a few puzzles I had solved along with some other random caches that caught my eye on the way. Magic weather today compared to the recent rain we have had.
This one looked interesting and I felt like doing a multi so I set about getting a set of coordinates. A lot of numbers to add up so of course the first time with the GZ in some houses I recounted and got a much better looking location.
I headed off and spotted something from above then not long after I found a way in and had the cache in hand. Nice one. A favourite from me.
Thanks Starruby for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Grabbed a couple of souvlakis in Seaford and stopped here for lunch.
Great views, good company, excellent food and a Multicache, what more could you ask for.
Cache found after deciding on the most appropriate angle of attack.

Great cache. Nice spot. Spent some time organising the cache as some items seemed to have been left nearby and not in the cache container. Also spent a bit more time repairing the logbook which had fallen apart. Did my best to put it back together in order. ^_^

Living boyhood memories today as down Frankston way for an errand. After visiting the nostalgic Davies Bay down Gulls way and grabbing the cache there headed here to enjoy the glorious spring view and check distances. All added correctly so off to the cache which is placed well and in good order. No trackables inside. Plenty of notebook and left an Indian toy.
It was fitting to do this one Starruby as couldn't catch up today. Finally got here and accepted the challenge. Thanks For the excellent cache.

An initial miscalculation tried telling me it was in someones backyard so checked the numbers again and saw GZ a short stroll away. I thought i knew for sure where it would be but was presentlu surprised! What a great hide!
We couldn't believe our luck today....GZ was deserted. We took in the amazing view and The Tritonz made quick work of finding the cache. Thanks Starruby, great multi.
In Melbourne with the McLookers for 2 days of fun caching, making the most of the dry weather. Great way how all the distances work in the placement of this cache [^] With the coast clear of muggles we were able to retrieve the cache and add our team names to the logbook. Thanks Starruby for a well thought out multi.
We were out today finding some locals and having solved the puzzle a few weeks ago it was just a matter of making the find. This was a team effort with FossiCKENS, we couldn't have done it without them. An amazing clear view on a late winter's afternoon. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found with Loujean1970 on a cold winter afternoon. Puzzle was solved for us so all we had to do was find it. Decided to work our way up for this one, so a nice climb up the hill. Found nice and easily right where co-ordinates told us it was. Logbook was a complete mess, with most of the pages detached. Signed log, added a card and a toy pineapple.

Find # 505
What an epic adventure. Entering co-ordinates incorrectly without checking puts you in someones house. Lots of succulents & cacti growing wild on the hill. Ended up sliding 15m down olivers cliff on bum! (Pic attached).
Quick re-jig of numbers gave a much nicer spot to access.
Found cache totally uncovered with lid off container. Logbook dry but torn.

On 28 Jan 2017 jithi5 commented that my TB7K43G was dropped into 'Oliver's Tryst' (GC1R7TK).
Took 3 visits to finally get the smiley for this multi-cache.
First visit got all the information and did the calculations offsite.
Second visit took a look at the GZ, from both the bottom and top of the hill but realised I didn't want to attempt from either direction in my suit. Did enjoy 15 minutes just watching the little hawk hovering within 10 minutes of me, off the side of the road, until he saw dinner and vanished extremely quickly to catch it. Never saw him return to the air, so assumed he caught it.
Third visit this morning and got sick of waiting for no people around and just went for it.
Log found and signed. The top of the 'hide' was off and no TB inside.
Tried to replace better, but not perfect as I didn't want to spend too long at the location and get caught.
Thanks for the adventure StarRuby

Wow love doing caches that contain history of the area. Awesome lookout.
A very quick calculation and short walk to GZ and we had our hands on it.
not quite safe for children or at night but is do-able with care.

Caching in Melbourne for the MEGA on a whirlwind weekend visit from sunny BrisVegas with "The Megatrons". We're searching for a variety of local caches, and attempting 12 in a day.
This cache was found in good condition after a short search, bringing our grand total to 1871 smilies. Thanks for showing us this great spot, and for placing this cache for all to find.
Feel free to discover our trackable code TGQNRV

I had done the pre-work for this a few weeks ago and even had a walk to my calculated GZ which yielded a bit fat nothing. Once back at base I checked my numbers and noticed a mistake that put me 6 hundredths of a minute out on both south and east coordinates. Not much but plenty enough to miss a cache! I came back today on a warm lunchtime. I avoided the cars parked nearby and headed to where I needed to look. A quick find today. It sure helps when you add up correctly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a bunch of trackables that I'm taking to the Melbourne mega event next month. Thanks for this multi cache Starruby.

A most excellent cache. Possibly my favourite so far, for "OMG, I'm gonna plummet to my death" factor alone. Thanks!
Out with scody when bernieh called me so we decided to meet up for a cache and coffee. This was the cache. Scody had already done this one some time ago but we put his name in logbook too.

Out this afternoon chasing Jack Speak puzzles, dropped by here on the way home, what harm can one more multi do.
Nice quick decode and find with yorsys and scody but I think yorsys did most of the real work whilst scody and I just followed and talked.
Thanks for pacing this cache Starruby

This is a cache that I have known of for quite some time but had always left it for another day. This evening being not very far away the procrastinated another day morphed into today. With the clues gathered I was able soon in a position to spot the cache, and then with a little more effort was actually putting my hands on it. A great number of the pages were loose in the logbook, so I crammed my name in after drjim7 to avoid my entry getting lost among the other sheets.
Thanks to Starruby for the cache.

Great to tick this one off. It's been on my todo list forever. Very amusing to read the excited log from C@H on his first FTF.
I was down in Frankston for lunch with Mum and Dad, so I hit some caches before and afterwards. I had tried for this one a couple of times, but failed each time. Today I tried again and found it without any difficulty. I'm not sure why I didn't spot it before, but I was glad that I finally found it. Thanks to Starruby for the cache.
Great evening & enjoyed the local history lesson. Been driving by for 20+ yrs & never knew !
Well done.
