I set out early this morning to specifically complete this cache before leaving Australia. It was a really nice walk and lesson in local history/earth sciences. Container is in good shape, thanks for the cache.
Collected the info before a $2.50 swim at the fantastic WWII Memorial Pool. Signed the log after our swim. Thanks for the cache.
This was an enjoyable cache that we had been putting off for too long. Glad we finally got around to doing it. TFTC
A walk along the river-front sounded like just the thing to start our morning. Mrs Woodyrothwell and I are seriously trying to be proactive on our week away but I've already noticed a downward trend in the amount of steps we are clocking up each day.
We answered all the questions and thought we had it nailed. We plugged in the coords and wondered whether we were going to need some floaties. We thought we had better review all our answers but we were as confident as a teenager finding the condom has broken. We couldn't work out that we had wrong and so decided to walk back to the hotel and check near where we had calculated.
As we closed in, it was clear that we would have to introduce ourselves to the crocodiles and cracked the sads. There was one spot about 20 metres away from where we were being told to go and we both decided that's where we would hide a cache (with fingers crossed behind our backs, a four leaf clover in our pocket, and a leprechaun on a leash throwing gold) we checked it in hope.
I said to my wife "bugger it, you can't just randomly look anywhere and find cache". And she responded "well that would be a waste of time unless this is it in my hands". I don't know how we got so close but so far away and still came up with the goods. It was time to hit the playground kiddies. tftc

Hi there thefourbees.
We found your cache **"Queen Victoria Walk"** at 9:59:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 20382).
We started the day off by nominating a cache in Rockhampton, and then following a "next closest" route as determined by the GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 5 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Well it may be a Difficulty "2" for some. But invariably I made it a Difficulty "4".
I was in Rockhampton for work and decided to finally tackle this beast in the late afternoon. I enjoyed collecting all the information. I had some issues at a few waypoints, but I sorted it out.
What makes it difficult is the maths. Thank God I take photos. I was able to see where I made the (multiple mistakes)
I finally came up with an area that looked good. Lo and and behold.. and thank the Lord... thar she be! I signed the log and re-hid the beast as found. Nothing like a cover of darkness for signing a log.
A very enjoyable cache in Rocky. TFTC thefourbees

My husband and I have been holidaying in Cairns for the past few weeks and now we are on our way home to Melbourne. Last night we stayed in a nearby caravan park and this morning I suggested that we get some exercise before today's drive and also find this cache. We strolled along the path with me reading out the information and my husband collecting the numbers. Working out the final location I made a mistake with one of the numbers and thought that I was going to have to enter Beef Week across the road. Luckily sense prevailed and I looked around and saw a more suitable location. The log was found, signed and rehidden before we continued our walk back to the caravan park.
Thank you thefourbees and MaMa for this interesting cache.

Up to Rocky for a couple days of work, and on this last day I was awake with the sparrows and nowhere to be till after 8 .... so I hit up the caches around town. Mostly DNFs sadly, but I did manage to finish on a high with a most excellent couple kms stroll along the riverbank here. I used the pad of paper (thanks motel) approach to collecting data, and after a false start on the wrong side of a tunnel (nothing to see here, move along) I was soon in the swing of it.
Some plaques. Some artworks. Eighteen questions ... but pleased that they were well constructed and not ambiguous. And interesting - I enjoyed the reads. I was then finally at the end, and after some math, a correction to an obviously wrong number and off to a likely GZ. Well concealed (only saw the one container) but in the right spot (IMHO). A pleasant end to my Rocky adventure this time.
Thanks for placing this cache, thefourbees (maintenance by MaMa). Found in good condition.

So knocked off work early today so was keen to find this cache in the hours extra I had. It was a very enjoyable walk especially with a lovely breeze taking away some of the heat. Finding the numbers and calculating at the end was straightforward. Very odd there is 2 containers but only one has a log so no problem.
I tried this cache a few years ago but did not allow enough time for the walk. This afternoon after work around 5pm found while dodging all the runners and walkers. Great cache. A favourite point from me. There are two containers at the GZ, but the log in the yellow one is in better shape so I signed that one. TFTC MaMa.
TFTC did someone perhaps loose the first cache container? One was in horrid condition enjoyable walk with Bsmit team
Having finally arrived in the Rockhampton/Yepoon area after our 15000 km trip from Qld to Alice Springs and return to Qld it was time to do some caches. This is such a lovely location and we enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to thefourbees for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Collected the clues after dinner last night.
Most were easy to find and simple to decipher. My calculations did not match my expectations and I got fractions too.
Put it aside and had a good sleep. Redid the calculations with a moree free interpretation of numbers and description and had a look at the alternatives on a map. Opted for the most likely set of numbers. Made a quick find there
Thanks for the walk and cache

Our second cache for the day. no not really but it was the second cache that was planned for today. We did get a little side tracked earlier.
2pm on this hot sunny summer day may not be the best of times to head out and look for this cache.
I parked up and we pilled out. Now where to start. I chose a place that Ratdog didn't like oh well we will go in order. Ok nope don't start at the given starting coordinates as there isn't much to see there and it was really too hot to walk there as well.
Back at the real start we looked past the graffiti to get some answers. This recorded by Bertoady and Ratdog we continued on. OOOOOps. Ratdog was not impressed by my GPSr skills and we missed a few clues and had to double back. a few words were had and much discussions too. Finally some answers were recorded in the right place.
Much whinging from those that usually have hats on was had , it was stinking hot today, no shade on path either, so as we passed the car I grabbed the hats I remembered were hidden inside. With much happier scribes we headed off. backtracking became a thing of the day as I strolled past many clues chatting as you do.
Finally we reached the end area only to find that too was a little trying to get an answer so we thought like the 4B's and came up with an answer. Bertoady grabbed nearby cache as we had already got it last year.
We scared a few locals away from the platform and sat down to decipher our clues.
As you do on a big job like this, much tooing and froooing was had, discussions on what was and what many be was wrong we finally checked with google maps and had a possible 2 GZ's.[^] Now to test out our theories.
Strolling back to the possible areas we pulled one out as a hopefully notes we don't believe we are scary enough to displace that family that was fishing.[:o)] and tried the other area, even though I was getting a 17m reading. Really it was the only possible hide for us.
BULLSEYE. a cache was soon in hand by Bertoady, covered in tiny black ants, I think she was dancing, at least they were not the city ones from earlier in the day, you no the ones with green bums[v].
We signed the dry logbook, replaced as found and patted ourselves on the back. another great day[^].
Fav point from Ratdog and I, this cache was recommended to us last year but we don't often manage to organise time out together, strange as it may seem[B)]. Bertoady thanks for being the umpire today and navigating too. Seems we all navigate in a similar manner
Thanks thefourbees we have had a super day out. one of our last in Rocky for a while. Left a special PT for the next finder too.

Caching with Rainforest Cookie and Bertoady today.
Not a day for walking on a sunny path in the heat of a humid rocky day. But thats how it rolls and we have the day off. Much water was consumed today. I was happy when Mum remembered we did have hats in the car, I still copped a bit of sun but as least I had a bit of shade now.
Nice walk with lots of stops to collect info, some discussion along the way as to possible answers.
We all took the time to appreciate the amount of time it would have taken to set up this puzzle. Thanks because it was well worth it. I did learn something today,( bring a hat while cacheing)
Great to see a well maintained park with so many people putting it to use one way or another.

So after our bull muster and some source we took ourselves for lunch, well not really, we took ourselves to get water! And then suitably fortified we set off to walk like queen Victoria. I was feeling a bit high maintenance by comparison with my caching mates. One was hatless and the other was wearing her flip flops in her back pocket. I am a niche organism. I require a regular source of water and coffee and good shade and footwear if I am to survive. Not what you'd call a hardy specimen at all! Anyhow, RFC has magiced up a hat for me and even found a tamarind for me to nosh on while we rambled about here in no way dissimilar to chooks and chicken out looking for crumbs. First this way, then that, clucking and flapping the whole while. Eventually we managed to locate answers to all the questions, though we had to multiple choice a few as we all have our own way of interpreting things. I nabbed a tree cache on the way - in a fig tree not an Acacia. So after scaring off some competition for a roost, we settled down by the river to sort out our maths. Hmmm. Not as straightforward as it seems. But logic does dictate that the bit that was driving me batty could really only have one of two answers and still be relevant to this cache. Off to our proposed gz(S) and one of them is definitely occupied by a clan of fisher folk who look like they mean to stay. We toy with the idea of drawing straws to see which of us should go skinny dipping like the boy on the last plaque who caused such distress among the dignified dignitaries of Victorian Rockhampton - to scare them off. I'm hoping it's not me that picks it coz I'll fry in seconds today and look just like a huge lobster, which might encourage them to stay rather than go. In the meantime we decide to check the other spot
Thankfully our other choice turns out to hold the cache, so no need for any of us to disrobe. Cache is all well. This is a truly stupendous cache. I'm so glad we did it. It must have been a big effort to put out. We have had a great time here, thankyou! And we are off to look at one last cache today, the infamous Tokelau!

Third try at working this one out. Keeps saying its across or in the river which does not seem right. Starting to think we won't be able to do this one
This one took us three visits to achieve. We were in Rocky a few weeks back and managed to collect a few of the answers in the little time we had. Then, back in town this week we headed out after work and managed to find a few more before we had to 'call it'. Now, finally we were able to finish off the walk and collected all our answers. Did the maths and it looked good. . Made our way to GZ and, as luck would have it, made a quick find. (With so many possibilities we still can't believe our luck.)
We enjoyed our walks along here.
Thanks for this cache and maintenance thefourbees and MaMa.

Dululu to Rocky..
We have set up camp at Gracemere, been to Rocky a few times but still some more caches here to find.
After collecting all the facts it was off to find the cache. We hunted arounfd for some time in the area when eventually we spotted a location that would hide a cache. WOW how pleased we were, its 21mths since this cache has a find.
Favourite point for the location.

Left the caravan at Westwood, and did a day run into Rockhampton.
This took us far longer than it probably should have, we had a little trouble deciding
what was required at one of the questions. We eventually came up with some co-ords,
and were happy to add our name to the log. A well hidden cache, enoyed the stroll.
Many thanks for placing this cache, thefourbees, for us and others to find.

Lucky for me I like to run so much [^] I went without wheels for most of my visit and ran to/through this park several times. Each visit I gathered new or reconfirmed previously found hints. Many trial and error attempts at solving this one, I think in part due to some repositioning of signs. No worries. After all that and some guidance from the CO, I was able to make it the real GZ and found the cache rather quickly. Nice idea for a puzzler and good hide in a nice area. Well done! TFT[?]C!!
I thought I'd check this one out while I was doing checks on some of mine today. The flood water was exteemely close to the hide. I got my feet muddy retrieving it. I thought it best to remove it for the time being, just hopin that it doesn't go missing again. I hope you don't mind fourbees. I will replace the two I have removed as soon as the waters begin to subside.

Cache Raid to Rockhampton with Gunnie69..
Numbers are the name of the game & so we came to partake of the caches in the area
Clue collection had taken a while with this one as we wandered around
initial calcs proved we had something wrong (but not before a wilds goose chase across town)
Re-check - Ahh there was our mistake
Looking better
Arriving at GZ I soon spotted the container

While in town in between the events this weekend we found time to head down to this area and go for a stroll collecting the required info. What a stroll indeed with all those WP’s to stop at. We saw a lot of interesting things on our way so we happily enjoyed the work required for the finals.
With all the info gathered and a bit of calculation done we had our GZ and made our way there.
Arrived and saw the spot, it was just getting on dark so before grabbing the container I quickly returned to the Bedmobile to get a light to shine in there in case some other resident was home.
With the cache safely out we added our names to the rest.
Great little spot and a really enjoyable cache,

Well, this one took a little while to gather all the clues but it was a pleasant walk on a hottish day... At the end though, Kaisho53 and I had plugged a wrong number in somewhere and ended up with a GZ a fair way off where the final ended up... On double checking, we noticed where we had gone wrong and sorted the coords out. Not before heading off to the other side of town first though, in search of the cache...
Back on track, the location looked much better this time and on arrival, the container was spotted nice and quickly by Kaisho53. A couple of angling teens down on the water glanced over occasionally while we were at GZ, but they were not worried about whet we were up to... [^]
Log signed and all done, the container was dropped back and we shot through.
Cheers 4Bs.

MrMeccano wandered along and collected all the information required, though we did have to backtrack a few times. Quite a nice collection of things to collect info off. We did not quite figure out what was meant for waypoint 3, but it didn't really matter in the end.
The area near GZ was fairly busy but ti was placed for a quick find and out of view retrieval.
Enjoyable walk!

This would be better done in the daytime but I had a previous finder with me if I was having trouble. Cache was found safe and well. Thanks thefourbees.
I thoroughly enjoyed my exploration of the riverbank side of this park, and I think they did an excellent job of it; not only the sports facilities, which were all in use this afternoon, but also the information snippets and the artwork. And the cache was also very well thought out, though certainly one of the longer urban caches I've done! I was disappointed not to see any crocodiles, though I drew the line at jumping in the water, and pleasantly surprised at how few fishermen were around to disturb my collection of clues. I managed to get the right coordinates first time around, and after a short detour near GZ, I approached cautiously and soon spotted a likely location. Sure enough, a little cache was quickly visible and I had that logbook in my hand in no time. Nearly threw it far into dangerous territory when a noticed a spider crawling toward my hand, though! We both survived, cache was replaced none the worse for wear, and I challenged myself by trying to recall details of each waypoint from afar as I walked back to the car. TFTC, thefourbees. =^.^=
1261. Finally Yay !!! Third time here looking for the final, a email to a local 6 months ago after last visit up here to confirm we were looking in the correct area kept us looking and then I located it. Signed log and replaced.

Went back again today and checked my answers. Recalculated my answers and got the same location. I am at a loss. Could not find cache.
Took a nice stroll along the riverfront on a VERY hot October day, collecting the clues and let DD calculate the WP. Found without too much trouble.

Oh, yes yes yes. (Shades of When Harry met Sally). We walked along looking for the answers and thinking that this may well end like 'What a Lot of Bulls'. Got to the penultimate waypoint and thought "here we go again". But no. Did the calculations which led us into the middle of an oval. Oh No. Checked the calculations and, sure enough, it was a clerical error. Phew. Followed the new co-ords straight to GZ. Fantastic. TNLN TFTC (and it's given us a bit of a heads up for the Bulls).
We went to check the cache on saturday and it had gone, maybe floated off in the floods from January.
New cache in place just in case anyone decides to go for a long walk with Queen Victoria.

It wasn't missing but it now has a new log book thanks to mama and the younger bees.
Corrected my maths error and cache was soon in hand. A very enjoyable and informative cache. There was a fair bit of work went into preparing this one.
Unfortunately the log book is saturated, although I don't know how, and I did not have a replacement one with me.

One thoroughly enjoyed the Queen Victoria Walk by the river this morning [^]
The trail of waypoints and list of clues looked a bit daunting at first.
But after struggling at the first waypoint one soon got into the groove.
With such short distances between stops one became lost in the chase and didn't notice the time (or river) drifting by
After a relaxing hour one arrived at the seat by the final waypoint and set about working out the place of the cache.
Yeah!! It's in the river .......Oh!! That can't be right
Some hasty reviewing of the notes and one realised one's blunder.
One soon had the cache in paw and left one's seal on the logbook

I was out putting out a new cache so I thought I get this cache. I've had the coordinates for a while now. When I first did this cache I wrote down a wrong answer. When I fixed it up and went back muggles everywhere. This time it was 11pm so no muggles around and found the cache easy. Bloody hell this park is lit up at night. You could take your kids down there day or night.

What a lot of effort you went to to set up this Cache. Great walk complete with dog, grandma and family. GPS jumped round a bit at the end, but found without too buch diffciulty. A really enjoyable morning out. Thanks.
Another great place for a walk. Who would have thought fun could be exercise and educational !! TNLN. Thanks for a good morning out. Wobbly45 & kids & a friend
A fun cache and a great day for a walk. Didn't know this place existed - will have to come back to have a go on the flying fox and skate board thing when all the kids have gone thx for teaching us a bit more about Rockhampton!
Excelentway of showing people a pice of local knowledge, would never have found all this without a cache TFTC
# FTF Woo Hoo !! 7.30 AM. You Rocky cachers will have to get up Earlier. Takes me 35 Mins to drive there. Guess being retired has some advantages though.
Another great effort by the fourbees. Thanks for the interesting walk. I've learned a lot about Rocky in the last 2 days doing your new multi caches. Spotted the GC in the cache but thought I'd leave it for next cacher. TNLN TFTC
