Time to let this one go. If it was still there prior to the floods, it would have gone under and be washed away. Unfortunately I don't get up to Rocky as much these days, so time to say goodbye.

a quick trip down to Rocky and a planned visit with Temingi
a day trip with company, doing some maintenance ... and grabbing a few caches along the way
well we had a bit of time
so decided to have a look at a few around Rocky
... I have had a few attempts at this one over the years
with the same result ... it is becoming my nemesis ...
I had even brought a previous finder along with me to aid in my search
not that that helped either ...
read the logs damn ... but we looked a bit more anyway
OK - time to call it off and go and get a find somewhere else
in the meantime - guess I'll just keep watching

Had a fairly thorough check of the areas closest to our GPS's GZ but couldn't find a cache. A car that came over the bridge while we were there stopped on its return and asked if we were checking out the area to fish. Told him we were looking for crocs. Now that was a croc of s*#t!!!!
Thanks.
Thanks.
Well i wondered out to thigh height but no further after reading previous logs. Not having a change of clothes and being on a long drive I've decided this is definitely a cache for you on your next visit fearless genghicat. Lol
Made friends with the fishermen who agreed to keep our geocaching secret. Overestimated the difficulty and monkeyed around for a while before locating the cache. The glue has come off the magnet but still functional. Tftc
Tftc. I'd just finished saying to my sister "imagine if someone put a spider in it!" And she opened it and there was a huge fake ant inside. We nearly threw it out the window
Had to make a trip into Rocky so we decided to go for this one while there.
we struggled a little with the find and had to move off for a car that just turned around and headed back[:0], a few fishermen were around but just looked at us and wondered. saw a few fish too but no crocs.
log signed we headed for home again.
Thanks for the cache Bundy

First foreign log for me! Learner in our group found it, to our delight. We weren't tempted to drop it where we shouldn't and found it was straightforward to deal with. No muggles in sight on this clear, 30C day, but the crows kept their eyes on the proceedings. The whole experience resulted in another family joining geocaching. Mum signed up within 24 hours of our expedition! TFTC
Found with Tassiegirl13.
This was an interesting old bridge in an out of the way area.
We spent a little time here but didn't spot any crocs.
The cache was all good.

Cool old bridge. We've been a couple of times to attempt this cache but there has always been fishing muggles about. Not today though. Quick find by 'D' SL TNLN TFTC
There was a stream of traffic when I arrived near GZ and I thought this one was going to be a bit of a challenge to get to without looking out of place... Fortunately, the peak minute ended and once the coast was clear, there was no traffic for miles... Handy...
Out of the car and over to the right spot, the container was quickly in hand and my name was added to the log. All done, I strolled back to GZ to drop it back in place.... [^]
Cheers Bundyrumandcoke.

Oh my goodness talk about cache-blindness! Finally can log a find after three attempts. Feeling pretty silly now. Thanks for the cache, love this old bridge for some reason.
Thought I better find one for the fifteenth anniversary of geocaching! Tftc tnln
quick overnight trip to Rocky
but a bit of time to try and scratch some DNF's
Ok got the right info today
correct co-ords, new log info ... but
this one stays on the list
had a bit of a look but walked away with naught
... for the moment
must be cache blind and weary

TFTC! Spent ages looking, when it was in such a simple place that I just overlooked!
I didn't see any signs of crocs but was extra careful not to drop the cache! Great area and no-one around while I searched.

An early morning ride while down for work to grab this one. A bit of fog around and two muggle cars driving over the bridge while looking. Thanks for the cache.
An unscheduled trip to Rockhampton
so a couple of days to plan and do some homework on a few Rocky caches
that I have driven past previously, and unattempted due to a lack of research.
OK - this one I had just driven past.
A couple of hours to kill, time to grab some caches.
Got out to GZ, been out here before, a long time ago.
Then looked at the GZ I had listed ... [?]
The co-ords had me out of the structure
looked at the last few logs [?]
I some how must have been referencing an old pocket query.
The last lot of logs where DNF's
and I didn't have the updated co-ords supplied by the CO
so I didn't spend too much time looking.
Now I can see the errors of my ways,
I will have to come back and have a look (with the right info),
next time I visit or drive past
cheers Bundy

Noticed a new "Beware of Croc" sign nearby today. Noticed some definite croc prints a few months back. Had the bike ready for a quick getaway. Fair bit of traffic on the bridge today so had to wait to put the cache back in place.
Cache replaced, I cant find the old one. Retook the coordinates. Try S23 23.921 E150 31.933. Will do a coordinate update when I get back to my computer. Cheers. Bundy

Yep, it should be roughly in the middle of the bridge, on the upstream side of the creek. I will check this one when next I am in Rocky.
Couldn't find it!! GPS took me about 15 meters off the bridge, couldn't find anything there? Checked the bridge as that's where i thought the clues lead to but no luck there either!
No luck - GZ was way off the bridge where I parked. Will need to go back and spend some more time on the bridge.
No luck. My GPSr took me to a likely place off the bridge but the hint made me think i was around 15m+ wrong. Cool bridge nonetheless.
Co-ordinates were spot on but not sure if the hint referrs to the present position of the hide.
Thanks Bundy

Thanks for the find. My kid loved this one. Took a few goes at this one lots of people continuously in this area.
Mick and Kazs log sent alarm bells through my head. Hints added to hopefully remove any doubt as to where to look. No need to look in the bridge surrounds.

DNF to many needles around the area so would not put my hands in the spot GPS had me looking.
We were not sure what to expect at this one but good coords made this a relatively quick find. Cache in muddy with lots of ants over it but the contents are in good condition.
Thanks to Bundyrumandcoke.

Had to move up to the end of the road and have lunch by the river whilst a pair of locals were hooning on a mini bike up and down the road past gz. As soon as they departed I pounced and soon found the hide. Thanks Bundyrumandcoke

Would never have come to this location if not for the cache. An easy find just where we expected it to be.
A great old bridge doesn't look if it has much traffic over it now.

A few muggles were hanging around... Looked and looked but couldn't find it. Will need to go back when there are no muggles around...
Easy find on a Cacheing run to Rocky, The water is rising here though I don't know if this Cache is going to stay dry. They are predicting flooding to 8 metres, will it get this high??
Nice easy find while out Geocaching with Geo Dad (Tui65) It was good to see how they built bridges to last the test of time in the old days.

Nearly got lost looking for the correct road to the bridge as it was getting dark. Cache in good condition. TN left a Blue Mountains coin. This is the 3rd for today and possibly my last Rockhampton cache. Thanks Bundy.
Looking for another cache, put the wrong coordinates & ended up finding this one! Took the ring and left the marble. TFTC
very easy find as another one was hidden similar, good to see different parts of the region though, thanks bundy. tnln
Pray, why is there some muggle parked right at GZ of this one sorting out his kids' "toilet training". Of all the places
I just played the waiting game at the other end of the bridge. Finally he made off, and I drove up to GZ. I was prepared for a long search - but thankfully this one came to hand relativley quickly. It is in good condition. That certainly is an old and industrial-esque looking bridge. TFTC Bundyrumandcoke

Searched high and low but no find ... tried to pat some cows but no luck with that... Will re-try again soon .... Maybe an little extra hint ?!? hehe
Yay another down. Not difficult but a good hiding spot. Took me a little while even though the co-ordinates were spot on. (about 10 minutes).

Found on a quick trip around town this afternoon. I was expecting it to be a bit tougher & was very surprised to find where it was, and very happy too. This was the last of the day and probably the last one in Rocky too.

Hi there Bundy
I should have wrote this ages ago, but I managed to look for this about a month ago and it is definitely gone. I figured it would have a hard time as I was driving an SES floodboat over it for weeks, I was using the sail boat as a nav marker!!! The actual fishing boat that was anchored there was parked right on top of the bridge, I have some great photos of this bridge(or not actually because it was totally underwater) If I can, I will upload some
Cheers

Still unable to access this one to check, but I am certain it has been washed away during the Rocky floods. I did glimpse the bridge yesterday, with flood debris all over it, and 2 large boats washed up in the surrounding paddock. To be replaced when circumstances permit.

Found on the way home after the 10/10/10+10 event at Yeppoon. A couple of cars squeezed past me while I was at GZ - me looking very interestedly at the water as a (poor) subterfuge to hide my geocaching search. I found the cache and had just replaced it when a car with a NSW number plate towing a caravan came around the corner!! "Now what should I do?", I asked myself. The caravan would have squeezed me into the water!
Luckily it stopped short of the bridge and a guy jumped out (no one else in his car) and walked past me as I returned to my car, saying he was checking out fishing spots. He stole my subterfuge!!! I considered asking him if he was a geocacher but opted against it as then I would have to explain it etc etc. TFTC Bundyrum&coke

After a great drive and finding parts of the town I did not know about, some of the local lads were fishing right from ground zero so I had to keep going....next time
Another for the day. I havt to say the hint from previous cacher was a help. We looked for a while before going back to the correct spot. TFTC a great old bridge. TNLN
Nine months ago I visited this marvellous old bridge but ran out of daylight. I told myself next time I had time to spare while in Rockhampton, I would find the cache. A nine month time span that included a move from Gladstone to Mirani found me back in Rocky and visiting the bridge. This time, I found the cache easily. The GZ co-ords were spot on. Bundy's other bridge cache in Gladstone is much harder than this one. Thanks Bundy Rum and Coke for placing this cache.
After 4 attempts and a small hint from CO, I finally found it today. I was in the ballbark before but had no real idea of what I was looking for.
