Hi Scott and Kathryn,

Sadly I didnt read the logs before travelling off my track to search for this. There is a lot of interesteing history about this location and it would be a shame to lose it, if the cache is archived. Looking at the history of Just Friends other caches I not to optimistic about it being maintained but hopefully I am very wrong and it will get fixed up. Alternatively, maybe there is a local geocacher who could adopt this cache and all it's local history.
Team Gramon on 2nd attempt still had no luck, cache site is a mess with fallen branches, suggest a new site or a clean up and new coordinates that are more accurate
Searched for a while with no luck, CO may want to come and check it.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
The GPS puts the location across the fence??? But is it under the large branch and innumerable twigs which headed earthward earlier this year....perhaps maintenance required.
GPS indicate GZ on the other side of the fence. Also had a long look around with no joy. There is a large branch that has fallen.
Would recommend that 'Just Friends' checks this one out for us. Will place on my watch list as I pass by reguarly on my commute between Mt Evelyn and Tatura.
Cheers,
Ric

I had an exstensive search, but I couldn't find anything. A large branch has fallen off the tree. Could it have been under there? I have a photo if you want to contact me.
Found @ 8:57am. Co-ords had us a little out, and was about to give up when we stumbled across it.

Heading north for a days work. A quick stop and an easy find after not having the time/patience to look for a more difficult cache in Nagambie. Had to log at least one today!
GPS had me confused for abit. As it was putting me the other side of an elec fence.
But all good. Found it.

This one had me going for a while until Mrs Midaho came up trumps. T4TC.

Another stifling hot day, and we caching idiots are out in the heat again. I have no idea why we do it, but we just keep on hunting for one more...and one more... and so on.
This one took a little finding, as it seems to have become a bit buried, over time.
Thanks, scott&nat!

Thanks, scott&nat!
Found with Just a cacher after a trip to Ballarat to see some friends for New Years. A quick grab in the heat after emulating a chook.
Surprisingly not much traffic on the roads today, perhaps the heat is keeping them in the cool.
Thanks for the cache scott&nat

Found today with steph95 and friend at 10:30am. On the way to Shepparton, then on to Elmore for the field day. After sending steph95 and friend off to grab the cache while I sat in the car to no result, I jumpped out and with a little scratching around cache was soon found and logged. It was then on our way, Thanks Scott&Nat.
Driving back to Nagambie. Popped in for this cache. No trucks being a Saturday. Easy find thanks
thanks scott & natt, we regularly stop hear for a break on our way to and from Mornington, great spot for a cache
An initial search was performed, with no results. A bit of a fresher mind after some lunch nearby came up trumps. Thanks scott&nat SL

Not exactly where we thought it would be, but nearby. After a few minutes we rustled it up. Thanks for the cache.
This was the prefect place to fill up on petrol, get a pie for lunch and stretch the legs. AND.. a nice man asked us if Geo Dog was a show dog.. (we thought this was funny- cause he ain't No show dog!) but Geo Dog felt very chuffed with that comment! A quick find and sign.. Thanks heaps

Nice quick find after a quick toilet break on the way up to Tocumwal tftc tnln
Well, an extensive search and we came up with nothing! We looked in vain for the Greyhound bus, hoping we could get a few more clues, but nooooo..... anyway, we'll watch this one and see if we missed something obvious and we'll pick it up next time going through!
Found this one travelling up the Hwy with Feathertop. Quick toilet, coffee and cache stop!
Dropped in here for a coffee on the way north.
The cache was easily found after parking nearby in dodgy weather conditions.
Rather relieved to get this one without getting wet or dirty as I was in my work clothes.
Nice to read of the history of this place too.

Found this one on the way back to Melbourne with Team BAPHA. Took a few minutes searching but once we were brave enough to get past the great piles of caterpillars, it was a easy find in the end. TFTC!
Team BAPHA found this on their way back to Melbourne from Wunghnu. Was near a pile of disgusting spitfires, but we found a ten-dollar bill as a nice bonus, too!
Quick and easy find this morning, thankfully as it was quite brisk this morning.
Thanks for the cache Scott&Nat

Picked this one up today on the way back from Shepp to Melb. Part of the Daunts team actually lived for a while in the original Wahring Pub, but after it had been turned into a private residence, and before it burned down. The current establishment bears absolutely no relationship to the original establishment.

Found by Mary & David at 1330. Love cache notes with so much information. You can sit here and imagine the Cobb & Co travellers back then with the same needs as today's travellers. Picked up 'Opener Dog Tag 5' TB, dropped off 'Varuna Generic Geocoin 2006'. Our thanks to Scott&Nat.
Was in Nagambie for work and passed this one on the way home. Found time to grab a coffee and a cache so it was a pleasant stop.
Thanks indeed for the information and the break.

We were on our way to Echuca for the weekend event and we had time for the odd cache that
we passed to break the journey. No the cache was not odd, but at times i am and this was more of
an expression the referred to stopping for any caches along the way.
The cache was found easily and I was interested in the history, pity the pub was not still here now.
Many thanks to Scott&Nat for the cache.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "late to log but never forgotten" Coffee Clan.

We found this cache at 11:40am as the 2nd of 12 on our Route to Shepparton trip. A quick divert in for this cache. "A" made the find once more. Thanks from D, HA, H and A B-A.
Found on the way back from OzMega. We managed to park about 20 metres away for a quick find.
Thanks Scott&Nat. Interesting bit of history.

I stop here fairly regularly for fuel, as I was about to drive off I noticed a cache marker on oziexplorer. I parked and retrieved the cache making the approprite notation in the log, then it was on with the journey, heading to Corowa. Thanks for the cache

On the way to Shepp for work, stopped to adjust the GPS and have a bag of chips. This cache marks our 700th GC milestone. Our thanks to Scott&Nat. Cache was a little exposed - I covered it up a bit better.

Micheena - found on way home from skiing event in Nagambie. Thanks for an easy find for the start of a new year.
Found at 11:55. CrackerDad remembers having a few meals here in his interstate truck driving days. He also remembers the difficulty that the south bound trucks had trying to get in here when they were doing the duplication works. This is the first time we have visited this reincarnation of the roadhouse and it doesn't have quite the same atmosphere as the previous one.

#69 Thanks for the excuse to stop and stretch the legs on a beautiful day. TNLN SL
This one took all of five seconds to find, which was nice! The surrounding area must have been a bit more attractive before this massive place was built. I suppose it's a necessary evil. Thanks for the cache and the excuse to stretch my legs.

Not too long after dark on our way back to Echuca via the Hume and GV freeways to find a couple of caches.
Stopped at this cache because the Wenchette was grumpy about me not stopping at the golden arches back near Seymour. Killed to birds with one stone - cache and coffee (Sorry Mr Coffee {:D})
Easy find even htough the security cameras probably watched us walking off in to the wide black yonder.
No swaps.
Thanks Scot&Nat.

Found at 1300. Was in Shepp today and had some time spare so I went for a quick drive out to grab this one. Stopped in to grab a bite to eat before wandering over to grab the cache. This place always brings back memories of my football days playing for Murch, and we used to do midnight runs out here after games. I'll never forget the night when five of us did a run out here to grab something to eat because everything else in Murch was shut, when we bumped into three dancers from Rawride going back to Melbourne......if only we had more money.
Thanks Scott&Nat.
Thanks Scott&Nat.
Stopped in and got a coffee first (which was lovely). When I got back out to find the cache the GPS had lost all the sats and took ages to find them again. While it searched the skies I decided to search in a likely place and there it was!
