Tried this one one on a dark & stormy night, with no luck.
No problems in daylight,

Contractor was none to pleased with my presence but managed to retrieve and return cache without him spying on me. TFTC.
Didn’t expect this still to be found as the bridge now leads to logging operations. Fortunately no-one was on site today.
DNA today.
Lots of storm debris. Tall pine trees fallen (and some chopped into logs)
Power linemen parked at GZ, and up above fixing the line.
Thought best not to search here - they may think we are lurking around their trucks too much.
Storm damage very evident up this valley today.

Yay- found it even though my iPhone didn't have reception past the end of the tarseal.
The cache itself scared the living daylights out of me- it was alive!
I bravely swapped a yellow jandal for a spinning top.
The log book was damp so didn't sign it.

Nice little hide, our 19th of the day. Left a swappable toy which might give the next person a surprise. TFTC.
A final cache for the day on the way home. Our minds turning to thoughts of a nice hot coffee rather than caching The road up beyond this cache is in very bad repair after a slip where a LOT of water has come down and very soon it looks like the road may slip away!! Tftc
Interesting trip after retrieving the cache up the road to turn round hmmm think Stretch0 enjoyed the 4wd !!! thanks for the cache up a road we havent been before took nothing left nothing signed log
Very cool! Enjoyed this find thanks. 2 muggles on horses, so some sneaky moves needed.
never been up this road before. Very quiet and good hint made for cache soon in hand.

Nice little drive up the valley. Not the major old bridge I was expecting, but good fun. Liked the old riveted pipe under the bridge. SL TFTC
the road was being used as a work bench for a new fence, so had to wait untill all the goods were moved before driving to a quick find. Thanks
3228. A quick find as we drove up another familiar road. The cache contents are quite smelly and mouldy.
Thanks

The Number 8 SoBad find for the day. Plus 2 or 3 other not SoBad experiences. Thanks for a not SoBad - - in fact a great day caching!!! SY!
Hmmm another spot I have been to caching before, I wounder were the culvert pipe came from,
Many Thanks Bitsprayer

A spot I well remember. Firstly for the cache I didn't find here, and secondly for the interesting discussion with the crazy lady who lives at the end of this road who was claiming it was her own private road.
Interesting to see the old steam boilers used to bridge the stream under the road - I did a very detailed examination of them on my last visit
TFTC, great theme.

Good find on an afternoon drive very peaceful, as like a few others was a familar spot we have been bought to before.

I don't really know quite what to say. It wasn't what I expected but TFTC and quick detour (647) -TB
A quick find and I am not sure if I picked up a TB here. Will have to check my list.
A small detour and this cache was quickly found. A pleasant change after the last two this morning. TFTC
never been up this valley saw lady walking along the road. we drove to the gate and when we went back she had gone. found straight away beautiful area TFTC
Beautiful morning for a drive along the waterfront and up this valley. Quick find at GZ. More practical than the Auckland Harbour Bridge as you can walk across it! + / - TB (although the TB I took doesn't seem to have been logged here? TFTC, Biggles.
Familiar place! Phew - much easier to find than that last NASTY one I still managed to check all the non-obvious places first by following the geotrails, but that only set me back a minute. TFTC.
Nice One!!!!!!! Quick and easy find in familiar territory. Like the Belts, I was was thinking, "I hope it isn't." Thankfully, it wasn't. Like the cache concept and theme. Great fun. Thanks
Mr KE found this one with his Dad. There was only one logical place to look for a cache around here with this D/T rating and so I put my hand straight on it in the first spot checked.. The KE team actually enjoyed the other cache that used to be near here even though it took us just a "little" bit longer to find (ok make that "much" longer). TFTC.
This cache was a lot easier to find than its predecessor, luckily Kiwi-nomad appeared and helped me on that occasion. Added a geocoin and took a photo. Cheers.
Hey not fair - when did this cache come out??? - Mr KE is starting to wonder if Mr beltfamily has finally managed to hack into the GC.com system and turn off Mr KE's new cache notification emails. If he has succeeded then perhaps he also turned his own off by mistake.
FTF (10.00am). I thought this might have been a Bridge Too Far, but everyone else must have been busy- or it could have been that the pouring rain was putting them off! Not sure why the structure at gz even exists- seems slightly unnecessary...
