Thank you to all who have enjoyed finding 'Docking at the Jetty' in Terranora Inlet, Tweed Heads and to the wonderful comments and photos that have been posted over time.
Regular high tides and frequent muggle curiosity has made it a high maintenance cache. Congratulations to 'Angel Dust' who were the 'first to find' in March 2009.
As it is now approaching its 10 year anniversary it is time to 'thank this cache for its service' and allow it to be archived.

Did not find this cache only some velcro maybe the owner needs to take a look at it
Pretty area though.#dnf

I was hoping for a clean sweep of the waterfront today, but had to abort the search here with a muggle fishing right at gz, and the cache nowhere in sight as we stealthily hunted. Maybe next time. Tfth Undercover Duo.
I was staying with a friend nearby and as I headed off this morning I thought I'd grab this cache. I searched a few spots, then had a read of the Description which recentred me a little but still no find. A call to the friend gave some help, but after a further search I discovered a piece of velcro with nothing attached I think the CO needs to check on this one.
Looked under the jetty and pulled out plastic bags and gross rubbish on the tops of the pylons no luck
Tftc- be careful when you grab this- we had to go fishing after knocking it in the water!
We had a DNF in February when this cache was MIA. Came back after we saw that it had been repaired by CO. Found after a thorough search. Nice cache and we hold our breath for its longevity. No shaky hands! TFTC Undercover Duo
Had a chuckle when I found this one and could not work out why it hasn't
had a swim yet ( or maybe it has).

Cool hide thankyou. All good but I'm scared though that someone might knock it into the water..
Was out and about in Tweed Heads today on a day trip from Brisbane and thought of finding this cache . I parked as close as I could to GZ and walked over. After 10 minutes the cache was soon found . Thanks for the cache joojoo57 . TFTC!!!
Just disabling this cache for a few days to determine the cause of the DNF's.
Will have it sorted soon.

For some reason this eluded us! Perhaps we had cache blindness from the 35 degree heat or it was hiding in the shade.
#4493. I am visiting Australia and flew over here from New Zealand last week to attend a workshop in Brisbane. Now that the meeting is finished I have three days to sightsee and do some geocaching. After picking up caches in Brisbane I came south to spend two nights at Tweed Heads. Last day of geocaching before flying home. Another lovely sunny day in Aussie. Surprisingly quick find here. Different type of cache container. Small but effective. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks for the cache undercover duo.
Note Wellington NZ is hosting the "Wellington Geocaching Event 2018" on 21-22 October 2018. Hope to see some Australian cachers over there and give it a chance to become a Mega.

Thursday 17 August 2017 - a very warm glorious sunny Winter's morning in the high teens setting out from Southport at 6.30am as MuggleDaughter works in Coolangatta today and home again by 1.30pm. Found 7 from 7 caches starting firstly with a trad up on the hill in Cooly and then found the other 6 in Tweed Heads area.
A tricky hide but nevertheless in plain sight and well camouflaged. I understand why the previous cacher couldn't find it. I was fortunate that my GPS was spot on today otherwise I could have been looking a long time. I started looking under but it's not necessary. TFTC Undercover_Duo.

Awesome idea! Second time looking. Didn't find it the other day and then found it tonight.
After reading all the comments and the hint I can say I'm 98% sure that it has been taken or is at least missing from its spot
Found quickly without a muggle in sight
Paper very wet but I still signed
Thanks for the cache

I turned up here today to find a couple of muggles fishing next to the jetty. I just had a quick general look around thinking I'd come back another time...then they packed up and left. Maybe the fishing wasn't good today.
After a quick search I had the cleverly camouflaged cache in my hands.
By the way the camo isn't sticking onto the cache lid any more - could do with a little maintenance.
TFTC!

FINALLY got it. Have been watching this since July, waiting for a "mugglefree" window.TFTC:-)
The cache has now been replaced in what will hopefully be a tide-proof and more muggle-proof camouflage-but easy for a cacher to spot!
Enjoy

A quick check while out boating revealed that the cache had disappeared again. We've temporarily disabled it until we design and build a more sturdy, tide-proof cache. Watch this space. It will be ready to find again in the near future.

Very early morning start to beat the fishing muggers where a nice quick find was had. Totally enjoyed the beaut views from this peaceful location. Thanks for bringing this back on line undercover duo and TFTC
A new cache has been placed in its hiding spot. To do this with stealth was more difficult than you would think due to the high number of fisher-muggles enjoying the outdoors. However, armed with a fishing rod and casting a few lures as cover, the cache was able to be replaced undetected.
A Travel Sea Turtle TB also made a visit on its journey back to Sebastian Inlet, Florida USA.

Not sure where to look. Too many muggles casting to widen the search. Don't want to be hit by their rods.
Thanks for taking us here.
Thanks for taking us here.
The cache has been replaced and is ready to find. It's hiding place is fairly obvious, so please let us know if time or tide has resulted in the cache being separated from its hanger, and we can replace it.
Take the time to enjoy the ambience of the location, and happy caching.

The geowife and I had a thorough search and came up empty. Might be worth the CO checking on this one.
I had seen this one months ago, b4 I knew of geocaching. I've been back a few times recently & had a good look in case location has changed a bit. As its z small area & a 1.5, I think it smuggled again

Rocked up here with a previous finder. We located the tether but no sign of the cache.
I spent a while on the jetty looking for this in what I hoped was a stealthy manner. There was a fisherman here but he was on the other side of the jetty and paid no attention to me. However there was a man on a nearby bench who was intently watching the fisherman & me so I couldn't really have a thorough look. So I left with a DNF.
Nice fun find however hook broke off in my haste to retrieve sorry. So used to these being magnetic. Have placed it safely near the caches proper location (about 40cm away).
I found this years ago and didn't know what it was!! Fascinating!! I signed it anyway HAHAHA Lovely little spot, I used to live at the river retreat caravan park, friendly folk. Have some fresh fish at the shop behind you and enjoy the river!
Found it! With Pandy the dog and Boyfriend Luke! Might have them hooked! TFTC!
There were muggles everywhere here but we thought we might be stealthy enough to grab this one. After all I had seen my GeoUncle's stealth in action many a time, and GeoSister is young enough to let us blend in anywhere.
We went to the right side and looked around, then we spotted it.
We walked over and stealthily retrieved it but to our surprise this container was in need of maintenance.
We tried to get the log out to sign but it was not possible without ruining the paper.
I've taken some photo proof if needed as I didn't have paper on me (Please let me know).

Lovely fishing family graciously ignored me whilst I did some "fishing" of my own! Found it after a few minutes. Cool container
Found it nice and quick for first geo. however paper was soggy and unable to write on it container rusty and hard to open
About to give up but decided to give it another look over after sitting down I found it!
Pretty good camouflage but spotted it after probably looking directly at it a few times.

It has been too wet for a ride in the forest today, so I decided to head this way and hunt some urban caches instead. I chose a central parking spot and headed off on the geocycle to hunt for some smilies.
I was surprised to have this spot to myself at 9am. It made it easy to hunt. A big family group arrived just after I had replaced the container.

Second go at this one. Had to pretend I was just taking photos the first time due to local fishermen.
We shared our experience with a family fishing on NYE 2015. I think they'll try it now
Located the cache and nearly dropped my glasses into the river
