Passing through the area on a wet winters day collecting a couple of smileys on the way. TNLNSL. Thanks @WanderingAus for placing WanAus 97 - Richard Guelfi Reserve for the GC community to find !!
Thanks, not too hard to find. As long as you look in lots of places. Fun. Very well camouflaged.
My family and I were walking around the area and we decided to do some geocaching
TFTC! Great spot and cool texture on the container! Found packed full with tradables and swapped one out! Nice to see such an old listing still here!!! Loved it. Bad headache so cant write much.TFTC, WanAus NoahColl08 ()
Trobat! Encontrado!A little walk around this rea. I has enough time for do some caches. Here I drop a TB straight from Spain. Good Travel!Good hide and way to camouflagued. Gracias.
First find!!! This is a very fun and exciting activity, I will be doing this again many times!
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and found the container contents damp, with only the piece of paper left by GeorgeOfTheNile_CNH dry. I dried out the container, and replaced the missing or unuseable contents, including log book, 1 pencil, Finders Cards, and a few swaps.
Cool hide, unfortunately log is saturated, have added a new RITR log sheet in a ziplock bag to help, watch out for thorns when retrieving the stick! TFTC
*** the cache was lying on-top of some low shrub .. have messaged CO re this and have sent snaps .. But I’m .. and remember 4 lines .. use one so we don’t have 20 names on 40 sheets of paper Out and about with Mr CONVERTING greens to yellow .. weather is beautiful love that grey sky ️ TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, found the cache in plain view about 275mm inside the fence-line. Sadly it was about 150mm to the right of the line of the post, making it difficult for visually challenged cachers to find - my eyes are only 72.7 years old, so I had no problem finding the DRAB CAMO'ED container.
I replaced the broken retrieval stick with a newer and longer stick and returned the cache under the vegetation to the left of the line of the post.

Can’t see anything left of left. Last post said retrieval stick is broken; unsure if resolved or not…
I initially got spiked by the very sharp leaves at GZ, but it serves me right for getting stuck into it things without first reading the description!
After getting my affairs in order, the cache was found in brand new neat and tidy condition.

Good to go in a new position.

This has been moved to a location within 161 metres of a physical waypoint of GC6KNMJ Balcatta Bushland.
Therefore it has been disabled and will need to be relocated to an available location.
Cheers,
Geoff

WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and did a thorough recce, checking out possible new hiding spots. I even had equipment with me to hide the cache on the other side of the fence, with a retrieval wire or stick, but thankfully I didn't have to go to that extreme.
I replaced the cache in a nearby larger multi-trunk clump of trees, on the South side of the playing area, which provides no shade at all for spectators and is therefore less likely to be muggled. The cache is within the clump, covered with rotten wood and bark litter.
The cache is now a drab camo'd 65mm Diam x 165mm High plastic screw-top container with a log, a pen, 2 pencils, a sharpener, Finders Cards, and a few swaps.
If you can see the gate through the tree it's down to your right. Please be sure to hide it as found, and try not to let the wood and bark litter fall into the space - you'll need some to put on top.

The small clump of trees which was home to the cache since the fence went around the original location seemed to be frequently visited by muggles, being a shady tree close to the playing area and on the East side, which provides shade until about midday.
The new location is in a much larger multi-trunk clump of trees, only a little further from the playing area, but being on the South side provides no shade at all for spectators. While being closer to one of the pedestrian access gates, it was easy to conceal by removing rotten wood litter from a fairly deep narrow cavity, and placing some of the wood litter on top to hide it.

Good to go in a new spot, replaced only one year and sixteen days since the last time I replaced it. Hopefully it will last longer than nine months this time.
I am on a trip to the South-West and Great Southern Regions, maintaining caches in Narrogin, Katanning, Greenbushes, Manjimup, Blackwood River near Boyup Brook, and Kojonup.
I will be back in the Metro area on 23 March for medical appointments.
I will maintain this cache FOR THE NINTH TIME on Friday 26 Mar 21.

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Found the tree and looked under the pile of leaves and twigs but couldn’t see anything, assumed someone found it and took it with them.
I couldn't find it base of the tree 8s covered with ants like I mean infested so could look around
TFTC! This was my first ever find. Took a piece of rubbish, left a glass stone.
Perfect find after a play on the oval in these days of isolation. A bit of fun for the kids today
Nice quick find here as I think the wind had blown it out into the open. Have replaced and covered it again. TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and replaced the container with a drab camouflaged 95mm x 73mm round screw-top container covered with sticks, bark and leaf litter. Contents are log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, and sharpener. Please be sure to seal the zip-lock bag and screw the lid on tight, and cover it well with the available litter - you can also gather extra branches and leaf litter from the nearby fence edge.
Yeah! Another find. Great directions, however in need of more paper to log and it was soaked.
Easy find on a Friday arvo.
I’d read previous logs stating the log was wrecked so took a small piece of paper with me to replace. Log and finders cards are completely ruined (see pic) so have taken them away with me but will keep a hold of incase CO wants them. New log is back in the bag along with pencil and sharpener but bag is ripped so log will probably get wet again, I’m thinking sprinklers are getting it wet as it hasn’t rained much of late.
