Unfortunately I must archive this cache as my husband is very unwell and we are unable to service it. From all accounts it is gone. Sorry.
Another go 17/4/17. Definitely new shelter. Photo in previous log shows old shelter. Maintainance required. Email to be sent to CO
MMM, after logging a DNF, and now looking back over previous logs, I feel I should have found it. Never mind, next time.
I t think the CO Needs to check out this cache. Te shelters are too new to hold this cache any longer.
Not sure this is still here. The shelters have recently been replaced. May need to be checked.
Nice easy find.
Had to be discreet as council were here.mowing at the time.
LOG IN POOR CONDITION AND FULL.

Found it! my first find. Beat the other half. first for 2017 taking the trackable and replacing with a ribbon. Great way to spend the weekend seeing new sights of this awesome country we live in.
Found with assistance from weroamin on the way east to Major's Creek. Good hide and cache is OK but will need a new log in the near future. Left a pathtag for the next collector. TFTC
We did go sit in the shade to sign the log. Afterwards we made use of the facilities. - Zeke & George of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA

Found at 10:30am, high muggle count this morning, morning tea time for grey nomads! Ahh...for the days of thick corned beef sandwiches and sweet tea! SL TFTC Cape York here we come!
Having only traveled short distances for a few days the van needed a long run to recharge a few things. Decided to come out and camp at Reid River for that reason. At that stage we didn't know there was a cache here. In fact we had tea right under it! Later in the night we checked to see and what do you know, there was one only 3 metres from the van. So out we went and this one was grabbed at 10pm. Thanks.
On our way back home to Darwin after 6 months on our caching road trip adventure.... Great stop over place on the way fromBowen to Charters Towers T4Tc:)
Visited Canandaigua Black Bear

With a lack of findable caches in Townsville due to so many needing maintenance and having found almost all the rest I headed out of town a bit. This one has always sat at the limit of my Townsville finds but today I thought I'd finally grab it. A nice well-appointed rest stop - interesting to hear the family history. Looking at the D/T ratings and the size of the cache I was confused at first expecting a small around ground level. From the logs I worked out where it was and it was a micro and in a T2 spot (not reachable from a normal standing position). Still there aren't that many places to look. I signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I found this a few weeks ago with my Aunty but only just got an account to log the find. TFTC.

Easy with no campers. Last time we tried there were 100s. Took tag 3202648. Left hour glass.
Found this cache on a day trip to charters towers with the family (geoma, geonell, geoboy, geogurl, TC14, and naomisart). TFTC. We all signed the log and we left a pathtag behind.
What a fun hide! And we happened to be enjoying a coffee at the exact spot!!
I am short and old but I still was able to get this very quickly. Neat rest area. TFTC
TFTC it was a great spot. However there were lots of muggles around. We managed to get it when no one was looking. The cache is in great condition.
TFTH we signed the log and left a few swappable items. Was a great location. We had to wait for a few grey nomad muggles to leave before we could retrieve it
Spent a lot of time here over the years, and you'd never know this was here all along.
Found it
Came to a friends house and After i, my mum snakeytan and my brother rross75 came to this cache found it straight away;) A lot of memories here for us

Cache was found while we showed a traveller what we were doing. He might get interested.
Cache was smaller than we expected.

we stayed here the night and found the cache. Seems we aren't the only ones who were searching outside the fence but in the end we made the find to the amusement of some muggles.

9:11:00 AM. Out for a drive to Charters Towers for the day and came across this great rest area. Lucky for us the grey nomads had left and it was an easy find. The area was certainly full on our way home in the afternoon. Thanks HDSpringer for placing this cache.

Finally remembered to stop here, this time on the way back from lego display and shopping in Townsville. Quick find by geomum. SL, all in good nick, TFTC HD Springer
Heading to Charters Towers for the Goldfield Ashes for the first time provided us with yet another chance to attempt this one. We have been here on a number of times before only to be out muggles each and every time. This time there was only one other vehicle in the area and they were more interested in the ablutions than us.
geoP found the cache easily enough and so had someone before us as the most recent entry was from a muggle stating they had found it accidentally and would check out the game.

This cache had certainly been muggled however we replaced the container yesterday on a trip to Charters Towers.
On a caching road trip with MattCNS. We departed Townsville and headed out on the Flinders Highway out to Mingela. From here we turned south and drove down to the historic township of Ravenswood. Then it was down to Ayr and back to Townsville via the Bruce Highway.
Memories of Reid River was the first cache on my agenda today. On arrival at the Reid River Rest Stop, the search began. After several minutes, I asked for help from Matt who has previously found the cache. He checked and said that it's no longer their. Sorry for the bad news.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 10:15am. We stopped in the park to have our coffee break and found us a cache as well. The cache was found quickly and it's in good condition. TFTC
After a DNF a couple of years ago we were back again today. Still a very popular spot but luckily for us everyone seemed to be facing away from GZ. Pagan made the find, Loki still struggled . Thanks HDSpringer
