is this still around?, I won't not of spent so much time at this one if I knew how many DNF
My GPS was jumping around a bit, so I didn't know where to start looking. It's a beautiful garden, though. I'll be back another day. Thanks.
We looked long and hard for this one ... but had no luck at all. Some signs of trampled ground in the beautiful garden unfortunately. Will give it another go at a later date.
Gave this one a good old try. All three clan members searched for about thirty mins but had to call it before we caused damage to the gardens. Found two possible hiding spots but they were empty. Hope we just missed it but with the amount of rubbish around I suppose muggles can't be ruled out. Thanks for the hide. Maybe next time for the clan
Found after searching wrong spot for a while - wasn't expecting it to be off track in this beautiful garden
Thank you for this cache
I cannot believe we have lived around the area and never visited this beautiful park

Found today - what a gorgeous place - I never knew it was here. Left a few little bits and pieces
Out and about caching on a rainy day with lil geokids. Probably too the wrong entrance but got there in the end.
What a lovely park!! Never would have known it was there if it weren't for geocaching. Love it
Almost had the park to ourselves until a drunk (yes, at 10am!!) muggle left the park with only 2 of his 3 dogs and then a search party came looking for the poor soggy doggy that got left behind. Lucky we had just jumped back onto the path to sign the log book and swap some treasures when they came along and found the dog close by.
Left Ben 10 rubber. Took Nerf dart.
Thanks for the cache and showing us this great spot.

A quick cache after work, wet, windy, coolish and soggy underfoot
Went around a bit trying to keep dry, ultimately I had to get into it.

1st find for our son Josh. However the garden seems to be suffering close to the cache. Maybe it should be moved to prevent further damage in the area.
What a way to spend the first day of school holidays, and our first cache found for July. Live this little oasis in montrose. Come here quite a bit but first time we have geocached here
Never knew this garden existed! Thanks for sharing this lovely spot! TFTC. TNLN.
Walked the long way in, as peak hour traffic made it too difficult to park close.
I have never been here before, what stunning gardens they are, I must come back another time.
Searched for a while, not happy about having to go into the garden to retrieve the cache. Thanks T-Ravish

A couple of muggles sitting with dogs made it a fairly difficult approach but when they moved on it was a very quiet place, great history and completely unknown to me before finding, these little gems is brilliant.
I parked by the shops and walked through the oasis, a good idea to choose this location for a geocache as it was nice to walk around. Didn't see another person in there and it seemed like quite a big and luscious garden, with trees running along the boundary so it was hard to tell that there was houses all around.
I remember Kevin Heinze coming to my school as a kid to speak to us about gardening so it was nice to come past and explore this garden. Cache was in good condition Travel Bug was not there though. TFTC
Beautiful little park. Had to wait for muggle to clear but got in and out unseen. S-bomb found this one. Thanks for the hunt.
We were in the area picking up Moveable caches for the Geocaching Australia Bingo game and also needed a GC.com cache for todays date for our Project 366 and this one was nice and close.
It was lovely to walk through the shady garden and sit on the seat and admire the surroundings on a warm day! Thanks for bringing us here! TNLNSL

The places you find Gecocaching! Faved for that reason. Took me a few minutes to spot GZ from the path. Found on a morning pick-up to reach 800 later today. TFTC
Found at 6:25pm on the way home from a family gathering. Can still remember watching Kev on TV many years ago.

Found by youngest geo son, I can still remember the TV show, Sow What that Kevin hosted many years ago, what a great park and gardens! TFTC
On a beautiful spring day this garden was delightful. Flowers, budding trees, shade and sunlight filtering through the foliage... what a grand place. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
We had just been out helping the economy at the native plant nursery so what better than a garden cache with an interesting connection on the way home. Left a TB. TFTC.
After finishing job that I had to wait 2 hour for I decided to keep on caching as it hadn't started to rain yet. Sl thanks T-ravish for the cache.
Well this has been on the to do list for so long and after a DNF at Bridge Reserve and the need to find a cache today to fill in the calendar for project 366. Missed the easy car park and parked near the oval - not a wise choice as it was really wet & muddy under foot. Eventually made it into the wonderful garden.
Quick easy find TNLNSL TFTC

Eventually found my way into this great park.
GPS too me to two other options that were definitely no-go's.
But it was worth it in the end to walk around here, a nice tribute to a gentle man.
Thanks again T-Ravish

A bit late logging this one but better late than never. After having lunch at my favourite Montrose nursery/cafe and finding a couple of other nearby caches, I noticed this one on the GPSr and just had to have a look at the late Kevin Heinze's private garden, which I didn't know was here. I watched him a lot on TV and saw him presenting at a few garden shows. He gave very practical and useful gardening advice. It was a lovely stroll along the garden path to GZ, while looking at the plants along the way. I found the hide fairly quickly thanks to the hint and signed the log at 4:45pm.
TNLN, although a few TBs had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks T-Ravish for putting a cache here so that we can all enjoy Kevin's 'oasis'. Will return in Spring when I'm sure lots of plants will be blossoming. [^]

Took a little while this one. Once we worked out that the right spot was only a metre away, quickly had the cache in hand.
Nice little garden we had no idea existed. Thanks for bringing us here!

Got my hands dirty - Kevin would approve. I remember Kevin H when I was a kid growing up near Montrose. When propagating plants always give the roots a little tickle and when it's in the pot blow on it for good luck. This cache also brought me back through Montrose Oval. Lots of changes / improvements in 30 years!!!!!!! Thanks for the memories!!!!
Found it, despite 3 little bike riding muggles running around trying to see what I was doing
Found Early in the Morning, Took Gold coin. Didn't no that Kevin did his show here , great little hide away.
Thanks Me-Again.
Thanks Me-Again.
This Cache needs no maintenance for now. We ("nicklaus" and "STEFF!") renovated the Cache after it was soaked. It got a new box and some things to swap. I put it on the earlier place. It may need to be put in a different place because there is a pond nearby.
Found at 1935hrs. Container full of water, but spare log dry and signed. TNLN TFTC
Found @ 9:10pm, find # 1165.
I had been past this one many times but never stopped in for a look.
Tonight as I was going past I decided that this one needed another smiley.
The first task was to try and find the right spot to access this cache, once that was done I made my way to GZ but it took me a little while to find the correct spot but found it in the end.
It was a bit dark to have a look around these gardens, maybe another day as I didn't knows they were here.
Thanks to T-Ravish for this cache.

Found at 4.10pm. Another of our excursions with 80degrees. As time was limited today by other plans just headed out for the afternoon. Struggled to get an accurate GZ - had to spend some time off the path and in the garden bed before Mrs X found it - contents dirty and wet but new log book okay. TFTC and bringing us to these lovely gardens

This is a beautiful park well worth a visit - a peaceful oasis on a pleasant sunny day.
What a rippa of a park. An oasis.
After a few missteps I eventually had the cache in hand.

Out on a night caching run with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend), which took us up into the Dandenong Ranges for the night. It took us twice as long to find the right entrance to GZ as it did to find the cache. Once parked we had a nice stroll to GZ where after a five minute search and the use of the hint, we found the cache. Nice little spot. Thanks for the hide.
Found on another legendary night caching run with my best mate Marty (Quasar3671). After finding the way in, we went for a lovely night stroll in this beautiful park, and after a bit of careful searching, had the cache in hand. Cheers and TFTC.
Saturday morning, and it was a great time to be out and about caching with no care in the world. I had about half a day before I was due over at a friends house so I madly cached in the Kilsyth area today. With a high concentration of caches that I have yet to find here, it was a good 3 hours with 14 caches found. As usual, I would park close by and run into GZ with the backpack on my back. This was cache # 13 for the morning.
And number 13 it was. After several attempts at accessing this area I finally found the entrance and was able to get into the garden. A few muggles were walking the boardwalks so I had to wait until they had gone. I then shoved my hand under a rock looking for the cache and only got two rose thorns stuck in two fingers for my efforts. I retrived the thorns later in the evening with a needle. Wow one was really deep too. Anyway I found the cache in need of repair. I had read the logs befroe getting there so I carried in a new logbook and snaploc bag and added these to the contents. The cache now has a replacement log for future finders (See photo). Thanks again T-Ravish

Just logging a found it log - for more detailed information see Needs maintenance log.
Found this today and the log was soaked and not able to be written in. I tried to see if it was possible to write in it but I think I did more damage to it. This log needs to be replaced and the container while being airtight is not water tight.
I had tried to find this cache once previously with Irontoad unsuccessfully. I was in the area today doing some other caches and so decided to try this one again. I interpreted the clue in a different way and found it quite quickly.
TFTC. T-Ravish. TNLN and didn't sign log.
