We thoroughly searched the tree and the obvious hiding spots in and under it. No container
Having a great time with one off my grandsons, DragonDefender, on a geocaching hunt in the Nelson/Tasman area.
Having a bit of a drive around.
Cheers for the cache.

Think we found it, but no log though. Lid was left off unfortunately, so emptied water and put lid back on.
Having found the tour cache we decided to find these others on the way back to civilisation. TFTC.
The holidays are here and the second half of the ‘Very Top of the South Tour’ begins. GraciesGPSFun and I have been joined by NosyNel and Jude_E and so the fun begin begins. Log signed as GENJ.

We had no coverage here, but the host was quite obvious thank goodness. All good here, but yes there is a house over viewing this cache. Thanks for the placement beltfamily
Continuing on our PWGT journey visiting the top of the Mainland this weekend and visited this one while in the area TFTC.
Lid missisng on this one. Arranged a replacement container to help it along. Cheers
Sunday 14 Feb - Motueka - Wakefield - Richmond - Cable Bay and home to Picton. So lets get exploring.
A surprise call from Taybee NZ wanting to do the PWGT series inspired us to come to Tasman for a 3 day weekend with Zara and Toby. We explored some awesome spots in Collingwood, Takaka, Kaiteriteri, Riwaka, Wakefield, Nelson and Cable Bay. Thanks for al the COs who helped this happen. Enjoyed reading all the cache pages relating to NZs history and events.

#8495. I flew over to Nelson today as I am off on a work trip on Monday. A friend of mine lives in Frosty Road in Hira so she decided to spend a few hours with me geocaching today. The rain was threatening but it did not become steady until later in the afternoon. We parked by the road and walked back to GZ. Nice quick find. Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Thanks beltfamily for the cache. Decent views here and lovely hearing bellbirds singing in the nearby forest areas.
Quick park and grab well found the container but nothing else so we placed a log and double bagged the container (no lid) and put back into place. Maybe it had been muggled.
Hi Beltfamily.
I should have read logs before come out this way as could have replaced the container. sorry to be no help!
previous logs correct. container is there but was full of water with no logbook. Have photos if needed. TFTC

Well this was a quick find but the container is missing it's lid and log which seems really odd. I noticed looking back at the online log that this has been an issue before. Thanks beltfamily.
Found it but someone didn’t put lid on and it’s full of water and no paper to fill out
Someone didn’t put lid on it and it’s full of water so couldn’t fill out the paper I don’t have paper or another container with me
Made a quick find and grab of the cache here. Took a while to spot the nearby house as all the trees have grown up around it. Did a bit of maintenance to the cache as the old container has no lid. Log in new container, covered by old container now. tftc
I had been to Cable Bay a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't explored down this road. A lovely day & gorgeous Nelson scenery.
Thanks for the cache, beltfamily.
Thanks for the cache, beltfamily.
Visited the area today for a Kayak Club & Forrest & Bird "cito" type event. Managed about 5 bags of rubbish and a large commercial oven in the section that TregearP and three others were covering.
This was one of three caches we found in the area.
Cheers and thanks for another beltfamily cache.

Out this way with the local canoe club helping F&B with the annual rubbish collection, great to meet some new canoe / kayakers and an enjoyable morning picking up rubbish and exploring the shoreline. Nice to see the planting in the area coming along, TFTC all nice and dry.
Cache very wet so replaced paper and made it watertight, put it back in its hidey place . all good now.
Lid missing and log too so I signed the calling card. Pretty dry still though. Cheers.
Found on a long weekend up in Nelson/Marlborough, with family, friends, and caching. Ticks all my boxes!!
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Yeah, that one was pretty straightforward. I directed it without much effort.
However, as noted previously, the lid of the container is missing, and so is the logbook. I left a card behind instead, but in the long term it would probably pay to fix this one up.

mrs capperz, and nightowl19's holiday on the South Island is over which means a run to the airport at Nelson to get them home. We spent a pleasant morning in and around Nelson doing some of the sights; Cathedral, Tahuna beach, views from up above the beach and it was another great day weather-wise too. All good things must come to an end though and once they were safely up in the air and away I turned on the G P S and had a little look-see for a few before all the daylight deserted me.
Easy find here but no sign of a log book so added a piece of a real estate agents flier I found in the car

Out for an evening drive with Master B, with a trip out to Cable Bay way to pick off a few caches. No obvious twitching curtains in the houses on the hill, but needed to keep my eyes on the camper van parked in the next paddock along. With no signs of life there either I was able to search along the grassy edge. I found I needed to search in a couple of different places before being able to grab the cache. Straightforward when you follow what the GPS is suggesting.

Missed this one on our way down the road but got it on the way back. Most members of the team were looking in completely the wrong place while the logician of the team soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
#8520. This was our first visit to the area and we enjoyed exploring it. A quick find here. TFTC.
A quick find but the container had a bit of water in it so we tipped it out. Log book a bit damp but still signable. Noticed that there are a couple of finds logged for yesterday (there were no signatures in the logbook for several months) so wonder if the finders had actually found it today as we noticed a little sports car had stopped here while we were looking for Slippery Slope further down the road.
Nice viewpoint here. TFTC.

That's as easy as they come. Can't believe anyone even saw me as I was like The Flash. TFTC
First time down this road for many years, this was an easy find since it was totally exposed. Not aware of any eyes watching, nothing obvious anyway. A surprisingly busy road today though with an unexpected number of vehicles parked at the end of the public road. TFTC.
Had a small run with Holymu in the area. I have never been up this road as far but caches beckoned. TFTC
No one watching today - so into it and out pretty quickly . Lovely spot to come to. TFTC.
Nice easy find. TNLN. A good night find but did have a dog barking at me. Thanks!
Wow, didn't think I would get this one on a short Jog from Cable Bay, but coming via the short-cut cache at P??? Flats showed me the way ! Thanks for bringing me out here.
Too easy, we put some more cover over it as it was completely exposed. There were a few empty geocoin/Tb bags so we will check whether they are missing or still in circulation. A few young people had signed recently, perhaps young muggles at play.....Have just checked out the trackables and they are still in play so good news.... though 1 is stuck in Whangarei.
Nice location, just some 100 metres from a similar spot where we had parked our campervan for one night. Logged at around 9 PM, quite dark, no problems with muggles.

Another nice drive by cache with a fantastic view. I feel very envious of the locals here and what they get to look out upon TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to a place we hadn't been before - have been up the other side of the river but dont think we noticed this road lovely views indeed and peaceful - certainly didnt feel any eyes upon us but who knows signed log thanks for the cache
Biked out to help with a trap line, so got a few close caches. Watch out for gnomes crossing the road. TFTC
Dropped off coin but can't log it. Caching Hearts. Great Cache easy to find great view.
This may well be the first Belt family find by a bikini clad Ant. Photos for sale - maybe.
