Strange enough, it is still there! We found it behind a tree and signed the logbook. Maybe just unarchive it??? The place is worth a visit.
Old boots found part of a log but that was all we found during a thorough search at GZ. Almost certain the cache is gone. TFTC
Out and about on a morning of caching before heading back to Wellytown ,interesting spot TFTC
I can see this area being developed some day what with the commercialization of Mot. Quick find.

During our 4 weeks holiday in the southern island of NZ we did not only find an exiting countryside and wildlife. The many caches brought us sometimes to places we didn´t expect or planned to go to.
Thank you very much for this. Greetings from Germany.

Nice quick find. The cows took a definite interest in me, and there were some startled quail around - I'm guessing they had a nest nearby. Cheers Gav [7010]
Well, we’ve driven all around Motueka looking for caches, so we thought we’d been to every little park & reserve that there was, but no – here’s a new one! Lots of interesting things here – little quails running around & ‘basket’ fungi, and the history. Could have stayed a bit longer but the weather was a bit marginal. + Felix Micro-Geocoin
1300hrs Interesting reading. Some really attained a very good age. DO The Waldo Jog (447713) and PU TB ACDMGB. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Visited here a couple of times in pre-caching days and had a good look around - funny how you have no idea that there could be a cache hidden somewhere. ( Actually I wouldn't have known what a "cache" was then). Enjoyed finding this one, TFTC.
4303 Quick find at the Settlers’ last stand, a nice and quiet restful spot, TFTC.
It was interesting to read that the first burial here was in 1844 - there surely must have been earlier deaths in Motueka. Maybe there was another cemetery in use back then as well. Quick find. T4TC.
Many many many cow-muggels here. And they were all pretty interested in geocaching...

#1723 Got here in pouring rain. A guy with two dogs was studying the graves, so ate my sandwiches and waited for him to leave. Rain eased off and I dashed in to find the cache. TNLN DS8300
3206. A quick find in another spot that we have visited on previous visits to the area. We sat on the seat to write up the log and found a 'real rat' dead on the grass in front of us. We thought we had found "Ratty" yesterday - was this another cousin?
Thanks

Drive today from Motueka to Picton and getting a few caches on the way. Today is sunny and warm which is a great change after the deluge yesterday that kept us housebound. This park is just drying out enough to permit a nice walk. Good hide, needed to use the hint. TNLN SL
Found cache quite exposed, so was an easy find.
Find # 28 for today, left Chasing Butterfly Lady geocoin to start it's journey.

Nice One!!!!!!! Delighted to see a new cache at this very historic spot. One of our very first multi-cache placements (now archived) was near-by. Surprised with the amount of new restoration and recognition of the pioneers that has taken place. Well done! Left TB Thanks
Andre found this cache while we were taking a Sunday drive. This wee area seems out of place now with the encroaching houses. ty.
